What a fantastic restaurant this is. We've been here a few times niw and tonight was the best. Every dish was delicious with great service and ice cold asahi on draught. What could be better? Can't wait til next time.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. The staff is lovely and always very helpful. I have been several times and hopefully will be back many more!

The worst buffet I’ve been too. I Went when it first opened was really nice but went again last night and it was terrible. The food was cold undercooked stredded beef had zero beef init just batter. the cocktails said alcohol tasted like fruit juice. £9.95 aswell daylight robbery. The cakes was disgusting dry. The food was horrible the lamb chops taste like cardboard the duck was undercooked fat. Do not go to this restaurant.

Be Prepared , They say the service charge is optional but they make you pay that. You are not allowed to leave 1 piece behined in your plate . Horrible customer service . The managers are rude.

Incredibly rude staff, refused to listen to my complaint and refused to give me their name. The staff member walked off saying "I'm busy". I was bullied into paying 10% OPTIONAL service charge because I did not like the shushi served and a left 2 pieces.

Very rude and disrespectful reception staff. The optional service charge is not optional, they would force you to pay because you have left a piece of sushi on your plate: Not allowed to dislike anything from the menu, as you will need to eat it regardless or pay for it. I wont be returning

You know what you're getting here and it's worth it everytime you're craving carbs and Sushi! Clean service with cool cat robots. Can't complain. Everything completed through an app so you can just relax and enjoy the process. Timer on the delay in rounds is fair and getting through all 25 is a glorious challenge.

Horrible food. Expensive price.

The food is amazing. It has quite a selection to choose from. We stayed clear of the rice and noodles dishes as they tend to be quite heavy and fill you quite quickly. The sesame balls are amazing but we're unavailable this time. The salt and pepper prawns were really nice as was the spicy tuna rolls. We booked online and asked for a booth and was sat away from the main area which was ideal for a date night. This was our second time at Sakura and definitely not the last.

It feels like dining at a Chinese-style Japanese buffet in Shenzhen, where even the air freshener and hand dryer in the restroom seem very similiar, or perhaps the same brand. For a moment, there's this magical feeling of crossing through time... But it seems like I might have ended up in the wrong place.

Great food. Lovely experience. The restaurant manager can be condescending atimes, needs to be more welcoming, no matter who comes through the doors. Ambience is lovely and entrance is exotic!

Really great Japanese restaurant. You order on the tablet, and the robot brings you the food, which is made fresh. Very simple and efficient. We went for the buffet and tried most things off the menu.

Amazing restaurant and good selection of Japanese foods .

We went for date night and enjoyed the wide variety of food on offer, especially the sweet and sour chicken and katsu curry. Ambience was lovely and the place was full of character. Customer service was exemplary throughout, including the robot. Would recommend!

Sakura never fails to amaze, all you can eat sushi...what's not to love about this place! Very friendly and helpful staff too. The food is always delicious and there is plenty of choice, even vegetarian options available! Your food is delivered to your table by a robot! Any Japanese cuisine enthusiasts or sushi lovers in the Manchester area need to come here at least once.

Actually a really nice change, robot delivery is fun and the staff attentive and helpful. All you can eat ordered by tablet, arrives pretty quick and it’s all great food. Would definitely return.

Sakura is a fantastic family friendly restaurant with great staff and the added bonus of service robots. The food is fantastic and the beer selection adequate. For the price its very impressive and I look forward to going again.

The food was not the same been here many times 2 times it was crap I gave it benefit of doubt but its just gone down hill shame .Nice restaurant multi million pound they spent but I was not there to eat the decorations and chairs and tables

Great place to try all your can eat Japanese food that is freshly prepared to order. Speedy service by robots! Has parking on site just don't accept contactless payment only chip&pin luckily we had 1 card between us but wasn't aware until we finished so could have ended up washing dishes as phone cards and apple pay are not accepted.

I have beeb here on multiple occasions it has very friendly and welcoming atmosphere and staff. The food is amazing and I praise it to everyone I know and is one of my favourite resteraunts to visit. If I could write multiple reviews on Google (instead of it telling me that I can only update my review and can't post more) I would, therefore I've found this site and would highly recommend this place because my partner, friends and family love this place that much and want to show support to the wonderful staff, hosts, chef and our appreciation to their lovely food. It's overall a wonderful experience and of course, we enjoy seeing the robot servers too :). - Jade and Jake

Not what you want for more than 30£ per person drinks excluded. We know that bring an all you can eat the quality won't be a 5 stars but this time was proper rubbish honestly

Quality of food is 2/10 would never return again would never recommend it either. At one point I physically felt sick. The food it horrible to say the least. Overpriced for what it is. Not sure how this place has so many good reviews. Simply don’t bother.

Absolutely wonderful experience this is our go to restaurant. Environment and staff is warm and friendly. The food is amazing as usual, I would highly recommend this establishment to everyone and have often spoke highly of Sakura to friends and family and enjoy my visit here every time I go. The staff are really lovely and the robot waiters are a really fun touch. The menu is decent and the only downside is that most of the dishes are cold. I don’t mean tepid, I mean straight out of the fridge cold. It’s quite expensive for lunch so you’d expect a high standard. I’ve been twice and the first time was fantastic but the second visit with the proper cold salt and pepper chicken, cold goyoza, cold crispy shredded beef and other dishes was really off putting.

Such a pity, it’s been a favourite of mine for years but I have noticed a serious decline in both quality and quantity. It’s like going to a jackpot, one day it’s the best thing in the world and the next the food is appalling. Decent sushi and desert selection but they sent the wrong order twice and found a shell in the beef udon soup, nearly took our teeth out! Only worth if you can eat lots, otherwise total waste of money. Best thing is free parking

Always an excellent place to visit as me and my partner have done on multiple occasions. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, but especially if you are a sushi lover as I am. The range of food choices is excellent and the atmosphere is very relaxed with very friendly staff and funny robots that deliver your food. You order your dishes through a tablet and it is very easy and simple to do. This is a must if your in the Manchester area and have an evening spare!

Great restaurant. The buffet concept is also much better done than picking off reheated dishes served in the middle of the room. You order your things to the table and everything is freshly made, brought to your table by cute robots. Really recommend a try!

During my recent restaurant visit, the culinary experience left much to be desired. The food quality fell below expectations, and to make matters worse, the ambiance was uncomfortably chilly, making the overall dining experience less enjoyable. Th food is very expensive with very low quality

Never been to a robot serviced restaurant! And as a novice I can only praise the staff for explaining the process and adding that warmth I'm used to. I would like to personally thank Uday! I am an anxious diner at the best of times and this was completely out of my comfort zone but he made the experience enjoyable. Also thank you to the lovely member of staff who stopped to help us take a picture of us as we were leaving x

I visited last night with my partner for his birthday, I’m vegetarian, he is not. There are signs on the table clearly stating if there are any dietary needs to speak to a member of staff. There are several dishes on the menu which don’t state what’s actually in them (which is a huge concern considering many people have food allergies), one of these items specifically on the “new dishes” section was just named sesame balls with no further description, I asked a member of staff if this dish is suitable for vegetarians, he replied “I don’t know” then walked away with no offer to find out for me A different member of staff then came over with our next dishes so I asked him to which he replied “everything is vegetarian” which I know is not correct because there are lots of meat and fish dishes so I asked what do you mean? To which he responded it’s all halal so it’s vegetarian, I explained to him that vegetarian means no meat so he said yes I think that’s meat. I was quite unhappy with the service so when we received our bill which I was paying in cash I asked the server who brought our bill if the service charge could be removed, he pulled a very childish and rude face and said yeah I guess I handed over cash and should have been given about £2 in change but he never returned with any change, I decided not to kick up a fuss over £2 but to be honest that was also extremely rude and unprofessional. The whole experience was pretty bad to be honest and I would not recommend this place at all.

Absolutely wonderful authentic Japanese all you can eat! All staff are lovely 10/10 would recommend to anyone, even have non-Japanese dished!

This place is just wow. Very unique Japanese restaurant, with great atmosphere and super cute waiters - robots 🤩🤩. Sushi is excellent , and there is really good choice. All you can eat but restaurant is not allowing people to waste food , which is fantastic. The desert bar is finishing meal well 🤤. Highly recommend this place. Will be on my favourite list

I had high hopes of this place. Aesthetically it looked nice. The service was good and food did come quick and on time. The food, however, was disappointing, felt as though the sushi were not made with enough care, and didn't feel as fresh as I thought it should be. Some sushi were nice, but others were not as tasty as they should be. The brisket pieces were nice. I would suggest more options for mocktails (non-alcoholic). The desserts were not what I expected, the wrong kind of cake used for each dessert. There was not much taste in them, really disappointed with this.

After wanting to take my daughter here for a while I finally got the chance. Warm sushi was nice as I dont like the cold sushi anyway. Expected the famouse robots to do delivery but wasnt the case. Was seated right next to the kitchen which was abit of a let down as we were not able to take in the atmosphere as much as we would have liked. Service was quick but food was abit disappointing.. fryed noodles were DERENCHED in oil(not the way they are actually supposed to be) bow bun was cold and it was frozen fried chicken!! Katsu curry was just curry sauce poured over yet again frozen chicken(tastes and looked like chicken gougons) Dumplings werent nice and rubbery. Cakes were rubbery and dry. Tempura prawns were fried fresh though. Lamb chop was disgusting as it had a weird smell and taste to it(tasted off and looked reheated) Prawns had the poo vine still in them!!! Over all was charged £89 for 2 people.. and iv had better from take aways. Staff stood over us throughout the WHOLE meal. Yes its a all you can eat at £25 per head but did expect better food. My daughter was happy as she got to experience it but wont be going back again.. noodles in any shaoe or form were a big let down. Saw others orders being served and it seems there was NO consistency in the food plating and also seems if your a regular or know staff food was fresher and looked better. Staff were nice and friendly.. drinks over priced.

This place is great value for money. This is a japanese buffet restaurant. It can vary considerably with how busy it is, but as you can imagine, it is busy at peak times. The food here is generally good. Remember, this is a buffet, not a la carte, but the food is brought to you, on most occasions, by a robot. Basically you order on a tablet, and the food, generally, arrives within 5-10 mins, pretty good. We have been here more than enough times, and we keep on coming back. Its not "cheap", but you can do a lot worse value for money wise. Yes, some of the food quality is variable, eg the lamb, on some visits, its great, on others, its almost as if its re-cooked for the 3 days. We find the teppanyaki stuff really nice, both the chicken and the duck. The beef cubes can sometimes be overly seasoned, but I guess its to the taste buds of the chef. There is a huge variety, so you should be able to find something that will fit your palette. We tend to go into a food coma after visiting here. We find that it is better when it is quieter, food tends to be more consistent. We do find that they can better inform customers on how the food arrives from the robots. We find that some people visiting for the first time tend to grab everything off the robot, even when it is blatantly visible that they did not order it. The robot does inform you which shelf your food is on, but people dont listen do they??? *LOL* Yes, the robot is gimmicky, more of a novelty value to be fair. That probably explains why some people say some food they ordered never arrives. Will we come back? Yes, we've been coming back for quite a long time. Do we think its good value? Make sure you come with a empty belly to maximise the place. Everyone's expectations is different, as I said right at the beginning, this place is not a la carte, its a buffet, but to minimise waste like most other buffets, at least you know the sushi hasnt been played with by a dozen people being it comes to you. You must have a really restricted palette if you cannot find anything to eat on the menu, I mean, they also do chicken nuggets, chips etc for those who type of people who really struggle.......

Very cool idea with the robots, I really liked it. Something new. Service is good, nice staff, works to deliver food. As for the food - not really tasty, ate with taenoe that liked the sushi and that is not the best. It is convenient to use a tablet and order everything. In general cool place, you can visit 1 time.

£82 for 2 people. £6.80 for a bottle of water. Food was average, the steak was dry, hard and inedible. Last time we ever visit this place. Such a shame as there is so much potential, but poor standards of food and most definitely overpriced

It was our wedding anniversary and I really enjoyed the food and the scenery! After looking at the reviews I was really scared about the food and the staffs but I’m really glad it wasn’t the way I thought it was going to turn out. The one man who works there who made our night special thank you so much for the service, pictures and the kind gesture of the congratulation cake it was honestly amazing ! Definitely will be coming back soon. For the price you get I think it’s defo worth it

Had my birthday meal here, was very pleasant with the service and the variety of the foods! Before we visit this restaurant, I had a doubt that the portions of the foods seem small in other people's reviews, but trust me, you don't need big portion if you would like to try many different dishes! The variety of the foods are big! I was sad that I didn't get to try some udon soup as I was very full. The following are the good & down parts for the restaurant: 👍 - Variety of the options of the food - Staff super friendly and helpful - All foods are made by order, so you always get fresh foods. - You order the foods by the tablet they provide for each table (except dessert), so you don't need to keep standing up and go get your foods like other all you can eat places. - You can complete relax and enjoy the foods here, not like other all you can eat places that you always rushed to get the foods when there's fresh one just come out from kitchen. (Or maybe just me?😛) - If you have children, they would love the cat robot staff that deliver your foods to your table, trust me. 👎 - The sushi not the best, I actually couldn't taste the flavor from some sushi. - Some foods look different than the pictures on the menu. Salmon sashimi salad, the salmon cube came really really tiny pieces on the top; stir fry beef came very tiny cube pieces as well. - Prawn curry kinda like left over ingredients mixed in curry.. - Cheese salmon sushi, compare to the menu picture, they used sliced cheese instead of shredded cheese. The cheese didn't melt property as it's sliced xheeze and it's a bit burned. - Fried rice is plain Overall it's a good experience to me as I liked most of the foods except those I mentioned above. I'd definitely visit again to try more items on the menu!

The entrance is very pretty. I loved the robot. The food was nice and everything seemed fresh and came hot. Drinks were nice also, deserts not so much. Pricing isn't bad, It's a good place to eat for those with a moderate to large appetite. Soy sauce was extremely salty, and we didn't get some of the orders we put through at the same time. At times, food took a while to come.

Went as a group for a birthday meal, the venue is very pretty and the robot food delivery is entertaining. It’s easy to order food and you can order a lot but none of the food we ordered was particularly great. It was buffet standard...

All good…. Expensive as everything in Ireland, but at least something good and full of flavour…

I have been here 6 times now and we will always return. The food is so good and the Bella bot robot service is so unique. The place is so beautiful too. Its my families favourite place to eat.

1000000/1000000 it was so nice the food took only 1-7 minutes to get to my table. The staff were really friendly and the robot sang my son happy birthday and gave him a personalized cake. The atmosphere was great with loads of Japanese styled decor and up the stairs was light up cherry blossom trees and the toilets were on the left, up the stairs.

This is one of our favourite restaurant. Last time that me my husband went it was to celebrate 9 years of marriage. The lovely front of house made our evening even more special giving us a lovely cake with candles to celebrate alongside a special and colourful drink!
