Wasabi in City of London, Westminster

We bought 2 hot dishes ...but it was not hot, barely lukewarm. Sauce congealed, cold noodles. This food was just edible but certainly NOT ENJOYABLE!!! I have eaten piping hot food in other branches , so what's wrong in this branch!!! It would seem from observation that the staff are very busy processing deliveroo orders ...perhaps that's who gets the hot food!!!! and in shop customers are 2nd class. AVOID and eat elsewhere.

Vegan options are decent with, sadly, little tofu in the tofu noodles dish. The katsu vegan dish was better. It is average in pricing, the vegan triangle of rice with sushi nori round it is average to mediocre.

Normally my quick takeout spot is the itsu next door to Wasabi. However one day I decided that I want to try something different and went to Wasabi. That was one of my worst decisions! I have ordered sweet chili chicken noodles. Once I’ve tried it the chicken was dry and sauce tasted strange. Something seemed a bit odd. I was all good until two days later when I’ve experienced one of the worst food poisonings I’ve ever had. I’ve had to be hospitalised after it. I’m suing them. They can expect the letter from my lawyer very soon!

Since reopening in April 2021, I think this Wasabi has dropped its quality so strongly. I was such a Wasabi fan, however they never have Miso soup and I actually found a bone in my salmon, not only that, it smelt. I have started going to Itsu right next door which I've always liked less, but the food is lighter better made less calories and they always have miso soup. Sorry Wasabi. (I work in front so I have lunch here almost everyday)

Hubby grabs me a sushi en route home to Hertfordshire. Wasabi is the best. He bought another well known make yesterday and it was awful, tasteless, hard and horrible. So much so that I ate the fish off the top and threw the rest out! Then today Wasabi....delicious!

Nous avons été 2 fois dans cette boutique lors de notre passage à Londres, essentiellement pour y trouver des plats chauds à emporter. Nous avons été à chaque fois très satisfaits : la première fois, à notre arrivée de l'aéroport, même à 23h50, il nous a été possible de trouver des plats chauds. L'équipe est agréable, l'établissement est propre, les plats appétissants et les portions généreuses pour un prix très raisonnable. Nous avons eu l'occasion d'y tester : le poulet curry, le poulet épicé, les nouilles sautées et les sushis.

Nada mal por ser un "fast food" de sushi. La chica que nos antendía era española, muy atenta y simpática. El sushi que comimos, no fue el más rico que comi en mi vida, pero no estaba del todo mal.- Para comer al paso, si uno está apurado recorriendo las calles londinenses, es recomendable

It use to be just about affordable as a treat, now prices have increased I and pushed over the £4 mark for my Sushi lunch, can no longer afford to eat this regularly. Back to prett!

Surprisingly good sushi at this chain restaurant. Very clean, very fresh. A good option for a snack or lunch. Take away only.

We always grab sushi from Wasabi when we are in Victoria. It is equally as good as the sushi in Yo Sushi and you get much more for your money. The staff are always efficient but friendly as well.

This is my first time having Wasabi sushi. I'd say the sushi was average but definitely convenient for buying/eating as takeout or on the go. This was also a very busy location but service was quick.

Per pranzo al volo è top. Tutto molto fresco. Ci sono menù pronti o ti fai il tuo piatto. Ci sono tantissime versioni di sushi, anche vegetariano. Ci sono anche piatti caldi. Un bel bento 8 pounds.

Wasabi is part of a chain - Japanese food but whether it's what they eat in Japan I wouldn't know. You certainly get plenty of grub for your dosh! And it's pleasant enough. Certainly filling!

Good Japanese restaurant in Central London. If you love sushi and Japanese cuisine, in general, you should hop in.

We have tried most of the wasabi eateries in London and this one goes well with all. Nice food all very tasty, and helpful staff.

I had the tofu curry which was really tasty. The girl serving needed a personality and the place itself was incredibly grubby. The tables were in desperate need of a wipe down. The bin area needed wiping on the outside as it had food stains over it and the floor was I need of attention as well. I hope their kitchen is a bit cleaner.

I am into my Japanese and Wasabi really hits the spot I had the chicken Teriyaki with rice, edamame beans and veg. This particular branch is one where the staff are always very friendly and professional, service is always with a smile and very quick. Very well maintained and worth visiting if near Victoria. Won't be disappointed all around perfection.

This has to be my favorite Wasabi branch a short walk from Victoria Station with spacious seating and super friendly and professional staff. A great place to eat in and have take away from within central London. A lot better than over priced eateries that make up the run of the mill grab food places in Central London. Ten out of ten to the staff here and the management. Great value and quality, combine to make it a memorable experience.

my favourite sushi and sashimi restaurant and takeaway, my only problem is choosing from the array of superbly presented dishes.

I hope my country has these kind of restaurant because you can get bento or noodles and some sushi ... but it was very delicious...

I was a little suspicious of pre-made Sushi, but for a quick take-away option, this turned out to be tasty and a good value

I wish we had these in our city so bad!Every time I'm down in London, I always make the effort to visit a Wasabi. The sushi is great, the ready made selection boxes are great, or you can have a pick and mix style sushi box, it's just a brilliant concept.If you like sushi or Japanese food, check these guys out! It's really cheap too! Love it.

Great place for lunch. Delicious Japanese food. Quite a few tables at the back of the restaurant. Katsu chicken curry and salmon teriyaki are excellent. Lots of sushi choice too - which can be a bit expensive though.

If I am hungry I can get a big paper bowl of hot rice or noodles with some sort of curry. My favourite is the Salmon Teriyaki bowl, but that's usually sold out. The sushi is very good, nicely displayed and a good selection of different shapes, sizes and fillings. I always like to sit down and eat and have a rest and I do find that the tables are often dirty and in need of a good clean but the staff are busy and I don't mind.The food can be a little too salty but the food is filling for around £5 or £6 pounds and there is a good variety. It's great and I love it.

I love Asian food and this is an excellent place to eat! It is a takeaway restaurant, but they also have some tables to stay and eat. They have delicious combinations of sushi, salads, noodles! Everything is so fresh! If you want to eat healthy and something light while visit London, this is the place. Absolutely affordable !

Di solito quando vado a Londra per lavoro, la prima cena appena arrivato dall'aeroporto la prendo in questo take away per consumarla in albergo...... Una montagna di sushi. La qualità, pur essendo una catena, è più che soddisfacente. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo per il centro di Londra...

To be fair it's like any other wasabi I've been to. Sleek, great at everything, if not a bit cold interior. It's the perfect asian takeaway for me and will keep on surprising me in a good way. I love their hot pots, like their sushi (for the price) and don't see a reason why this concept would not work outside of london and in other major cities.

i regularly go to wasabi to grab some sushi and/or hot food. The restaurant itself is well situated but i found the set out confusing and ended up being told off for queuing in the wrong place!!!
