We have been on the Falmouth pasty hunt. Although the others came fairly close the traditional pasties from Warrens bakery came in at First place for all of us. Great tasting pasties which are definitely unbeatable. This is the Number 1 pasty shop in Falmouth

We were in need of a snack after our boat trip on the River Fal, so popped to Warrens for some of their hot sausage rolls. All their food is good and the sausage rolls were delicious. The pleasant lady who served us told us they had an offer on of three for the price of two! You can’t beat Warrens for freshly baked food. We’ll be back!

Warrens Bakery were once a great traditional pasty maker, but sadly, like many of their competitors, such as Rowes, their original popularity of a once great pasty has led to mass production & business profit streamlining. This has sadly affected their core product, which I would assume the target market is the unwary tourist who thinks that a pasty is a pasty and wouldn't know great from poor. Warrens pasties have become too small, are dry & poorly filled with contents resembling more of a mixed mush rather than identifiable vegetables & meat, little better than a Ginsters. Warrens are neither good value for money when compared to other good pasty makers such as 'Gear Farm', Mary's, Anne's, and The Cornish Oven, to name a few who's pasties are larger, tastier & better filled. Sadly, none of these are available in Falmouth and will require a worthwhile trip out of town to Helston. Warrens in our opinion aren't even worth the half price end of day reductions, they're really that poor. The last Warrens that we bought will be our last, the same as Rowes that are equally as poor. I'd either rather make the effort of finding a good pasty somewhere else or going without and having something else for lunch. Sadly, Falmouth hasn't got many great alternatives. The best are Pipps available from the Spar shop at the entrance of the docks, but be aware that they tend to sell out early. My 2 star review is specifically based on my experience of Warrens pasties and not Warrens other products. The premises are always clean and the staff are always fine.

We often buy pasties here and have never been disappointed. They always have a good amount of filling and are tasty. At the end of the day there are often reductions. Staff are friendly and efficient

I stopped by for a coffee after a hard morning and I’m so glad I did- The manager, Ella and her colleague were absolutely lovely, so bright and bubbly. I felt so at home and truly feel that these lovely ladies represent what customer service should be! The coffee and cake were lovely too- I would highly recommend this cafe purely down to the customer service but the coffee is an added bonus.

Great pasties and friendly staff. I can't keep my husband out of the pasty shop when he is in Falmouth! I bulk ordered pasties at Warrens for a function and they were ready on time and very nice.

Best cheese pasty we've had! Went back the next day for another but unfortunately due the the sea shanty festival the poor staff couldn't bake them quick enough!

Nice to find a decent bakery, admittedly still a chain, but the pasties were good and hot, and there are cakes, most notably saffron cake.

Our fourth and final day of this, our last, mini staycation of summer 2021, centred on the pretty village and harbour of St Mawes. We decided we should visit Falmouth and we drove in moderate traffic for an hour to get here, parked-up and wandered down to the Discovery Quay were we knew we would find a café for a drink. It was a very sunny and warm day and we sat on a terrace area which its shared by at least three café / restaurant businesses. Warrens has another outlet in Falmouth but the other blanch we passed on our wanderings didn’t seem to feature outside seating. We ordered and enjoyed a really good coffee and replenished and reinvigorated we set forth on a bit of retail therapy before lunch. Service was efficient and pleasant and we enjoyed our short visit here.

We visited this bakery near Falmouth harbour and found the staff very rude. They were not professional at all and were huffing and puffing when my mum was struggling to get her purse out that had fallen to the bottom of her bag. Obviously they need more training in customer relations.

Place appears to be hit and miss so can only rate my experience. Very helpful and friendly staff , great selection of pasties (at least 3 vegan options and 6 veggie options) all the ones we chose were delicious and well filled and the flavoured meringues were tasty

Warren bakeries always produce really great pasties and the one on discovery quay is no different to be fair. Plenty of choice and of course just walking past these places is not possible!

During our recent visit to Falmouth, we visited this bakery on several occasions to enjoy their deservedly famous, extremely tasty Cornish pasties and saffron buns. Liked the history printed onto the paper bags the goods were packed in, which added interest to the visit.

Nice pasties and pastries. Coffee too. Comfy concrete steps to eat off just outside. Cornish pasties like they should be.

Very friendly helpful staff, reasonably priced, a few tables and chairs to sit on inside to eat and drink your purchases if your not in a rush. The Raspberry Eton mess ball packs a sugary punch if your heading on a long journey and you need a boost.

Like every warrens bakery I go to I love the pasties they are delicious and have the nicest steak in them. Staff are great very friendly and easy to order your food from. Kudos to you all!!

Some very tasty pasties, great service from friendly staff and price reductions late afternoon, what more could you ask for? We only tried the 'traditional pasties, but there was a very good range of different flavour ones. The pasties are baked fresh throughout the day.

This place provides the best pasty's in town, Rowes used to be the main providor but Warens have taken over.

While attending the Falmouth Sea Shanty, I came across this bakery. I ordered a Chicken pasty as there were no other meat ones left. It was tasty.

The vegan pastys are my favourite in town!packed with flavour. The store is always very well kept and ive never had to wait longer than a minute to be served. credit to the staff who are so friendly and always happy to explain new products. Well done guys you are ace-ing it!

Love the pasties here! It is a little hidden but so i would say keep walking towards the end of the high street just before street with independent shops. But well worth the deal for two cornish pastries with a drink amd a sweet treat! Bargain!

The shop is slightly hidden, through a covered walkway next to the little Tesco on the Grove carpark, the one thing you can be sure of it the food is acceptable with meal deals and helpful staff. It is a bit hit and miss, whether your pasty contains some meat down one end and just swede and potato down the other. But that’s one of the surprises and joys of when you bite.

We had a Cornish pastie, it was good. Right amount of fat and the potatoes and beef tasted nice. Good option for a quick bite.

Spotted this lovely cake shop from the Maritime Museum which is close by. Had a wonderful selection of cakes and pastries to take away. The pasties smelt and looked good too. Well worth a visit.

We visited here whilst staying in the area last month. After browsing what was on offer we ordered coffees, a giant swiss meringue for my girlfriend and pasty for myself. We were told to take a seat and the drinks/food would be brought over. The friendliness and quality of the service were outstanding.

Popped in to escape the rain and enjoyed a coffee and shared a pasty. They declare it to be the best in the world (a claim made by so many bakeries). I have had better; to me the pastry wasn't great, on the greasy side. There was lots of well seasoned chuck steak though and the balance of veg to meat was good . Friendly staff who all seemed to be e joying their banter (but without ignoring the customers).

£4.50 for a pasty. Really? Left it where it was. So, might have been very nice. Place looked clean, but I won't be back.

The steak pasty was ok...this was the first Cornish Pasty we had tried in Cornwall and I reckon that there must be better places..little meat and full of veg......just a glorified Greggs......

We'll keep it short but unfortunately Warrens pasties throughout Cornwall have unfortunately gone in the same direction as most of their rivals. A very undersized pasty full of mush and without much flavour. It's edible as a snack for a tourist that doesn't know any different but compared to the best they are very run of the mill, small & uninspiring.

Well we think they are! Reasonably priced, friendly and efficient service - what more can I say? Always good value.

Stopped off here after discovering this bakery business next to Redruth Cathedral. Friendly staff and moderately successful specialist coffee and great pasties. Did not stop long, much more of a shop than a cafe (Redruth branch had more seating).

Popped in here with kids after visiting the Maritime Museum nearby as we were starving ! The museum restaurant was filthy and no clean tables so we had left in desperation. What a pleasure to come here, the man serving was helpful and polite (I think he was also the manager) the pasties were fresh, hot and delicious, coffees he brought over to our table for us. Even told me not to worry about cleaning up the floor after my kids, he'd happily do it! Brilliant! We loved our lunch, loved this little place !

We were enticed by the baker standing outside just before the shop closed declaiming in full town-crier mode that everything was now half price. So two med trad pasties for £3.25 seemed very reasonable and the deal was accepted. Very nice too...

They claim to have the best pasties on earth and all I know is they were very good. A medium was big enough for me and it came with coffee and a sweet for just over 5GBP.

Decided to have a pasty for lunch, received a free Danish Pastry, the size and fulness of the pasty was great l didnt eat another thing that day.

All of the Falmouth bakeries boast "Best this, that and the other pasties" and I'm a connoisseur of pies and pasties, but the one from Warrens we took aboard the Helford river sailing was the best I've ever tasted!

On holiday in Cornwall so had to try a pasty. Not disappointed with the steak pasty from Warren's bakery. Big tasty chunks of fresh vegetables and meat in a lovely soft flaky pastry. Shame there isn't a branch in Leicestershire!

If you want to have a pasty you have to come here. For one it's the oldest pasty making place there is and to survive so long you know the food must be great.

This company claims to be the oldest makers of Cornish Pasties in the world. It is not a cafe but has table and chairs inside where you are welcome to eat and drink what you purchase. There is an array of different pasties as well as other pies and cakes. I had one of their Cornish Pasties and it was one of the best I have ever tasted.

Stopped for s large, traditional Cornish steak pasty. It was great, really nice pasty! Friendly staff and fair prices too!

We paid a couple of visits to this lovely bakery during our family holiday last week. Great selection of bread, buns, cakes and pasties and between us we tried a wide range! Lemon tart, saffron buns and pasties very high on the list of our favourites! Lovely, helpful staff. And very good value for money.

A popular stopping off point for foot-long sausage rolls and sweet treats for the kids (and sometimes mum!). Warrens bill themselves as the first commercial pasty sellers and their experience shows - these really are the best pasties in town.

When ever I am in Falmouth, I always stop off at Bunnies for a pasty and a drink, and then sit on the quay side and enjoy looking at the boats

You know what you are getting when you go to a Warrens.Good food with a friendly face and smile and hot food. We called when they were setting up some marquees which was it bit noisy at the time.

What can I say? The pasties are to die for and there's plenty of choice although my favourite (surprisingly) was the vegetable ones.

You have to have a Cornish pasty when in Cornwall. Well, at least my partner does as I don't like them. I opted for a cheese and onion pasty and they were both delicious! They're also in many different areas around Cornwall too.

We had just had a two-hour boat ride courtesy of Falmouth Boat Hire and were feeling a little bit peckish.

Warrens have baking pasties for 150 years so they must be doing something right. We tried a proper pastie & a lamb & mint one both tasted great. Staff were very friendly & helpful even pointed out that for an extra 70p we could have a drink with our pasties.

We ha e tried a few Cornish pasties 😁 have to too get the best one and so far this is it!! Bit on the expensive side but worth it!

I seldom award five stars as I feel in life there is always room for improvement even with the best of things however in my opinion Warrens was exceptional. On a particularly wet cold and nasty Easter week day we were touring in this part of Cornwall and needed some food. We decided it should be a pasty and parking in the Grove Street car park we happened on Warrens in Discovery Quay purely by chance. What luck. Not only did they allow us to bring the dog in (albeit he is a small Jack Russell and he was told not to 'bounce about'!) but one of the staff then got him some water. Although this is basically a shop and takeaway they have a couple of tables against the wall where we were able to eat our pasties and drink our hot drinks. The pasties were superb and very reasonably priced. The staff were extremely pleasant and took the time to explain various points of interest in the neighbourhood so we could get the best from our day out.

The best pasties! Wonderful friendly staff. Almost too much choice but after lots of testing the traditional pasty is my winner...try the large one if you're super hungry!

We called in for lunch after visiting the maritime museum which is close by. The pasties were freshly baked and lovely and hot. The staff were friendly and jovial which always makes a customer feel appreciated and happy. Thanks for lovely fresh pasties!

This bakery has had to maintain its excellent reputation for many years as it's the oldest bakery in the area. The pasties maintain an excellent standard. The pastry is crunchy, not over fatty and the meat to veg. Content is good. The staff are friendly and one can eat in but the table space is limited.

WOW! Didnt know that when we walked in but it only enhanced our experience. Lovely little Pasty and cake shop right in the square. Trading since 1860 family owned business a good one to go to.

Whilst on holiday we stopped off for a quick lunch. Ladies behind counter were friendly and we were quickly served. A table was also quickly cleaned so we could sit down. Cheese and onion pasty and steak pasty was very tasty, warm and fairly priced.

If you're ever in Cornwall and you have to have a Cornish Pastie, Warrens Bakery in Falmouth is the place to go. I tried several pasties in our travels and I have to vote this place number one.
