Waltham Windmill Golf Club in North East Lincolnshire

We were delighted with the quality of the food that we received. We were part of a group of 30 and we opted for the halibut as our main course. It was delicious and along with the roast potatoes and vegetables, made for a great culinary experience.

Our party of 12 thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas get together for lunch. Food was amazing, only had main course and some had dessert, the front of house staff are exceptional, very friendly, attentive and super efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a refreshing change not to be rushed from our table, everyone in the party commented on the great customer service. This restaurant will be our ‘go to place’ for our get together in future.

Food was amazing, especially the carrots. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. Definitely would come again. Views of the golf course was beautiful.

Four of us went for Sunday Lunch, to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and the food, service and dining facilities were absolutely brilliant. Would highly recommend.

Great breakfast had what they call a 18 holer two of everything apparently they do a 9 holer I assume just single items. Anne and her team in the restaurant are the most friendly group you could ask to look after you Sam,kirsty were on duty the day we had the food. Very experienced as they have worked for WWGC for a number of years and it shows.

Food was super delicious. Place and setting very welcoming. But the staff were amazing, very friendly, helpful and nothing was a problem even when we cheekily asked for changes. And Kirsty was marvellous.

Great food and excellent surroundings Been before, just gets better. Looking forward to my next game of golf and lunch.

Best Sunday lunch I have had in a very long time. The beef was amazing, there was plenty of vegetables, Yorkshire pudding where home made and beautiful and the dessert, baileys crème brule was to die for. Will definitely be going back. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Service slow left waiting before acknowledged. Food starter mushrooms lukewarm Main Stroganoff sauce watery needed more body and seasoning again lukewarm.

I booked for a family birthday lunch and wow! Every part of the main course had wonderful individual flavour and the whole plate married together beautifully. An outstanding main meal and dessert - a chef of skill, an ambient atmosphere and friendly staff. I cannot remember the last time I had a meal of such excellent presentation and quality and I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I visited Waltham golf club with friends for a fish and chip night. The whole club desperately needs to be refurbished. The leather sofas was so worn that you did not want to sit on them. The place looked tired and uninviting. Though it was fish and chips The menu for alternative was so limited and had pannin on an evening menu. The previous chef was inspiring and his food well presented. I was going to go Thursday with some friends but now looking for an alternative venue to eat

Fantastic food for Valentines Evening with new chef, Jamie, and Helen. The rack of lamb followed by chocolate and orange cheesecake were just delicious. Well recommended

Greens looking very true and quick, fairways are cut perfect, the only criticism I have of this course is the bunkers lack a consistent depth of sand

We recently had a group outing to Waltham Windmill Golf Club, The course was in excellent condition , We enjoyed a coffee & bacon bun before our round, Our after golf meal was a Fish & Chip platter, superb piece of fish with mushy peas, & chips ( the chips were not the best, a bit hard !!) Staff excellent , lovely clubhouse and facilities. Highly Recommended.

A party of us went for Waltham Windmill golf club for a Christmas meal and were very pleased with the service, the food, and the decor. It was a. Very relaxing setting in our own room overlooking,ing the golf course.

I held my birthday party here for 80 people. The staff where amazing very helpful and friendly. I decided to go with the buffet menu which was delicious and plenty of it. The staff kept an eye on any dishes running low and restocked accordingly. The disco hired through the club was also very good played a good cross section of music for all tastes and not too loud so as to allow people to talk and be heard. The atmosphere in the room was lovely the club allowed us to decorate the 2 rooms we used and again helped when we forgot to take bluetac and sellotape. We have so impressed with the whole thing that we have joined the social side of the club. I would recommend using this venue.

The only thing great to talk about our competitive golf yesterday was the brilliant sunny weather (surprised?).The welcome was chaotic and confusion in the Pro. shop.Course: needs maintenance with no character to the fairways. The roughs were like wilderness.At one point we got a shock to see remains of the landing strip of Waltham Aerodrome from years ago.The food (steak pie and chips) could have been better if a chisel and mallet was available to get through the thick, hard pastry. In the past the catering has been awful and yesterday it was a repeat of my past experience.If etiquette wasn’t in vogue I would have gladly walked out after the round. Sadly I would never go there to eat anyway even with a free house membership.

My friend and myself visited for lunch and waited at least 15 minutes before getting any response from staff We then looked st menu and left Not a soul in sight in the Tim he we were there - will not be visiting again

went today for christmas dinner 40 people and what a dinner it was ,allgood food well cooked and served with a smile ,would thoroughly recommend the room was spotless tables nicely laid out with christmas crackers , fantastic

The staff here are so lovely, cannot do enough for you! We went for a family members birthday meal with 30 guests, and everything ran so smoothly! There was plenty of food to go around, and even more if you asked for it! The food was really nice, although the carrots were a bit hard (but that's if I'm being really picky)! I'd 100% recommend going here, a friendly atmosphere and they cater for any ages! Could do with having a bigger variety of vegetarian options.

Una excelente noche. Cocinar una variedad de alimentos para un gran número no significa feat. Mi compañero y yo tuvimos el salmón con salsa holandesa. Era una porción muy generosa cocinados a la perfección, es muy fácil pasar por alto el salmón. Todos los tamaños de la porción era generoso y todos los comensales elogiaron sus comidas. Las verduras eran frescos y bien cocinados. Los precios de las bebidas son muy económicos. Un lugar excelente, con buena comida.

Nunca hemos comido antes y estamos invitados a una cena de celebración en un amigos grupo de alrededor de 40 de nosotros. Las comidas eran ordenados y, como consecuencia, no nos ofrecieron el menú completo. Lo que, sin embargo estaba bien preparado y presentado y cada elemento está tan caliente como si acaba de salir del horno. Se hubiera beneficiado de un lado de salsa o salsa como la salsa que venía con la comida había desaparecido antes de terminar la mitad de lo que hizo el resto de la comida un poco seca, pero aparte de eso, fue una velada encantadora.

Estuve en el club después de muchos años lejos de la zona, y quedé muy impresionado con el campo y las instalaciones. Los árboles y alrededores en el campo son bien madurar, y las superficies de jugar están bien cuidadas. Sólo un bocadillo y cerveza después del partido; tanto de la más alta calidad, servido por un personal atento, y a un precio razonable. Espero volver el próximo año.

Hace poco visitamos Waltham Molino Golf Club (después de un intervalo de pocos años). Nos quedamos muy contentos con lo que vimos, y el campo que hemos disfrutado. Es un diseño muy bueno (Peter Alliss), buena mezcla de nivel 3/4/5, todos los hoyos interesantes, y los campos estaban en buenas condiciones excepcionalmente encargado (New Green de un club local cocida). Hay un poco de agua, pero tienes que ser malo para llegar. Perdí una pelota (en agua). No es excepcionalmente difícil, pero como es habitual mantener enseguida y lejos de las pistas bordeadas de árboles. Vale la pena una visita si viven a una distancia razonable, no le decepcionará. También hay algunos nuevos propiedad de calidad en todo el campo para mirar también. Terminamos con una pinta y un sándwich en limpio, ordenado bien presentado al club. (recomendamos que pruebe el Lager alemán!).

Jugó un partido de golf con amigos y estaba encantado de jugar en un campo bien cuidados. Algunos de los obstáculos de agua que tenía muy interesante. El clubhouse está impecable y la selección de buena comida. Tuve y puedo recomendar patatas fritas y guisantes blandos. abadejo Un excelente ambiente dentro y fuera del Clubhouse,

La casa del club, el personal (restaurante bar y pro shop) son muy acogedor. El campo de golf es una joya escondida en términos de lo bien que está cuidado y los greens son geniales. drena bien, así que golf de invierno todavía es bastante...

I took a group of friends from my golf club in Skegness for a day out to Waltham and what a wonderful day we all had.The welcome in the pro shop from Sue and the staff in the bar was very friendly and warm.We were able to tee off a little earlier than the allocated tee time which was great.We all really enjoyed the course especially the greens which were in superb conditions, running true and fast.The course is nicely manicured and everywhere looked neat & tidy. I would definitely recommend the course to my friends. Thank you for looking after us all so well.

We visited the Golf club restaurant to celebrate a family Wedding celebration meal. The setting was beautiful looking over the golf course with a private area for photos. Food consisted of a roast dinner and pudding which was well cooked and served. All staff were polite and friendly. The restaurant is open to non-members and we will recommend. bar prices were reasonable too.
