Walmley Golf Club in Birmingham

Had a fabulous day. Easy to park. Golf pro very helpful and what a fantastic course. Greens superb and beautifully laid out. Lots of dog legs to make you think. Not too much water. Members very friendly. A great hidden away gem . Not far from M 6 or M 42. Would certainly come back if passing near the area. Food was good too.

Food ok but not much choice. Service was very slow and we felt like we were not that welcome. Tasted ok, priced ok but you want to feel welcome and we all felt the same.

We were there for our friend's 50th Wedding Anniversary dinner early July. (selection on the box below for the visit date did not allow me to select JULY 2018) The buffet meal lay out and cleanliness was great. The food, especially the salmon was the best I have ever eaten, and the chocolate cake soft light and yum ..... great. Very friendly and very efficient staff - very professional in their approach.

I am a member of this club for the last 18 months and I have to say the course is just getting better every week. Hopefully the plans for future development will get the go ahead for the benefit of local people and groups.

There were 50 of us for a Sunday lunch. We had a choice of starters, mains and sweets, followed by coffee or tea. The service was great and the food was excellent. The only problem is you need a member to book the event.

One of the best if not the best club in Birmingham. Friendly atmosphere coupled with good facilities and a challenging course. What could be better

I have played in more than a dozen different West Midlands golf courses this year. None of them matched the presentation of Walmley. Congratulations to the green keeping team! There is not a dull hole on this course and all the staff are friendly and helpful.

Had a brilliant round here last week. Course was in amazing shape and perfect weather. Really great pro shop. Can't wait to play here again.

A first floor restaurant with a view out over a beautifully presented golf course in the New Hall valley, you could easily be distracted from the quality of the food prepared by French chef Pascal Parize and his team. Be it a snack lunch or a formal dinner, theres plenty on the menu to enjoy. Occasional themed functions are always sold out, a giant size paella pan being the star of the spanish nights. Italian specialities, new seasons Beaujolais celebrations, curry nights, hog roasts and even an Ascot Ladies Day are all on the calender.If you get the chance to visit Walmley Golf Club, be sure to make the most of a super golf course and some cracking food.
