Disappointed booked a table had to wait eventually got a table which the floor was covered in food my partner had finished her main before I had mine the area we got was like a creche complained at the end of the meal and was told we would be refunded, still waiting for our refund won't be going back

Always does what it says on the tin. The deserts are massive. There is a little play area for kids so if you want somewhere the kids can run about while you eat this could help ease families eating out. They have a large car park too which is free. Staff are what really make the place. They are always friendly and helpful when we have been and it's the main reason we have been back. Connie our server was lovely and helpful.

We had a lovely family meal at Wallacewell Farm, and we couldn’t have been happier. The carvery was outstanding – generous portions, beautifully cooked meats, and a great selection of vegetables. The kids enjoyed the ice cream bar, while my wife and I indulged in one of their delicious cakes. A true pub classic experience with a modern twist. We’ll definitely be back!

This order was delivered incorrectly. Farmhouse Inns need to pass food to delivery drivers corectly.

Like a cattle market on a Sunday..had to queue to get in the front door and that was just to pick up a prepaid takeaway. The queue inside for food was even longer. I've sat in here before when customers in the food queue are actually leaning on the edge now our table. Very stressful and far to busy on a Sunday afternoon.

The food was good but what let them down was they never delivered the cake which was the part both me and who the other meal was for was looking forward to they delivered the single cake for my daughter but forgot the others really???

We were there today for the breakfast buffet. A wee bit of a disappointment due to the lack of breakfast items being fresh and obtainable at the one time. Bacon at the time was hard as was the toast, there were no fried eggs or potato scones. So we had to make several trips for different items. The biggest problem was having to pay £4.99 for an 18 months child to eat one links sausage. We explained that the baby didn't eat much and would it be OK for her to have a small plate to share ours, only to be told that wasn't allowed, maybe best to not mention it and do it anyway, sometimes honesty isn't the best policy! I find that very unreasonable for a child of that age. To be fair the quality of the breakfast items ( if you could catch them all at the same time) were of a decent quality. Considering that we arrived at 10.15am you would think the foods would have all been fresh and available.

Have been here many times and never had a complaint. However the food last night was very poor. Ordered the Farmhouse Fish supper (which included fish, sausage and scampi), the first of which I sent back as it looked as though it ha been sitting under a hot plate for an hour. Service staff came out to explain that it had been cooked fresh, and if I still wanted it, it would be exactly the same. I did reorder it, under the privisal that it was definitely cooked fresh. But second order did indeed look exactly the same - Not golden and crispy the way a fish or sausage supper should look, but almost brown and when you cut into the fish or sausage, the batter just disintegrated into fine dark orange/brown crumbs. I really dont know how they managed to cook it so bad.....old oil, over heating, poor ingredients - who knows. Another thing I should point out, a sausage supper from a chippy is not just a regular sausage that has been deep fried with whatever they called the brown crumb stuff (defo not batter). And wholetail scampi made using processed scampi - is no longer wholetail scampi. Definitely wont be rushing back again in a hurry.

Always a great range of items on the carvery, food always really good, Brussel Sprouts were too hard. Shelby welcomed us and was very friendly and also came and asked us how our meal was.

The chip shop supper is usually excellent. And the all you can eat buffet was superb. Reasonable prices.

We where a very large group seen advert in social media say £2 pound pints ask at bar for which ones , no one knew anything said they weren't part of the the green king then handed us a card to do a review that state its green king

Been going here on and off over the past few years, I have discovered that service from staff is generally always good but at busy times food is dry and not what it should be, seems to be because it has been sitting under a hot plate/counter until staff can take orders to tables, top is to go when quiet.

Great food and friendly staff, special mention Haley who was very kind looking after us in our visit.

Prompt and polite service from Sophie to the table. Allowed us to substitute items from the all day breakfast. Large portion for the price. Only complaint is the app ordering was unavailable.

Order was delivered without the meat which every meal was a tray of veg no meat and it was the chef fault admitted on phone by manager put me off actually ever using this service again

Decor a bit tired, and some of the furniture not in great condition, but seemed clean enough. Food pretty standard for these types of places. But staff particularly friendly and helpful.

Farmhouse Inns seem to be one of the better national chains to eat at currently. Very reasonable prices and portion sizes are more than adequate. If going to Wallace Well Farm, best to book first as can get busy.

Ordered 4 meals then had to go to till they only brought 3 chips not cooked properly hard in the middle then Ordered dessert and that was also wrong ice cream full of ice not a pleasant visit

Gabriel did a great job and the food and service was smashing.

Delicious melt in your mouth carvery meat veg and sauces.. Had turkey with cranberry sauce, roast beef with apple sauce, roast parsnips and roast potatoes oh not forgetting Yorkshire pudding 😋

A great venue for a family meal with reasonable prices and helpful attentive staff. If you require a quieter meal book the area away from the family section.

Lovely Sunday lunch, both had the macaroni cheese, really nice, not heavy. Definitely get it again. No need for chips. Some drinks with lunch £25 definitely worth it for 2. Served by Maggie, lgreat waitress, very attentive. Nice friendly atmosphere.

We came for the first time to the carvery which was lovely, fresh vegetables and tasted great, we were served by Karen who is new to the team but is happy and helpful, the star of the show was definitely the cake, it tasted like manan from heaven, definitely recommend

Found food to be average, not to badly priced but not best tasting, kids where running about screaming and throwing items on our visit, which totally spoiled visit, staff just ignored this behaviour as did parents

The Yorkshire puddings were freezing cold got new warm ones. The cauliflower cheese was also cold and the gravy was very watery not one of the best days there.

Sophie really helpful - carvery ran out of pigs and blankets and she made sure we got a plate full brought to our table when the next batch was ready!
