Only a quick visit had a pint of Fosters at reasonable price attentive staff pity about the Australian screens was there for 20 years my best mate John Jones of Springwood NSW died of Ps/Ms/Motor neurons disease known him since 15 then he emirgated there when he was 21 no one could go to the funeral last September I drink to him ever time! What about fixing the screens since the Euros footy!

Excellent venue in Chelmsford for sport! Great prices on drinks. The staff are very professional, friendly, and respectful. Management is good and they offer discounts via an app. It can get busy on major sporting events but that’s normal for a successful pub. I highly recommend this bar.

Food nice but quite pricy for what it is. Cocktails tasted very watered down. The ladies toilet was like a dungeon, I had to use the torch on my phone to pee! One tiny light above the sinks, none in the cubicles at all! Awful!

2.50 a pint and football on TV can't beat it

Served me food I'm allergic to, got my order wrong three times and then decided to refuse to give me what I ordered.

Booked to watch the England game for Euros. Carl the manager looked after us so well. All staff friendly, brilliant atmosphere and fun venue to watch the match.

Went there to watch a football match, quite a good place to go to watch the football. Numerous screens with different matches if more than one at the same time. Food was ok, but they took a long time to bring the food to the table. Price quite ok!

Service is always slow. Toilets on busy nights are often in a state with the perfume man nicking all the toilet paper. Beers are cheap is the best part.

Krissy was the best barmen ever. Here for the bottomless and got us all to pay £30 x

Nice place for sports, not sure about food I had wings they were average. Drinks fairly reasonably priced. Great manager named Carl sorted us out for the night.

I had a really lovely time. I had the chicken burger with the old faithful topping with waffle fries, it totally hit the spot! The staff were gorgeous and lovely, Kris took really good care of us and I will recommend it to all my local friends and I hope to come down again soon!

Always a good time at the Walkabout! Tasty burger with n’duja and would recommend the waffle fries too. Krissy is such a personality and made us feel so welcome. Can’t wait until the next time we visit!

Door staff very rude. Over-booked pub and the table we booked was near the front door and they insisted on keeping the doors open. We asked very politely to shut them which they agreed to and then admitted to lying because they weren’t going to shut the doors. Had to sit wearing coats all night, not enjoying or welcoming at all

Walkabout bar offered a decent experience. While the atmosphere was lively, service and food were average. Good for a casual night out with friends.

Good sports bar with plenty of large screens. Limited ale choices, mainly lagers on tap.

I must say, I hadn’t been to a Walkabout in many years, but we popped in on a whim the other day and had a genuinely really good time! Big shout outs to the nduja burger which was delish, and to Krissy from the bar team who was a total sweetie and made us giggle all evening. We will be back!

Krissy was an absolute star from start finish, really made the experience for my nan’s 80th the best. Can’t wait to have another few doubles next time!

Came and watched the arsenal vs Liverpool game and for the first time, the atmosphere was great and definitely would go again! Carl was very easy to talk to regarding my table booking. Thanks for having us, we’ll be back for sure! :)

Wow! What a phenomenal Walkabout, Stonegate have done it again!!! Service from Erena was absolutely incredible never had such passion and joy from a hospitality worker- she is made for the place! Unbelievable atmosphere and perfect bar service, what a venue! It may be the second best Walkabout in Essex but it’s still brilliant nonetheless! Bravo 👏🏻

Had our Christmas work party here for 26 people. We had the Xmas buffet food which was tasty and a great variety. The venue manager and all staff were so helpful and friendly and really made the night the great success it was. Our area was set out very nicely too with crackers, hats and walkabout merch! Thank you for having us!

Shocking we paid for our drinks and the change that was given was two fake 5 pound notes when we challenged the manager he told us that we were lying and that it was real we showed him it wasn't he was then rather unpleasant and told us to drink the drinks and leave all because we told him that he was handing out fake money, keep your eyes peeled for this people. Had a lovely time with some friends the other day ! Was our first time at this place and got recommended it by a friend , definitely wasn't disappointed!! The service, food and atmosphere was amazing and Shona did an amazing job honestly made our time there much more pleasant !! Highly recommend

I’ve never been before but decided to pop in for some food and drinks a couple of weeks ago and had the best time! The food was lovely and the lady serving us was lovely and kept checking up on us to make sure we were enjoying our time out! I think her name was Shona and thanks to her we will definitely be coming back!!

Had a perfect burger and pint last week, Shona was really friendly and nice with helping us pick the right food!

Waited 40 mins for food which when it eventually arrived was barely warm. Spoke to a member of staff about it, no apology. Just said it must be because we are busy - rubbish there was 4 tables in use when order was initially placed. Others ordered food after us but received it before! Utterly rubbish, would not recommend at all!
