Should be in Temple Bar over priced tourist trap. The discount card needs trading standards attention. Don't bother!!!

The statement that this venue has highchairs should be removed as we were informed on arrival at 12pm on a sunday (hoping for a casual and fun aussie themed lunch), that they are over 18s only. The place was empty.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Walkabout that left me feeling discriminated against. As someone with autism, I have sensory issues that make certain types of clothing, like tracksuit bottoms, much more comfortable for me. Unfortunately, upon arriving at Walkabout, I was informed that tracksuit bottoms were not allowed due to their dress code. I tried to explain my situation to the bouncer, hoping they might make an exception given my circumstances. While he seemed to understand, he said it was not part of their policy to allow it. He even consulted with his boss, who also refused to make any accommodation. This experience was incredibly frustrating and disheartening. Not all disabilities are visible, and businesses should be more considerate of this fact. The refusal to make an exception, even with proof of my disability, felt like blatant discrimination. It's 2024, and it’s disappointing to see that some places still lack understanding and flexibility when it comes to accommodating individuals with disabilities. I expected better from a place that should be welcoming to all. Sadly, this experience has ensured that I won’t be returning to Walkabout, and I cannot recommend it to anyone who values inclusivity and understanding.

At 12pm told us we couldn’t go in with two kids as they are 18+ only sports bar. Shame, had a craving for an Aussie atmosphere and a VB. Not ‘straya spirit mate, two of our party had mullets 🙃

Considering it was a Saturday afternoon the service by Carissa was outstanding and the food came quickly and was still hot. I would recommend you popping in.

Excellent night out Friendly staff Clean and tidy

Had a brilliant time watching the England vs Switzerland match. The pub was absolutely packed, but we managed to get served pretty quickly, so kudos to the staff! The toilets were starting to get a bit manky towards the end of the game, but once the place quietened down, the staff were on it a d cleaning them up. The ultimate perk about this pub is the "disco" in the ladies toilets! What a brilliant idea 😂

Attended Walkabout Blackpool and the service was brilliant. Very modern and clean. DJ was awesome! A good variety of drinks all reasonably priced. Upstairs outside area was brilliant with a perfect view of the beach. A must if you’re visiting Blackpool. Definitely visit again.

popped in as was on a night out for a few drinks, wasnt that busy however was a Tuesday night so not many places are busy during the week. The place was nice and clean drinks were fresh and crisp. Got a seat by the window overlooking the sea which was great watching the sunset, before heading the next place. Staff i came across were friendly and happy.

As Iocal lass n wanted to see the refit I was looking forward to this place n even twisted my husband arm to go in this place on a Monday night for a drink for a change !!wish I didn’t bother. Yes the place was quiet but that wasn’t the problem .the problem was with the rude lady/staff barmaid behind the bar !more interested in her self n what her friends had to say behind the bar !she wouldn’t give us our full order of vodka n tonic n left half of the bottle behind the bar to which we was going to pay for !

This was a fantastic bar for drinking, with a colourful design! The area is large and features lighting to go along with the design, counter is well presented too. Staff were lovely and I enjoyed a pint of Heineken, sitting at comfortable seating!

Prices were nice and reasonable, friendly staff, doorstaff were helpful and nice. Stayed for the evening, music was decent and loud but not too loud

The floor is the wet and slippery I was stood there went to walk to the bar and fell broke my leg and really badly hurt my foot I have no feeling in my foot what ever I need the cctv keeping coz am going sue you I have tried phoning to speak to someone and my friend emailed the bouncers was so rude also will not be being back they definitely need wet floor signs

We went past their..went to bar 19. Two doors down. We only went past because two guys having ago at security Staff and was Bocking the entrance to the walkabout pub..Next time will give it a visit....

Booked a group table to watch the Cheltenham races today. Easy to book and specified we wanted to watch races so had a table by tv and they changed channel as requested. Website states that it's the place to go to watch the races, however they refused to entertain putting the sound on for it. The pub was empty apart from us. We left after the first race. Disappointing service for an empty place.

Sports bar with loads of TVs, beer was ok but served in a plastic glass, called early on a Friday night so probably got lively later on

We came for a Birthday night out on the 10th Feb 24! And what a night it was! We planned to bar hop all night but ended up staying here all night! Atmosphere was amazing! The DJ was fantastic, his mixes were too good! And he was so entertaining, really made the effort with everyone! The club itself was large enough to feel busy but still enjoyable, having two floors was great and compared to the walkabout in Manchester Printworks, this is hands down the better of the two! And who doesn't love a disco toilet!! Fantastic Night! Bouncers were great aswell! Can't wait to return!

Always love going to walkabout used to go to the one in Liverpool went to the Blackpool one tonight paid 3 quid to get in to listen to a homophobic dj I’m not gay but some of the people I was with were I said what do you care what a aging dj says but they felt uncomfortable and we left shame on you in this day and age losers

Went there on 29th December and it was definitely the worst pint of lager I have ever had in my life, £6.20 for a pint of what was meant to be Peroni, it tasted like something from the urinal absolutely disgusting, the staff looked really depressed and I had trouble leaving the place coz my shoes were stuck to the floor, having lived in Blackpool all my life and having visited the walkabout several times I can say with confidence that it has gone down hill severely and I will never go back, shame on the owners for being so greedy and putting profit over quality, I will be contacting CAMRA!

Absolutely disgusting pint of peroni, £6.20 for a pint of peroni which tasted like watered down fosters! The barmaid was really miserable and the only highlight was the doormen and leaving the place

Not a bad place busy on a Friday night

Loved it here. Could have stayed all night but we had a karaoke lover with us so we left.

Very quite in there but good beer.

It needs a good paint and clean. We had fun upstairs at a private party. We had security stopping people going up to our party. The buffet was plentiful and was the normal type of buffet food. The music was VERY LOUD so having conversations was difficult. The DJ was great with a mix of party music to get everyone up dancing. He also had a snow machine ❄️ After we went downstairs and it was so busy you couldn’t move. It felt very claustrophobic. Outside there were some really drunk leery men which was uncomfortable.

its a great venue to have family meal even go with friends polite staff and very friendly and great night iut the dj will play songs if you ask and do shout outs perfect place for a great all day venue and staff are helpful and friendly

Nice atmosphere,very polite and cheerful staff...never had or seen any problems in there.

DJ's are great and the bar staff are friendly and helpful. Gets busy later on , especially at weekends. Would of stayed longer but feel uncomfortable using the toilets because of the man who sits in there trying to get money from you when you go to wash your hands. Some people have medical conditions that necessitates going to the toilets regularly. It's embarrassing when someone is camped in there when you need to do your private business. If he wants to sell aftershave then set up outside the toilet, not inside where it's intrusive.

Visited as part of a group and left shortly after as most people already there was on drugs and as a group felt like something bad was going to happen. Been in the past and it’s been fine but last night was uncomfortable.

Didn't eat in here so can't rate the food went in around 6.30pm on a Friday was a bit quiet but heard it gets good later on an is open till 4am who doesn't love a bar open till 4am

Had a great night in Walkabout played the Tuesday night music bingo games and won some drinks to boot.

Terrible meal cold and very small portions sent back only to be cold again had to have money back but would of rather of had food

Visited this place to watch the Tyson Fury fight, the place was packed with a great atmosphere. Major gripe was that my wife said there was no toilet roll in any of the ladies toilets. Small things like this can make a big difference and a pub that doesn't look after the ladies won't fare well.

Walkabout has always been a huge part of my nights out in Blackpool bar and door staff always great, love the place.

Great music, great atmosphere not badly priced..

A quiet restaurant that needs more recognition. The food was exceptional, the sharing platters really good value for money. Food for four and four drinks for £30. What more can you say. Staff were good, accomodating allergies without question. Atmosphere was comforting as we arrived soaked after a very heavy downfall, but soon dried out.

Watching footy… lots of screens and variety. Caters for everyone and importantly football takes priority over rugby!

Very unhappy with how me and my mates was treated by security he grabbed my mate I told him to get off him resulting in him saying I was being violent even tho I didn’t touch anyone and being grabbed by the neck and being dragged out when I asked for his name he refused to give it to me and when I said I’m not leaving without a name he decided to threaten to put me to the floor my mate had black eyes and missing teeth I wanted to write this review so hopefully someone sees this and gets it sorted they also proceeded to tell us to back to our own country definitely don’t recommend

It's the only walkabout chain I've been in where it's like a nightclub, open very late. Superb atmosphere. Upstairs plays different music if you fancy a change. Visited 2 nights in a row

All good in the main. Great place to watch the sport. Bar staff were very friendly and helpful. The reason I only gave 4 🌟 is the wonderfully miserable attitude of the security staff. A smile costs nothing! 😊

Came here to watch a game with the lads and came back for when it picked up in the evening. Definitely the spot to go to for good food, a nice pint and friendly staff that went above and beyond to make my experience here amazing. So blown away from everything, wasn't expecting an Australian bar like this to be so good. If i ever come back to blackpool i know the first place im going to go for a Mac&Cheese Burger.
