Walkabout in Blackpool

It's 00:58am Im in a half empty bar where I was searched by 3 separate members of staff on entry. Only to enter a bar full of under age children on drugs. Like literally off their faces on various substances. Who exactly is responsible of monitoring this fiasco. I returned as part of a repeated mystery shopper experience and was told by my manager in a mes5to post in real time about how it was after the last time and then the "food" fiasco previously to that. My only good point is the female member of bar staff that was excellent

The bottomless brunch was fantastic drinks always coming to the table by Chris and vann the food was 10/10 Then at 9 when the DJ came my evening was made, he had all the right tunes playing Evan got games involved that guy knows how the carry a room the atmosphere was 10/10 from dancing, to singing, I had no voice the morning after which must be a result of a fantastic evening.

Great atmosphere but staff repeatedly incorrectly charging for full sugar coke when ordered and given diet.

Honestly, this is one of the best places I've DJed in. I know they do a different themed night each day of the week but mad Monday and Saturdays before 9pm are wild! The staff are always more than accommodating and I always have the best time here. I hope everyone else does too! Environment 10/10: staff 10/10/ overall vibes - amazing

Drinks are expensive and the atmosphere is boring (late night)

My server Chris was amazing during my service and he pours a mean pint. I had the classic melt burger and it was amazing.

Really good DJ with a great stylist. great service and friendly bar staff. I loved the chicken melt burger and cheap drinks.

Not a bad place. Was here for a do, so we had the whole of the upstairs. Can't fault the service on the bars.

We thoroughly enjoyed our bottomless brunch. Chris made sure that we constantly had drinks on our table and was friendly and efficient. The cocktails were amazing, the food was delicious and we loved the atmosphere in Walkabout. Will be back for another one soon!

Clarissa looked after our group of 5 as soon as we entered the place, one of the ladies was celiac and she made sure she was catered for. She was very attentive to our care and replenished our glasses whenever they were empty. I would like to see a " Clarissa " in every establishment that serves alcohol and food. 10/10 service. Amazing food and service by both Aidan and Carissa, we have been here twice now for a bottomless brunch and we cannot fault it in the slightest!

La música estaba en el lugar, con una gran mezcla que mantuvo a todos en la pista de baile. Las bebidas tenían un precio razonable, y el personal era amable y rápido incluso cuando estaba ocupado. Todo el lugar tenía un ambiente divertido y animado. Perfecto para una noche con amigos. Bailamos, nos reímos y no queríamos que la noche terminara. Sin duda uno de los mejores lugares en Blackpool para una buena noche!

Great place for a night out - drinks very reasonably priced and service was top. The atmosphere is lively, good place to watch live sport as well as being a brilliant late night venue. DJ was on his game too.

Cracking spot for a night out with mates, coming in during the day for a bite, or to come catch some live sport. Atmosphere was a really nice vibe, and the staff were lovely and personable. Plays good music all day.

Absolutely shocking called in for a drink and to watch football £6.15 a pint which ok that’s fine but then served it in plastic glass - if bar man had said that I’d have picked a different beer

Fantastic service from Jamie and aidan. Quick with drinks definitely got our moneys worth and the food was fantastic.

A big shout out to Jaimee who made our bottomless brunch amazing! Very friendly and attentive. We didn't have to ask for a drink once, no waiting around at the bar either. Drinks were very nice, as was the food. I had the chicken parmo which was very tasty. Thank you 😊

Another epic night out in Walkabout, food was delicious. The DJ's music selection was on point. Staff were amazing and efficient. Will definitely be going back soon

10/10 - would recommend. It has a great atmosphere and the staff are really nice. I love watching the sport here during the daytime and it is my favourite night time spot when I go out. If you're feeling peckish the new menu they have is really decent aswell, my favourite being the chicken pami

We came here for my friends Birthday. We did one of the Bottomless brunches as we heard they were good. We were not disappointed. I didn't catch the name of the person serving us but they made the experience. They were great! I also loved the fact that it was a Saturday afternoon and they had a DJ on. It was a great way for us to start our night out and we all ended up back in there later in the night! Highly recommend

It's one of the busier venues in Blackpool for nightlife. Its a great bar to go out in, we always have a great night. With so many bartenders we always get served promptly and the service is good. Mad Mondays are one of our favorite nights to go out with good deals on drinks and shots

Freezing cold pub heating not working wasn't informed till after we had eating food coverd in sauce after asking it to be put in side dish

I come in quite often and love this place! Drinks are reasonably priced. Staff are beyond friendly and a great laugh’ The Parmi tho delicious

Me and my friends had a great time here. We went for a night out and just loved the vibes in Walkabout! It was one of the busiest places that we found here in Blackpool and we spent a lot of time here. Definitely recommend and hope we will be back soon!

Walkabout blackpool, that is how it is, food spectacular, drinks served effectively and a decent price, served with a smile.

I had the beef melt burger and a pint of coke. The food was delicious and well priced. The staff were great and I loved the day time atmosphere. Highly recommend

Came for bottomless brunch for our Christmas works do and our server Chris was amazing! He was really quick getting us drinks and was so polite and friendly. Great service and food 😊

The toilets r absolutely immaculate.

Very expensive 19.80 for 2 beers and 2 bacardi coke when I quired that they advertise 2pound all drinks after 9pm was told not on beer or bacardis what a rip of and plastic glasses for 20 quid a round shocking never again avoid

Had the bottomless brunch 😋 it was fantastic value for money. There were 18 of us in our party, and the service was fantastic. The food was excellent.

Had an amazing time at bottomless brunch on Friday. Jamie our server (for a second time) was fantastic, never an empty cup on the table. She made the experience wonderful as usual. Will be back for more in future! :)

Me and my husband went to the walk about in blackpool for a sharer for 2 and 6 bottles of beer which we had a gift voucher for! When we arrived we was greeted by Chris from behind the bar, he took us to our reserved booth and couldn't have been more helpful, he brought our drinks to the table and when the food arrived all I can say is wow!! So much food and it's was delicious definitely recommend the buffalo chicken wings i think i ate mh own body weight in wings 😋 our experience in the walk about was great and made so much better by Chris who was amazing! Keep up the good work guys 😁

Absolutely great place, came blackpool for a 2 night stay with my wife and newly 18 year old daughter, popped in here as we was passing, bouncers, bar staff and other drinkers were very friendly, we ended up in here for the whole 2 nights and we had a fabulous time, daughter made friends with some great people thankyou walkabout for making our first time out with our daughter very special, we will definitely be coming back.

Great vibes, staff were very pleasant and a good laugh. Easily spent the whole night there. DJs had a good range of music available. Will be going again

We had brunch and wow it was so worth the money. The drinks were a great selection and the food was massive portions. Calum was our server and he was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him. Had a great night with family would definitely go again.

Came here to watch the Football - We enjoyed watching it here, they had a decent sized projector playing the game and the drinks were well priced.

Loved the new bottomless brunch. We loved the range of cocktails and how good the staff were with us. Normally when we go in walkabout, it's a lot later in the night but honestly, going in earlier for some food and bottemless drinks earlier was a vibe and started a great night out :)

Not even worth the one star! The doormen are bully's horrible horrible people! Do not recommend at all! Plenty of other better places in Blackpool

This place is brilliant for for sport with multiple big screens. We came to watch the Football on Sunday and tried the new menu, food was really good and the staff we're extremely friendly. I would recommend this bar to anyone.

There is absolutely no way this place should be advertised as a sports bar. It is basically a club with screens, sub standard food and deafening music. Not recommended if you want to watch football!!

The statement that this venue has highchairs should be removed as we were informed on arrival at 12pm on a sunday (hoping for a casual and fun aussie themed lunch), that they are over 18s only. The place was empty.

At 12pm told us we couldn’t go in with two kids as they are 18+ only sports bar. Shame, had a craving for an Aussie atmosphere and a VB. Not ‘straya spirit mate, two of our party had mullets 🙃

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Walkabout that left me feeling discriminated against. As someone with autism, I have sensory issues that make certain types of clothing, like tracksuit bottoms, much more comfortable for me. Unfortunately, upon arriving at Walkabout, I was informed that tracksuit bottoms were not allowed due to their dress code. I tried to explain my situation to the bouncer, hoping they might make an exception given my circumstances. While he seemed to understand, he said it was not part of their policy to allow it. He even consulted with his boss, who also refused to make any accommodation. This experience was incredibly frustrating and disheartening. Not all disabilities are visible, and businesses should be more considerate of this fact. The refusal to make an exception, even with proof of my disability, felt like blatant discrimination. It's 2024, and it’s disappointing to see that some places still lack understanding and flexibility when it comes to accommodating individuals with disabilities. I expected better from a place that should be welcoming to all. Sadly, this experience has ensured that I won’t be returning to Walkabout, and I cannot recommend it to anyone who values inclusivity and understanding.

Excellent night out Friendly staff Clean and tidy

Had a brilliant time watching the England vs Switzerland match. The pub was absolutely packed, but we managed to get served pretty quickly, so kudos to the staff! The toilets were starting to get a bit manky towards the end of the game, but once the place quietened down, the staff were on it a d cleaning them up. The ultimate perk about this pub is the "disco" in the ladies toilets! What a brilliant idea 😂

Attended Walkabout Blackpool and the service was brilliant. Very modern and clean. DJ was awesome! A good variety of drinks all reasonably priced. Upstairs outside area was brilliant with a perfect view of the beach. A must if you’re visiting Blackpool. Definitely visit again.

popped in as was on a night out for a few drinks, wasnt that busy however was a Tuesday night so not many places are busy during the week. The place was nice and clean drinks were fresh and crisp. Got a seat by the window overlooking the sea which was great watching the sunset, before heading the next place. Staff i came across were friendly and happy.

As Iocal lass n wanted to see the refit I was looking forward to this place n even twisted my husband arm to go in this place on a Monday night for a drink for a change !!wish I didn’t bother. Yes the place was quiet but that wasn’t the problem .the problem was with the rude lady/staff barmaid behind the bar !more interested in her self n what her friends had to say behind the bar !she wouldn’t give us our full order of vodka n tonic n left half of the bottle behind the bar to which we was going to pay for !

This was a fantastic bar for drinking, with a colourful design! The area is large and features lighting to go along with the design, counter is well presented too. Staff were lovely and I enjoyed a pint of Heineken, sitting at comfortable seating!

The floor is the wet and slippery I was stood there went to walk to the bar and fell broke my leg and really badly hurt my foot I have no feeling in my foot what ever I need the cctv keeping coz am going sue you I have tried phoning to speak to someone and my friend emailed the bouncers was so rude also will not be being back they definitely need wet floor signs

Booked a group table to watch the Cheltenham races today. Easy to book and specified we wanted to watch races so had a table by tv and they changed channel as requested. Website states that it's the place to go to watch the races, however they refused to entertain putting the sound on for it. The pub was empty apart from us. We left after the first race. Disappointing service for an empty place.

Sports bar with loads of TVs, beer was ok but served in a plastic glass, called early on a Friday night so probably got lively later on

We came for a Birthday night out on the 10th Feb 24! And what a night it was! We planned to bar hop all night but ended up staying here all night! Atmosphere was amazing! The DJ was fantastic, his mixes were too good! And he was so entertaining, really made the effort with everyone! The club itself was large enough to feel busy but still enjoyable, having two floors was great and compared to the walkabout in Manchester Printworks, this is hands down the better of the two! And who doesn't love a disco toilet!! Fantastic Night! Bouncers were great aswell! Can't wait to return!
