Been going to this place for many many years now. Food always good with the exception of one time in autumn 2023 when the food was shockingly bad (both fish and chips). However, given the number of times going we thought we would give it another try and food has returned to the usual standard. Meal sizes have reduced quite a bit, but this ie the case with most places! One problem with this chippy has always been eating time - they are quick to start hinting for you to leave as soon as you have finished your last mouthful, over the last few years though, this has become worse. Yesterday's experience was awful. A group of 8 of us, and they started removing our plates and cups before we had all finished eating and drinking, then to top it off, they sent another family to take our place whilst we were still sat there. So we were forced out of our seats before ready, any debate over buying desserts was taken out of our hands and we had to try and grab the kids and all our belongings and sort at the main door between people coming in and out. This appalling level of customer service is the final straw for us going, which is disappointing after over a decade of going to the chippy.

Great fish and chips, they have remodelled since our last visit and some of the tables are a bit squashed together. Cakes were amazing as always. Was quiet when we arrived but started to get busy around 6pm

Lovely cafe opposite Bispham tram stop. Good friendly atmosphere , lots of choice on the menu , I had the steak pie and chips at £9.40 , plenty of tender steak in the pie and lots of tasty chips. Wasn't busy and the service was fast.i also had an apple tart which was very nice . Friendly staff as well. The cafe is the same as Cleveleys kitchen which I have been to many times and never been disappointed. Very much recommended

Family tradition to have tea before the lights, lovely place with great food, never once been disappointed in the 14 years we've been going..

Great Fish and Chip Restaurant and a Great Home Made Steak Pudding. Only had the Fish and Chips once because I love the steak pudding. Do yourself a favour and TRY the pudding. YOU COULD DO A LOT WORSE.

The staff couldn’t have been more miserable, it was like a chore to serve us. The small fish and chips was laughable, the regular was barely an adult portion. The curry sauces came in various sizes of gravy boats, the sausages were smart price sausages. Whilst the food was okay, the whole experience was ruined by the staff and portion sizes.

Excellent curry sauce went down hill from there. Every potion was so small. Mushy peas were very cold not warm. Cheapest sausage ever made. Pay 50 GBP then being ask to buy Tomato ketchup at 20p a shash. Compared to the Ball Room in Whitley Bay this is not worth a visit. Order was messed up 4 times before we could all eat. Poor very poor

Excellent family ran chippy. Lovely meet and greet, shown to our table, ordered haddock and chips that were cooked to perfection, ample curry sauce. Scampi was so moist and delicious, small appetite sausage and chips was also very good and value for money. Overall I could not fault the place. I didn’t need to buy any sauce, but those who moan about it take your own next time.

Amazing steak puddings! Best ever. Fish and chips are excellent too. Busy in the summer but very quiet on weekday lunchtimes. Staff are always pleasant and food arrives quickly and piping hot. Amazing puddings and desserts, if you can fit one in!

A very popular fish and chip restaurant that offers plenty of non sea options including some amazing desserts. Fish and chips come in varying sizes and were superb and very fresh. Very well organised ordering system at the bar. You may have to queue to get in but it is worth it.

Beware cash only. Food is excellent. Deserts look awesome, but never managed one yet. Staff are friendly and helpful, but they are busy at peak times. Very busy! we will be back!

If you've walked from Blackpool centre to Bispham treat yourself to a rest at Bispham kitchen. Good value and great service.

The BISPHAM KITCHEN is out of this world. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly. Good choice on the menu. The whole place was spotless. My wife and myself were only in Blackpool for 2 nights but we went here about 3-4 times for tea and dinner it was excellent every time. Thank you to the staff and keep the good work up.

Met friends here and had a lovely roast chicken meal. Value for money and good service. Called again for the fish and chips and again the meal was lovely will recommend.

Lovely food here, value is about the usual, just wish the fish and chips came with mushy peas as you have to buy these separate. The cakes are good value, staff are friendly and it always looks clean as the tables are cleaned as soon as people leave.

If you are wanting a proper traditional chippy then this is the place to go, gorgeous, fresh cooked meals, and amazing looking cakes, I've not tried a cake yet, im always to full after my chips

Was pleasantly surprised. What a lovely clean relaxed place .. always drove last and never thought to go in went today got the small portion food which was fab cant complain. The cake selection 😍 I couldn't leave without having one . I will be going back with the kids at some point . Definitly worth a visit if your in or around the area . Update went today wasnt good thenfood was awful as sad as i feel to now say this i dont know whats happened since i last went i left my food. Im not one for wasting food

Food was really good. Ordered tea for two as did our friends. After one pot for two arrived we had to ask for the other. Tea pot and milk jug were filled as full as possible making it a messy pour. All staff look like they need a course of antidepressants which was quite infectious. Must be a horrendous place to work. I would avoid and never recommend as I have in the past.

Food was tasty enough and hot so that was not a problem. My only concern was the way the breakfast was described. When I ordered they described it as a Big Breakfast so naturally I'm thinking I'm going to be a decent meal. But was a wee bit disappointed when it did come out. 1 egg, 1 tomato, 2 sausage not massive, 2 slice of bacon and some beans. As I say all tasty enough but disappointed that it was described as big and should just be advertised as breakfast.

Fantastic place to visit delicious food and very helpful staff.

Fantastic meal and pudding at the Bispham Kitchen today. We came a few years ago and it was really good that time too. Really good service and good pricing. When we went past this evening to join the line of traffic to go through the lights, people were queuing out of the door for a table, which is testament to how nice an establishment it is. We’ll certainly return in the future.

Had evening meal here, the staff went above and beyond. My friend and I are on the Slimming World plan. The staff made sure our meal was just as we requested. The food was fresh, hot, and good value for money. The place itself is lovely and clean. We will call back next time we are in the area. Thank you to all the staff that looked after us.

Had the chicken pie.it was very dry puff pastry hard and only had 2 small pieces of chicken in it

We were seated very quickly, staff were very knowledgeable on all food varieties. Meals were served quickly. Very enjoyable experience 🤗

This is the ideal place to stop off for that snack or for something more substantial. The cakes are to die for. The largest custard slice that I have ever seen. The staff are so very friendly welcoming you in. The seating is very comfortable and the whole restaurant is very clean and tidy. I can recommend it to all without hesitation.

Do NOT Eat Here! Very expensive and poorly cooked food, not to mention the service. The girl who served us needs to learn to smile. She was looking at us as if she wanted to bite our heads off, as if she were forced to be there and serve people. £9 for a coffee and breakfast, not much on the plate, and the sausages looked like they were made by a printer. Disgusted, never come back here again. For that price, you can go to De Vere and have Continental breakfast, which is fantastic.

The place was large, and the food was OK, but there was nothing to rave about. Gave free slice of bread and butter with each meal.

We went in for some food & when we went in they showed us to a table and when we ordered they was looking like they shutting but didn’t tell us they took the money brought out the food that was not very nice and got order wrong… I didn’t feel like eating my food because they was stood at the counter in their coats so made us super uncomfortable they should have said when we ordered we could only have drinks they also kept looking at us so we left won’t be returning was frozen chips

breakfast was horrid sausage looked and tasted cheap and undercooked and the egg looked as if it was cooked in a microwave

The atmosphere and service was ok (service was more self service which is not designed correctly for the layout asnyou have to move people queueing or walk through people eating to then join the queue if your seated to the right side of the restaurant, and if your seated tk the left you have to push past the queue to get out. The food was OK, definitely not priced correctly for the quantity and when you ordered the moby dick, I expected a huge fish. I got a bigger fish in Bradford called a large for half the price at what is the best chip shop in Yorkshire. So something needs a rethink there.

Good place to get fish and chips whilst in Blackpool in a quieter location. Prices where quite high but this is what you expect in a town such as this

The lamb dinner, oh god the lamb dinner, throw everything on a plate and microwave it. A tenner not well spent. The potatoes looked like they had been in the fridge for a week then reheated , it really was a terrible meal, stick to fish and chips guys.

Had a family get together last Sunday staff were really nice and helpful. Meal was lovely and atmosphere fabulous. One member of staff even took a photo of us all. Thank you to everyone for.making our visit enjoyable.

Awful small fish and chips. They were some of the worst Ive had. The fish was greasy and chips hard and tasteless. Peas and tea were nice. Gutted I wasted £20!

I ordered leg of lamb Called home roasted it came it was 3 medium slices of lamb The gravy was frazzled at the side of the plate Indicates that it just come out of. The micro wave On asking the tall young black hair waitress About home roasted leg of lamb and pointing out this to her Her reply was ( you don’t have to worry about that ) but I ordered a leg of lamb not slice She just walked off Yes I did eat this it was a micro wave meal

Fish was very greasy and half of the chips werent cooked, waste of money.

Chips dry , fish not the best I've ever had, grease on plate , it's below average, peas were fine bread and butter nice . Overall, I would not recommend and will not go back it was supposed to be treat .not a disappointment .

What a fantastic cafe this place is. The staff were welcoming and the service was top notch. The food was delicious. I had the fish and chips with mushy peas and would highly recommend this dish.

Latte , Scone cream and jam £8.20 . £2.70 for scone and was charged £2 for jam and cream . I'll do without next time thankyou.

Being a celiac i asked what cakes were available. Was told meringues. I mentioned that the meringues are contaminated dues to being on the same plate as chocolate éclairs and touching So was told they are aren't then. If I hadn't mentioned it I was be ill now. Clearly there is no understanding of celiac disease and the issues it can cause. LIKE CANCERS

Disappointing visit. Came after the air show and havent been for years but had always thought it had a good reputation and looks nice from outside and had plenty of tables. Seated ourselves and ordered from the till. The service was a little confusing as asked to order drinks first and then went to another lady who asked for your order. Drinks were left at the side to be collected but I heard two lots of people say these aren’t ours and the staff were unsure who their drinks tray had been given to. We were given cutlery on the tray but needed more and there were numerous cutlery plastics trays dotted around, all of which empty. I had to ask for straws and spoons as I couldn’t locate any and cutlery given didn’t include spoons. The food arrived quickly but was so disappointing for an actual fish and chip shop. My small portion was tiny. Around 15 chips and a tiny fish. Lots of the plate was visible and for over £5 I thought this was ridiculous, especially the amount of chips. My husbands regular was what we would consider small and he said was really greasy. I was surprised for a chippy that there was limited choice of fish. Ordered the children two beans on toast. There wasn’t a specific child menu which seemed strange and this was £4.75 advertised as beans with extra toast. It was just two slices with beans and I thought that cost was astronomical for beans on toast. Drinks also very overpriced- £2.20 for a small glass of milk. Similar for a small glass of fizzy drink. Toilets not great and the one I went in didn’t have a working flush so was bunged up with loo roll. No one came to ask if everything was ok or how the food was so it wasn’t easy to make a complaint (queue was large so we didn’t want to rejoin it to raise an issue as we had young children to sit with too). I had to get up and ask for extra napkins as they weren’t accessible to help yourselves too. Sauces charged extra and no peas as standard with the fish and chip meals which seemed unusual. Overall disappointed at the cost which far exceeds the portion sizes and quality. We live locally but wouldn’t return unless quality vastly improved and costs were more reasonable

Food was average, visited from London I though Londoners we miserable but these wow the staff so rude!! Plonked our drinks and cutlery on the opposite table to us there were 9 of us, I think of you don’t like tourist then advertise at the door. I would highly advise against going there if you want such a negative poor atmosphere. Beyond rude

We have eaten here, and at their sister restaurant in Clevelys, several times over many years. We have never been disappointed with the food and found the staff to be unfailing helpful - and cheerful. I had scampi and chips, my wife had fish and chips. Both served with tea, bread and butter. (The butter was rather runny but it was 24 degrees outside!) The food was piping hot and tasty. Blackpool isn't too attractive these days - especially when you go a couple of streets back from the front - but the Bispham Kitchen never fails to please.

Very enjoyable time spent eating in this establishment. Food was good, service was spot on. Exceptional variety of sweets.

I left this establishment both exuberant and distraught. The bacon sandwich, incredible, the staff as cold and salty as the sea, the 20p ketup packets yet another kink in this whole roller coaster ride to bacon heaven
