Came in for food on Sunday and was pleased with the service! Molly and shae did a good job of catering for us when a couple of issues with the food arose, would deffo go back again

Went in for Rebellion weekend to watch bands and grab a meal

There with the family and seen Big Rick having a lovely Sunday lunch,big Yorkshire pudding with the dinner inside it and a couple of pints. Lovely

It was the weekend of the airshow. Punters coming thick and fast, the charity shield had just finished. Despite the united loss, I had one more dream that day. I dreamed that me (a Scouser) would be able to watch Exeter City vs. Rotherham United, on sky sport in a pub in Blackpool. After a brief enquiry, Keiran came over, as if sent from heaven itself. Armed with a remote control and a lovely little beard. He did not stumble when issues marred his path, he persisted with troubleshooting and made this Google reviewers day. My dream was realised. Only in America, eh?

I tell you what, This pub is amazing. 1. The service they are really nice and kind and fast at taking food orders and delivering it. 2. The music is absolutely awesome and the atmosphere is great. 3. Just come to the pub and trust me you will love it.

Fabulous seaside pub,great food and atmosphere. I was here during Rebellion punk festival, live bands playing ,it was busy but no problem getting served .1st Class service.

The Washy became our second home during this year's rebellion festival. We were very well looked after! Tasty beers and ales (try the Washington's!). Ate there every day, great food at reasonable prices. Lovely stuff! Friendly and nice to everyone despite of working very, very hard during the festival days and nights! They even organised their own mini punk rock festival for everyone who wouldn't or couldn't afford rebellion tickets!

I have been going to this pub since high school, the staff are amazing and lovely, the food is great, brilliant and quick service. erike haley is an excellent waitress always brings everything you need right on time.

Been here today for food, was not disappointed,had fish and chips, and hunters chicken. All food was piping hot and well cooked, portion size was just right. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, good luck to the team. Would highly recommend 😄😄😄😄😄

Everytime we come to Blackpool, we love coming to the Washington for our food. We won't eat anywhere else. The bar staff are friendly and approachable, any issues, they sort it straight away. The atmosphere here is great. Highly recommended 🙂

Grate pub for a stake with a very friendly atmosphere, the service here is always spot on every time bars games such as pool and slot machines, All in all good for drink at reasonable prices to.

Was very grubby looking and unswept carpets and paint flaking off walls 🧱 most of the tables mucky and 1 of the staff was cleaning some of the tables with same cloth 🤮 🤮 🤮

We had a lovely afternoon here today, the staff were very friendly and we had a bite to eat and was lovely and hot , but what impressed my husband and I was a member of staff I think her name is Louisa, what a Trojan , she never stopped, taking out plateful apon plateful of food , cleaning tables , serving behind the bar , and doing this by herself, and always with a smile on her face , I hope this doesn't go unnoticed by management as she really is a grafter .

Came for food on Friday food was spot on cheep meals and good service we was served by a lady called kim i think and she went above and beyond we got a free drink for the promotion for pub and for country but the only down fall was the other lady behind the bar was rude and me and my boyfriend was shocked at the language she used towards the other member of staff Im only giving the 5 star because even though i could see the girl was stressed she mananged the whole situation in a professional way it was my first time in this pub and i will return next time im here

The fact of the delay in responding is relevant. But the food is great

Not 'Main Street' but a short enough walk if you fancy a great meal and a good drink. Sure it's a 'Green King Pub' but unlike London versions this is incredible value for money and the staff are way way way calmer. Honestly, best value for money in these parts.

Food ok , could do with a little more choice but you get what u pay for nice atmosphere friendly polite staff will visit again next time we are in town

Sunday 19th May 2024 We visited this Blackpool real ale pub it was a friendly pub serving a grand choice of real ales good staff and mostly locals in this Sunday, and a pleasant time in here had drinking good hand pumped ale

We dined last night myself 4 children and 2 pregnant friends , now 6 out of 7 of us are sick ! We all ate chicken ! The only person who didn’t eat any chicken is fine thank fully ! One of our meals (steak) was very dry and overcooked so the lovely staff took it back and the chef said “how does a kid know it’s overcooked? “ he then sent a medium steak back which was raw and cold inside we have photos . We have also reported this to the local council food services because I am so poorly I cannot leave my bed ! Our children were sent home this morning for throwing up in class ! Our pregnant ladies are so poorly ! I hope no one else has to feel like this ever

One of the better pubs with decent grub

What a pub, great range of cask ales and the food is absolutely delicious, had the steak on Tuesday and had a burger on Wednesday. The steak was absolutely fit, and the burger wasn't your run of the mill McDonald's type burgers it was an actual steak burger and was really nice. Top marks to all the staff and the chef I shall definitely be back

The bar staff or the manger is nothing but rude who discriminates against children…. Told a family that children has to be out by half 9 so the the family left but he left other children in past half 9 but wanted this family out! When he was confronted about this he denied it but witnesses heard him just think he need to stop targeting certain children!!!

Came in for a quick couple of pints on Sunday whilst waiting for a train and was served by a pleasant lassie called Erika! Glasses could do with a renovate but except from that was a decent experience!

Such Friendly staff and great prices on food and drinks. I went out on a budget with my friend’s and I feel like I barely spent anything. We got the 2 meal’s for 10.99 and they were definitely better then I expected them to be. Ericka made us feel so welcome and helped us with anything we needed, she also wanted us to make sure we gave our thankyou to the chef’s Kieran and Tony as sometimes they can get forgotten about in the back. We will be going back soon rather than later.

We came in as a family, it was my son's 14th birthday and The Washington is always a good choice for food and we all just love it. Erika is extremely attentive, nothing is too much trouble, she's always smiling and happy to help. I highly recommend coming here for proper food and impeccable service. Love Ro.

Almost delicious, but pleasant and original, I thoroughly enjoyed it and was satisfied.

We like to call here quite often when we come to Blackpool for a few days. The food is somewhat good with good portions but sometimes it would be better if it was hotter. Staff are very obliging and welcoming.

Well situated in town and has been much the same inside for more than 30 years that I can remember. Typical large pub and good for the meet ups and lunches.

Visit Blackpool at least 5 times a year and always go into the Washington for food and drink which is always spot on .the staff are always happy and pleasant and can't do enough for you for. Highly recommended for food and drink

We ordered drinks at the bar with an awfully rude ‘woman’ . No smile , barely conversed with us , only to point at the card machine to accept payment.. slammed drinks down and walked back to her group of ‘friends’ at the end of the bar . We decided not to eat there as welcome was hostile .. only to be told she’s the manager .. wow

Came in with the family for mums birthday food is very reasonable priced 2 meals for £10.99 I had the gammon lovely and juicy hardly any fat which is good 2 steak pies mum said pie was lovely loads of steak in and tasty cheeky chicken wings as a nibbler the only thing I would change is to put the sauce on the wings before sent out it looks so much better but that's my own preference thank you Tony for lovely food 😍😍

1st time going into pub and had good food and beers and top atmosphere

Terrible service, barman messed up our order and only ordered one meal rather than two even though pointed at the meal deal and got two drinks! Absolutely no attempt to correct the mistake by any manager, just a sorry I didn’t hear you from the poor lad who clearly had no training on customer service. Had he read and checked back the order or given a receipt this would have been quickly spotted. Only one of us ate and food was nice but paid full price for one meal only and really let down with customer care.

Fabulous priced Sunday dinner 2 for £11.99, pub classics including fish & chips 2 for 10.99. Lovely friendly customers, pool table & dart board. We were there last Sunday and a taller gentleman was very courteous in offering to bring any tea's or coffee's that we wished to order direct to the table.... when you've been dancing all weekend at an event that is welcomed service ! 👏👏👏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thank you very much.

Had a brilliant evening in the pub. The staff were really friendly, the food was delicious, the cocktails were divine. The prices were so cheap compared to other bars we have been to and the atmosphere was relaxed. No loud music so you could hear yourself think and talk. They also have a pool table and a darts board. Would highly recommend.

Not the best of places to go.... The hygiene is zero and the toilets are minging... No toilet paper and no hand wash... It stinks in the men's toilets... And the floor I was skating across it also talking to other punters they said the same . All I can say would I eat here with the toilets being that bad... Your choice 👍

This is one of our possible eating stops when we meet up with friends from the other side of Blackpool (St. Annes----Fleetwood drinking session) . We're never disappointed. The food is always lovely, it helps being a Green King pub, who tend to do great food at good value. The only downside is they don't do the big sharer steak & cheese type combos.

Only problem is finding somewhere to park

Pub was very busy with customers watching a football match but we did not have to wait long for our food which we enjoyed. Maybe you could make a small area that is for diners only without a speaker as it was very loud.

A pretty standard Greene King pub that was better than your average pub in Blackpool. It had all the sport on so a choice between darts and football which was good. They had a pool table (looked like a deposit was required for the cues) and a dart board too. They had a few well priced ales on too. The cocktails were decent and well priced, but they had no ice towards closing times so we had to have them warm hence taking a start away. A solid pub all in all.

I was assaulted by kimberley Warner manageress of the Washington pub she threw me out of the door pushed and punched me for no reason police won't do anything I am going to the gazette I am a pensioner she is 36 should know better she's disgusting too much coccain she should have been arrested she arrogantly said she wouldn't be arrested

A group of 5 friends were looking for somewhere to watch cricket and have a few beers something to eat and get out of the rain for a hour or two. The Washington ticked all boxes. Great food, fantastic staff. Made to feel welcome. Well worth a visit

Standard pub for locals. Food was bland and plate not satisfying at all. Decor has seen better days, tables need emptying quicker and a good scrub(sticky surfaces) chairs need replacing, no cushioning, left legs numb after 15 mins. Won't be returning.
