Had a brilliant breakfast, served by friendly staff. Would highly recommend the Welsh breakfast. Ambience in the restaurant welcoming, with pleasant 60s music not too loud.

Excellent breakfast lovely fresh Welsh produce and served hot! Friendly service. Worth paying a little extra for. Would definitely recommend don’t walk past! Hope to visit soon

We stumbled on WAL during a brief stop and enjoyed our lunch here. We each had the tandoori chicken wrap with side salad and it was a perfect lunch. The tandoori sauce is flavorful but not overly spicy and the light dressing in the salad was a nice complement. An excellent lunch stop our drive thru Snowdonia!

Came in for lunch orderd sandwich and wrap for my daughter the staff were pleasant we had a lovely table the food was lovely the chips we had were seasoned so tasty great atmosphere the place was busy but we did not wait that long definitely would go back thank you

Large group booked relatively last minute - food was excellent and staff could not do enough to ensure they looked after - it’s hidden away so you don’t necessarily fall across Wal but well worth a visit

We had a fantastic dinner at Wal to celebrate a special birthday, The food was wonderful (we thoroughly recommend the Mediterranean Sea Bass) and the service was, as always, totally friendly and professional. This was a great experience - we will be back again!

We had a delicious meal here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was a bit slow but the restaurant was full and buzzing. We recommend the seafood linguine - yummy! The only negative is that they do not have large bottles of sparkling water….

Went for brunch and sat outside (also great for people watching!) and the service was swift and all the staff we encountered were most friendly and helpful and the best service ever! A nice touch was bringing out a water bowl for our dog and a handful of gravy bones! I had a breakfast and it was lovely and hot and tasty (welsh pork and leek sausage yummmmeee!) and my wife had gammon egg and chips which looked lovely and she said it tasted lovely too! The food's not dirt cheap but the servings are huge and the pizzas were priced reasonably and looked lovely. GO!

Called in today early for coffee….very pleasant welcome from male member of staff. Lovely hot coffee served with a smile and light chat. Loved it.

We dropped into here for lunch as we were passing, the food was great I had the soup and a sandwich, soup was homemade and a sandwich of lovely cheese. My wife had the vegetarian breakfast which she says was superb especially the sausage. We liked it so much we came back for dinner. This didn’t disappoint. A lovely steak was devoured by me with the other half having a fungi pizza which looked and apparently tasted lovely. We can’t recommend this place enough don’t walk past.

Stopped here for a bite of lunch while we were in the area. The cafe was very clean but very dark inside due to been a old building. The food was lovely however it was not value for money and the staff were not very friendly

Me and my mum often come to the wall for dinner or just cup of tea. Today we arrived and the cafe was closed but we did not know this. On entry the man behind counter shouted were closed. So i told my mum. As we left he shouted rudly again there is a sign out side! I looked out side and the sign was hidden behind a pipe! Will never come to this cafe again!

Lovely venue, friendly staff, good food and coffee, reasonable prices. We only went in for coffee amd cake but our baby woke up whilst we were there so we decided to stay and have some lunch. Staff were really friendly and accomodating, got us a high chair and warmed up baby's food for us. Everyone very friendly. Had a nice window seat. Very relaxing.

Stopped in on a wet Sunday before a visit to the castle. Cafe was busy (maybe due to it being remembrance Sunday) but they were able to accommodate the two of us. I had the vegetarian breakfast and my partner had a normal (w meat) breakfast. I don’t like eggs and he doesn’t like mushrooms and they were very accommodating and plated it up putting my egg on his plate and gave me his mushrooms. Food was delicious and service lovely, I will definitely be returning.
