food is amazing customer service is horrible. They take so long to answer the phones online even when they answer they take even longer to acknowledge your order and prompt the payment. do better. The food however is AMAZING

I was not expecting much based on previous experience. On the many occassions I have visited this place, I have never met anyone taking ownership of building customer rapport. No one with a presence, a welcoming smile, a nod, a chat. The basic essential to building and retaining a solid customer base. last night, we booked table for 17, menus sent way ahead of time. Yet only 1 staff member to serve 17 people. The poor boy tried his best, but what could he do. Ownership or stewardship was missing. No one to seat us down, mobilse staff. the simple things one would expect. Either be present at your business or employ a manager who will be present and ensure people feel welcome, serviced and looked after. Yes, we would like to support migrant business, but we will not be blind to poor services. Compared to other ethnic restuarants, this one is failing in taking care of its own community. The owner(s) should be going above and beyond to serve and invest in thier own community members. Wishing them goodluck in 2025.

The atmosphere is amazing, and customer service is great. It's an amazing place to celebrate your birthday or group hang out. Definitely going back there.

It was just a handful of people in there. I enjoyed the food a d music. I would love to give it another chance.

Listen love food n Felix n everyone I've met n here are very welcoming but service very slow missed 2 train waiting for a 35 minute order BUT I WAS VERY TIRED n just had the food it was amazing

Im not one to leave reviews but I have to be practical and honest. They need to improve on customer service especially when it comes to deliveries. They charge a whopping £5 for deliveries especially when ordering through Uber eats and countless times they’re deliveries are very delayed, usually I am waiting over 1 and a half hours for my food to be delivered. It’s ridiculous.. I mean if you’re charging that much for delivering orders then you should at least be considerate and keep the delivery waiting times short. I’ve had this happen multiple times with this restaurant and it’s just not a good look. Unfortunately it’s the only Nigerian restaurant in this area, so people have to wait up to v2 hours after placing an order without any updates from them. Shocking and appalling

The quantity for their meals is ridiculous!!! How can you buy suya for £15 and it looks like this, it's just disgusting how we do ourselves because some people are trying to be sharp and make extra profits. Will not be buying again.

Interesting place..worlds most bored bar person (female) deserves a special mention for her mediocrity. The watch word is defo hakuna mattata...= tomorrow will do!

Unpleasant food. Tastey is far better. I got moi moi. Even sold at £4, it was not fresh, burnt in microwave. It was a complete waste of money. YOU CAN DO BETTER

Food was alright. Had the Oha soup. It was okay but not much vegetables. Also, there are not much plant based options here. Also, the service was a bit slow.

I loved Waka Foods. The customer experience was so good, food brought on time still hot, service was prompt. The food for me was so good! Tasted fresh and not inundated with too much salt like most Nigerian restaurants tend to be. The yam porridge and whisk was on point 10/10

The Suya was suyaring 🤣🤣, I have also ordered food a couple of times and was served Original Nigeria meal Unadulterated although I got Attracted to the Lounge Because of karaoke and Shisha, unfortunately, Shisha wasn't Available 🥲on the day I went in. otherwise, the service was swift in here with a friendly gesture from Sade. I will definitely be back here.

Our meal was disappointing, our meat was so tough I couldn't eat it all. The guy who served us was nice and helpful, shame the food was poor. I've eaten better curried goat at home. The place has potential but they need to perfect the cooking. Very expensive too!

I have eaten i this place a few times and I must say it is a 5* service from start to finish! the food is unreal and the staff are amazing!

Ordered expensive food no fufu no chicken wings and tried to tell us we Ordered it wrong then after admitted to having no chicken wings.. the lady who dealt with it tried to tell me it was my fault.. I can't believe the level of attitude I got. I suggest not eating here im a Google review agent. None of them really cared at all.. my goat have 2 massive bones in it so I got 2 pieces of meat... so now we're going to order from a different takeaway... ridiculous prices I couldn't believe the prices... go else were guys

I enjoyed the all cow skin nkwobi however would be much better to have some goat meat or beef.

Five star service and very friendly staff. Not all the items on the menu were available, but the lady who looked after us made sure we had the best of what they could offer on the day. Place comes recommended. Thanks again for the hospitality.

When it comes to many Nigerian restaurants in London, unfortunately, the best way to 'enjoy' the experience is to go with no expectations of quality service. Our visit to Wakafoods (group of 7) fit this uninspiring stereotype. There was only ONE person (presumably the owner) who was running front of house, serving tables and running food from the kitchen. Dude was literally sweating because he was working so hard. Although our visit was on a week night, they could have done with one extra person. I guess because this person was clearly overworked/overstretched, he got part of our order wrong. We didn't kick up a fuss because it wasn't worth the trouble. Overall, the quality of food itself was decent. The quantities for the soup dishes were slightly on the smaller side making us question the value for money. In terms of ambiance, they had one track (Buga by Kizz Daniel & Tekno) on repeat the entire night. This became irritating after a while. The restaurant itself is large enough for big groups and parties and is worthy of consideration for private functions. A public car park opposite provides sufficient parking. Hopefully the owners can take some of this feedback and improve things.

I’ve had more than one unpleasant experiences from this place. In addition to the food being ridiculously expensive, I went home with an order one time and had no meat in the food! Same food I had opened in the restaurant and sent back because it was incomplete. I assumed they got it right the second time and got home to utter disappointment. Another time, for delivery (mind you, price is twice as much as all other shops around), food took 2hrs 30mins to arrive! I’m honestly done with this place☹️😐😡
