Wajs Fast Food in Bradford

The service was too bad, when I went in first the server said only chicken burger and something else was available..I asked him are chips available he said yes. Then when I asked him does chicken burger comes with chips he immediately changed and said you can't get chicken burger. I bought large chips and they were tasteless, half of them werent cooked properly. It was not at all worth for that price.

The fish and chips were great, and the server was freindly. Definitly eat there again.

Have been using this place a while now as they serve the best chips locally, but I'm starting to get out of the bad food by the miserable service. Bloke who usually serves never cracks a smile and when myself and last time I went in the man behind me happened to order the same thing as me, and the server gave him his food first. I also felt fobbed off when he gave me what was obviously the smallest fish in the cabinet. Best chips or not I doubt I'll be back unless someone tells me things have improved because the value isn't there anymore. In the space of 18 months the price of a burger/chips combo has gone up from £1 to £2.40. I know inflation is bad but 140%?!

Very small portions. Portion for ant ? Chips - boiled potatoes. I am unwell after meal in that take away. Newer again.

It's cheap takeaway food. Don't mean this in a bad way, but something quick and easy to eat at a decent price

Mediocre food at best. When I ordered I got dry and hard donner and a watery burger overall terrible tasting food and very very greasy. The food is not cheap either , it wasnt cheap food either, it cost me £12 for a burger meal and dinner meal. Won't be going there again , deli fresh a few doors down is a much better place to eat.

Fish and chips are best in Bradford good fish and you have option to swap for fries with fish and chips and salad and sauce goes nice with it must try and rest of menu food is decent and they do nice curry sauce and mushy pies and must try wajs platter great fresh foods

Came all the way from greengates to go to wajs as I moved out of the area,food was OK but the staff are arrogant no manners (what you want)looked at me funny when I asked for chip spice (like he pays for it)3.99 for two donner and chip meal and 1.79 cheese burger =10.20 😂😂should of went next door or rajas

Food was OK but service is horrible! £5.95 for fish and chips which was OK Could have gave abit more chips but......... The service however is horrendous! The owner Waj is is good but when hes not there the other workers need customer service training. I ordered from the chubby fella at the till and he totally forgot my order! Someone else who came in 5 mins after me ordered fish and chips too and they got their food before me???? 🤬 Even other customers in the takeaway were shocked said to me didn't you order that before? I told the worker he was dismissive and said 'I forgot ' with a face on!

Cheep and cheerfully, wasn't anything special to be honest. Slow service, felt like the food has been refried a few times.

Not too keen on his donor, last time I was given a left over from yesterday, pitta bread was a little too burn and extra crispy, it didn't bend. Contact less isn't Available and next door is a cash machine that charges 1.99 per transaction.

I bought a chicken burger meal from Wajs, it had doritos, cheese, jalapeños and some other things inside. With fish and chip style chips and a can of soft drink. I thought the burger was delicious, and would order again. They even have some real cheap deals like a £1.69 burger with chips, but I have never bought one, so can't tell you much. Overall I recommend and the customer service was great too.

Chips nice but fish is same size as the chips covered in a ton of batter. Advice: choose the fish or they’ll try getting away with giving you the smallest fish. What a world we live in.

Was generally happy with these guys but went in Ramadan and ordered a cheeseburger. When it came time to pay he charged me for a meal and said they only do meals in Ramadan, and I asked where the sign is. He said we tell people when they pay. Won't be going here, again, they lost my regular custom. I used to give them more on tips than what this guy overcharged me.

Delicious food.Had so many times from there never been disappointed. Every time good food.Big portion and good quality. Chips yummy. Good service. Only one thing when we ordered they said will be ready in 10 minutes. But we thought it’s shouldn’t be ready in 10 minutes. We ordered meal for 5 people, so we reached there in about 15 minutes and had have to wait another five minutes to get the food ready. We don’t mind if you take 20/25 minutes to get the food ready but would be better if you can give more accurate time. I think still I should give you five star. See you soon guys.

Ordered from here a couple of times, food is amazing and the hygiene is a 5*. Never seen cleanliness like this in any other takeaway. Definitely recommend the Waj’s special and the Keema and Chips.

Decent food, decent prices, decent place. Alrighty Donner and fish I suppose. What more to expect? A decent, borderline takeaway with alright staff and service. Not many problems but not enough to give 4/5 stars. Would rate a solid 3.7.

The food here is excellent. But what's more excellent is the staffs adherence to cleanliness. I've eaten at many an establishment but have never come across a place where staff actually adhere to food safety regulations like wajs staff. That and the friendly smile the staff have makes it a pleasure to enjoy some of the finest fish and chips in Bradford.

Ordered through Hungryhouse, saw it was a new one near me and though good. 6mins before it was due to arrive they cancelled the order, the reason give was they did not have the ingredients for my order. I ordered a basic chicken curry and a pizza and they cannot make the order. They should not be in business. I believe the truth is that they could not deliver in time so cancelled to avoid having to give us free as promised on hungryhouse, if not delivery in the time promised.
