Waitrose Cafe in Greenwich

This is a great place to meet colleagues and get some work done ahead of business meetings. Never seems too busy and the staff are polite and attentive.

Staff not interested, ignored customers waiting to be served, then served poor quality coffee. Cafe was cold & unwelcoming, squashed between entrance & toilets.

店頭で試食を配っていて、店員さんも感じ良かったので立ち寄りました。店内には色んなお菓子があって、どれにしようか迷いました 。値段はやや高めかもしれないですが、東京にくらべてとにかく量が多いので、それほど高いとは思いませんでした。ショッピングにも便利です。

Usual Waitrose quality food at reasonable prices . The cafe is located on the first floor in a comfortable surroundings with a spacious layout for wheel chairs and buggies. Always like sour dough bread. With avocado and bacon with a side of poached egg. Would recommend. Please like if this helped.

Basement of JL at Oxford St. Excellent. You can choose any bottle of wine from the shop & they will serve it for £7 corkage fee!!!! Lots of nice snacks available to nibble on too- cheese/ham platter, olives etc. Went with a tight friend of mine who treated me! Bully for him! I take him to expensive restaurants he brings me here for a cheap glass of wine.

駅に直結していて、便利です。買い物ついでに利用し、ラテを頼みました。お店の中の一角なので、一人でも利用しやすいです。

간식거리를 사기위해 잠깐 들렀던 마트 한켠에 있는 카페에서 간단하게 커피와 빵으로 아침 식사를 했습니다. 기대없이 주문한 크로와상은 여느 빵집보다 더 퀄리티가 좋았고 가격도 너무 착해서 이틀 연속 아침을 먹었네요. 강추합니다.

I met a friend for a quick lunch in the cafe. Unfortunately on the day we went there was a power issue which meant certain items were unavailable. Overall the experience was good despite this.

Upstairs tucked away there is the quiet Waitrose Cafe. I always use it here for meetings as I get a drink for 25p for a coffee and banana with my Waitrose Card! I refuse to use one use cups or plastic which you are forced to use elsewhere, Waitrose use proper china. I will be back!

有各式各樣的蛋糕，價錢亦有平有貴，豐儉由 人。買完蛋糕仲可以買杯啤酒，行去河邊吹吹風，傾吓計，咁就可以消閑一個晏晝。

Good sized bright cafe. No windows but plenty of light. Good coffee and scones, even better with your card.

We enjoyed a quick bite here and would recommend that is what is good for. The service we had was good.

This cafe is not up to the high John Lewis group standards. I live nearby and I have been there a couple of times. Super slow in serving coffee and cakes. Tables tend to be dirty and cluttered. They probably expect customers to clean up (?). I complained once and staff showed no interest. Really odd because I have been to other cafes of the chain and they are a lot better.

One of the delights of the JL Place to Eat in Oxford Street is the quality of their cheese scones. Now those in the new branch at Stratford Westfield are even better - cheese and chives (and mustard?) - so why does this branch not copy the others. Canary Wharf branch scones are invariably hard and need butter to make them edible. One might have thought that they all came from a central bakery. Obviously not. Please CW go and try the others and see how yours can be improved.

Waitroseのカードを持っていると、フリーでカフェラテが飲めるので、よく利用します。また、ショッピングセンター内にあるので、ほかのショッピングと共に利用しています。

I have stopped in for coffee and cake in the last few months while visiting Canary Wharf as it's convenient and cheap with the Waitrose card. Trouble is it has become painfully slow when ordering anything. The staff seem to take their own time and there is never a manager in sight overseeing what is going on. The place seems busy all the time so maybe it's just me!

We popped into our local Waitrose cafe for a quick light lunch and coffee. 2 x Emmental, pastrami and gherkin toasties, kids macaroni cheese, portion of chunky chips, latte, hot chocolate. £25!!! This better taste good....it didn't. The bread used for the toasties looked and tasted cheap. Neither of of the emmental, pastrami and GHERKIN toasties had any gherkin. The chips were really under cooked and a few of the bigger chips were raw in the middle. "Never knowingly undersold" sort it out Waitrose!! Will be using Poplar Cafe in future.

Late breakfast in Waitrose Canary Wharf should be uneventful. We waited a while for the young trainee staff to take our order - that's OK. We ordered two 'avocado & bacon on toasts'. We sat down - from my chair I could see into the kitchen. I saw a 'chef' spoon a serving of avocado pieces on to a piece of toast and then smear it on to the toast with his ungloved fingers - our toast! It arrived - we did not eat it. I told the supervisor what I had seen and she refunded our money. Had he washed his hands? We will never know..........

Usually visit for a coffee and cake but decided to try the hot food, had a burger and the fishcake. The burger was not very big and did not come with coleslaw, as discribed in the menu. In general very disappointing.

Nice friendly coffee place for mums. Have a coffee and chill with other mums!! I used to meet other mums here and we never got a crossed look!Great free hot drink with my waitrose card and just needed to buy a cake,cookie or sandwich!Used to love the steak sandwich but somehow the steak became smaller and smaller.

高級スーパーマーケットのWaitroseが運営しているカフェ。簡単なカフェなので、サービスなどはほぼありませんが、茶葉などはWaitroseのものを使っているので、なかなか美味しいです。サンドイッチなどもあります。

We've discovered that Waitress cafe/restaurants make really good meeting venues. Easy to find and at certain times of the day they (including this place) can be quiet enough to have a business meeting, with an ok coffee and pastries. And you don't feel like you are being pushed out. Recommended

my mum her friend and I decided on the waitrose cafe as the cue was relatively small but it still took forever to get served I really didn't understand what the problem was until we got to the front, there was only one till, I ordered the chicken wrap at £5.50 I think. it was very poor. there was two tiny bits of chicken in it and sauce, and way too hot to eat with your fingers the tea was fine shame about the wrap

Average quality Tea and CoffeeNo soup available even though they advertised this. The chef did not show up and only normal cakes were available.Next time I think Pret-A-Manger will be better,

It does seem a bit odd. Would I really go to Waitrose especially to visit the café? Well, quite possibly, although I might also pick up a few essentials from the store for future meals at home at the same time.The odd thing about Waitrose meals, so far as supermarkets are concerned, is that the quality is simply so good. You queue at the counter, place your order and carry your drink to the table and wait for your meal to be brought to you by a friendly and polite partner of the firm.My partner and I both chose a beef lasagne, which, I may say, was considerably better than any I've managed to make at home. The pasta, meat and cheese sauce are almost startlingly delicious and generous in quantity. £5.95 has to be regarded as good value for such a dish.The café is a touch cramped with close-set tables and the atmosphere can hardly be described as restful but you don't notice that too much on a shopping-expedition and if you are on your own there are plenty of newspapers to read. But would I really go there just for the café? You know, I think I might just do that.

Twenty minutes wait for coffee this morning even though the number of people waiting was fewer than normal. We come to sit and drink coffee before shopping. When the cafe was at the back at the mall level, the service was fine. Since the refurb it has been terrible. We have even arrived just before 3pm to find lots of empty tables but all covered with dirty dishes - we left.I HOPE SOMEONE IS READING THIS AND TAKING NOTE!

The Waitrose cafe is the perfect place to have a quick snack and pick up a coffee on your way to or from work in Canary Wharf !! Had been a daily coffee stop for me always !

Service can be slow and menu can change (not always for the better) so can be a bit hit or miss. When its good its good though and convenient when shopping in Waitrose!

O Café fica dentro da filial Shopping Canary Wharf do WAITROSE (Um dos melhores supermercados de rede em Londres). É pratico, café e salgados gostosos porém o atendimento estava muito demorado.

O café fica dentro de uma das mais modernas lojas de um dos melhores supermercados londrinos, o Waitrose, aqui na sua filial dentro do shopping Canary Wharf.Pena que o serviço seja demorado e não seja bom.

I do like Waitrose and it's handy to have lunch in the cafe before I start my shopping. The only thing that puts me off is the painfully slow service - no one behind the counter knows what they are doing and the queue gets longer and longer. Once when I did complain to the manager, he apologised and told me that the staff are new. But the service has always been slow and not getting any better every time I visit. I would really expect better from Waitrose!!

The service in there gets slower and slower. Tables are never cleared with dishes piling up. Can't fault the friendliness of the staff but someone needs to take charge and get the place moving. How long can it take to microwave a meal or toast some bread???

had 2 experiences and I gave up:- weekday breakfast, showed up to work late because it took too long to prepare breakfast- saturday brunch: too over 40 mins, asked for a refund, manager was not that apologetic and kept lying that a member of staff was off sick, and were understaffed. that does nto explain all the yelling and shoutign and childish behaviour I could hear fro mthe kitchen. UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE FROM A JOHN LEWIS ESTABLISHMENT!

The waitrose cafe upstairs to the Canary Wharf store was quite a nice place to sit down and enjoy some good food with friends. Like the waitrose and the john lewis brand of offering good quality of food and services. This cafe has certainly lived up to the expectation for me. I have tried the fish and chips for lunch one day, big breakfast the next day and then just only yesterday tried the afternoon tea.The cakes were fresh and so as all the ingredients to the cooked food. It is comfortable to be sitting around and relax after long walk in the mall and the price is very reasonable.

OK, the cafe is just that inside a department store, but the food is great, prices excellent and service friendly. Much better than many of the alternatives in the area.
