Does anyone ever water the plants Waitrose has for sale - Or is it planned to let them die and throw them away ? What a waste. Again.

Very disappointing visit today. Terrible selection of fresh fruit and veg. I had to report the rotten rhubarb that was brown and slimy and very short dates on produce. Empty shelves in some section. Thick layer of dust on the wine bottles and store generally looked run down and dusty.

Came to buy a bottle of water and sandwich at lunchtime at the weekens. No single bottle of water in the whole shop. Searched sandwich section and all round shop for 10nins. Finally gave up and left.

We stayed for 7 nights in a self catering situation. Waitrose pre-prepared meals were so good. No need to buy lots of leaves, lots of noodles, lots of rice & lots of everything else. Thank you Waitrose for giving us the opportunity to prepare a wholesome & enjoyable meal without leftovers. Good job guys!

This is a fairly large Waitrose, offering free coffee/tea with a purchase. Unfortunately, there is only one coffee machine available and therefore always a queue. There is an very small inside cafe, where you need to pay for your coffee!!

Lovely traditional pub but with the added bonus of fabulous Turkish kebab served in the garden. What a fabulous surprise that this hidden gem was tucked away at the back there.

Visit frequently, altogether made 3 complaints about food missing from orders which I didn’t think was too bad considering the amount we go, to which I was told by the manager that I complain too much and she doesn’t want me complaining anymore. Rochelle needs customer service training, when questioned about my complaints she simply repeated herself instead of answering questions, she was rude and humiliating in front of other customers. I was told missing food is my issue not theirs. I work hospitality and if I spoke to a customer the way she spoke to me I’d be out of a job.

I am deeply dissatisfied. I ordered the avocado poached eggs and my mum ordered the haddock sandwich, which both arrived cold. Although we noticed the temperature, after waiting for the food, we were too hungry to complain and assumed it would still be safe to eat and trusted that the staff would not serve something that was not fit for consumption! Regrettably, after eating the sandwich, my mother experienced food poisoning symptoms, which I am confident were a direct result of the cold, possibly unsafe haddock. This experience has left us deeply upset with both the quality of food and the service at The Foley Pub. It is particularly frustrating, given that I have had a prior unpleasant experience with the food here. After this most recent incident, I am left questioning the standards of food safety and hygiene being maintained in the kitchen! This level of service is completely unacceptable, and I feel that as paying customers, our health and satisfaction should have been prioritised. Not impressed.
