I have not been to a Pizza Express for sometime. I went on Saturday and the service was great My Pizza was really nice. Great all round

Have eaten here before with no problems. This time (ordered three Pizza American between three diners + one choc fudge cake) woke up with stomach upset then went on to have diarrhoea, nausea and high temperature, followed to cap it all off by a nice touch of multiple coldsores. Another of the us had projectile vomiting and has been in bed all weekend. Suffice to say will not be giving it another go.

Not the best experiences...rude waiters, indifferent services. Was made to feel like our party of 8 were a massive inconvenience. One of our party had her meal cleared away before she had finished. The scoring system here doesn't allow for negative scores but ...

Don't forget your Tastecard - 25% discount for up to 6 people. Decent pizzeria, even if it is a chain. Very child friendly. There's plenty of options available in terms of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and meaty. Not just pizzas either, as they also have salads and lasagna. Both classic and thin pizzas are available.

Very unenthusiastic greeting. Lacklustre service. With the exception of one male server, staff were nowhere to be seen. Had to go and find someone to clear our table, found four chatting in the bar area. Food was bland. Table beside ours had rubbish and food on the floor throughout our stay, and there were only 4-5 other tables occupied. Very disappointing £100+ visit. Not a recommended place to visit.

We went to pizza express to celebrate my brothers birthday with friends. As usual the service was wonderful and the food was delicious . We had 4 pizzas and the quality was high as always. We had some wonderful waiters and didn’t leave a crumb. Totally recommend for anyone to celebrate .

Had an “only ok” experience at Pizza Hut in Esher. The pizza was on the smaller side and didn’t quite feel like it offered good value. Service was average, nothing particularly memorable, and considering the restaurant wasn’t busy, it seemed a bit lackluster. Overall, it didn’t leave much of an impression, and I wouldn’t be in a rush to return.

Quality Food , With friendly staff !

Had a bad experience . Popped in for lunch My wife was served a margarita pizza that arrived cold we sent it back it was returned reheated therefore the base was really tough and very difficult to cut and digest. My pepperoni pizza was warm therefore cold before I finished it. When our pizzas arrived our starter plates were not cleared and we were not offered any condiments. It was a shame because it was my wife's birthday. We have always had good meals at pizza Express so was surprised by the service and substandard pizza . Very disappointed.

Food was amazing the service was brilliant. Food came fresh within minutes after ordering. Waiters are very friendly definitely coming again!!

Great meal, staff always attentive

The place is comfortable and pleasant, as is its staff, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. Two chicken parmesan with pasta and a pizza, the pizza is very small for the price and the dough seems to have no fermentation, it was like a supermarket Mexican tortilla with a little cheese on top and few ingredients. By changing the measurement and the mass they could gain a lot in quality for such a cheap product. Italian food is simple, and is based on love and good products, which can easily be improved, but we were very disappointed with our dinner.

I request the food by Deliveroo and I received a burned food and missing dessert. I didn’t receive any refund from the Deliveroo and when I call pizza express nothing could be done about it. It’s was a horrible experience. First and last time I ever order from Pizza Express

I ordered at 18:49, Estimated time kept changing, I had waited until 21:00, at which point eta changed to 21:30, so I went home (I was at work). I had called the restaurant at 19:27, they said food was ready, and waiting for it to be picked up. I can see that some one attempted delivery at 22:00, which is over 4 hours late. I’m sure you can understand, I’m expecting a full refund

We went in & sat down at a table it took them about half an hour to serve us & we were waiting for hour for our food , saw a couple of waters talking to each other , when it was busy like they didn't care , half the of the tables in there won't even clean

I recently dined at Pizza Express and was extremely disappointed. The food was utterly tasteless, and I felt like I was eating overpriced frozen pasta rather than a freshly prepared meal. The lack of flavor and creativity in the dishes was shocking, especially given the prices they charge. I left the restaurant feeling dissatisfied and unhappy with my experience. Unfortunately, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal. Save your money and look elsewhere!

I had a great experience at Pizza Express. The staff were friendly, and my American Hot pizza was spot on—crispy crust, just the right spice, and generous toppings. The dough balls were a perfect starter. Quick service and a satisfying meal. I'll be back.

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon here with a two families. The manager and waiting staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food great, as always. Kids loved it. Biscoff desert was well worth a try! :)

Dont spend your money on the lasagna! It was only tomato sauce, 2 sheets of lasagna and bechamel on top... didnt even feel the mince beef... really bad sadly. Apart from that, staff were really professional and frindly and a nice atmosphere. I will come back BUT i will get pizza.......

The Esher branch is quite loud due to the layout, but the pizza is always decent and the service prompt. If you've ever been to a pizza express before, you'll get what you expect. The kids love it!

Paul was fabulous in dealing with our orders mishap, an absolute legend

Pizza Express is typically a safe option but this time it just fell short. Pizzas were ok (not great) but the service was poor (got the bill wrong twice….both times in their favour….mmm). Also the cost now is just getting too high for what is fairly simple food. Sadly many better options in the area for pizzas…..

Im not happy at all with how it came the food came all over the place not even on the pizza. The pizza also looked like it’s been rushed and there was missing things off the pizza I’m not happy as last time I ordered from here it came an hour after I ordered it it told me it would take 20 mins

Service was a little slow and the food wasn't as tasty as it usually is. There wasn't many staff on shift and seemed panicked between clearing tables and serving customers, which is a shame as we usually really love it

Came lastnight for the valentines meal. I arrived 15 minutes early but when arriving I did say sorry I am early and the front of house waitress replied by saying I can see that not that I can turn you away is it because your here which was rude!!!!! The waiter was nice blonde gentleman however seemed new and no one came to take our drinks order for 20 minutes so we were just sitting there. Service was poor waited a very long time for plates to be taken and to be asked if we wanted a drink. Asked for a pot of sauce with my meal which came towards the end of the meal which was pointless. As it’s an open planned kitchen, the lady chief was eating and did not her wash her hands which is disgusting! Overall it was terrible experience seen as the restaurant was not busy at all. Wouldn’t return

After a fab afternoon at Esher Jump-In the kids wanted to eat at Pizza Express. We normally go to Walton but as we were in Esher decided to visit that branch. Big Mistake. Huge. We were a group of 2 adults and 6 kids. The first thing that was said to us after asking for a table was - “well you should have booked” “next time book”. This was said by the tall blonde lady who was the branch manager. This was at 5:45pm on a Tuesday - there were 2 tables with customers. The restaurant was dead considering this was during half term. Our order was taken by a male waiter- who didn’t seem to be too happy. Food was fine. Walton branch is much better. The dessert was ordered for the kids after they had their meal and was brought out by the same waiter. He dashed the spoons on the table for the kids to help themselves. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. We asked for the bill and on realising that we didn’t pay any service charge, the same male waiter also dashed the bill on the table. This was by far the rudest and most appalling behaviour I have come across. No consideration for the fact that we were there with kids. Both staff members had miserable faces and not once did they smile or have banter. Worst customer service. I would never visit this branch ever again. I just hope that these staff members realise that they work in hospitality for which customer service is key! Do not waste your time and money going into this branch. Visit Walton instead!!

Consistently good over the years and yet still exciting. That's a hard act to pull off!

As a black person, I always heard that Italians are racist terrible people which I didn’t want to Beli but this place has further proven that to me. The first thing I heard when I got there is shouting from a mid age munter who shouted “YES” and while I was seated somewhere I saw how she delightful and welcoming with the other customers who are mainly white. The food itself doesn’t worth the money as I ordered Fiorentena pizza which was £15 and a can of lemonade for £4. Don’t recommend it at all. The pizza has barely got a cheese on it with around 5 pieces of olives and the can of lemonade can be bought from the corner shop for around 30p. Nice decor though.

Whoever was filling up the takeaway pots of garlic butter at pizza express esher on 4th Jan 2024 at 7.30. Shame on you. Couldn’t be less stingy if u tried.

Food was freezing. Have ordered from here before and usually great but that’s 2 days running had cold food from just eat. Wont be ordering again from here.

Evening out with friends. Waiter brought the wrong wine, after tasting realised it was incorrect, told waiter and he said oh thought you asked for ,,, Went to get correct wine, came back saying they had run out, picked another wine. Few other issues but food ok When bill came the original wine plus the replacement was on there. If he thought I asked for a different wine why was it on bill at the top. Were they trying to palm it off

Delivery time needs somevwork. What's going on?

My food arrived 2 hrs after it was ordered. It appeared that the restaurant only began preparing the food after I indicated that it was already late.
