Wahacas in Edinburgh, City of

En una visita de un día a Edimburgo y casualmente hizo una pausa y miró el menú en la ventana. No tenía experiencia previa de este restaurante y solo un conocido de paso con la comida mexicana. Después de una caminata por Princes Street me di cuenta de que el menú me había dado hambre. Volví y me di cuenta en cuestión de segundos que había tomado la decisión correcta. Un ambiente tan tranquilo, tranquilo, limpio y cálido con una bienvenida luminosa y amable. Los aromas de la cocina abierta eran deliciosos. Opté por el Rainbow Bowl con camote y brócoli de tallo tierno. ¡Habla de fresco! Una gran mezcla de gustos y todo por £ 11. 50 - sorprendentemente buena relación calidad-precio. (¡Intenté enviar esto ayer pero apreté el botón equivocado!)

¡Todo está bien aquí! Mi guacamole favorito y cerdo de piscina favorito. Mirando hacia adelante para volver. Y el servicio también es bueno.

Vaya buena comida mexicana. Recomienda las quesadillas de pollo. El servicio también fue muy bueno. La comida llegó a la mesa unos 10 minutos después de que oramos.

Mi novio y yo a menudo elegimos Wahaca para cenar fuera y para llevar y NUNCA DECEPCIONA! Absolutamente me encanta la comida! No puedo recomendar más x

Tuvimos una gran noche aquí. De principio a fin el servicio fue genial! Cálido y acogedor. La comida era absolutamente deliciosa. Teníamos una selección de platos pequeños para compartir. Todos fueron geniales. Los cócteles también fueron una gran adición a la comida. El restaurante en sí es precioso y tenía un gran ambiente. Muy recomendable.

We love Wahaca and still think the Edinburgh one is the best. The wait staff were all really nice as usual and everything is clean and following Covid rules. Thanks again for a lovely visit, good was great guys!

Recently visited in September 2018 as a party of 2. We both wanted to enjoy our experience after previously dining in your London restaurant on several occasions, but unfortunately we were less than impressed by our first visit to your Edinburgh restaurant! We arrived 15 minutes early, checked in with the host at the welcome station and were directed to the bar to enjoy a drink whilst we waited for our table, the bar was busy so things were a little slow - but we expected that on a Saturday night! When we were shown to our table we were seated in a nice corner upstairs, the decor was pleasant and there was a good atmosphere. Our server, Joe, introduced himself and talked us through their menu. We were both sitting with nearly empty glasses but were not offered a second drink, which would have been a nice touch for while we browsed the menu. After careful consideration we opted to order 2 street food dishes each (there was a great variety to choose from). When Joe came over to take our order his handheld order pad stopped working - we just assumed that he would have nipped off to pick up a fully functioning one, however next we saw him taking dishes out to two other tables. By this point, sitting with empty drinks glasses, this left us confused about when we were going to get to order or if we'd just been forgotten about.Once our order was eventually taken, we enjoyed a couple of delicious mojitos while we waited on our food - first my black bean and cheese quesadilla arrived, although no other dishes arrived at the same time so I had to tuck in while my friend sat with an empty stomach! I had finished my first dish before the other three dishes arrived, so things felt a wee bit mismatched. We were not asked at any point if we were enjoying our meal or if we would like anymore drinks - which was a shame, as I was thirsty after my food! We sat with empty dishes in front of us for over 5 minutes before Joe came over to clear our table, by which time we had decided we didn't want to risk ordering dessert and being further disappointed. Although it was a busy Saturday night we would have appreciated the service to be a wee bit more personal, we had picked this restaurant over others because we liked the relaxed vibe and nice atmosphere - although this time it seemed everyone was just a tad laid back. I hope we visited on an 'off day' and that not everyone has experienced such a poor time as this - although I can safely say, we would not want to risk going back to go through that again!

Tasty food, perfect size, good environment. Raphael is very patient and helpful for international tourist!很好吃，分量对于两个女生来说略微大一点，但是味道还是很正宗的。虽然里面加了英国化的甜菜根，但是酪梨酱的味道调的很好。环境很好，在爱丁堡王子街（购物区）中心，价格大概是7-9镑不等，很划算。

Plats savoureux, service impecable, deco design et musique sympathique.Seul bémol : toutes les cartes des boissons sont sales et collantes, c'est pas correct envers la Clientèle.Sinon rien à redire.

Muy buena comida y sazón, falta un poco de picante, es limitada en cantidad, y a un precio razonable para el Reino Unido

Serviço rápido e simpático.Comida boa. Desta vez bebi um mojito e estava muito bom, pena ter mto gelo. Partilhamos batata doce, guacamole com chips, entre outros.

El servicio genial, francamente bueno especialmente una camarera española de Segovia. Nos recomendó muy bien y comimos un menú cocinado por cocineros mexicanos y muy bueno. Si pudiese alguna pega sería que no nos avisaron que picaba tanto la comida y tuvimos que dejar algo en el plato. Por eso no les di el 5. El resto muy recomendable

La comida mejicana era lo menos buscado pero estábamos cerca, hemos quedado encantados restaurant muy limpio excelente Decoracion y por sobre todo muy buena atención.

Restaurante muy lindo con decoraciones muy original atención de primera ( Elisabeth) y un menú bastante variado y sabroso, para todo tipo de gusto!!Ps please añaden tamales !!!

Premetto che non mangio spesso messicano (in realtà sono felicemente innamorato della cucina italiana), ma mi sono trovato a mio agio. I miei figli, invece, erano straordinariamente eccitati. Sicuramente l'accoglienza ed il servizio è eccellente. La ragazza (spagnola) si è prodigata per accontertarci in tutto. Ha piegato i piatti ed ha consigliato le pietanze. Anche se, alla fine, per capoccioni come me, è arrivato l'immancabile ragazzo italiano a completare le spiegazioni. Veramente ottimo. Grazie. Francesco

Prima esperienza in un ristorante messicano molto positiva. Lo staff gentile, disponibile e soprattutto paziente, anche con noi che non parliamo benissimo l'inglese. La nostra cameriera, Noelia, è stata davvero alla mano e si è dimostrata molto abile nel consigliarci cibi. Le pietanze erano davvero molto buone e speziate al punto giusto. Locale caratteristico e confortevole.

Excelente mexicano con un monton de platos de muy buena calidad, muchos de ellos pensados para compartir. El staff tambien muy atento y educado, explicando en todo momento el funcionamiento del mismo y las similitudes y diferencias entre los platos. A destacar Noelia, muy atenta y simpática. Para repetir!

Entramos de casualidad y a pesar de haber gente esperando no pudimos terminar la cerveza cuando ya nos habían pasado a una mesa. Local alucinante con la cocina descubierta lo que da mucha confianza y con dos plantas. El mojito estaba delicioso, en su punto ni fuerte ni flojo. Espectaculares la ensalada sobre una concha de maíz y el taco de cochinillo. Muy buen sabor y auténtico!

El restaurant nos gusto mucho; la comida es buena y a un buen valor además muy bien ocupando. Nos atendió Julio y fue muy encantador y amable. Totalmente recomendable!

Excelente restaurante de comida mexicana, comida de calidad y variada en un buen ambiente y con personal muy amable.

A pesar de ser sábado y estar lleno de gente, nos atendieron y sirvieron rápidamente. Nuestra camarera fue Noelia y nos aconsejó a la hora de decidirnos por los platos. Gracia a ella, disfrutamos mucho de la cena y nos atendió estupendamente.

Nos encantó el sitio y lo mejor Eli, un encanto de chica que fue super atenta y agradable. Mi amiga no se encontraba bien del estomago y ella se encargo personalmente de que le cocinasen algo apto para ella. Estaba todo buenísimo! Muy recomendable el brownie

Heel lekkere en eerlijke keuken. Eten kwam wel veel te snel. Wij hadden gekozen voor 6 kleine gerechtjes om te delen. Wij hadden onze aperitief nog niet en daar waren ze al alle 6. Als je hier gaat, bestel om te starten 2 en bestel steeds bij tot je voldaan bent, zo heb j toch iets aan je avond. Wij waren om 1uur buiten, dessert inbegrepen.. maar eten wel heel lekker en prijs kwaliteit echt super!
