I love Wagamama, I eat at them all over Europe. This one was inside the WestQuay mall. We had great service and the food was excellent as always.

Our glasses were dirty, the curry was not hot in temperature, the chicken was reheated and the edamame seeds were water filled and slimy

Lovely food, could never fault Wagas food. However, tried using voucher and got turned down by staff member who asked manager. Stipulated on their website it can be used. But got told an adimandt NO. After complaining to Wagas online the Manager phones to apologise as he was incorrect and for me to go back to the store to refund to then use the voucher. Slight inconvenience from the get go of not being able to use the voucher and the sheer lies coming from the staff and the manager. Maybe they both need some customer care/service skills.

Wagamama is one of my all time favourite places to eat. This particular restaurant is great, it is bright and airy and offers views of the port where we could see MSC Virtuosa depart. The food was delicious and staff super friendly. Would recommend

Speedy service all round took no time at all to be seated and the food wasn’t far behind that. A big shout out to Emily, service with a smile!

They just can’t seem to get it right at the Southampton branch. All other wagamana’s are spot on (Salisbury & Basingstoke 👌🏻). Staff ill informed about the menu, not being attentive, when you want assistance you have to find someone, when you’re in full conversation, you’ll get an arm reaching across you to collect a glass! Scruffy staff. Whilst you’re eating, staff looking at you & then the queue… get a hurry on love & eat your meal 👀 😆. Nah, I always think it will get better but it never does 🤷‍♀️😔 Shame as the food is very good. The service is shocking

I get the food comes as it's cooked but if you sit with a kid and your meal arrives a good 15 minutes before his and he is having noodles that's not quirky service, it's just crap service. Second time recently this has happened at the Soton branch and it's going to stop us coming, we are also pretty sure the ingredient count has dropped and the food is not as good as it used to be, shame as we were devotees and bought the book and everything but feel you've become a bit rubbish lately, apparently I am almost alone in this view though!

Visiting a Wagamamas is always a good bet for us before travelling. We visited this Wagamama was a perfect stop before sailing away from Southampton. The service was pretty standard and what you can expect from Wagamama, not that friendly, not too bad though. The food came quickly, which we were pleased about. The Shirodashi ramen was as tasty as always and the pork wasn’t too fatty, which it can sometimes be.

We have been to this one in Southampton and London Covent Garden and always use the one at Gatwick you cannot fault the food it’s delicious Katsu Chicken and the duck dumplings are the best

Reasonable food, for carnivores and vegetarians, though food comes as it’s cooked so you may find your self eating alone. Nice views for the tables near windows. Staff friendly but hassled at peak times

After several hours driving and a long walk to the centre, we arrived to find none of the escalators on to take us to Wagamamas . However as we were so looking forward to a meal there we persisted and arrived at the door just before 8.45pm to be told we could have a carry out but not a sit down meal as they stopped serving at 8.30pm . We explained about the lifts, long drive etc and that a carry out would be difficult with nowhere to eat it but no they wouldn’t budge. This is absolutely ridiculous and none of the signage says they close for sit down meals at 8.30 ; it says open until 9 on the door and carry outs until 8.45. Staff were rude and offhand and we will not return or recommend to anyone. Why bother eating here when just outside the centre there are a fabulous range of restaurants open late and with lovely service who value their customers.

I used to have my food at Wagamama at Heathrow airport.This time it was Sunday evening we were hungry and all the shops were closed. We decided to have our dinner at Wagamama. My spouse ordered rice noodles soup, it was good fusion with Cidrantro and lemon grass, bokchoy with chicken, prawn etc. It was an interesting combination.We also ordered Ebi katsu (fried prawns) only 5 prawns not worth the price. I ordered Gyoza (vegetable) it was not tasty as in Japan at all. Disappointing!I used to have "wagamama ramen". I thought it would be the same as I had had before. To my surprise,it was nothing like what I had had before. It was a big bowl of Ramen with shell, prawn,chicken, half boiled egg Wakame seaweed and a big portion of ramen. I enjoyed it but it would be nice to have less ramen and added some vegetables would be much better and tastier. Another point, that is important is for Ramen the soup has to be very hot but it was not! and not over boiled the Ramen! Next time I have to ask the chef to do it right.

First time here had been told by daughter it was nice so gave it a go .Ihad pad Thai very tasty full of flavours the wife’s meal was just as good also stuffed pulled pork dumplings .

OMG.... this place has the best food ever!! The noodles are so delicious! The portion sizes are huge, which is really nice while the family is very hungry. My entire family was able to find a dish they loved on the menu here. The entire family really liked this restaurant. It is the best food in the shopping mall, and I'd even say the best in all of Southampton. The prices are very reasonable. The service staff are very friendly and helpful. We will be back to dine here again very soon. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I don’t eat here often.But when i do it is always yummy.The staff was great,smiling and looked after us exceptionally well.Despite being very busy.It makes a huge difference to me.That’s why i will return again when i come to West Quay.

The children really enjoyed the noodles and chicken which was served quickly and we had a salad and a curry. Good value at £37 for the four of us.

We went today to have lunch and we ordered katsu curry chicken and yakisoba chicken. The katsu curry was okay, it wasn't extraordinary, but it was nice. On the other hand the yakisoba didn't have too much flavour, but with some of the chili oil and some soy sauce that they had on the table it was ok. The dessert was amazing. The staff were really helpful and kind. We'll return, for sure.

A family group of four of us had lunch here a few weeks ago. Not terrible, not excellent - just average.Food was OK, service was good. If we’d had more time or knew the area better we would have probably sought out a ‘better’ restaurant, but no real complaints.

First time ever trying a Wagamama restaurant and would definitely head back! Service was great and so was the food! We had chicken ramen and teriyaki salmon which were both very filling dishes due to generous portions, very tasty and plenty of choice

First visit to Wagamama and we really enjoyed it. Gabriella took the time to explain what dishes were suitable for me. She was very pleasant as were all the staff... will be back!

I went for a meal here with my partner on a week day. It was fairly busy, but we were served immediately. The male serving us was very welcoming and made the experience so much better to what it already was. The food did not take long to arrive and was outstanding. Despite the fact that I was full, my partner was not- each one to their own, I guess.

3 friends and myself came here for lunch on bank holiday Monday and all 4 of us decided to get Chicken Katsu curries. After waiting for around 10 minutes, the first one arrived at the table. As a previously frequent Wagamamas customer, I knew that there might be a couple of minutes inbetween the meals coming out. However, between the first one and the second two coming out, 25 minutes had passed, the first one had gone cold and other people (who had arrived and ordered after us) were having Chicken Katsu curries delivered to their table. After asking a member of staff to come over, we simply asked if the first one could be heated up and brought back out with the 4th curry. The member of staff then went to get a manager to speak to us as we were clearly not happy with the service. The manager proceeded to tell us they had been an issue all day some of the frying equipment but this was the first we were hearing about it. The manager then went on the raise his voice, almost shouting, when we asked him if they first one could be reheated and started shouting asking 'if we just wanted a new one instead' and started huffing and puffing which was beyond rude. By the time the 4th curry came out (and the remade 1st one), 40 minutes had passed since we received the first curry at the table. Having rung up and made a complaint previously and spoken over the phone with a senior member of staff, we were promised food vouchers for our painstaking inconvenience. 10 months later, despite having enquired about them and been ignored many times, I am still waiting for those vouchers to, and I quote, "Arrive in my inbox".

Came here with friends, haven't been to a wagamama in a while as I don't think they're terribly good value for money but do love the food so gave in for a treat.Had to wait a while for a table even though there were a few ready, I think they were understaffed personally.Everything was really well cooked and tasty, arrived hot, though as the food still arrives 'as and when' there's no excuse for it not to.Waitress was attentive although certainly seemed hurried, not towards us, but she was certainly dashing around more than earning her money.One thing I noticed, whilst I like ambience, it was positively dim in the restaurant, luckily I knew what I was eating otherwise it could be guess work.I still maintain it's poor value for money, almost £7 for a few chunks of chicken - can literally get a bucket of the stuff directly below at KFC for the same price, near enough.Based on this experience however I'd happily return at some point.

Waiting staff looked as if they could not be bothered, bit of a problem with morale. Food bland and boring Backless benches uncomfortable. pricey for the offering.

We came here before off to the Mayflower theatre as knew we’d get served promptly and we did. Unfortunately for this restaurant they had not had a large delivery so half the menu obliterated! But they had a sign up, staff all very knowledgeable about the items not available & as helpful as they could be in the situation. We ate the prawn pad Thai & SO tasty, both had super clean plates! Love their version of this dish. So 5 stars for handling their predicament so well & still serving us tasty food quickly!

As always enjoyed the food but again and again the service is very bad Ask for cutlery, drinks it doesn’t happen so no more visits to the Southampton Wagamama’s

I went here with my daughter on Saturday evening and we were served very quickly. We both asked to adapt our choices from those offered on the menu and we were served exactly what we wanted. Very tasty and well presented.

I use Wagamama a lot when travelling as I can usually guarantee good food and decent service... it was the same in Southampton. I know what Iike (Salt and Pepper Squid and a Chicken Chilli Ramen) and it was to the usual high standard. I had a green smoothie thing too, it was good. The staff here were very friendly and the food arrived fast... like the title. Just the ticket. I will go again. Thanks to the team there...

Two of us the same dish, both enjoyed our noodles. My drink was overpriced and watery and not worth the 3 quid. The food was good.

Had a lovely lunch with my mum. The food was fresh and delicious. We had pork dumplings to share and two Pad Thais. We also ordered our favourite fresh juices. Even though it was very busy the staff made sure we were looked after.

We used to love this restaurant but the last couple of times we have been there the service has been awful. Tonight we were ignored for a good 15 minutes then after our drinks were taken we didn’t actually get them. In the end we left as we didn’t want to wait when the service was so bad.

A lovely wagamammas where you can sit as a couple rather then the long benches they often have in the chain. Delicious food, amazing vegan options, lush juices and very friendly staff! Often visiti with friends and family :-)

its been a long time since we've eaten inside Westquay but whilst ring shopping we decided to try the refurbished food court. although it was fairly busy for a Monday, we were served quickly and enjoyed Pad Thai and chicken chilli Ramen noodles. I wouldn't rush back with so much choice locally but the food was very good.

I've been there several times and service was always brilliant. Food is always very tasty and fresh. Free green tea is a great idea, but my favourite are the fresh juices, yummy!

yhis was our first visit to a Wagamama restaurant, we enjoyed our meal and the surroundings. The waitress was very cheeful with out ever being overbearing.

I loved the food here and was totally worth waiting in the line. However, I feel as though they are very understaffed and cannot clean the tables fast enough to get people in and then serve us in a reasonable time.

Never been before but very impressed with the speed of service and the vast selection of dishes taht can be amended to your own taste.They were happy to supply me with just the broth as i have eating problems and at the end of the meal i found they had not charged me. The others that ate were very impressed with the food they chose.

Had a lovely meal here, but the service was so slow. It wasn't particularly busy but everything took ages. When we asked for the bill, it took that long we put our coats on to give a hint but still nothing so we stood up ready to leave and just paid at the till by the door. No tip was left.

Love this place for mains. Usually have prawn firecracker and the yasai Katsu Curry and they are amazing, them two dishes never lets me down. Customer service is always good, despite being busy most of the time.

On trips to Southampton's Ikea we often eat in its restaurant, for convenience as much as for the food. This time we needed to go into the shopping centre too and decided to try Wagamama for a change. It proved a good choice for a quick supper. It's at the top of lots of stairs (and may be a lift?) and towers over the rest of the eateries below. Though don't go for the view, unless you like looking at that sort of thing, But do go for the food. Twice the price of an Ikea meal, and very enjoyable. I had chicken and prawn pad thai, my wife had teryaki salmon soba and we shared starter of stir fried broccoli, bok choi, with a garlic and soy sauce. We'll do something similar next time and look forward to it and in the meantime, we'll try the local Wagamama too.

Good food, excellent service. Competitive prices. We too two youngsters aged two and five years and they really enjoyed the food, and the crayons!

Good childrens meal. However the adult meals were disapointing. Too much chilli and not enough other flavour. Lots of noodles and not a lot else.

As we only had an hour Wagamama was the right choice. Quick , friendly service at a very busy lunchtime. Bill brought out promptly. Both had the chicken and prawn yaki soba, two clean plates resulted, very tasty.

The title says it all really. Each time we go and eat here, we are not disappointed. The food is fresh and served by really nice staff with a smile! Friendly and professional waiting staff who care about what they do! The kitchen staff obviously enjoy and care about what they do too, as they produce well presented quality dishes.If there was one thing I would change, it would be for them to get better fridges for the wine, which is not chilled properly. The beers are, but not the wine.

We went for a simple family meal and everything was great. In particular the apple juice for £1.75 on the kids menu was real pressed apple juice. What a lovely surprise. Otherwise we all ate all our dishes, yum yum. Mine came with some authentic kimchee which was great.

The food was ok, however my friend has coeliac disease and therefore cannot eat gluton, whilst there are gluton free options they are limited, not only this but her food arrived 30 minutes after everyone elses so we had all finished. The gluton free chicken ramen was also bland.

We had a great meal having gone early on a Saturday night. However, by the time is got to ordering a second drink and desert it too absolutely ages! The queue waiting for a table was growing but the staff did not seem to be coordinated and they ran out of glasses!

I love the katsu curry at Wagamama but I don’t love the cost. The portion size is too small, as was my starter which was duck wraps but was tiny. My main was half a plate filled with a few salad leaves, a very small breaded chicken breast, some rice and sauce. Overall quite disappointing but it is a lovely flavour. The restaurant is trendy but I think will be short lived if they don’t address the charges for their food. There are other places to dine and they are likely to be my preference in the future.

I have used this restaurant on numerous occasions and have never left disappointed. The food and service are second to none and my 14 yr old Son loves the food. I try to sample different restaurants and all types of food, but this place keeps drawing me back. Fantastic place to eat ++++++++

I keep to a very strict low carb diet as part of my training programme. This was one of the only places my coach had allowed me to eat out in a month. Also the first date me and my partner had gone on in a month after being busy. Staff were friendly, met and greeted by a young lad with a strong beard game (fair play) who was quick to accommodate us & talk us through the menu. Very welcoming. Disappointed that first of all my partner was served the wrong main meal/ she had ordered the prawn and chicken yakisoba. This was quickly changed when approached to who I presume was the manager and a "mix up" of tables /rookie mistake for a fast paced restaurant; but never the less changed within seconds. I then had waited twenty minutes and my main meal had not been served. My partner was waiting for my food to be served so we could eat as a couple, not alone. In the end the wait was too long (If we was told there would be a wait, then we would completely understand) . We left the restaurant after approaching the manager and saying to I wanted to pay for the starter and drinks, he asked if he could check on the food for us but I hadn't eaten in 5 hours. So we left. Very disappointed as I was very looking forward to this and now feel like we can't return.

My sister and I love it in this chain, we know what to expect and love the free green tea which gets topped up. I tried a different dish this time, although my sister ALWAYS has the same dish. The staff member was very friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and delicious and the green tea topped up. Looking down at the long long queue for the fast food it was unimaginable to think that people choose KFC and McDs over this wholesome, fragrant, freshness. Oh well!I thoroughly recommend this outlet.

First time to Wagamama and I was with my elderly mum. We both chose noodle dishes, my Pad Thai was really fabulous. The venue was fine, it's a new shopping centre, easy to get seated & friendly helpful staff.

We went to this place with friends not having been to one before.It is a nice place in the retail park. Plenty of shopping and cinema. It was friendly and clean. Plenty of food. This is a good place to visit if you like this type of food.

Prima eten in het hele drukken winkelcentrum. Beetje drukke omgeving veel heen en weer geloop. Dame die ons deed bedienen was erg vriendelijk en dacht zeker goed mee!Het drinken werd door iemand anders gebracht kapotte spijkerbroek, piercing, bosten vielen er bijna uit.....Eten was overigens prima!

Restaurant within West Quay shopping centre opens at 11am and fills up pretty quickly. The food is very good and full of flavour. Beer cold and open plan restaurant with small tables or large long shared tables. We will definatly eat in this chain of restaurant again.

I went here for my birthday lunch with my fiance and it was a very nice meal and the green tea was free and they even let me have mine cold because I don't like hot drinks.The waiter was very attentive and polite and it was such a nice atmosphere.

Yo estaba comiendo sola, como me estaba alejado de los negocios, pero el personal no me hacen sentir incómodo, eran encantadores. Pedí un té helado y melocotón grande Pollo katsu curry. Era precioso y me llenó el borde que no comimos nada incluso si lo intenté.

The staff here are fast, efficient, thorough and make the lunch stop in the middle of a shopping day out so good. Dishes are always fresh and full of flavour. I love the recommendations from staff. Great wine list.

popped in for a quick mother/ daughter supper, prior to going out. very quick service, pleasant waitress, i still do not like the way the food comes out in dribs and drabs. if you are not dining alone, you all want the food at the same time. this really lets the restaurant down.

Estado aquí antes y era realmente bueno, unfortuanity no esta vez. El servicio era muy lento, el personal era muy amable, pero sus pies apuraron off (restaurante no estaba tan lleno! ). Tuve la katsu curry que era muy básica. Pedimos un plato de albóndigas, que nunca apareció, fue descontado de la factura después de hacer una queja. No es la mejor de las experiencias, no volveremos en cualquier momento pronto.

Fui el domingo la hora del almuerzo, fue al instante y sentado al lado de una recibió una camarera simpática. Mi pareja tiene un montón de alergias a los alimentos, así que el director se acercó y se sentó con ella y la perfecta hecha de almuerzo. Disfrutamos de la calidad de la comida muy bien y rápido para ser servido. El personal era amable y profesional. Se lo recomendaría a todos

Comimos aquí durante un viaje de compras de domingo a West Quay, sabiendo que la comida en cualquier Wagamama es buena.Yo que respeto, no nos decepcionó en esta ocasión.Sin embargo, el almuerzo fue estropeado por el mal servicio - el personal era desorganizado, hizo varios errores con nuestra orden y algunos de los artículos de comida eran entregados tarde e. g. el acompañamiento que trajeron a la mesa larga después de que habíamos terminado nuestro plato principal.Esta fue la primera vez que me había ido a un Wagamama donde no sentí estaba justificada una propina.

Vine aquí con un amigo antes de ir a ver un evento en el Guidhall. Hemos estado antes, así que podíamos confiar en la comida rápida y fresca que aún sabe delicioso! Nos dieron dos formas de donburi y la mía era como un plato de arroz frito con huevo gigante que me encantó! ! También probamos uno de los entrantes y luego nos dimos el capricho de un cheesecake de cada uno. En general era muy rápido y excelente comida.

Mi novio y yo visitamos hace un par de semanas y disfrutamos de la comida que nos dieron. Sin embargo, cuando mi novio pidió a la camarera si podíamos tener cubiertos los palillos así como ella dijo no, no, no, no Rechazando con firmeza y sonaba bastante desagradable. Los dos estábamos un poco contrariado por esto, pero me pareció que podría ser una broma, así que esperamos ver. Regresó con un cuchillo y tenedor para mí, pero mi novio para niños palillos como ella explicó que era permitido un cuchillo y tenedor, pero mi novio era sólo admiten la chuleta para niños. En este punto estábamos bastante avergonzados y confundidos. Luego caminó de nuevo y volvió con cubiertos para mi novio, pero en ese punto nos avergonzados por el chiste machistas y no muy divertido, ella hizo reír después finalmente darnos la cubertería y explicó que ella no tiene un sentido del humor, pero la mayoría de las personas indican que cuando están diciendo una broma y nos hizo sentir muy incómoda y dar tiempo para la comida para ir mientras espera el frío cubiertos. Sin embargo, el ambiente es muy agradable ya que está por encima del resto de West Quay, así que no es demasiado ruidoso y echoey.

Just had a quick lunch during my shopping trip, didn't feel uncomfortable flying solo. Food was good and serve was speedy. I would recommend this over the other fast food options available as it all looks very fresh and healthy.

Wagamama food as expected was the same as usual. Nothing outstanding and the service was average at best. Enough staff but they were not too bothered about the customers.

Visitamos aquí el 4 de enero de 2017 con mi hermana. He estado antes, pero era mi primera vez hermanas. Por desgracia, mi hermana no como el plato que pedimos, así que llamamos a una camarera y explicado, mi hermana me preguntó si podía pedir algo diferente y ya que era su culpa que ella pagaría por el plato no podía comer. Ella lo disfrutó de la comida que pedimos la nueva. Cuando terminamos de cenar nos decidimos que no necesitamos un postre como estábamos llenos así que pedimos la factura. Cuando recibimos la factura la comida mi hermana ordenados y no comimos estaba descontado de la factura. Tanto mi hermana y yo quedamos muy impresionados con este y sentía que necesitaba ser debidamente anotado. He estado varias veces y mi hermana sin duda regresaría de nuevo y ambos países se lo recomendaría a amigos y familiares.

Had a wonderful chicken meal during the after Xmas period. Very friendly staff. We had four different dishes. Everybody was happy.

Me and my friend popped in on Boxing Day afternoon and I was presently surprised. My friend suggested it as I had never been. Food was out quick, was lovely and service was great. Really friendly lovely staff. We defo be back :)

It was truly an evening not to forget, especially on my father's birthday. We had an all sort of perfect eats including noodles, ribs and drinks, etc. At one time, I even tried a cup of green tea. Tasted all right.

Not only was service prompt and food delicious, but the staff were so kind, and really went above and beyond to make our dining experience worth it. Proper holiday spirit.

Fuimos un sábado por la tarde. El lugar estaba lleno. Nos dieron en la cola y esperamos estar sentado. Yo podía ver que estaban presionados. Pedimos nuestras comidas. Se olvidaron de uno de ellos. Orden colocada de nuevo. Los platos no fueron tan buenos como aquellos que sirven en otros restaurantes. El pescado estaba bastante seco y duro. Espero se apresuraban para satisfacer la demanda y no pasar tanto tiempo y atención como debieran haber hecho.También tuvimos que esperar bastante tiempo para que llegue la factura. En general, no es el estándar que hemos llegado a esperar de Wagamama.

Primera vez comiendo aquí y cumplió con todas las expectativas, incluso superior a algunos! La comida estaba bien pero me jugado seguro y fuimos para el pollo katsu curry pero mis amigos dijeron que sus comidas eran buenos! El tamaño de las porciones eran adecuadas, pero un poco caro. 7 / 10 volvería.

Me fui de allí con mi novio en mi cumpleaños de este año, la comida que pedimos era bastante caliente, pero a los dos nos encanta. En principio, no mencionar que es mi cumpleaños, después de la gran comida, y quería pagar la factura, la camarera nos preguntó si nos gustaría un postre, nos dieron una tarta experiencias en casa para mi cumpleaños. Vine aquí para un almuerzo de un viernes y a pesar de todo West Quay se llena, nos las arreglamos para conseguir una mesa. Bien donde debería empezar. Mi marido y yo son asiduas en este gran restaurante en el Quay West. Siempre nos da una increíble bienvenida cuando comimos aquí, el personal es tan amable y obviamente disfrutar de su trabajo. Nada es demasiado problema y la comida es siempre deliciosa y plomos de aperitivos calientes siempre sabroso y fresco mi favorito chili de calamar y las bolas para mi husbsnd. Siempre es una decisión difícil en la principal como todo suena delicioso, pero siempre tengo la misma carne buri, dom nunca decepciona, pero yo siempre digo que la próxima vez voy a probar algo diferente, pero que nunca hago! Mi marido intenta platos diferentes cada vez y siempre dice lo sabroso es que también tienen un cuidador con nosotros que mira después de mi marido y él ama mama. waga El personal es atento y seco aunque siempre muy concurrido nunca tienes la sensación de prisa. We went for a treat lunch out on Friday. The chilli squid was delicious, but I ordered a chicken with rice dish, and when it came I was very worried to see pink chicken I spoke to our waitress who said no it's not undercooked but marinated, and she wouldn't take it back needless to say I didn't eat the chicken! Very poor service!!

Lovely 😊 service and totally got my switching out request (duck for brisket). The teriyaki donburi (asked for brown arborio rice) is my absolute fav followed by Katsu banana with salted caramel ice cream.

after finishing early our meeting with some clients in Southampton,me and the wife had some time on our side and decided to shop at west quay shopping centre.after several hours of shopping we were hungry and decided to dine at wagamama.the food was average.the teppanyaki dish needed a bit more seasoning.my wife's tamari chicken was okay.the ebi katsu was nice while the wok-fried greens had too much garlic.the service was good but the food was unfortunately average,not quite lively food (with soul)
