Great food at reasonable prices.

Ashley and Tyler absolutely top notch service. They were even helping an elderly gent who had fallen over outside the restaurant, took him inside and got him a hot drink and an ambulance. Love to see it

Food came so quickly seeing as they had just opened! thankyou to all the servers on shift on Saturday morning- we had a lovely time due to everyone’s optimism even though it was so early! xx having two kids meals instead of having to pick between two dishes is always the way.

Ashley was amazing today. The food was excellent but what stood out most was her service. I’ve got allergies and she was so careful about them. I’ll definitely be going back thanks Ashley. The manager lady was very lovely too, helped me with a salad.

I usually find Wagamamas is consistently good but the food I had at the Spinningfields restaurant tonight was particularly nicely cooked. Probably the nicest I've had. Ashley was a great server, she couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Thoroughly tasty meal. Satisfied customer!

Quieter than the other Manchester wagamamas

Came here for a quite dinner. Liked it wasn't to full but could see staff were attentive. Definetly recommend the cherry blossom gin, chicken gyoza and yaki udon.

We always have a brilliant time at this wagamamas. This time though was fantastic and Eric was a great waiter with so much enthusiasm and happiness 💜💜 HIGHLY recommend!!

The best Wagamama in Manchester

We come here fairly frequently and the food always lives up to a good standard. I always eat from the vegan menu which is going from strength to strength. The icing on the cake though is the service we always receive from Ashley, one of the best servers in all the Wagamama’s I’ve been to and there are quite a few. What makes her so special? She greets you with the best smile and welcome, is very perceptive to the needs of the customer which means you get great service. All Hail Ashley! 🤗

Look - I love noodles so no brainer but this review is for the staff, particularly a waitress called Ashley. Great service, professionalism and friendliness. Solo eater - looked after brilliantly - thanks Ashley.

Came for food on an evening before going to the theatre and it was very cold inside and the service was just as cold also. It was quiet and the staff seemed more interested in chatting to one another than the few diners that were seated. It was very transactional from start to finish which is a shame as the food was quite good.

I was welcomed and left at a table, and that’s it. For 20 minutes, nobody ask for my order. Staff happily take orders and send food to other customers, and all ignored me. Maybe because I’m alone or I look Asian? I don’t know. I said excuse me loudly a few times, yet staff seem to be all deft and ignored me. Eventually, after 20 minutes, I had to leave the place feeling awful. Don’t come to this place if you are on your own or do not look English.

I Loved the new Shitake soul bowl, delisous. I ordered tap water twice but never got any so 3 stars for service. My daughter had katsuri chicken and said our local Tokyo takeaway in levenshulme make it much tastier.

7 years ago I wrote “Casual and attentive at the same time, good selection of tasty food. Happy and helpful staff. Clean” I would like to share my recent experience at a restaurant where I dined with two others. Unfortunately, the booth table was not cleared when we arrived, which made it challenging for us as two of us have mobility issues and could not sit on the wooden bench. Moreover, it was quite arduous to grab anyone's attention to take our orders for food and drinks. To add to our disappointment, we received green tea that was either served with dust in the pot and lukewarm or with an abundance of leaves and boiling hot. When I approached the manager with both pots at the end of the evening, I received a dismissive response, "I did not make either, and it's free. What else do you expect?" As a result, I have revised my rating from 5 to 1, and I believe even one rating is too generous.

We had a birthday gathering for kids and adults, it was amazing! They got us in with no issues, gave the celebrating kids cakes on the house, food came quickly and exactly as ordered including quite a lot of swapping ingredients which they had no trouble with. Service was really good, nothing was too much and atmosphere was great and quiet so you could talk and enjoy your food. Will defo come back and highly recommend this specific branch. 👍

Made an order on Deliveroo. Half the order turned up. I called this Wagamama to ask if they knew anything. The person on the phone laughed whilst escalating to their manager. I couldn’t believe how rude and dismissive the service was

Visited on a Tuesday night which was quiet (the only reason I marked the atmosphere as a 3) Service was pleasant and friendly although a little bit slow. Food was flavoursome and hot.

Lovely restaurant, great service and food

At here in Jan ‘24 whilst on a business trip. Wagamama is good when you’re travelling alone because you can either take your time or be quick, and staff are good at making you feel welcome. Food this time was good as usual, served quickly whilst tasting fresh. In and out in half an hour. Definitely would go back.

Wagamama always has great food. This location was no different. I had the Steak Soba which was great. Service was ok with a friendly waiter. Atmosphere, due to the quietness probably, was lacking and so the street food vibe was missing.

Food was lovely and Eric was so lovely made us feel so welcome; overall super good service.

It was a quiet evening when we arrived and food arrived quickly. The food was tasty however we ordered some of the mocktails and they didn’t live up to mocktails available in other restaurants. Wouldn’t recommend ordering them but other than that was a nice time.

Another gorgeous meal at Wagamama! It was very busy between the local pantomime preformances at the Opera House, but our sever Ashley was absolutely fantastic. Great food and great service. Only problem is my daughters discovered they love Gyozas too, so I didn't get any.....

Staff were kind and quick, the food came out extremely quickly and tastes amazing - as usual. I'd definitely recommend trying either the Beef Brisket Ramen or the Hot Pot as they are delicious! Also the Blossom/Sakura Lemonade is amazing too!

A very nice location, and very tasty food with lots of vegetarian and vegan options, and free green tea! My only reservations are that the portions were a little stingy for the price, and my starter was every so slightly cold in the middle despite being charred on the outside, it also took a little while to be seated, until we were helped by a lovely bartender, the manager also seemed a little intense. All of this could be forgiven if the restaurant was full, but it was half empty, which makes me wonder if they're understaffed? Despite this, they're all little niggling complaints, and I'd still recommend Wagamama if you're in the area.

Perfectly located just off Deansgate on Spinningfields Square. We were given a nice Waga welcome and a choice of seats. For our meal, we chose bao buns with pork filling and a spicy sauce and the ginger chicken noodle dish. The food was hot and tasty and the portions were quite sufficient. The staff were polite and helpful. The restaurant was spotlessly clean, as were the ladies loos. It was disappointing that the gents loos were absolutely disgusting this time. There was obviously a blockage and one of the urinals was blocked and overflowing with urine. This is not normal for Wagamama. But hey, it's all about the food, so one blip in years of visits is fine and we can't wait to return.

This was without doubt the worse meal I have ever had , the whole experience was terrible from start to finish. The service was appalling. The food was worse than awful. It was an experience, but I hope never to have again. My wife was physically sick on the way out.

Whenever I come here I order beef ramen but today I wanted something different, and on the waiter's recommendation I ordered a chicken katsu salad, and I have to say that it was one of the best salads I've ever tasted, fresh, well-dressed, clean , Enough quantity to continue the day without heaviness, the waiter Eric was very attentive, he made an effort that at all times I did not miss anything. Relaxed place to eat. I will return as always a success.
