1st day in Manchester Not eat a lot during the day. And here come .... The Chicken Curry Katsu : big plate of fried chicken , with rice , curry sauce and little salad. And portion of chicken gyoza ! The place is good, pretty big and clean. Aaron was our waiter: available and kind. Was definitely a good time at it.

Ashley was an incredible waiter. She took great care of me. I told her I was a little tight for time as I was catching a train, so she took my order right away (yes I know the menu 😆). Ashley was funny, friendly and super efficient which made solo dining a lot better. Food was great as always. Thank you!

Extremely nice staff yesterday evening! I walked in as I was waiting for a train that got delayed and was running out a battery on my phone. But more than that, I was in a need for a good meal! I asked at the door if there is any chance to get a table with a plug and that I understand that it is just me and the restaurant looks busy. Everyone was extremely nice, got me a table with a plug and I'm going to dream about that ramen for the rest of my life...or at least until I go to wags and have it again :D

Really enjoyed the whole experience. Firecracker chicken was perfect as was Ashley the waitress.

Always an amazing experience to this wagamamas. Chloe served us today and she was incredible- very sweet and gave us amazing service we loved her! The food as usual was 10/10 and general atmosphere was great! If i could give it more than 5 stars i would thanks chloe :)

Been here so many times and never had a bad experience. Lovely staff and lovely food, i like the environment and friendly atmosphere. my only dislike to the place is the super steep stairs to enter, but the place and food make up for it.

Lovely waitress, I think her name was Matilda, very attentive and thorough when checking allergies and ensuring food was all okay.

The ramen and noodles are abysmal. Instant noodles taste much better, like Ichiran and even Ajisan. They don't even taste ok. Zero flavour, they are bad. The ramen broth was like dish water. They taste nothing like what they are supposed to. Eating here was a chore. We left most of them. The jucied drinks were good. The fried green veg was ok.

Got served by Ray he was super helpful what a guy.

Never fails us. The food was fresh and delicious and just what we needed.

Food was lovely but one dish was delayed, our very efficient server Thandi kept an eye on it and made sure we were okay despite the long wait. Excellent service and the food overall was lovely as always.

Ray my server was excellent and all of the staff are very friendly. The food is amazing and when I phoned afterwards because I had a slight issue with the bill (totally my fault) it was dealt with in a very kind and professional manner.

Came with my daughter who has eaten at wagamana before but I hadn't so decided to try it...from the moment we walked in I noticed how clean the restaurant was. We were asked if there was any allergy and we said yes my daughter had a nut allergy so the server explained she would have to get the Manager to take our order.This is when Kisha introduced herself, what a lovely young lady she was. she took time to explain everything to us and asked if we were OK and understood everything. From the start to finish she was very attentive and informative. she makes you want to return..Keep up the great work ..oh and the food was absolutely delicious and piping hot ..

As a regular customer to wagamama, today was a bit disappointing. A few ingredients in my dish was missing... like spring onions and a very little quantity of kimchi and coriander. Kindly take this matter a little serious. Quality of the food is top notch, no doubt. Missing ingredients are a bummer :(

Visit Wagamas fairly often and I am never disappointed. The food is always delicious, the service is quick and I like the option to order online too. Incredible variety of food options, and the restaurants are always gorgeous.

Visitado a las 4 pm un sábado. Extrañamente, mis albóndigas y el plato principal llegaron juntos, pero mi esposa tuvo una espera adicional de 20 minutos para su sopa. Había terminado de comer mi curry cuando llegó la sopa de mi esposa. Esperábamos disfrutar de una comida juntos. Buena comida, pero no volveremos a visitar.

Viernes por la noche en un lugar junto a la arena AO. La parte delantera de la casa era muy servicial y nos aconsejó una mesa sería de aproximadamente 5 a 10 minutos. Basándonos en esto, nos quedamos y empezamos a navegar por el menú. Después de ser mostrados a nuestra mesa, pedimos una bebida y comida. Llegó el primer plato, seguido de las bebidas. Emma nos aconsejó que mi pareja comida estaba siendo "plateado" y necesitaría unos 5 minutos más. Este plato llegó después de haber terminado el mío. Se dejó fuera de nuestra factura debido al retraso, que se ofreció como la solución. La comida es decente, pero la prestación de servicios lamentablemente lo decepcionó. El equipo trabaja duro y claramente en un ambiente muy ocupado.

I am incredibly disappointed with the service here for a variety of reasons. 1. My partner is COELIAC which we made clear to our server and a manger. We ordered from the gluten free menu. Leaving here, the food made my partner incredibly ill and sick. Coeliac disease is incredibly serious and to not have be handled with care, by a business that is praised for it's gluten free options is upsetting. I will say we were dealt with by a manager, which is something I suppose. However is service was awful. Our plates were practically slammed onto the table as the server rushed by with no communication or anything whilst giving us our food. It took 15 minutes to get a glass of water (I should note I could count a maximum of 5 other tables and a significant amount of staff wondering about) and when we finally received it, minutes later it was quite literally snatched out of my partners hand because it wasn't prepared by a manger (I appreciate the caution here with allergens, but to literally snatch, not follow protocol in the first place and after all that, the food itself to make him ill would be laughable if not due to the serious nature). The food was mediocre and Luke warm, not like good experiences I have had at other Wagamamas chains. I had the Katsu Chicken, the chicken was chewy and had an awful texture to it with minimal flavour, I was lucky to find in the odd bite. Dishes came out with a significant time difference and I had to chase up multiple times on a side dish of greens we finally got as we were almost finished. On our way out, they chased us about payment (We paid through the app and showed the receipt). The staff (Especially the manager) were very rude whilst dealing with this. I am understanding of if it appears payment wasn't taken, it has to be dealt with. But there is a way, we were very polite, showed our receipt and came back as ordered and waited patiently. It was resolved down to the fact it was an error on their behalf. Overall, I am very disappointed to say the least.

It was a nice dining experience. The service provided by Cheryl is friendly and smart. The Restaurant has a great atmosphere and clean environment. The food was served hot and everything was freshly picked. They have a high standard of food plating, and I like the heart they put in on having the chicken slices covered by the Katsu curry, but still holding the chicken a crunchy texture to serve. The only concern was the food from another dish has overcooked, one side of few pieces tofu turned black and charred. I guessed they would have took them out from the dish before serving if any one of them has noticed that. The other thing is maybe just a personal preference, I like the Edamame in garlic and salt seasoning, it would be much nicer to have a little bit less salt in it. But overall the food was delicious, I will go visit them again to try different things.

We couldn't book ahead, but they managed to seat our party of 6 people straight away. The waiter was very helpful, especially to my friend who had an oyster allergy. I got a duck and noodle dish (forget the name), and it was yummy. Fresh ingredients, came out hot and in good time. I liked that you could scan a QR code and split the bill. Would come back

Walked straight out. Rude rude idiot tasked with "welcoming" customers thought he was evacuating a sinking ferry. Bellowing at customers. My god, train these people will you.

We’ve been here twice now. Such welcoming lovely attentive customer service. We had a few different servers, they were all on the ball, helped with our needs. The food, well just absolutely amazing, delicious, fresh. They catered for my fussy 11 yr old, very much appreciated. My daughter wanted a second portion it was so nice, basic noodles & chicken. One portion was more than enough as they are so generous portions. Cannot wait to go back 👌🫶🏽

Didn’t get a chance to say a big thank you to Chloe! Super lovely and made sure that my pregnant little self was accommodated for and comfortable. Food was great as always, definitely satisfied the cravings! Thank you again <3

Really friendly service and well-looked after by Keesha. She dealt with my gluten allergy and recommended dishes. The summer menu is delicious and loved the burnt Basque cheesecake. I know I can always rely on Waggas to deliver tasty gluten-free food and l really enjoyed the North Atlantis G.F. IPA. Thanks Keesha and team for another enjoyable evening.

We went for an early dinner before cinema and Wagamama did not disappoint. We were looked after by Manager Kisha who went out of her way to make the experience amazing. We placed our order (3of us) and it arrived very quickly. Tasted incredible. It was about half full but plenty of room and it all worked like a well oiled machine. Very impressed. Had chicken gyoza and hot pot.... Loved it all. Thank you Wagamama Printworks.... We will be back soon. 15 out 10 on all counts.

Came to this branch a few weeks ago with my friend before Parklife and we received the best service ever! We were sat down by the lovely Matt who was very friendly and good crack. Vicky came to take our order and was very attentive. The food was delicious and we loved the strawberry mojitos drinks. The staff were very helpful and positive and the vibes around the restaurant seem to reflect that. We had Charlie the manager take our payment and we explained how pleased we were with our service. Will definitely come again ❤️‍🔥

This in two parts. I visited on Thursday June 20 to get take away. Met Charlie who took the order but asked me 2x how I was doing. Good reader of people. Order was handled. Did 1600 km to Aberdeen and Skye and back at 5am and brought my kid in for end of term dinner at 5 pm yesterday. Charlie again who did a great job on allergies and now the kid gets how important the kitchen knows. Nathan carried the rest of the service with a notable quiet and steady service grace. Back to Canada grateful for gluten +dairy free menus with allergen protocols as a normal day. Wagamama is a sure stop whenever I visit. Thanks Charlie and Nathan!

Great food, good service, nice atmosphere

As a chain restaurant, the offerings are homogeneous and since I like the food, I visit when I can. However this Wagamama's restaurant left a lot to be desired. The location isn't the most accessible. One must descend two flights of stairs to access the restaurant, or otherwise take a (very small) elevator down. Service was quite slow despite it not being a busy period (I arrived at 15.00 on a Thursday afternoon). I had to seat myself and only after I did so, did a waiter introduce herself. The most disappointing element of this particular visit was the portion sizings. I ordered the salmon sashimi and pickled mooli starter which in the menu, shows 6 generous slices of sashimi. The reality is somewhat different. Imagine a normal slice of sashimi, which had then been cut diagonally from the side, so that the sashimi slice was still rectangular, but one side was much thinner than the other. One slice of sashimi sliced into two. Repeat with two more sashimi pieces and viola! Just with jesus and the fish and loaves of bread, you've magically turned doubled the number of servings using the same amount of sashimi. I've heard of shrinkflation but you'd think that corporations would understand that consumers are well aware of these practices and it irritates them endlessly. Shameless cost-cutting exercises to maximise shareholder return. Oh, and the ginger-nojito claimed to have coriander seeds but I saw no evidence of that. I won't be visiting Wagamama again. Not this branch at least.

Been coming here since it first opened, it's a great place for a variety of Japanese food, honestly the vegan/vegetarian sweet potato katsu is PHENOMENAL! I'm not even vegetarian and it's so good, plus the rest of the food is on point. I took a group of my friends and we ordered a great variety, I've no complaints really!

Went there due to a rainy day and not wanting to look any further. The waitress was so lovely, I had never been at Wagamamas before, but my friend had. The waitress explained how it works and recommended some customer favourites and I was delightfully surprised.

I had a brilliant Ramen in this restaurant after the Liverpool versus Manchester match. I was with my 8 year old son and we had a really warm and genuine greeting by Chloe. I have to say , the food was great but the staff were so nice and authentic and topped off a great trip to Manchester. Next time I’m in Manchester I will defo go there. Chloe and the team are a real credit to Wagamama and I do hope management realise how good their staff are. Thanks , Denis

Food is good but overpriced, unfortunately can't do anything about that. The service and atmosphere make up for it. Our waiter matt was funny, quick and attentive, all you ask for in service really, need more waiters like that.

After a previously disappointing experience at the Birmingham site, our server Nathan was a brilliant help, assisting to choose dishes we really enjoyed. His knowledge and attention to detail really stood out. The kitchen staff and chefs quickly put together our chosen dishes which were delicious. Whilst we were there, there was a somewhat delicate incident in the restaurant which the whole staff dealt with calmly, showing great patience and care. Top marks to Nathan and his team 👍

For a large group, Waggamma is an exellent option: food comes out as soon a it is ready, and it always tastes amazing! Charlie, the manager, was incredible in booking us in, making sure we were sat together, attentive to individual needs, and he and his team went above and beyond. I wil definitely be back!!

The food was delicious. We were lucky when we got here because there was only one couple in the queue in front of us, but within 15 minutes of sitting the queue was building up. By the time we left people were queuing all the way up the stairs and to the door. I would go back, but I wouldn't queue for that long.

We visited here last night, staff were very friendly especially Elly who was super helpful, informative and chirpy. Service was very quick and the food was amazing. Big shout of the chefs the place was absolutely rammed but they still managed to make beautiful food! Would definitely recommend and will go back when we visit Manchester again.

The food at was undeniably delicious, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. However, the service left much to be desired. Despite the friendly staff, the pace was slow, causing some frustration among diners. While the ambiance was pleasant and the presentation of dishes was impeccable, the delay in service detracted from the overall dining experience. With a bit more attention to timing and efficiency, has the potential to be a top-notch dining destination.

I had a great time at this Wagamama branch, the server Blythe was great and her service was amazing.

Fifty pounds for a sticky table, forgotten items, no drink upsales, watery and tasteless broth. Red onions and spring onions are cheap, I get it, but thickly sliced by the handful - who at Head Office is designing these dishes? Someone who clearly has never sat and eaten any of it. Terrible.

The food is very good and Harry was very attentive to us. The place is nice, clean and not very expensive. I totally recommend it.

Been here quite a few times, and the service is always amazing, the food is great too! Chicken and prawn Pad Thai is my favourite. We came here last night very late for a quick meal and our server was so friendly and we were looked after very well, thank you again!

Very poor quality chicken. It looked like pre cooked package meat that was so dry it just crumbled, sides were cold and also overcooked. Unfortunately this will be the last visit to this chain as most meals are externally underwhelming these days from multiple sites.

Much like our local Wagamama in Lincoln, this one in the Printworks building is first class - Staff are friendly, chatty and efficient, there's a nice buzz around the restaurant, and the food is spot on.

Brilliant, but slightly more pricey than I think it should be

We've not been to Wagamama in years (prob 7 yrs) and I went there with my husband as it is conveniently near the Printworks cinema. We were blown away by the food and service. The food was tasty and fresh, just as we remembered it. Our server Emily was amazing. She was friendly and professional without being overbearing. Needless to say, we'll be back!

Another solid Wagamama experience. We had eaten at a couple of London locations in the past which we enjoyed so we happy to see one in Manchester. Service was excellent and I appreciated their handling of food allergies. We all enjoyed our dinner.

Amazing food and staff ! I loved it !!

Terrible experience!!! They messed up my order. Took a very long time for them to fix their mistake (20 mins) charged me for a large lemonade when I got a regular, and forgot my coleslaw extra. They then added random items to the bill. What a disgrace. Has ruined wagamamas for me.

First time visiting wagamama. If im honest, it's not for me. I had the Katsu curry, and i was not a fan. It's very boring. Staff were brilliant, good service just not for me.

I've avoided all Wagamama for a long time, no idea why, it's great! Healthy options, great staff in this one and a bit different from my usual places to eat. Will definitely be an option in future
