Wagamama Glasgow Fort Shopping Park in Glasgow City

Estuve allí el sábado pasado y fuimos muy cuesta abajo todo eran entrantes insípidos y principales. Tiene que devolver la coliflor bang bang dos veces que se quemó y se cocinó demasiado, el curry katsu tiene el filete de pan más delgado y más pequeño que se ha probado directamente desde la bolsa congelada. El ramen de pollo con chile no tenía sabor y tenía que añadir cargas de aceite de chile. ¡Desperdicie dinero y no volverá!

Después de una tarde de compras en The Fort fuimos a Wagamama para cenar. El restaurante estaba ocupado y una pequeña cola esperando, solo tuvimos que esperar unos 10 minutos para una mesa. Mi esposa y yo comimos el plato de arroz gochujang de pollo. Mi era muy agradable, pero no parecía tan sabroso como la última vez que lo comimos, también demasiada cebolla roja. Mi esposa tomó un jugo de fruta que ella disfrutó. Personal amable y servicio rápido.

Mi pareja y yo no salimos a menudo, ya que tenemos un bebé precioso. ¡Un par de veces es raro! Esta noche estuvo muy ocupada, y honestamente nos dejó boquiabiertos Nadia. Por lo general, aprecia que el personal de servicio esté ocupado y las cosas tomen un poco de tiempo adicional. Hemos estado allí y sabemos que no es un trabajo fácil. Nadia era tan naturalmente encantador, educado y eficiente. Atendieron a toda su sección y estaba claro que se aseguraban de que todos estuvieran bien atendidos. Nadia tenía grandes recomendaciones y estábamos tan contentos con su increíble servicio durante todo nuestro tiempo allí, que queríamos comprarle un poco de tarta de queso (que dijo que era su favorito) para después de su turno. Hemos estado queriendo visitar aquí durante siglos, pero lamentablemente algunas cosas no en el menú de esta noche que no nos dijeron cuando nos sentamos! Absolutamente no recomiendo el bao bun de hongos a menos que esté contento con 3 pequeños trozos delgados de hongos picados en él. Mi compañero se equivocó de plato principal, pero rápidamente se dieron cuenta y se lo llevaron ellos mismos. ¿Las bebidas de jugo seguramente deben estar frías y no tibias? Nuestra camarera era muy agradable sin embargo y siguió registrando con nosotros. Probablemente no nos apresuraríamos a volver para ser honestos.

No somos clientes habituales aquí, pero después de hoy, nunca volveremos a visitar. Mi marido y yo pedimos la red y la mía llegó rápidamente. Había terminado mi curso cuando llegó la comida de mi marido, sin embargo, hacía frío como piedra. Muy rápido, mi marido le pidió a la camarera que se lo llevara y él se negó a pedir nada más. Obviamente, su comida había estado sentada en la cocina cuando debería habérsela dado. Para empeorar las cosas, visité los baños y me sorprendió el estado de los mismos. Los primeros 2 cubículos no tenían papel higiénico y cada cubículo que miré tenía pisos húmedos, papel higiénico en el piso y generalmente estaban sucios.

First time trying wagamamas. I did really enjoy my meal but still don’t get the huge hype- I’m more of a burger and fries girl. I had sirloin steak on yakisoba noodles which were yummy. The duck bao buns were phenomenal, would come back for them for sure! The bbq beef gyozas were disgusting just not my personal preference super weird tasting. Staff were all very nice and it was nice for a little change. Would need to be in the mood for it to return

Came here with my partner and baby couldn’t fault food or service. Everything quick and fresh made. Staff helpful was nice relaxing lunch

He estado aquí antes no mucho tiempo después de que abrió pero llevé a mi mujer, este fin de semana, ya que era su primera vez en WM's.

Visité el miércoles por la noche con mi familia y amigos para mi cumpleaños, el servicio era fantástico, rápido y con una sonrisa y la comida era deliciosa. Fue mi primera vez y nuestro camarero, (Declan) creo que era su nombre era muy servicial. Yo llevaba un badge y que deseaba un feliz cumpleaños, me dijo que tenía a mi familia y a mi nos reímos y nos hizo sentir valorado. También me di cuenta de que él era el mismo con otras mesas tomarse el tiempo para charlar y construir informe con los huéspedes. Pedimos postres y cuando Declan entregó a nosotros me informó que mi postre era en ellos como era mi cumpleaños! Yo estaba tan tocado y sin duda volveremos, el resto del personal parecía contento y alegre y recibimos muchas hellos/despedidas.

Visitamos el sábado por la noche a las 7 pm. Fue una noche bastante transitada sin embargo, el personal era muy atento y inmediatamente sentar justo al lado de la cocina. Excelente lugar si estás con los niños o simplemente un grande para los niños, no hay nada como observar cocinar una cena en frente de usted. El chef Garry de cabeza era un chico abierto de hablador que conversado con todos los clientes en las inmediaciones mientras sigue corriendo la cocina, la comida era volar increíble ver todos los chefs haciendo su cosa cerca y es una gran ventaja.

Yo siempre visitar este wagamamas sobre una base regular. La comida es fantástica y el personal es muy amable. Pasé un tiempo hablando con garry el chef jefe, que era muy servicial. Me encantaría volver si wagamamas; entre ellos lo volvería a hacer algunas lecciones para ir junto con su libro de recetas.

Fui con mi sobrino para el almuerzo. Ambos tuvimos la katsu curry de pollo que es absolutamente delicioso. Mi sobrino es extremadamente exigente en pollo o carne pero él me encantó. El personal es muy amable y el ambiente es muy relajado. Estoy con ganas de volver.

Fin ofrece una comida de calidad con fantástica elección. Una atmósfera acogedora y familiar se complementa con personal amable y servicial. Puede jugar con una variedad de platos inusuales y probar palillos o jugar a lo seguro con algo de comida familiar y una simple vieja Fork.

Fuimos al restaurante en un sábado ocupado. Nos dieron en la puerta por un hombre más amigable que nos enseñó a nuestros asientos. Cuando la camarera llegó a tomar nuestro pedido mi esposa explicó su inusual Citrus para alérgicos. Entonces ella llamó al director de hablar con mi esposa, y encontrar que era un poco corriente y significativo problema tenía uno de los chefs venir a nuestra mesa para discutir sus opciones. La comida y las bebidas llegó rápidamente y resultó muy sabroso y de la cantidad suficiente. Ambos tuvimos albóndigas de comenzar - el chef prepara una salsa cítricos rondan gratis para mi esposa. Ambos tuvimos curries para nuestro plato principal - arroz estaba incluido en el precio. Tuve kimchee como una parte con mi comida ya que me hacen que este plato parcialmente fermentado yo - ellos era excelente, coloridos con un chili Tang. Podemos recomendar sus jugos - delicioso y refrescante.

Primera vez en esta Wagamama y espero que no la última. El servicio era rápido y la comida era incluso sabroso.

Fuimos un martes por la noche y era tranquilo sin embargo, el servicio fue tristemente lento y nos sentamos con platos sucios hasta que finalmente nos fuimos a la recepción.

Cenamos aquí para el almuerzo con nuestro bebé. Me gustó que nos ofrecieron dos tipos elevados de sillas altas. No me gustan los bancos compartidos que tienen. Las mesas individuales sería mejor, especialmente por el precio que cobran. Cuándo cenar aquí más a menudo si no fuera por los bancos.

Great new pay app, no messing about, food is tasty fresh, spicy if you can handle the firecracker chicken, you'll perspire!! Didn't like the ribs, but that could be me, servers and chef always ready to help! EAT HERE!

The titles right. Food is good here at wagamama. The atmosphere is great and chopsticks are not that hard to use 🍱. Cod cubes are awesome and the size of portions were outstanding. Wait on me wagamama, I WILL be back!🍣🍤💋🌟

We have been to the one in the city centre loads of times, and trusted the brand. We were not disappointed, vibrant and energetic atmosphere, great service and the food is just what you would expect, honest and well executed. Great team work.

First visit to wagamana was very impressed.food was amazing service was great a special mention to joe explained the menu helped me make fab choices.Definatly will be back.

Yum yum food was fresh and served quickly, staff were all friendly and very efficient, the place had a great vibe. The White chocolate and ginger cheesecake is super yummy! Can't wait to go back and try some more of the fab food. gre

Been here twice in a fortnight, both times the food has been great with great service. We had rice balls and chicken as starters, and chicken donburi for mains, I can also recommend the chicken chilli noodle soup. We will keep going back as long as the service remains great and the food is always fresh

Love Wagamamas and now even better that there is one at the Fort. Have sat in and had a take away and the food is just as good either way!

It is always difficult to find the right mix of Japanese food and service outside of Japan. Wagamama at the Fort have achieved the near impossible for Scotland. Quality food as good as anything we tasted in Kobe. Although we only dropped in on the off chance it would be good "Joe " who looked after us was thoughtful, professional and very knowledgeable and I think he suits the Wagamama name very well, an enthusiastic server who got it just right for us.

Thought I would give it a try as my fave fast food. Decor is an improvement from city centre & silverburn. Service excellent as always at wagamamas, food not as great as the other locations, over done beef and really salty. Enjoyed and would visit again

As we walked through the door, my wife and I were treated to a warm and friendly welcome by General Manager, Jenny. Wagamama is a Japanese restaurant. It's large, and spacious with decent-sized tables. The menu is varied and covers the more popular dishes. We were offered as much help as we needed to select a dish - and when it came, it was just the way it looked in the menu picture... (and a special word for the Black Rice dessert... it was the perfect way to finish off a delightful meal. Thank you Jenny - and thanks to your excellent staff... Les & Buay

It was very nice food good serves but would especially recommend a member of staff joe and he was very helpful to me and my family it was very good and will call again !

First visit and it will not be the last, the food and service were excellent and the staff were very helpful and could not have been any more friendly. I would recommend this venue.

There was fast and friendly service here when I went and the waiter was very helpful as I'd never had anything Japanese so they walked me through it. The price is on the higher end on reasonable I'd say but it is good quality food so I can't complain.

I tried it on recommendation of my daughter and will not be returning. On arrival met by a pleasant staff member and shown to a table of our choice. The menu was varied and extensive so I plumped for a dish I have had in restaurants with a japanese chef, ( Ramen noodles with pork, chicken ,mussels and various vegetables. The broth was absolutely tasteless as was the other components of the dish I don't know where they source their mussels ( out of a jar by the look of it ) The were the size of a green pea and I was charged £10.95 for this? And was charged Nearly £4 for a glass of fruit juice?In conclusion My wife daughter seemed to enjoy their respective rice dishes so therefore I paid up and left disatisfied with what should have been a pleasant lunch.

The first time I went to Wagamamas I found little on the menu I liked. Persuaded back by my daughters I was surprised by the now extensive and tasty menu. Will be back.

Made my first ever visit today and it definitely won't be my last!

Being a coeliac and needing to eat gluten and wheat free I was wondering if I would find a sufficient selection. I shouldn't have worried!! The staff was great with their dietary advice and there was plenty I could choose from. Staff was attentive, friendly, fast and remembered who wanted the tuna steak rare, and who wanted their quinoa without the red peppers. The food was gorgeous, very tasty, nutritious and the portion was very generous as well. I had the black rice pudding with coconut cream as a desert which was just yummy. It was my first visit but it was certainly not my last. Already looking forward to my next delicious meal there. All in all a great experience.

Although the ingredients stated that my meal would be a taste sensation, I was inclined to disagree. It's not the first time I've visited a wagamama but unfortunately I think it'll be my last. The first time I thought the food was pretty bland and on my second visit I see nothing had changed. It seemed like although my mouth was on fire from whatever spice was added, I wasn't actually getting much of a flavour. Considering all my husband and I had was a couple of drinks, a main meal each and one side order, our bill was at £50!! It was extortionate. I've had nicer super noodles and didn't need to remortgage for the privilege.

Not too busy at the time we visited, but I am sure it will get full as it is a busy shopping centre. The menu is simple but varied and the portions we had were more than adequate. The soup came with a ladle which was funny but did seem to work. Staff were attentive but not in your face. You can see the kitchen in action and it was clean and tidy. Would recommend if you like Japanese style food.

Came here with friends for a catch up & dinner. Not disappointed. Lovely food and excellent service. I will definitely become a frequent visitor here with the girls.

Although we have visited Wagamama before, this was our first to Wagamama at Glasgow Fort and we were hugely impressed by our experience. We were warmly greeted as we entered and were seated at a table next to the huge curved counter of the kitchen area. At first we were a little apprehensive about being seated so close to the busy kitchen, but in the end it was probably the this experience that made our visit. We were given a very friendly welcome by one of the chefs, Garry, who then took the time to talk us through the menu, discussing our likes and dislikes and even allowing us to taste different sauces in order for us to make our selection. We felt this personal touch was great. Our order was taken by a lovely guy, Joe, who again was very friendly and helpful and who efficiently took our order. Part way through our meal Garry took the time to inquire if the meal was too our taste. The food was great, the staff were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The only issue is that I can see this having a negative effect on my bank balance as I can see us eating too often!

My wife and I visited on a weekday lunchtime shopping trip during the day. My wife visited recently and enjoyed her experience. This time she opted for the chilli beef ramen, I for the chicken yaki soba as it was my first visit for many years.

Visited Wagamama at the fort tonight with my husband and our 2 year old son. Service was great, staff all very friendly, food was amazing and the service and times from ordering our food to it being brought out was extremely quick and we were never made to wait when we wanted to order more drinks etc as they checked on us about 3 or 4 times. My son had plenty to choose from on the kids menu and they gave him easy chopsticks and all the usual paper crayons etc...very happy to entertain him and make sure he was also catered for! Will definitely be returning soon!

Popped in here today for a late lunch. Never been to a Wagamama before and was very impressed. Service and food really good. Will definitely return. Well done hope its like that for everyone really good experience .

Loving that there is a wagamama closer to me than the one in town. Managed to sample the food at the open day and have been back a few times since. I can't fault the food it never disappoints and my five year old son loves the kids meals. Will always be back! Good service and great food especially the ebi raisukaree!

I had never been to Wagamama before, I have been wanting to try it as I have heard from many people that it is fantastic. I managed to talk my partner into going in while at the fort shopping centre, and as I had a friend along with us, she wouldnt take no for an answer. We ended up having rather a lot of food, all very delicious. The three of us had very different things so we could try each others food, the free green tea is a great idea also. I could honestly say I could literally eat there every night, such good choice on the menu, and plenty to try each time. Cannot wait for my next visit, and my partner is a convert. He admitted to his meal being very delicious, and really enjoyed his desert. I wish I could remember the name of our server, he was lovely and good ad advising us of what to try.

Visited Wagamama at the Fort the other day for lunch. Food was excellent and the staff are very friendly and knowledgable, especially Joanne who served us on the day. Well worth a visit as the food is very tasty, if you like slightly hotter food, try the firecracker, it's very good. In fact I could go one right now.

Have been wanting to try Wagamama for a while, but wasnt really keen on the canteen look to it. However met a friend for lunch today at Wagamama at Glasgow Fort. Friendly server showed us to a table by the window - really uncomfortable seats, at 6ft2 i cant remember the last time my legs dangled when sitting eating!

Great food, price and service especially as the restaurant was not long open. Managed to get seated within 5 mins or so and served about 20 mins after placing order. Nice clean restaurant, great good and great prices

Loved the food, the service is outstanding, starting from the waiting staff to chefs whom you can watch cook. I have been there several times now and it's always a great experience.

Visited on a Friday night prior to going to the cinema. The restaurant was busy however we were seated straight away.

We visited for a quick bite after shopping. We were seated quickly and service was very effective. Unfortunately food was not up to a standard. Portions were generous, however contained mainly noodles. Ramen was completely tasteless and watered. In my teppanyaki I literally got 3 small pieces of chicken and 3 prawns. Will not be coming any soon.

Visited one Thursday night, having never been to Wagamama. Staff were happy to let us wait for a table on our own rather than at a bench, and kept us informed of how long we had to wait.

Always go here for a quick lunch or dinner. It's great food and reasonable prices! Fast service with a friendly smile. Great it's so close and in a shopping Park with plenty of parking space.

Visited here for a lunch with my husband, the food was OK not that memorable so that says it all really. What I had I could stir fry at home. I agree it is overpriced for what it is. Our waitress had a massive piece of snot hanging out of her nose which really put us off. Probably wouldn't rush back.

My husband loves wagamamas so when we seen one had opened at Fort we thought we would try it before visiting the cinema.

visited this restaurant with my daughter and grandson. Please was clean, spacious and very modern. Staff were very good, they got us a high chair immediately as well as crayons and paper for my grandson. Service was very quick and food served piping hot. No complaints.

Myself and my friend Claudia visited the Glasgow Fort restaurant last night and we have to say it was the best service we have ever received in a restaurant. Each person serving was smiling, cheery, friendly and went out of their way to make us completely welcome despite the restaurant being very busy. The waiter spent time giving us recommendations and advising us on both the drinks menu and food menu and continually checked we were happy with our choices. The food was delicious and the restaurant itself looks wonderful! Great atmosphere and we will 100% return. We are not ones for often leaving comments but the service was that good we felt we had to! :) thank you for a lovely evening

We popped in for lunch today and sat outside as we had the dog. After sitting for a while , we had to go in to get menus as no one came over. The service for us was very OTT and made it quite uncomfortable, but this could just be a personal preference. After we ordered, the food arrived quickly however it was bland and a bit tasteless. Having had pad thai in thai restaurants before , this was a great disappointment, tasted maily like a cheap stir fry made at home. My pad thai was missing peanuts, and despite being chicken and prawn, had very little chicken in it. My partners dish was unappealing too. When I complained to our waiter, he first denied that there should be peanuts, and then just stood nervously and shifted about uncomfortably and didnt do anything or offer any apology. We were eventually offered a replacement but by this point we just wanted to leave. Left feeling robbed of my money, as for what it was it was very overpriced. We won't be back and I wont be recommending it to anyone either.

Fab place! The Food is well 'explained' and super tasty! My Kids loved it and the staff are most attentive! Will be back soon!

My sister and I popped in for a quick lunch. We both enjoy Japanese food so headed in.

When I went the place had only been open a couple of weeks, but everyone seemed to know what they were doing and were very helpful and friendly. We spoke at length with the head chef who gave some tips on how to cook a perfect stir fry, and he was just very nice and chatty in general! The food was good, staff were good, cant find any fault.

Menu was great as always and staff here were friendly and engaged. The interior is spacious with a relaxed atmosphere. Parking into the Fort at weekends is a bit of a nightmare but that's not the fault of the restaurant. Would eat here again for an informal lunch or dinner.

Liked the open kitchen and general layout. Busy afternoon but service was quick and the quality and choice of food was excellent. Staff were chirpy and attentive.

1st time for me and the service from our waiter was first class...he talked us through all options...made really useful recommendations...food was lovely...style of the restaurant was great too...great addition to the dining options at the fort

I won't lie I am a Wagamama fan and I was very happy when the new one opened at the fort. Friendly welcoming staff and we were looked after by Gary who was very attentive and chatty to exactly the right levels. He made some good recommendations and checked in to make sure we enjoyed everything. Great service and the food was as good as usual. Definitely be a regular at the fort now

I love wagamama normally and have been a few times to the one in livingstone so was pleased to see one opening in the fort, however was disappointed in it I'm afraid. The service was really poor, we got shown to our seats and given menus straight away which was fine, but 20 minutes later no one had come for our order despite there being about 6 servicing staff hanging about chatting to each other, I had to get one of their attention and ask for our order to be taken, in the midst of our order being taken, one of the young make waiters started chatting to our waitress, which was just a bit rude, when we got our food it was ok, the yaki sobu however hadn't been made with udon noodles and on top of that it was really tasteless, the rest of the meal was fine but I am reluctant to go back to this one after that experience.

First of all while I remember many greatful thanks to the following staff.

Had my usual firecracker Chicken which was great. My wife had the same however the service in this wagamama was not as good as others. Might have been as its is still really new....we were left standing at the door for about 10 mins+. One guy came up and handed us menus, said he would be back in a min but never returned. Another guy who had been chatting to customers for about 10 mins finally saw us and the people who were backing up behind us. He came over and got us a table quickly...we never saw the first guy again. Will we go back...yes as I would not let this put you off.

This is our second visit to Wagamama Glasgow Fort, the first visit the service let them down. It took almost 20 for one of our main courses but one of the chef's Garry noticed and resolved the issue very quickly. This visit we took our son and once again the kitchen staff were amazing they chatted to my son and made it a great experience for our son! The food is fantastic all they need to do is get the waiting staff up to the same standard as the kitchen staff!

So this recently opened Wagamama's is fantastic. From staff positive interaction with customer regrading the menu(there were many customer who had never been before) to the lovely setting this is a fantastic example of fast food at a shopping centre done right.

8 days after opening we finally experienced our local Japanese fusion - Luv'in the new layout of part traditional bench and breakfast style tables with open plan cooking area - after being welcomed and shown to table, we enjoyed complimentary Green Tea while taken our time to browse the scrumptious menu - we enjoyed the Ebi Katsu followed by Coconut Seafood Broth and Grilled Tuna finishing off the Ginger Cheesecake (next time i'll go for the 3 cake dessert) the freshly squeezed Blueberry Spice Juice is very refreshing and healthy - do not worry if this is your first Japanese dish as staff are happy to assist, explain the menu and suggest a dish. Wagamama has full disabled access including braille menu, induction loops and magnifying sheets not forgetting free WiFi to post foodie selfie.
