Michal was an attentive and friendly server who made sure my friend and I had an enjoyable meal. Would definitely come again! Thank you Michal :)

We tried this restaurant this time because it looked good but what we tried very normal mediocre there are more and better options in Camden to eat better

Horrible! They brought the adult food first and my son waited 20 minutes. This is not normal. The food was terrible. The ice cream took a long time too. And the staff is not very friendly... It's not possible to heat at all. It's very cold. Coming to the establishment and sitting in jackets is also so-so.

Ordered a vegan tofu dish on delivery and received some kind of meat instead. NEVER AGAIN will I order from here. The food has gone straight in the bin.

Teriyaki Soba Steak now costs a whopping £20. This was the dish which was approx £12/13 not long ago. I don’t have a clue how they can justify £20 for a mains. The service is usually slow these days. I have been going to this store for approx 10-12 years but the menu keeps on getting costlier and the food is different almost every time we go. The food is great but expensive. Starter/Mains/Dessert/Drink can now set you back approx £45 pp. That’s a lot!!

If you like Far Eastern cuisine, I recommend it. The restaurant wasn't busy so we didn't wait long for our order. The food was delicious. The place is not bad. It was quiet because it was the beginning of the week. We ate our meal comfortably. We would also like to thank Adam, the waiter at our table. He was interested in us and came from time to time and asked if we needed anything.

Expensive nowadays for the sides but good for a young child

Update: a couple hours later I got very sick- all the food erupted from my body. I was sick for 2 days, a nightmare. I have a gluten allergy (celiac) and there is a separate menu for gf and the manager took my order and the food took longer to come out, which is fine for me. I’m glad they are careful and following allergen protocols. My husband enjoyed his teriyaki soba. It’s good amount of food for the price. It’s not tasting like when he lived in Japan, but that’s to be expected. I didn’t want a rice dish since I eat rice at home, so I chose one of the noodle dishes on the gf menu- shrimp and chicken pad Thai. It was good. We liked the hot green tea. The restaurant is very loud. The bathrooms could be cleaner.

Had a lovely meal at Wagamama’s Camden yesterday, made all the more lovely by our wonderful server Seefat! She made us feel so welcome and her smile was infectious! Will definitely be back again. Thank you again Seefat and the rest of the Wagamama’s Camden team.

Visited at 3:15pm on a rainy Sunday. Very spacious and plenty of seats. I sat myself as could see the staff were busy, they spotted me and promptly came over to take my order. Food came out quickly and was tasty, really like the texture of the new vegan chicken. I do think the portions have gotten smaller 😅 V handy to pay via QR code. Loos were clean.

Really like this Wagas as it usually isn’t too busy and doesnt have to que, even on a Friday/saturday. The service is also really good, staff are really attentive. Ria in particular was so lovely!

Had an amazing waitress named mayah she was amazing and food was banging

Food was great, most of the staff were fab, but selina with the braids serving us was utterly useless. Anytime she came to our table she was completely mute and would just stare at us blinking in silence.... At first we thought she was new or whatever. But she was having conversations and banter with every table other than ours? Very weird. Also, she told us the kitchen was closing as it closed..... Just such a lack of attention and very poor service from her. Would've preferred to be served by any other staff tbh!

I’m usually a fan of Wagamama, but my last visit was pretty disappointing. The customer service really let it down. Our server seemed really avoidant and on edge when dealing with my partner and me. She barely spoke to us and was so stiff that it made the whole experience awkward. We even tried to be extra friendly, thinking she might be new or nervous, but what really threw us off was how different she was with other tables. She was super chatty and accommodating with them, so it felt like we were being treated differently for some reason. To top it off, she forgot to mention that the kitchen closes at 9:30pm and only told us at 9:29pm, which made it feel like a rush to add anything else to our order. We love Wagamama for the good atmosphere as much as the food, but this experience just didn’t feel great. Hopefully, it was just an off day, but I’d love to see a bit more consistency in how customers are treated.

I’ve been to wagamama a few times and this was the worst experience I’ve had. We ordered two ramen and a yakisoba noodles. The ramen was absolutely tasteless, with watered down broth and overcooked noodles. The chili ramen was even worse. The yakisoba with chicken - not good either, with dry and tasteless chicken and noodles. I am really disappointed with the quality.

The person that served me was not the person that was supposed to be my server (name written on my place mat). I hope the tip I left went to the person that actually took care of me. Also, since we have to pay using a QR code, maybe include a way to order ourselves as well. But, no hot sake and they used spaghetti in the “ramen”. As a regular ramen eater, I was so disappointed. Ramen noodles taste completely different to angel hair pasta, not sure how it was an acceptable replacement. While it was ok, I won’t return for ramen.

Correct food if you want to sit and escape the hustle and bustle of candem market. Especially in December a day of rain and wind. Varied dishes. We ordered a ramen that was okay, it wasn't the best ramen of my life either. Some gyozas, pay attention to whether they are steamed or fried, and some noodles. The quantities of the main dishes.

It was nice and clean, the service was decent, the bao buns we had were amazing, the ramen was pretty good, it wasnt "slurp the rest of the broth" good but the noodles etc were good! The gyozas were pretty flavourless, but the cherry blossom lemonade was great! The noodles were big portions in my opinion so wasnt too bad for the price.

Great food. Great location, a 4* only because we struggled to pay the bill on our phone, and the staff kept saying it was easy and weren't helpful until they realised it was their error and not ours.

However, my recent visit highlighted several areas for improvement that detracted from the overall dining experience. The service at this Wagamama was notably lacking. Despite the restaurant's reputation for efficient and friendly service, our experience was quite the opposite. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and our orders were taken with noticeable delays. When the green tea arrived, it was served in a strangely dirty cup, which was off-putting and raised concerns about cleanliness standards. The interior of the restaurant was very hot, making it uncomfortable to enjoy our meal. Given the high foot traffic in Camden, it’s understandable that the restaurant gets busy, but proper ventilation or air conditioning would greatly improve the dining experience, especially on warmer days. Additionally, the bench seating was not comfortable, contributing to the overall sense of discomfort during our visit. Despite these issues, the food quality was consistent with what you would expect from Wagamama. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, from ramen and donburi to teppanyaki and katsu curry. Each dish is prepared with fresh ingredients and presented beautifully. The Chicken Katsu Curry, a staple at Wagamama, was flavorful and satisfying. The vegetarian options, such as the Yasai Yaki Soba, were also well-received for their taste and portion size. Wagamama was founded in 1992 in London and has since become a global brand known for its minimalist decor and emphasis on communal dining. The Camden location reflects the brand’s philosophy but unfortunately falls short in terms of service and comfort. In conclusion, while Wagamama in Camden maintains the chain's standard for good food, the poor service, uncomfortable seating, and lack of proper ventilation significantly impacted our visit. Improvements in these areas would greatly enhance the overall dining experience.

Gary is the absolute sweetest, pro active, and on top of it manager for any place we’ve visited in London including all the fine dining restaurants we’ve been too. We adore him and I hope he has a wonderful life genuinely

We were a party of two and ordered two mains and one starter. First, they brought us one main dish. Five minutes later, we had to remind them about the second main and the starter. They then brought out the starter, and finally, after another 10 minutes, we received the second main dish. Despite the friendly staff, the service was poor. The team needs training on proper serving etiquette: the starter should be served first, followed by both mains together, not 10 minutes apart. Additionally, I found it unprofessional that they wrote the order number on our table, where we needed to place our plates. For the prices they charge, they should offer a more creative and refined dining experience. We won’t be returning.

I’ve been to many Wagamama but this was my first time in the Camden branch. I was very pleased. My Yaki Udon was fab and the portion was big (as you can tell from the photo). The food took a tiny bit longer to be served but it was fairly busy so no problem there. I would also like to thank Louis our waiter who took great care of us. He made sure we had everything we need and when I asked for his suggestion on the appetisers he was more than happy to help me choose. Great job Louis and thank you!

Burnt, missing items from delivery and one piece of butternut squash in a new vegetarian dish in a curry so hot that it would strip paint of the wall. Plainly a dreadful incompetent chef who doesn’t taste his food and plainly doesn’t care about his job. Pity, they used to be good but I’d steer well clear if you want to eat safely and get what you paid for!

Place with interesting design. The service was fast and very friendly. Buns so tasty! Lemonade really great. Vegatsu didn’t look good and it was just tasteless… I see no point to serve green tea when you can’t separate leaves. After few minutes the tea was so strong that I couldn’t drink it any more.

This place is a letdown, me and my friend decided to come here since we love wagamamas and first of all, the waiters seemed very moody and didn’t feel like they really cared about their job. Moving onto the food, we had our food before drinks and waited another 10 mins before we actually got our drinks, it doesn’t take that long to make them!! Before ordering, my friend specified that she has a nut and dairy allergy, and our server seemed very annoyed, but it’s obviously not her fault she has an allergy!! My friend ordered the teriyaki soba noodles and duck gyozas, and i ordered the katsu curry with chicken gyozas, our mains came, and my gyozas came, and then my friends gyozas took an extra 40 minutes to come!!! I think this is disgraceful as we already ate our mains before the gyozas and we’re already full by then so they wasted their time and money from the ingredients to make them. Also the food was quite salty too! Overall I think this is disappointing from someone who loves wagamamas. Never coming back

First time going to this wagamama when we first went in we was seated straight away and served quickly but when it came to paying the server didn't return with our change we was going to leave a tip anyway.

got the tofu hot pot as takeaway -two tteokbokki and a less than half full bowl. no butternut squash at all. not sure how that's a main meal. had to go somewhere else and get more food; I'm diabetic & there weren't enough carbs in the meal to even count as a snack. especially annoying because I normally quite like wagamamas. don't get takeaway from the camden branch I guess

We popped in here while shopping around Camden. We wanted to see what this popular chain was all about. Our 3 teens really loved the food! The adults too. We tried all sorts of things on the menu and were please with all. They even had green drinks! Service was friendly too. Definitely check it out for a casual bite.

Really poor service - seated out of the way and forgotten about by the servers. Ten minutes to come and take an order when I was on my own. One of my items did not turn up and so i asked for this to be taken off the bill which it was but at that point the server became totally disengaged, brought the bill, took payment without a gratuity and walked off.

I happened to enter this restaurant Wagamama in Camden Town and enjoyed every bite I had I really wanted to enjoy some drinks but was not in a mood but Adam was a great host who made my day with his politeness and service , I recommend my friends and family to visit this place specially to be served by Adam thanks bro

Walked in to place a take away order. Sat around like an absolute idiot only to be handed lukewarm food because they didn’t bother to hand it to me until I asked when it was going to be ready. I hadn’t moved. I brought this to the manager’s attention and he shrugged his shoulders saying “oh, sorry, I didn’t know you were there”.

It was lovely just incredibly expensive for the size of the portions

Was served in combination by Becky, Jaz, and Fernanda. All were VERY accommodating, kind, and welcoming. The service was quick, and the food was delicious! Great recommendations on what to order from the staff, and they were correct on each item. Also, loved the mocktail options, specifically the no-jito. Will definitely be coming back!

Always great food. Service rather slow on this occasion and the waitress was unfriendly, however that's not usually the case.

They treated us terribly, the rude waiter came to the table and didn't even look at our faces. Talking to us with contempt and indifference, so much so that we got up from the table and left the place. At least I will never return to that location again.

Worst experience at Wagamama anywhere. Messed up our order, then added the mess up to the bill and when asked to correct, did not on the 1st occasion. Had to then fill out a refund form. Worst part, is when we were complaining about the service the server / manager accused of us of shouting. Will never go there again. Food was good, but my Firecracker chicken did not have much sauce. Overall, Bad experience with both the service and food.

I was there last night but it was very busy and I was feeling unwell with a headache so we decided to leave without ordering. However, I left my phone on the table and the staff saw it and kept it safe until I returned to collect it. Thank you so much. Great and friendly service. If you want beef in your dish, do not order the beef brisket ramen (no.30). The broth was tasty, however there was a mountain of noodles in it, and only A TEASPOON’s worth of beef. Sad, unfair. Opt for the noodles with steak, that was a real visible piece of meat.

It was a rainy day after a tiresome interview. So I walked in here and I was craving something less curry-ish but more flavoursome dishes. I was analysing the menu for a good 3-5 minutes deciding what to eat. Hence it was a rainy and a bit chilly weather I went for the vegetable gyoza ramen with udon noodles. Cooked with perfection honestly. (+) points - Very hearty, packed with flavours, a bit less spicy I had to use the chilli oil from the table to pack up a punch of spiciness. I think ramen is best eaten for lunch or dinner. For £13.90 it’s worth the price and portion quantity. (-) points - Took me forever to finish my food, make sure you take some time to eat here because ramen comes in a huge bowl. And there’s no halal options (since I know about Wagamamas in the past they had halal meat options but this particular branch doesn’t have any halal options)

We were not more than 20 customers at the venue with 3 waiters on the floor, easy job, but they were super slow, the kitchen wasn't a problem as there were many ready dishes on the top of the counter

Rudest service from very confrontational member of staff, only way I can identify is possibly Portuguese accent, young woman with short brown hair wearing deep pink lipstick. I was taken aback and never experienced such horrible service, my friend at the table had mentioned she was making rude gestures behind us, this all sparked when we showed a code to use upon paying out bill. I wouldn't return and I frequently go to Wagamamas elsewhere with no issues.

Food was overpriced and just bland. The staff was even worse than the food, rolling their eyes at me when I complaint about the food. Waited almost an hour for my food for it to be cold and then changed it to be still cold. Not okay

There is not proper or not air conditioning in the restaurant it was boiling inside. My kids were sweating badly. It is probably not just this branch but the food was terrible. If you really like Japanese food I would say don’t try Wagamama the rice and noodles were awful, tonkatsu chicken tasteless, and let know talk about the gyozas very disappointment.

Staff member cameron was very welcoming and friendly, food arrived quickly. Manager on the shift was also very friendly. Me and my friends enjoyed eating at camden town wagamamas this evening.

Very good food at the Camden branch of Wagamama. I had the vegetable gyoza and then vegatsu which I hadn't tried before. Both excellent. My partner had Korean beef bao buns and yaki Udon. We visited at 10pm and got a table without any problem. Other places in the area were closing so it was lucky. The music was a little bit too loud inside which was annoying as we wanted to chat over dinner.
