Wagamama in Glasgow City

Ordered 3 entrees & 1 main to share here. Ordered glasses of water, only 1 arrived. No side plates for sharing, was told I didn’t ask for the plates. Not sure how I was meant to eat what I ordered. Food was not very hot & quite disappointing. I have eaten in Wagamama mainly times before but not this one

Big thanks to the manageress of this restaurant who took time to respond to a complaint I made following a first visit, apologising by way of phone call and offering to make good the situation. The fact complaints are taken seriously and issues resolved is comforting and demonstrates a dedication toward customer satisfaction. Looking forward to returning.

For midweek this place was really busy, that speaks volumes about the place.The new menu has an array of choice....Food was amazing, plenty on the plate, very tasty. Staff were fantastic, couldn't do enough for you. Defiantly a return in the very near future...Highly recommend....

Had the beef with ramen which was decent but not overly flavorful. Paired with some sake. Menu had a large selection of ramen and curry dishes.

Our first time at Wagamama’s and I absolutely loved the food, super yummy and the girl who served my boyfriend and I was very nice. Only slight negative is he got his food about 5 minutes before I did

I was ordering off the vegan menu which has loads of options! Great to see! Chose the vegatsu, which was delicious, large portions and presented lovely, however sauce last time I had it was more flavourful. You sit on large benches along with other customers which I love as you get the full restaurant atmosphere even when solo! Definitely try the power green juice if you visit, it is so yummy and healthy too. Reasonable price £10.95 for my main meal, then add on drinks. Service was good, very friendly however slow, granted, they were busy, 6pm on a Saturday night.

Got seated very quickly as we had booked a table staff very friendly place was clean. I had a fruit during very refreshing and Lamb ramen noodles cooked perfectly lamb very tasty my wife had the salmon 7 of us all enjoyed our meals food arrived quickly and staff were very attentive would highly recommend.

Quite possibly one of the best Wagamama branches I've ever been too. Service, food and drinks were top notch. Brilliant!!!!

Visited here at the weekend, just two of us. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. We had the Katsu Curry (always a favourite) and a few starters including the duck gyoza and the bang bang cauliflower. It was all good - my only complaint is that there were a few very large cauliflower florets which hadn’t been cooked through. That’s all!

El atendimiento en sala fue genial. Nos pedimos unas gyozas de entrante y un ramen shirodashi y otro chilli, espectaculares los dos. Volvería por supuesto!

We stopped off for lunch on our way back from argyle and bute and as always friendly fast service and plenty of choice for us vegans.

Wagamama è un posto che colpisce senza dubbio per design e arredamento ma ha da rivedere tantissimo sul cibo! Abbastanza altini i costi se si serve del cibo scadente, freddo, riscaldato, stracotto o addirittura croccante perché cotto in precedenza e ricotto facendo arrivare un piatto di gyoza come fossero dei tortellini in busta da gettare in acqua bollente per cuocersi! Sarà stata una serata storta, ma anche la seppiolina era gommosa, impossibile da mangiare e non elenco il resto per non dilungarmi...non male il dolce anche se ovviamente non artigianale! Mi spiace, spero di trovare un livello più alto in futuro

Been here for dinner and I had a really nice pad thai with chicken and prawns and, as suggested by the waiter, coconut ice-cream. Everything was good and tasty and service was excellent!

Wagamama? A weird name for a restaurant and i usually stay away from chain restaurants however i got dragged in there by some local friends.

I had the Wagamama Ramen - it was so tasty and filling. Has all sorts of meats, mussels and prawns in it and you get to pick if you want spicy broth etc. Service was good too and quick.

This is all you would expect from a Wagamama's restaurant. Practical seating, friendly staff, speedy service and good food. I am a fan of Wagamama's restaurants and this branch didn't disappoint.

Staff were nice and food was received quick. The ramen soup was a bit too greasy on my own bowl however overall was great tasting.

Just the place to go when you want a quick lunch in the centre of Glasgow. Chicken ramen is an ideal winter warmer. Chicken, noodles, broth. What more do you need. Great service. Nice venue.

Visited for lunch. Food was lovely. Drinks are a bit pricey though, almost £3 a glass. We were not given our change after paying. Cheeky. Will return at some point.

The service was great and our meal tasty. The portions are rather small for the prices, but this is a sandard for a chain restaurant. Overall we enjoyed our dinner and tried some new flavours :)

Wagamama is good for that quick bite and busy atmosphere. Service was prompt as was the food. Always a reliable eat, just not as exciting as trying an unknown independent that sometimes unveils an absolute jewel, but quality here always good.

Mi esposa y yo intentábamos reducirlo en enero y realmente no habíamos pensado que podríamos almorzar aquí. Nos encantó descubrir que el ramen de pollo era relativamente bajo en calorías y realmente delicioso. Fue un cambio muy agradable del curry Katsu habitual!

We popped in while using up Christmas vouchers. Lots new on the menu and even better loads of new stuff for vegetarian me. We had the steamed buns light fluffy and sticky. The aubergine and mushroom was was lovely veggie with mayonnaise and vegan without. I next had the Kare Buroso fab tasty curry broth with a great mix of veg and noodles. Hubby had the duck ramen and we both had a beer. Great big place which got busy at lunchtime and service was spot on. Forgot how much I liked this place and will be back.

Glasgow ha praticamente solo ristoranti italiani..e noi all estero li evitiano proprio. Provando un po per caso questo psto siamo rimasti decisamente soddisfatti. Noodles con pollo per la bambina, pat thai e ramen per noi. Tutto ottimo. Gentilissimi ed oragnizzati con fogli e colori per i bimbi. Prezzi per noi non troppo alti.

Family in Glasgow for daughter’s 40th birthday. 8 year old granddaughter wanted to go to Wagamamas, so that’s where we went. Good choice. As there was 7 of us we had a short wait for a table, but well worth the wait. We had a cross selection from across the menu, including vegetarian, ramen , katsu etc. As usual with Wagamama everything arrives in dribs and drabs but that was ok. The food was all delicious and reasonably priced for what you got. Only downside was that the server forgot to order a pudding, but that was sorted out. Great lunch.

Visited Wagamamas in town with a friend for lunch, to catch up. My friend ordered chicken teriyaki, whilst I ordered the chicken katsu curry. We both really enjoyed our meals; Wagamamas never fails to disappoint us! The only thing which Wagamamas could improve on is giving people their order at the same time, as it can be slightly awkward when one person has already received their order, whilst everyone else is waiting on their food. Other than that, though, the food in Wagamamas is decently priced for what you get, and the food is lovely! Would definitely recommend Wagamamas to friends and family!

Treated by my daughter in Wagamama...lovely! Great, efficient staff. Highly recommend We are both vegan and had good choices from menu.

Arrived without a booking but Wed night in November wasn't too busy. As you probably know all the tables are shared so you sit at a huge long table with benches. Good extensive menu and staff happy to explain whats what! We enjoyed our meal and a glass of wine/beer. Always a favourite eating place.

A friend and I went in for a bite eat recently. After a while my friend started to feel really unwell (totally unrelated to the food) and we needed to head home quickly. The staff were so helpful and kind. They ordered us a taxi and walked us out making sure we got in ok. Really great service. Wish I knew the names of the two staff that helped us, thank you so much! Food was delish too! We had veggie gyoza,miso soup,bang bang cauliflower,wok fried greens and sticky rice. Fav was wok fried greens. Smoky and garlicky and delicious.

Pleased to find Wagamama open later than most other places on a Sunday. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was delicious - something for everyone.Also good drinks, especially the G&T;.

We don't have a Wagamama where I live so always try to go to one when away on business. Food good as always and service also very friendly. Only slight negative, as a solo traveller I was given a seat at a table facing the wall so I found this a bit disappointing, Yes, I travel on my own but I don't really want to look at a wall when I am eating.

We’ve obviously been here before, but this time we were a couple and no family entourage ( but I wish it was so ). The wait staff - to a member - are never surly. They stand off for the appropriate time ( we realise the covers are profit ) and they deliver fresh, hot, tasty food. So , thanks to chef(s) and everyone for a memorable experience.

I visited Wagamama on Friday 5th for lunch with my friend who is blind. We often meet for lunch and chose Wagamama because we hadn’t been for a while and we both really enjoy the food. The food as usual was excellent; a delicious, delicately flavoured Raisukaree curry. However my real reason for writing this is because one of the staff,Silas, noticed my friend’s white stick and asked if she wanted the menu in Braille. That simple action completely transformed our lunch experience; for me because I did not have to read out every item on the menu and for my friend because she could take her time in deciding what to have. This is the first time she has ever been offered a Braille menu in any restaurant in Glasgow. I have asked in many but the response is always “sorry we don’t have that” so thank you Silas and well done Wagamama! We’ll be back!

Wasn't specifically looking for this type of food while in Glasgow but ended up there with friends. Very good menu options with a vegetarian/vegan menu offered. The ramen was very flavorful and had a good ratio of the different aspects of the dish. I would return.

Went here for a late lunch with my brother during a visit to my home town for the football. Service was quick, accurate and discrete. Staff were attentive and polite, food was fresh, light authentic and tasty.

Food took a long time to arrive and coming at mixed times meant there was a big enough gap for some of the party to have finished when others just received their food.

We live in Spain and got caught out trying to find somewhere to heat at 10pm. thinking it would be the same in the city here.

There were stil many options to choose from... they got good staff and a clean environment. The meal was worth every penny!

Llamado a última hora de la tarde cuando muchos otros restaurantes ya habían cerrado. Buena comida servida rápidamente. Camarera encantadora que estaba feliz y sonriente, incluso a las 10 pm. Ella incluso nos trajo un pastel de cortesía diciendo que tenían que tirar las sobras al final de la noche, ¡un pensamiento amable!

I use wagamama a lot. They are always good. The staff of the glasgow centre branch was very polite. Al of them worked spirited and their english (a lot of them from Poland)was good. It is always worth a visit.

Always a good option when you need to eat in a hurry. Food is good quality and served quickly. Like the fact that they have veg/vegan menus.

Fue una visita agradable a un viejo favorito. Uno nunca está decepcionado con el servicio o la calidad de la comida. Mi única queja es que las comidas a menudo vienen en diferentes ocasiones. Normalmente me apetece comer con mi compañero de comedor. Entiendo la frescura y ocurre cuando lista y es un problema mundial muy pequeños 1.

Service always excellent and efficient, plenty of seating and great for families too. We had chilli squid and duck gyoza, both fresh and piping hot and our ramen was tasty and excellent.

Era un sábado por la tarde y la mayoría de ocupados restaurantes eran completamente llena, así que esto nos dio una excusa para probar algo nuevo. Estuvimos encantados de Wagamama parecía casi completamente vacío y nos ofrecieron un asiento inmediatamente. El estilo banco en sí de estar no era de mi agrado personalmente y no me pareció muy cómodo, sin embargo el restaurante era cálido, bien decoradas y cómodas durante toda nuestra visita. Yo opté por el pollo Katsu curry y mi pareja donburi de pollo teriyaki. El servicio era genial, muy rápido y la comida llegó rápidamente. Muy grandes, abundantes porciones (que no pude terminar! ) por un precio sorprendentemente bajo, lo que fue fantástico. Hemos decidido que nos gustaría volver y probar de nuevo en el futuro para experimentar con diferentes platos.

En mi opinión, la mayoría de los restaurantes wagamama ofrecen un medio comida a buen precio, y el capítulo de glasgow no fue una excepción.

Sono arrivata a Glasgow per un tour ed avevo una serata libera, dopo aver girato per il centro con locali etnici di ogni tipo mi sono accorta che in questo locale servivano un ramen dall'aspetto fantastico: ho scelto di cenare qui e non me ne sono pentita!

This was my first visit, & I wasn't disappointed. The staff were very attentive, the atmosphere was relaxed & I loved the look of the place. My food arrived reasonably quick & it was delicious. I will definitely be back.

Αν και η μέρα που πήγαμε ήταν μια δύσκολη μέρα αφού η Γλασκώβη ήταν γεμάτη κόσμο και ασφαλώς τα Bar και τα εστιατόρια (το pride της Γλασκώβης), εξυπηρετηθήκαμε άμεσα μπορώ να πω και τα πιάτα που πήραμε πολύ νόστιμα και σχετικά οικονομικά.

A los niños les encanta así mi vamos cada vez. Tengo alergias inusual que hacen que comer aquí un reto, pero el personal hizo todo lo posible para encontrar algo adecuado para mí y para asegurar que no haya contaminación cruzada. He cumplía 3 la comida, ya que dan tan poco elección, pero luego, no soy su cliente habitual y el resto de mi familia como el menú.

Very nice busy restaurant in the city centre. Enjoyed the sumptuous food. The service was excellent. Would love to go again. They have come out with a new menu which is great as they have still retained their bestsellers.

Been here a few times and can't see past the chicken firecracker. But it is not for the faint hearted! Hot hot! Everything made to order in an open kitchen, excellent Asahi beer, good wine choice. What's not to like?

Had the chicken chili ramen. Very spicy, very fresh, very tasty. Waiter was friendly and approachable. Over all, a great time.

Came in two night in a row. Seated immediately as I entered, an floor slaff are constantly pacing the floors to check on each customer. On a seperate note the food was spot on both times. Great stuff.

It’s obviously popular and busy when we visited. We had the Chicken Katsu Curry and Chicken Raman. Plentiful and full of flavour. My only criticism was the panko on the chicken, a bit too dark and maybe a little over cooked ?

Wagamama was the perfect place to dine to finally get away from all of the pub food we had been eating. My daughter and I both had the Chicken Ramen. Of course it was a HUGE bowl of steaming hot goodness and an oh so welcomed change. The place had a great vibe, awesome music folks of all walks of life dine there!

I haven't managed to visit the restaurant yet but when I'm not bothered about going out I get on line and have the Katsu curry, it comes very well presented and is always very nice.

Dont usually bother with reviews but just to say how very welcome we felt , so thanks for a lovely lunch today, I took with me my girlfriend and she was really happy to have spicy vegan ramen. Be prepared cause portions are big ! Our server Aga recomended us also a mushrooms buns! cracking food, will definitely be back!

I love visiting Wagamamas and this visit was no exception! Had the new Vegan Katsu and it was delicious - definitely be having it again. The service was amazing - our server Dovilė was super helpful and lovely. We will definitely be back.

Loud music and community tables is the ambiance here. But staff was very responsive. When I asked to be moved to a table where the loudspeakers were not blasting at us, he immediately do so and even offered to turn down the volume. A mostly young crowd here.

The Best part of the food experience are Two Great ladies whom are Marta And AGA . their personalities will BOWL you over . GREAT FOOD GREAT FRIENDS. I feel very special each time I dine here.

It was our first time to eat in Wagamama and we really enjoyed it. We both like Asian food and we were impressed by this. Very friendly and helpful staff and nice surroundings. If you fancy something a little different give it a try.

Good, quick service and great food like any other Wagamama's. Easy central location near main streets and shops in Glasgow.

Milda was looking after us and she was wonderful, always giving us full information about the menu and recommending us very nice food. All what we ordered was great. We followed Milda’s advice on the dessert and we got the coconut ice cream, or was lovely and just as she described it.

My wife and I visited the restaurant for food whilst in Glasgow. Excellent food in lovely surroundings with good selection of food on menu. Quality excellent with very prompt service. Worth a visit.

Wagamama delivers in spades and this place is no different. Excellent service, fresh tasty food and very helpful staff. In and out within an hour. Good fun - decent value!

A separate vegan section on the menu makes choosing easier. Very busy and bustling at lunchtime but service was quick and efficient. The food was tasty and filling.

Came here for a date, it was quiet mid week and horrible weather. The food was a standard wagagamamas ramen - happy days! The staff were a bit slow but friendly overall. Will be back when my noodle cravings kick in!

Frequently eat in Wagamamas and the food is always delicious. The chicken or vegetarian Katsu curries are definitely my favourite dishes...but I can’t go without getting a portion of the chilli squid which is delicious! Good, consistent food. A little over priced but definitely a safe bet if you’re looking for somewhere with yummy Asian food.

I love wagamama food especially ramen . Always fresh and full of flavours , perfect alternative for healthier lifestyle . Team helpful and very knowledgeable , this time my main server was Pawel ( hope correct spelling ) I really enjoy his company and big passionate to his work . when we entered a smiley guy asked us immediately if we wanted the vegetarian/vegan menu! This same guy was super gentle and kind to help us to choose some dishes for my husband that has a serious garlic intolerance. The food was simply amazing. I super recommend this restaurant , their food and their service.

Always the restaurant of choice before the cinema. Quick, delicious, great service. The time we go varies all the time and so does the busyness. Sometimes it's packed as it's very popular, however this does not usually hinder the speed and quality at which your food arrives. Always a firm favourite. Absolutely the best dish is the salt and chilli squid. Wish it was a main also.

We wanted a table for 10 on valentines night at very short notice. Phoned lots of restaurants to no avail. At 5.30pm phoned Wagamama who said yes, we’ll set the table up for you now and be ready for 6.30pm.

I don't like this kind of food but was pleasantly surprised by my choice of dishes. Good size portions.Friendly and attentive staff.Seating was not very comfortable.Some tables to close to each other. Nice decor. Will be back.

I'm not mad about Asian food but Wagamama's is a good place to try it.
