Wagamama in Ashford

Very busy and a bit loud, but if course you're in a shopping centre. The food was good for being a chain, and came quickly. The staff who seated us were lovely, especially to our young son.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value.

Great place for shopping with fantastic discounts on top brands! The open-air layout is lovely, and there’s a good mix of shops and food options.

Gorgeous fresh food, I had the Katsu chicken salad, staff were so lovely, it's just very noisy for me.

Bland food. Don’t care about people coming back. Eaten in many Wagamama’s and this was the must tasteless experience.

Tasty food, forgot my green tea but soon put right. Nice for a quick meal out. Couple of items we wanted were unavailable. The crispy vegetarian firecracker chicken was a new favourite!

The same problem with all wagamama food, they use soya sauce which has alcohol in it, also use it on tables and they don't have any alternatives to it, the choice of having it without soya sauce makes the food tasteless. I think it's inconsiderate from a chain that claims a high standard of customer service. The place is mostly busy and you usually have to wait a while to be seated and to have your food.

What a great atmosphere. Our server was Gio - amazingly polite and knowledgeable. Today’s experience was one I won’t forget. The team and the servers were also very friendly and helpful

Super busy restaurant, good food and nice staff. I tried the Chicken Katsu Curry, it was nice, big portions too! The cherry blossom lemonade pretty is sweet but tasty.

We came to the designer outlet restaurant and were shown quickly to a table. Very good decor, excellent cleanliness throughout and courteous staff. We tried a fish curry with a red curry and lime base. The flavour was excellent and came with nice veggies. However the fish fillet portion was so small, it was surprising it could be considered a mains meal portion (the size of the fish not the overall dish). Not good considering the dish costs £18. The fire cracker chicken starter I recommend which was flavoursome.

incredible service by the manager Sammy who showed us to the table, I explained I had come to treat my daughters after a glowing school report - she spoke to my daughters and said how good that was - then just before our food arrived she came out with special Wagamamas aprons and gave them to the girls for their hard work and good behaviour. The service given by our waiter (Mario I believe his name was) was also outstanding with nothing to much trouble. Food came hot and very tasty Family friendly places are hard to come across and will definitely come again. Also the kids menu is good value for money two courses and a drink for less that £8

Whenever in Ashford the Wagamama is always a great spot for food especially when the weather is beautiful. Such a chilled environment with friendly staff.

Ordered Yaki Soba Chicken and Prawn noodles at Ashford for dinner on 15th of Feb, 2025. We were greeted by lovely waitress Isabella who was very attentive. To our surprise, the food was served with only 3 pieces of Chicken and 2 piece of Prawn for a £15 dish (joke!). The unwelcoming and unapologetic lady floor manager walked in to resolve the issue and offered us a bargain deal (couple more pieces of chicken in a tiny bowl, I am sure you wont be impressed with the photo either). Overall, the experience was bad except Isabella's professional behaviour. I am sure the lady floor manager could learn a thing or two from Isabella (at least know how to greet customers). Won't recommend the restaurant to anyone.

Visited Wagamama Asford all the way from London , quick food service and helpful staffs- great we will be back when we are back to outlet .

The food was overly salty, and the menu was quite confusing. We ordered what we expected to be a Beef Teriyaki Ramen, but instead, we received a Korean-style hot pot with no noodles, barely any beef, and a few sticky rice cakes that looked unappetising. The portion was extremely small—definitely not enough for an adult—yet it cost £18.70 per person. Absolutely unacceptable. Disappointing experience, and we will never be returning.

Today I choose the chilli squid and ginger chicken udon, the food was great, hot and servide was good. Could do with noise cancelling mushrooms as was very noisey,

As expected We came here after shopping, we walked past during the day and there was a queue. Food was good, Service was efficient and got what we paid for. Would go again

Quick service. Usual dishes come at different times but that's waga style. Wasn't a queue when we arrived but was busy. Food was good, very tasty and well presented. Easy to pay.

Food is excellent and exactly what you'd expect from the chain, high quality, if somewhat expensive. Service is good, wait staff are attentive and food rarely takes long to arrive even when the restaurant is busy. Be aware that they bring out each dish as and when it is done, rather than waiting to bring out everything at once. This is, personally, not a problem, but something the entire chain does and something to be aware of. Being in the outlet the parking is ample, and the restaurant can get very busy and loud at times, especially during peak hours.

We went to ashford wagamama and the third time we were very disappointed. We ordered two chicken coconut curry, the two same dishes were different, one had half the portion of chicken than the other and lacking beans and squash. Miso soups did not taste miso, they said they changed the recipe. The ramen had no taste and portions were too small compared to a few years ago. Every time we go the dishes have no standard. Such a shame, it used to be our favourite family restaurant and it is off our list now.

I love this place but I have noticed last couple visit the prices are rising quite a bit it's not a cheap meal for 2 now unfortunately it will start to be come a treat rather than the norm when visiting the out let. ps don't get sat next to the take away hatch they leave it open its freezing and your food goes cold quick

Was sat under a heater that couldn't be turned down that was so hot. Also got charged £5 for table water without charges being explained. Had already ordered drinks so didn't even need the water.

A long time since we visited with our children. They loved the Ramen. My dish was unexpectedly too spicy for me but it was swapped for a much calmer version. I didn't ask, they offered and I was very relieved! Great friendly service throughout.

Great place for a mid shop snack or an early evening meal. The food is excellent and the Katsu curry is highly recommended. Parking at the outlet is usually good but it is pay on exit with ANPR technology.

We visited the outlet centre for the first time and decided to have a very late lunch. Great service by Millie (blue hair) Nothing was too much trouble. Also showed me how to use the loyalty app. Food was great!

Great food and staff, the only thing I would suggest is when a couple come in to eat they would like to eat together! I know when one of them has an allergy or an intolerance to something that the food will take longer to prepare but what is wrong with holding back the one without an allergy so both are served together?

Visited Wagamama on a Sunday with my family, and we had an amazing experience! The food was fantastic, especially the calamari, which was absolutelly stunning. We received outstanding service from Isabella; I couldn't imagine a better experience. Highly recommended.

Such a bad service. Especially one of staff he called ANI, came to our table 6 times in 3 minutes. And also he was so rude. Ridiculous. Food was mediocre. Also my beer was warm 🤮

Service ok , food good, but ripped off with drinks prices, Diet Coke charged at £3.20, web menu shows £2, 175ml wine charged at £8.50, web menu shows 250ml at £6.20 Writing to head office, watch this space, And watch the drink prices carefully £3.20 for a Diet Coke is a rip off.

Group of 5, Tuesday evening approx 6 pm. Although the restaurant was busy, a space was created for us at short notice and we were made to feel welcomed. Matt, our designated member of staff was fantastic, helpful and patient. One order (we had several orders) was very late, others in the group had already eaten. The staff escalated this to the kitchen, the meal was prepared freshly and was ready in 10 mins, the staff apologised for the mix up, took the price of this late meal and 2 sides off the bill as a gesture of goodwill. I am sorry I didn't get the names of all the staff. This team is a great example of customer service. Well done. The reason for not giving 5 for Food - the gyozas were not that great in taste we had chicken and duck gyozas. They were fine as a sharing snack. And, Atmosphere - the whole restaurant was quite noisy and it was difficult to hear staff clearly. This is not a major issue, just be mindful of customers who are hard of hearing, which can be a strain. Cannot fault the staff, perfectly perfect.

Food great first time there same toilets bit of a state they need attention

Awesome food, and customer service. I always go here. Updating 9 years later, I now order on Deliveroo and they are epic and awesome with me. I order a lot. Many times a month the same thing. So I got a Wagamama present a free drink and my own Wagamama reusable chopsticks. It really made me smile. Thank you Ashford Kent Outlet people. I’m Autistic and I don’t drive so it helps so much. I have spent a fortune there and I’m happy to continue it. Just don’t take my chicken katsu curry please.

Me and my family always go here, this Sunday my daughter fell seriously ill in the restaurant and I couldn’t not fault the staff, they were amazing and then the manager covered the cost of our food such an amazing place and amazing staff Thank you

The food is cooked fresh ,very tasty , and well worth it. I went with someone who has a peanut allergy, and so that person's food has to be made by the head chef .You can't pre-book tables so there can be a wait at times but generally I've never waited too long for a table .

We popped in here to have dinner after doing some shopping. Staff were friendly, didn’t wait very long for a table. Food was really good and we even got free edamame !!!

I went in for breakfast, which is served between 8:30 and 11:30. They offer a good selection of teas and a full English breakfast. However, it is quite pricey at £14.99, and this doesn't include a hot drink.

Very disappointed, had to ask about our drinks order, it had been forgotten, our starter order came, which myself and husband shared. The main course for myself no 79 on menu came first, this was a prawn coconut curry which I have had many times, the prawns looked grey and were barely cooked, I asked for this to be changed, the second dish was exactly the same, the manager was helpful and offered to put it right but by this time my husband had finished his meal and I had been put off my food, I was not charged for my meal but on the whole it was very disappointing. Uncooked prawns, not good

It seams just because you have an allergy the service goes out the window Drink ordered and watched it sit on the counter for 15 mins until I asked for it excuse was mmm you have an allergy so you can only be served by a manager ? Yeah for good but not for a drink surely? People arriving after me got there drinks way before mine

Nice atmosphere and good service. The staff was so well trained and made us feel comfortable and food was amazing as well. Pretty worth the money and liked Burnt Basque Cheesecake not the OG one but delicious and yuzu lemon sauce made it zesty.

The culinary experience was satisfactory, and the staff demonstrated commendable friendliness and helpfulness. However, the extended wait time for the food and the scarcity of available seating presented challenges.

Never been before so didn't know what to expect. Food was very nice. Both had beef dumplings to start. Partner had chicken katsu salad. I had chicken katsu curry. Service was odd. We were assigned a young lad who took our orders. He brought the starters out. Fine. We're both still eating the starters when a you lady brought the curry out, said what it was, and placed it in front of my partner, then walked away. Hadn't asked who was having it. The fact we were eating the starters meant it was obviously not required yet. It then took another 10 mins before the salad arrived. Was quite busy so shows its a popular place and the food is good. Just need to sort the service out.

Here are many companies' tastes, very nice place, spotlessly clean, but from companies their clothes were shabby as if they were old. In bags and accessories it was much better

We are a couple both in our seventies. We had a warm welcome and shown to our table. My wife has an allergy and so a manager had to be appointed to deal with our order which reassured us as this was our first Wagamama experience. The food was excellent and we will definitely go again.

Amazing staff one of the best Wagamamas I’ve been to. Our server was Daniel who was very accommodating and professional and all the staff in general were super friendly and happy. Had such a great experience probably the best Wagamama's I’ve visited. The food was obviously super tasty too but the staff definitely stood out. Will visit again :)

I was served by a lovely lady named holly, she was very kind and has brilliant customer service. She was very funny, and food was delicious.

A typical wagamama with perhaps a slightly friendlier staff than most. Good quality fresh tasting food that comes quick and is perfect for a pitstop when shopping at the designer outlet. If you haven't been before it is Asian fusion which basically means great tasting noodles and rice dishes but probably something for everyone.

Very disappointed with the Chilli Squid, looks like Wagamama has changed their squid supplier and method of cooking. Not the same as previous chilli squid.

Food arrived Luke warm, squid overcooked, rubbery and very tough, pulled pork gyozas were soggy and flavourless, chicken and prawn pad Thai was watery and again no flavour, was very disappointed as my first experience of having Wagamama, I had takeaway due to disabilities, very very disappointed.
