Waffle Island ofrecía un 20% de descuento con Summer Scran Fest durante agosto: hacen una variedad de postres, desde crepes hasta cocidos, pero para mí, tenía sentido comprar un gofre. Elegí el Oreo Take Down Bubble Waffle, que se servía con Skittles en lugar de Smarties. No me gustan los dulces reales en los postres, aparte de este intercambio de ingredientes, estaba bien.

For the most part the Arndale Food Court is about as interesting as the most bog standard airport or service station food court you can imagine. KFC, pizza hut, taco Bell, McDonalds (currently closed) and a couple of very unconvincing looking Chinese options. The most interesting place by far is the independent waffle island. Don't expect anything savoury here, it's all sweet and it's all loaded on too! We had a bubble waffle which they make in front of you and then serve it like it's a big ice cream in a paper cone loaded with the toppings in the middle. Not a bad option if you fancy this sort of thing.

Waffle was superb, the chocolate cake was taken from the display cabinet and served to me.. the cake was rock hard, who knows how long it had been there. The server heated it up, it was still rock hard, stale! We always come here when we visit Manchester but won't be back. Use the display cake for displays but serve your customers a fresh slice.

Hidden away on the top floor food court, it's amazing! Cheap and unbelievably tasty, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a sweet snack! Good portion size, friendly service and will definitely be going back for more in the future :)

Heard about waffle island on social media the pics looked so so good, and made the trip up from Sheffield to try and the bubble waffle was unreal. So much so that every time I make the trip to Manchester don’t leave without one!! If you’ve not tried you don’t know what you’re missing, staff are always extremely friendly too!
