Great experience for my mum's birthday, the manager was really friendly and helpful. I asked about vegetarian dishes and she explained most dishes could be adapted and made suitable, without being asked she suggested bringing my young daughter's main out with the adult starters which was great. Lovely place, delicious food, would recommend!

I have been to this restaurant twice now and I’ve been quite disappointed with both experiences. On both occasions there were only ourselves and another table in which is fine as they are a newish establishment in Beverley. The building was cold and I kept my coat on the whole time. I personally didn’t rate the food that great. There were 8 of us and most of us had the steak in peppercorn sauce and it really lacked flavour and presentation. It was also very well done when I asked for medium rare. On the other hand the children really enjoyed their food (burger and pizza). I’ve been going to the cottingham branch for years and always really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. It just feels off at the Beverley location, but I really do hope they do well and it’s just because it’s a new establishment. I’d imagine the setting to be perfect for Christmas parties. Unfortunately I won’t be going back.

I recently visited this restaurant and ordered a prawn sandwich with chips. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The bread used for the sandwich was thin and of low quality, and the overall presentation of the dish was poor. For nearly £10, I expected much better quality ingredients and attention to detail. Additionally, the restaurant was uncomfortably cold, which made the entire visit unpleasant. With these factors combined, it’s hard to justify the price or recommend this place based on my experience.

The food itself was lovely but the staff’s manners were poor e.g. very short, didn’t ask if the food was good, etc. little things like that. The staff were poorly dressed (tracksuit) and did not look presentable enough to be working in a restaurant as well as using their phones and being on very loud telephone calls behind the bar in view of customers as well as blasting music from their phones and singing loudly from the kitchen. However what really tipped me and my partner over the edge was one blonde waitress who was stood in the doorway of the kitchen VAPING!!!! I usually like Pasco’s restaurants and adjacent for example Cibo’s in Willerby, however the display of behaviour i have witnessed tonight was a breach of health and safety codes and blatant poor customer service.

We enjoyed today’s trip to the Beverley branch of Pasco’s. The staff are very friendly and the food was lovely - we had pizza and mushroom bruschetta. The large seating space is rather, er, strange. A central pool with a huge fat yellow fish swimming rather sadly in a bare black plastic-lined pond, a fake cherry blossom tree, some climbing plastic ivy. It’s as though got a job lot of random bargain bin furnishings and bunged them all in together and hoped for the best. Not sure they’ve quite got the vibe right but you could call it quirky! And I would go back for the lovely food and warm staff.

Fabulous 60th birthday celebrations were had at Pascos Beverley. Every member of staff were friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble. They catered for 20 of us, getting all the meals out - sorting very quickly a couple of hiccups. Meals were enjoyed by all. Food was delicious. We will certainly return. Might just need to make it more visible from the road so people know where it is because it's a restaurant you wouldn't want to loose. 10/10

We would like to recommend to go to Waffle 21 , we had a fabulous meal there. Very tastefully decorated. Lots of thought put into everything and attention to detail. Good variety of drinks and a nice choice of starters and mains. We had burger. Pasta and pizza. We were so full we couldn’t get around to pudding but will try next time. Prompt service and immaculately clean everywhere. Parking outside as well. Looking forward to seeing the live entertainment booked.

The restaurant area of Waffle 21 is large and spacious, very useful during these times of social distancing. Food is good quality, service was great. We had a pub lunch, including a vegetarian option for myself. There are a couple of large TVs to watch sports on and it was especially great that my team won while we were having lunch! The space has put in good Coronavirus measures-- security at the door to check temperatures, sign in to Track and Trace, hand sanitiser on the walls, option to place orders via an app on your phone, and a generous amount of space between seating areas. There's also plenty of parking and the building is fully wheelchair accessible.

Based on other reviews, I went here with high expectations. The food and drink exceeded tham in every way. I thought that, with the owner being Italian, they might do decent Italian food. They don't: they do sensational Italian food, and that's from someone who doesn't usually choose italian food. My main was seafood linguini with garlic bread at 15.95. When it arrived, i thought that the portion didn't look huge, but after I'd fought my way through 5 very large shell-on king prawns, about 15 mussels and 20 chunks of calamari, plus linguini, all covered in a rich tomato source, I realised otherwise. Sweet was lemon cheesecake, served with vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries and fresh raspberries at 6.95. Washed down with a lovely pint of IPA and a pint of Old Peculier, the total cost was just under £30. Sensational value for this quality. My friend had the vegetarian quiche, which was also excellent. The pub is a delight; very traditional with lots of quiet corners and a lovely outside seating area for sunny days like when I visited. Lots of choice of cask beer: there were 8 on, mostly from local breweries, with a mild and an old ale. The locals are very friendly: indeed, I was chatting to the very same 2 locals someone else complained about and gave a 1* review for. They were really funny and we had a great time. I guess if you don't like humour, go to a boring pub full of non-people rather than a characterful pub like this. I can think of very few other places that offer this kind of quality and value: to be precise, none. Worth 6 stars.

Such a change to find a pub/restaurant that caters for vegetarians as well as vegans. If I'm eating out I want real food, not fake meat and fake cheese so it was a real treat to be offered apricot and Stilton pate and cheesy Wensleydale potato cakes with salad. Very friendly waitress and she was happy to check the ingredients of some of the dishes for me as I do have an unusual dietary restriction.

Birthday meal and as always superb food and service. All of the staff cannot do enough to make the experience the best. I do not know how they manage to maintain such a wide array of different dishes on the menu all of which are cooked to perfection. The swan is always our first choice for any special meal.

We would normally have gone to nearby Wetherspoons for breakfast but it was closed so we headed to Cafe V as it is number one on Trip Advisor. OK, it was our first time there so we didn't really know about the standard operating procedure. There were menus on the table so we took a seat, perused the menus and waited ...and waited ...and waited. Finally got up to where they were taking take-away orders and tried to place an order but were told to go back and someone would come to you (which they did). Anyway, moving on. The light breakfast was small but looked even smaller on the large plate it was served. Toast came on a separate large plate. I think it would have been visually more appealing to have had it all on the same plate. Food was tasty enough although the bacon was rather tasteless. Everything was hot (including the drinks). A bit on the pricey side and, all things considered, although we would go back, we won't be in a hurry to do so.
