Vudu in Worthing

We had a lovely lunch with a selection of small plates ( mid week offer 3 for 2 ) , service was excellent and Aaron was a very attentive waiter. We will definitely return.

Absolutely lovely breakfast and lovely place, excellent customer service from Charlotte the food was excellent next time we come we will try the cocktails.

Just the two of us, food was delicious, white wine served chilled and the red wine aerated at a perfect temperature!…ambiance with in house dj mixing some great beats made perfect by the attentive service of Sofia……thanks….a perfect evening! Terry

We've enjoyed Vudu a few times but Wed. 21 Aug lunch = 2 incompetent front-of-house staff. Place was half empty, but the 2 inattentive staff (of the 'just a summer job so don't give a S- variety'), relentlessly skulked in the back, as though no one was there. We waited & waited for either to take our order (& we were closest the bar). Eventually had to usher 1 over...Little Miss Dour Face, whose permanent grimace cemented the frosty atmosphere pervading the place. Waited & waited for our drinks. Then ushered the other over..."Oh, she's changing the draft barrel" More waiting, before finally drinks came with the food... but no cutlery or napkins. Got up this time to ask misery-face for our utensils. Thought I'd take them back myself (save more waiting for "service"). I stood while they slowly-slowly wiped the cutlery. As they finished they said "I'll bring it over."...Why didn't you say that to start with?! You could see I was standing there. Not once did they ask how the food was, not once whether we wanted more drinks. Needless to say: no tip. Food was good. We went a la carte because (& here's a tip): unless you want to power guzzle gassy alcohol in 90mins skip "Bottomless" brunch which, at our sitting, consisted of 1 meal only & as much select booze as you could bloat yourself with in the allotted time, for JUST £39 ie 4-5+ drinks before it's even worthwhile.

i came here about a year ago and complained and the service and the lack of experience or any personality of one of the guys came back with some friends was met with similar drippy attitude and lack of what seems to be any idea of what’s going on suddenly surrounded by teenagers sitting behind me ! pushing and shoving and being really inappropriate i was told by the waiter he was too busy to deal with it or even notice !!! apparently he can’t deal with collecting a glass and dealing with a large group of people causing trouble and upsetting other customers this place is not for teenagers its supposed to be a it sophisticated my bill was £60 i didn’t finish the food as i ended up outside in the cold don’t employ kids to deal with adults

Lovely food and great selection of drinks, but overall this experience was made by our server Taylor - she couldn’t do enough, we sat outside and as darkness descended she produced a heater, a blanket, another bottle of wine - want more could you want! She is a credit and would keep us coming back. Thank you Taylor x

Excellent evening at VUDU, the vibe was fun, with cool decor and music. Delicious food and very fun cocktails. Our favourites were the diver David and the vudu you. Highly recommend!

Visited for a drink with friends for some food and cocktails. Didn't manage to get any pictures, but it was amazing! Had the diver david cocktail made by Taylor, and it was great, a proper show piece. She did a great job with the cocktails.

Honestly, each dish was absolutely delicious. Every flavour was spot on. We were bowled over by all the small pates we had. So so yummy! Please open up in Godalming. We need you!

Went for afternoon tea and it was amazing. Amazing food, scones were spectacular , everything tasted fresh, service was the fine balance between being available with constant interruptions . We enjoyed the fact that there were lots of savoury items which were balanced well with the sweet ones. Bottomless hot drinks, spring rolls and pork gyozas for 2 hours. Will definitely go back to have this again

First off , dog friendly Second , chill out music , not obtrusive Food , absolutely yum ! We had six tapas dishes , Inc. flatbread , bbq chicken , sweet and sour pork .. and that was plenty for two Coffee was very good as well Staff very friendly and it seemed a quality place to go

I came to Vudu for a brunch, I was greeted by our server Harry he was impeccable with his service, he was friendly and just a fantastic representation of the company! I will definitely be returning very soon.

Third visit with friends & sadly the service was awful - wasn’t particularly busy but felt like the waitress really didn’t want to be there. The first time we visited left without getting food as waited so long & second time our drinks order was totally wrong several times.

It was busy when we turned up for brunch today and only 2 high chairs that we had to wait our turn for. The food was fantastic though and the staff all very friendly - we’ll certainly be returning!

I enjoyed a lovely lunch for my 60th birthday with my wife. We had 5 of the small plates and a portion of cheesy chips. All of the dishes were delicious and went very well together with some coming sizzling to the table. We also had a couple of the special cocktails with my Diver Dave whisky cocktail served out of a deep sea divers helmet which was quite spectacular. It's a very spacious area with lovely decoration and a nice ambience. We have already booked our next visit so that our daughter can enjoy this lovely eatery as well.

The food, drinks, service and atmosphere are excellent here. I’ve got some pretty annoying and tricky dietary requirements, and the chef came to my table to talk me through how he could adapt the menu for me, which was really appreciated. Avoid this place as you will get ripped off without realising it. This was my first time here ( a treat from my friends for my birthday ) and I was so disappointed. Ordered my usual drink without looking at their drinks menu as knew what I wanted and when we got the bill they had charged us for doubles. We asked to speak to manager and a young blonde lady came to the table and said ‘yeah’ which was so rude in itself…(the company obviously doesn’t train their staff in customer service and how to deal with customer complaints) so we told her our issue and she just pointed to the menu and said it says double measures are included and walked off not at all concerned with our complaint.

I was in Worthing with a friend. We looked at what was on offer in Warwick street! This place was refreshingly different!! Great decorations! We had tea served in iron teapots - no in a mug with a tea bag!! We had toasted sandwiches which were delicious! The menu is quite varied! Some delicious dishes! We’ll be going again!!
