Seriously classy. Toilets absolutely fantastic condition, had one of the best wees of my life. Beers were cold and tasty, despite lack of selection. Popadoms cracked like I’ve never seen anything crack before!

We went last night after the Leeds rhinos game about 22:30ish it had a few people in and we was welcomed with great hospitality food was beautiful had a few drinks too mains sides pickle tray naans for all four of us £100 absolute bargain highly recommend

This is the second time in a row I've been disappointed with the quality. Jalfrezi is my go to meal in most Indians but this was not a good example of one in my opinion. Seemed like a mixture of other curry sauces to me!

Portion size is decent but the flavours just aren’t there. Totally bland and cooked without any real flair. Much better places to visit these days. This place feels like a 1990s throw back.

Had the worst starters I have ever had, Chicken tikka. Lamb chops and kebabs was dry and chewy and cold and don’t ask about the fish pokora it was disgusting. I will never order from here again. You would thought you cannot go wrong with starters but oh boy you can !!!!!!!

Went here last night on speck,we were made welcome, upon getting to the table that was clean and covered with white linen cloths we looked at the menu and made our choices, when ordering we were going to order two naan breads the waiter said that with what we had ordered we would not be able to eat the second one so he would bring one and if we wanted the second one he would bring it, as he did not like to see food go to waste. When the food came out it all hot and tasty,another place we will be going back to in August

One of, if not the best Indian meals we've ever had. Only gave it a go as we were staying in the hotel next door. The onion bhajis were golden and crispy the curries were full of meat and flavour. Peshawari naan was amazing. Service was great and the place is spotlessly clean. Just a shame we'll probably never get go again as we're not from the area. Thanks for an amazing meal.

Just had the most amazing meal at Voujon, one of the top meals was the jal jool, perfectly spiced and full of flavour, we were a party of 6 celebrating a hen party weekend, after seeing the reviews online, decided on this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint , Thankyou to you and your team. Order here on a weekly basis and sometimes more because I'm lazy and this is the best Indian restaurant I've ever tried. Prices are really fair, the meat is always very tender the food is very high quality with big portion sizes and clearly high quality ingredients used. I forgot to order rice on Uber eats so I had to call the restaurant and spoke to Afsor who was really nice and added it onto the order for me and made my evening! Really appreciate the quality and amazing service so will keep ordering!

A group of 4 of us went to this restaurant. We had order 2 curries and 4 rotis to be shared between all of us. The waiter came and asked us if that is all and we said yes. He then proceeded to say “We don’t usually serve customers only 2 curries, usually a customer has a starter, a curry and a roti for one person” We then said we weren’t very hungry but just wanted to try out the food. He then got agreesive and almost forced us to order more but we said no. Very rude, shocking, and wouldn’t recommend. Train your staff better! Appalling.

We got a text at 6:22 saying our food was with the driver. We live 5 minutes from Voujon. I called at 6:52 and was told that the food was still in the kitchen. The food arrived at 7:05 and it wasn't hot enough. I'm quite certain it was ready at 6:22, when we got the text, and it sat waiting to be delivered for 45 minutes. We've always been happy with the food and service in the restaurant but we will not be ordering a takeaway again. Very disappointed, regardless of the free chicken tikka.

Beautiful rich full of flavour Curries, recommend the Spinach Balti packed with lots of vegetables, Pakora starters are light and crisp and the chicken is so soft and tender!! Lovely kind staff very accommodating🙏

I am a huge fan of Indian food, but I often hesitate to try new restaurants because I've been disappointed in the past. However, Voujon Indian Restaurant was a delightful surprise! A friend recommended it, and I was instantly impressed by the food's quality. Even the poppadoms were a sign of good things to come. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the portions were generous. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience that I highly recommend.

We joined a big birthday party here on 11.02.24 and, were left hugely disappointed. We (my partner and I) ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala (Awful, with sloppy, soup-like sauce!) and a Lamb Rogan Josh (Excellent!). Both arrived without rice or, anything to accompany them? They put down a plate of chapatis on the table so, we took one each, NOT knowing they were someone else's who, then went without! We asked staff where our rice was? They looked at each other blankly, then one said "You have to order it with your main" What?! Who eats a curry without rice or, bread of some kind?! We then asked to order some rice but, it NEVER arrived?! We were thankfully given a little rice from other guests. To be fair; at £10.95 and £11.95 respectively, the prices are okay but, at £11 for 2 pints of Cobra, that killed the 'fair' prices idea for me! It takes pennies to make a portion of rice but, a penny-pinching policy ruined our meal and, thus the evening for us. One HUGELY puzzling thing; I ordered (at the same time as our order) a Chicken Byriani for my sister AND, that DID come with rice as standard? TIP TO PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS: If eating here, ASK at the time of ordering for whatever you want it to be served with because, you WON'T get it retrospectively. TO THE OWNER: Put yourself in the shoes of a client and, make sure your staff make your customers aware of your hit and miss rice policy because, it WILL make or, break, the entire experience of 'VOUJON' for them. Although we live close by and, were hoping to make this our new 'Go To' Indian Restaurant, we'll stick with our usual one in town.

Masum, Kohinoor, Syd, Afsor, Yaseen were all lovely waiters for our large group. Had a lovely meal, can only thank the staff both outside of house and in the kitchen.

Excellent curries, best in leeds. We travel from Chapel Allerton just for this curry house. Yaseen the waitor was on top form and looked after us well.

Excellent Indian cuisine with extensive menu. Everything we had was expertly prepared and deliciously spiced. I make a point of visiting whenever I am in the area, which is unfortunately not often enough!

Really annoying as the last takeaway we had was great. This time turned up 20minutes late. Everything flat cold. The naan bread resembled more of a poppadom over done, really crispy and missing its filling… may still be in the tandoor, dissapointing

Best curry I've had. We've tried 3 different curries from here and they've all been super tasty. Duck is a bit fatty but that's kinda to be expected. Can reccomend the korma butter chicken and duck masala.

Had a lovely meal with my wife two weeks ago. Food authentic and staff very attentive especially the owners son. He couldn't have done more to make experience special. Will definitely be returning in the near future with our daughter, who is now residing in Headingley has a Student.

We fancied a traditional Indian. Ordered tandoori mixed grill and Lamb Rogan Josh. Can thoroughly recommend

I explained very clearly to the head waiter that I have a severe nut allergy, couldn’t have been more transparent with the rest of the table acknowledging. Despite the waiter (senior at the restaurant) appearing to understand, my meal was undoubtedly saturated in nuts after tasting, most likely almond paste used to cook the sauce. When the waiter mentioned about almond paste being in the kitchen at the time of ordering I was absolutely explicit that it couldn’t go near my meal, and within two mouthfuls I knew there was a big problem. I spent the rest of the night seriously ill and worrying I would go into anaphylactic shock. The duty of care for its customers was totally non-existent and had the allergy been more severe the outcome would have almost certainly been more devastating. A thorough interval investigation must be carried out to ensure this doesn’t happen again and put someone else’s life at risk.

I am so disappointed by packaging .like salad was in a carrier bag ,how they can put salad in bags ! Unbelievable I had one on of the worst chicken tikka masala ,it was too sweet ,chips was so cold and not fresh at all . I have paid £40 ,but I could not eat anything .pure waste of money . I deserve full refund .

Visiting from Herefordshire for the wife’s belated birthday, booked the hotel not knowing this gem of a place was attached, 3 night stay, ate here twice, absolutely nothing like it back home, what a find, and if in the area please visit you won’t be disappointed

Omg, what a great find. Staying at the hotel next door so had to come here for dinner and I’m so glad I did. Excellent menu, plenty of new dishes to try. And try I did. Chicken liver tikka, what a dish, melt in your mouth liver covered in an amazing sauce. Fish Chattak, soft, tasty fish curry. Again amazing flavours. Rice and Nan bread also spot on. And to top it off, they even server my favourite Peroni 0.0. Wish this place was closer to home. Visit 2. Picked up a take away while staying at the hotel. Jal Jool sounded interesting with the chillies and pickles, was told that the sauce was very green and I wasn’t disappointed , this is another winning dish. Next time I’m over , I’m having this green dish of spice again.

Absolutely superb. The online booking process, the welcome, the service and the quality of food couldn't be faulted - my Special Rajstani Balti was something I had not encountered before. I only visit Leeds once a year but will most definitely be returning to the Voujon when I'm there next - and will probably make the same menu choices!

Can't believe I haven't been to this local gem before! We asked chef to recommend the food, not usually something I would do (especially with my 12-year-old at the table). Really tasty food! Waited for our fifth time after moving into the area and before reviewing! Wow, hands down the best takeaway- so much so that we’ll be trying it out in person next time. We’ve had a LOT on the menu - all amazing. The highlight for me are my family favourite shami kebabs and biryani, and the fact if you ask for what you want in what style- you’ll get it.
