Everything was top notch in terms of quality and price! Clean room. We checked out at 11 a.m. and we were able to enjoy the relaxation area all day. It wasn't crowded. Little touches that are a pleasure: bottle of water on request, bag to put wet things in before leaving Great!

Great hotel poor heating in rooms asked for additional bedding and heater but slept with additional clothing very cold. Swimming pool and jacuzzi great. Dining and bar cold but great service and hospitality let down by no heating in rooms.

Stayed for a couple of nights at a work event. Rooms were clean, buffet food wasn’t great on the 1st night but the food was fantastic for the gala evening. Great size conference room for the event which had ample facilities. Quality of room service food was poor (£30 for a frozen pizza and a inedible sandwich)

Stayed for two nights. Pay £10 per night for carparking. Hotel was fine, clean, bit tired in places, cold in the second lobby. Drinks at the bar were good (as expected, not cheap). Breakfast was okay nothing special loads of staff bit not much being done they mostly wander around not knowing what to do, one morning there were no plates for hot food, I had to ask someone who then decided to check for themselves as I might be lying. It then took 5 minutes for anyone to to turn up with plates. One morning there was some orange coloured drink I presumed to be orange juice, second morning I thought I'd try it but there were no juices. You have to ask for decaffeinated coffee. One night a fire alarm went off at 03:09, for about 2 minutes before it was turned off. That meant everyone went outside into the car-park only to be told it was a false alarm. In the morning at checkout nothing was said until they asked how my stay was and I mentioned it.

We stayed here on Saturday the 2nd of November while visiting friends in the area. This is a lovely hotel with a chic feel to it. The welcome and check-in from Maryam was wonderful, she was very warm and friendly and gave us all the information we needed. The hotel has two lifts, one is more modern than the other but they work and are available to all floors. Slightly confusing though when you pressed floor three, it's actually the second floor not third, so bear this in mind when you are exiting the lift. The room was very clean, modern and tastefully furnished with a lovely modern bathroom. The bed was comfortable too. Service in the bar was also excellent, barman was very polite and professional. Breakfast also good, don't think I've ever received such a warm welcome in a breakfast room before, unfortunately, I didn't catch the ladies name but she was fantastic! The reason I have only given 4 points is for the fact that you have to pay £10 per night for parking. This really gets my back up, you're at the hotel and it's not like you have a choice of where to park so they cash in on this fact. You need to do away with this. Otherwise, an excellent stay.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip. The hotel room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfy - the pillows were big and fluffy, bedsheets were soft. It didn't feel like a standard bed length wise. We had a meal in the restaurant and it was pleasant and filling. The breakfasts had a large variety on offer and was good quality. I asked for fried eggs on my last morning and they were freshly cooked and arrived quickly. I received great service from the waiter /breakfast staff - friendly and happy to help. When we arrived we were greeted pleasantly by a receptionist called Zara who was smiley, polite and friendly. We had issues with our room cards and she swiftly sorted the problem out in a quick manner to ensure we were not waiting long. The first time we did not need to present our IDs when having this issue. The second time we had a problem with the room card, there was a blonde lady who seemed more manager level who also at the reception who was quite rude when dealing with other guests if the same issue who were struggling to find their IDs. She then made a comment about it being good that I I mentioned I didn't need a ID the last time as the receptionist (Zara) was on probation. I did think this was uncalled for as she was on her own the first time with a large queue of people and it was easy to forget on the moment when trying to be attentive to all guests in a busy foyer. It just feels quite unnecessary and made me feel uncomfortable and sorry for the younger girl. When I checked out, she was just as pleasant as the first time I was in the hotel so it seemed a shame for her Manager to say such a thing especially when there was a foyer full of people. Just abit unprofessional. Overall a good stay apart from that interaction with the manager in front of people.

Stayed for 1 night in King std room with breakfast. The room was lovely, nicely furnished except for a very stained chair. However the so called 'King size' bed wasn't, it was barely larger than a double, if it was indeed a King. ( we have one at home so can compare directly) The mattress was lumpy, and well passed its use by date as the springs were terrible ! Very poor nights sleep as a result. Hotel was very busy with very noisy (inconsiderate) people up and down corridors all through the night, banging doors and shouting and giggling. False fire alarm at 4am didn't help matters and broke what little sleep we had, even further. Breakfast was the highlight, but returning to our room the key card refused to work. ( this also happened recently at another IHG / Indigo hotel) Is this new company policy on the last day? Seriously, 8am disconnection of key card was not appreciated, resulting in a walk to reception from the 3rd floor. Not happy on checkout being asked about score out of 10 in public area, is this also a new policy as this again happened at IHG/ Indigo hotel recently. In essence we would score 7/10 and comment 'Adequate, but we expected better from IHG'.

Breakfast... first day teas and coffee were freezing the next day they'd done away with the canisters and were making fresh! Brilliant! Staff were friendly and helpful the venue was very clean parking was easy - a nice place to stay all in all

Really nice place to stay for Solihull. Short trek for NEC and airport, but worked out nicely for our party. Rooms are well laid out with good furniture and comfortable beds, windows that keep the noise out, and quiet AC that keeps the temp level, all the basics you need. USB chargers, TV you can cast to, biccies with the tea and coffee passes the nice to have extras box too. Layout is a little odd and one of our party struggled to find room at first (room numbering is a bit non standard) but nicely set up for conferences as well as just overnight stays. Well set up fitness club and small pool/spa to boot. Staff very helpful and friendly, small bar well set up. Only had breakfast which was very nicely done (self serve, but extras cooked to order on request) and very well labelled for allergies etc - welcome addition as some places overlook this a little for breakfasts. Very short walk to Solihull centre for shopping and food and drink. Need to persuade folks to rebook this place for our next Birmingham meetings!

I was here for leisure but my other half was here for work so whilst he was at work in the office I could make the most of the onsite leisure facilities (sauna, steam room and jacuzzi) . From start to finish felt really looked after especially by Lucy at reception. She went above and beyond and provided exceptional service. It's the second time staying at Voco, previously stayed in the Cardiff one and can see why Voco is a recommended stay! Worth the money and breakfast was nice too and tasted fresh! Thank you and see you again!

Unfortunately after my second stay here I’ve dropped my rating from 5 star to 3 star . Beware room 3000 where the window is screwed shut for some reason . It was like a sauna and we slept so badly . Even worse I had specifically requested a room with opening window as I have allergies . The night porter Waz was lovely and tried to make amends by bringing a fan and iced water but they simply weren’t enough as it was a HOT night . I have fed this back to the hotel -they have asked if they could do anything to put this right - but when asked how they would usually put right a problem like this retrospectively - they have twice texted me to say they will look into It immediately but then never got back to me . Suggestion to hotel - don’t send a text asking how is the room if you’re not prepared to deal with any negative feedback but really you should be able to comfortably sleep in a hotel room . Apart from the overheated room it was well decorated , good location , EV charging and nice staff. I think we were just unlucky and I would give it another try .

We were staying in the Travelodge over the road and as it was chucking it down we decided a quick scamper to Kismet would be sensible. I’m glad we did as we really enjoyed the food and service. We chose king prawn with garlic and chilli, tandoori lamb chop, then meat thali and duck bhuna. All of the food was well presented, tasted great and was very filling. We ended up leaving some as the portion size was a bit much for us.
