Lovely Sunday roast. Quite traditional but very tasty. Good service and an easy location to drive to and park at.

Vegans beware. This place is fine if you like steak, but the vegan cauliflower option was a cauliflower chopped in half, roasted and dumped on a plate with some roasted tomatoes and some green sauce. Pretty Dreadful.

I went here for a birthday treat and was amazed at the quality and service. The staff were friendly yet professional, and the food we had was excellent. I had the scotch egg starter, and for mains we had pork and the lamb. The only criticism was there was not enough sauce with the pork it was very tasty though. Nice atmosphere too. And the half price January deal on mains made it excellent value.

Can't really say Saturday afternoon only four people in the place ,my fish and chips were very average,partner loved her meal,waitress was very good.

We've eaten here a number of times over the last 6 years and I'm sorry to say it's not as good as it once was. The location in Meriden is good, easy parking. We had booked in advance for a 2 course meal. It's an MPW steak house, and basically with one exception all of the steak meals had £5-£10 supplements. Not what I was expecting. Food of course was cooked to perfection, but the supplements definitely brought the mood down.

Fabulous place. Staff were so friendly,prompt & extremely helpful. The food was yum!! So fresh & exactly what we requested ,due to dietary requirements etc. Plus- we saw the Sunday lunches on the table next to us & they looked amazing!! So that's what I'm having next time!

Food was ok but not the standard you would expect from such a high profile name.

Only had breakfast here with our event team, but staff looked after us and made us feel very welcome. Food was of a good standard and the buffet style offing was plentiful and cooked well.

Food quality has deteriorated significantly since our last visit. Head waiter was unprofessional shouting at our waitress in front of guests. I know it's only Marco Pierre White's name over the door because if he was there the Head Waiter would either lose his job or get a very public drubbing. Scotch Egg is still worthwhile but everything else has taken a turn for the worse. Dauphinoise potatoes are very good though even if smothered too much in cheese

The evening I was here with my partner for my birthday, it was early maybe explains our experience, I had a burger that was what I'd say was average and my partner had pork stake which she said was tasteless and dry served a poached apple that was rock hard not a good experience at all I was looking forward to it being a place of reputation, aslo the man next said meat had was fatty with grisly. Also saw someone else send food back completely I won't be going there again

We had a lovely afternoon tea for my Nan's birthday. We had a little trouble with a Wowcher voucher that she had and the staff were so lovely and helpful. The afternoon tea itself was wonderful and Danny and Jennifer who served us were so friendly and chatty which is exactly what you want! Such a fantastic afternoon. Thank you so much!

A poor experience that will not see us return. We booked our table for a Saturday evening sitting a few weeks in advance and notified the restaurant upon booking that we had a voucher for the Steak & Wine Groupon deal. Whilst booking we provided the voucher details as requested. All was okay.... so we thought! We arrived and the restaurant was not busy, but had a nice atmosphere. Upon arrival we were seated and asked if we would like any bread and olives, to which we said yes. We then enquired on whether it was possible for us to pay additional charges to upgrade our voucher and/or Steak. The waitress said she would ask the question and be back shortly. No drinks order was taken at this stage, but we assumed this would be done when the bread arrived. 34 minutes later the Manager arrived at our table to inform us that the voucher couldn't be used after 5pm. We were not aware of this small print as it was a gift, we were only provided a barcode. We were also perplexed as to why this wasn't addressed prior to our arrival, when we had informed them of our voucher and provided the reference number! The manager "honoured" the offer because we were already there, but this straight away put a damper on the evening. Not only that, at this point we still hadn't been asked what drinks we'd like and the bread & olives we asked for upon being seated hadn't arrived. 45 minutes in, we were asked what we'd like to drink and these arrived quickly afterwards. We asked again if we could pay and upgrade the Steak, to be eventually told no. We were however "allowed on this occasion" to order Starters and Desserts?! Odd. We tried to enjoy our evening despite this poor start and ordered our Starter, Steak & Desserts. We ordered our Steak with Bearnaise sauce... both arrived with Peppercorn. It wasn't worth the complaint at this point, we just wanted to eat and leave. We can say with absolute certainty however, that we will not be returning, and that it was very much a mediocre experience. You are paying for the "name" and not quality of food or service. A shame, but we know now to avoid.

This was a lovely restaurant with excellent service. The food was reasonably priced: around the £7 mark for starters and £15-£20 for mains, unless you opted for steak which was around the £30 mark. The decor is very nice, it feels like an upmarket restaurant without the up market prices. I enjoyed all my food and so would recommend this as a place to come and eat, especially for a special occasion.

My son had treated 8 of us for boxing day lunch 2023 the price had increased by £10 to now £35.00 per head ,we had been many times before table beautifully dressed party hats crackers room beautifully decorated now no table decorations in fact you would not know it was Xmas. Very disappointed never again.

Fantastic service here. It’s a rarity to find genuine managers who are as authentic as Wissem. He was lovely and genuine with me and other customers, but I also watched him with his team. One had only slightly got my order a little wrong, he came calmly in to resolve but I also watched him discreetly assure his team-was so impressed with him. He was calm, gentle and authentic- look after him Marco Pierre, managers like that are really rare. Had two lovely dinners here whilst staying at the hotel. The steak was full of flavour and the chicken was so juicy. Didn’t know that this restaurant was at the hotel but would definitely stay here again for that reason.

Got this as a gift, wasn't impressed , the carpark was a descent size so 1st impressions were good ,entrance was spacious clean with a very pleasant receptionist, the dining area was OK space wise but was shocked with the amount of stains on the carpet ,the service was brilliant, the starter and pudding were superb but the main was not good at all ,had 3 meat roast ,the chicken breast was dry and over cooked, the carrots were tasteless and the stuffing ball was rock hard , 2nd main was leek and chicken pie ,delicious but the garden peas had some hard 1s so spoilt the meal ,the atmosphere was OK but noticed the people with vouchers were in the same area almost on the outside perimeter of the rest of the diners and there tables were laid out a little more pleasant, prices were good but drinks were pricy and we were on soft drinks at that wouldn't re visit but happy for the experience.

Cold food served on cold plates, 10 of us dined here tonight and it was worse than dreadful......save your money and stay at home 🙄

Great tasting food and lovely service

Hotel side was great Marco White side was not,service was slow food was only warm, just paying over the odds for a so called name.

Had a Christmas get together here, the starter of game pie was not very gamey, and could have done with more flavour. The main was rump steak with 10 chips and 3 tomatoes, the chips were good but not enough of them, the steak was ok, but nothing I couldn't cook at home better, it didn't have a nice tasty crust and if anything there was a sweet sauce on it, cutting it was not great either, a bit tough trying to saw into it, seemed cooked to the requirements. Pudding of brownie and a dolop of ice cream was the best course, this was tasty. In all I would not recommend, I was hoping for something that would be hugely tasty, but it wasn't. More salt on the steak and a tasty char would have helped, more herbs in the starter also needed. Portion size was also a bit disappointing. Not many people eating there either.

£9.25 for olives and stale bread. I rest my case

There was somewhat of a delay from ordering to food arriving, and when it did, the waiter knocked my colleagues glass of red into her lap. He was kind, polite, and courteous about his faux pas. We were both given complimentary drinks and moved to another table. The food was as may be expected for a gastro dining experience, but I wouldn't consider it anything to rave about. My colleague asked for no sauce, and then we both were served a burger with a different sauce altogether! At this point, after the drink fiasco, a table move, and the food going cold, we didn't bother raising that. Would I rush back, definitely not,

We had an excellent afternoon tea. Lovely staff with attentive and friendly service in a luxurious setting and the food was of a high quality. I was particularly impressed with the macarons which actually tasted of the flavour they purported to be....many macarons I've tried in the past taste of nothing but almonds. So this was very good indeed! I would very much recommend afternoon tea here especially as it's such good value compared with other venues. Obviously as it's cheaper there's some compromises, so no tea menu, no amuse bouche and just one scone each BUT it was to no detriment to the experience and the cake slices were quite hearty so another scone would've been quite filling. I will definitely return and have already been telling everyone about how good it is. Lots of parking and great for those for mobility issues.

Rooms were messed up not enough beds and organisation for my brothers wedding was very poor. Atmosphere was good because it was friends and family

One of the steaks was very tough. Even though we were given a fresh meal the dinner for 2 was not as good as I had finished before the replacement arrived. This was too expensive for my budget and did not live up to my expectations.

Popped in around 11-30 pm on way home for a couple of drinks, only 3 of us in there stayed until 01-00 , very nice place clean and very comfortable with tasteful modern furnishings, inc large T.V...drinks no dearer than other loacal bars, staff young , well presented, very polite and friendly..will definitely be back. Hadn't been there before always thought it would be a bit pricey and too posh but not the case! .. well worth a visit for a drink or two..(didn't dine)

I'm having to leave a single star review. I'm just going to make this a simple one. The staff, service and atmosphere are great, however the recipe for the Chicken and Leak pie on the main menu has been changed. Now, it's not even a proper pie. Just a shallow bowl with a few bits of chicken in a watery sauce, with a bit of pastry on top, served with a hand full of peas. Before the pie was much better and actually worth the price. Now, unfortunately I would say it's not even worth a fiver.

This place is great! The service is unmatched. Ouissem, the Restaurant and Bar Manager, truly cares about your experience, and you can tell making the customers happy is the team’s main priority. The food is amazing – the best 3-course Sunday lunch we have had in a while - and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, and wide wine list. I will come back here again and again. Highly recommend!

Felt very tired and old where no money has been spent on the corridors and rooms. The reception and restaurant is obviously the area they spent the money. Food was lovely and the service was good too. There was a huge booking issue. Paid for 2 nights, arrived and Reception stated no booking or payment made even with evidence of booking details and payment made. Was refused entry. Had to pay again for the 2 nights upon arrival. After 1 night the door key would not work. Reception stated key been blocked as payment was only for 1 night. Showed yet more evidence and they unblocked the key. Horrendous experience after a long day.

Extremely slow service. The waiter eventually came to take our order but realised that he hadn't yet even given us the menus. We ordered steaks, but two were stone cold and had to be returned. Also very expensive. Overall very disappointing dining experience. I wonder if Marco Pierre White's team ever audit/check the restaurants bearing his name, since I'm certain they would be horrified.

Food average staff miserable but good value for money

Tasty food. Service was a little slow at times but it was busy. The private dining room felt more like a board room, with the main restaurant seeming like a nicer place to be

Took my Mum here for 3 course meal for Mothers Day was very nice, good service nice restaurant. Price per head was £32.50 which I thought was very fair. The only reason I gave a 4 & not 5 stars were they should scrap the stuffing balls & I thought the roast potatoes could’ve been crisper. Other than that I was very happy and will revisit.

3 of us for dinner and 2 of us ordered 2 versions of the fillet steaks. One well done one medium rare. Chefs plated up wrong steaks. While waiter was apologetic the manager ignored us all night and preferred to only speak to tables with men on it from where I saw anyway. Our wine arrived and they obviously spilled wine outside the glass and hadn't cleaned it up. Took over an hour for our meal to arrive. Think a major overhaul is needed starting with manager

Took my dear Mrs there for the first time as she really wanted to try it but upon arrival we got sat round thd corner by the door as they must of thought we was rif raf . Then olives and bread come then starters come nice eaten all lovely mains didn't arrive until 1 hour later my steak was lovely prawns were dry genral good ish food Charlene's food come red raw sirloin 2nd attempt red raw fillet not good at all hope they treat other people with more respect or it won't be there much longer.

Fantastic. Stayed at the coventry bar and grill. Table was booked for 7:30 however we got there around 7:15 and was able to go straight to our table. Soon as we sat down we got offered bread or/and olives what was a lovely touch. Service was brilliant very pleasant and lovely staff, cocktails was slightly expensive but its what we expected mojito was a 10/10. Our meals of sirloin steak and fillet steak was cooked to perfection and only waited 30mins what we didnt mind at all. The table we was sat at was perfect we sat at a booth themed table absolutely lovely and very comfortable. Didnt have dessert so cannot comment. Overall amazing service, friendly/polite staff, amazing food. Brilliant night, definitely recommend and will be coming again 100%, 10/10🌟

Solid hotel with really nice breakfast

Service was amazing and nothing was too much trouble. That being said it was not my favourite experience. I was not impressed with the sandwiches and found the second pot of tea to be stewed. I opened the pot and found three teabags.

Would highly recommended. The portion sizes are very big and so tasty. Staff are very welcoming and very friendly. Such a lovely place to eat and relax.

My daughter and I ordered afternoon tea. We were greeted ,seated but was ignored pretty much after. We had to ask for our food. Then waited & waited for our tea which no one bothered to serve. So we had to call the waiter. He baught out tea. Then was left again no one came to top up our tea or milk. Beautiful venue, poor customer service.

Not to MPW standard. A glorified Beefeater, no dress code, kids wandering around from the hotel next door, not a patch on the Cube MPW... don't bother !

Second time we’ve eaten here. Sunday roasts were lukewarm… again. Missing apple sauce from roast pork. Just all round pretty basic. Staff being friendly is the only real redeeming feature.

My wife was given a gift of afternoon tea and we decided to visit on 26th March. Upon walking in to the Marco Pierre White restaurant we were eventually greeted my a barman with his head down pulling a pint. He didn't make eye contact and mumbled "be with you in a minute". A few minutes pass and somebody else comes along to the bar and says the same thing..... unbelievably a further two members of staff came over and said the same thing. When the fourth person said this I immediately replied with " you are the fourth person to say this" Her reply was quite flippant and not apologetic. Ordinarily I can overlook bad service, however in this case I was not prepared to. One, because my heavily pregnant wife is being made to stand at the bar area, two this is not Wetherspoons and three, because the place is dead. In total I counted 7 occupied tables and at least 5 members of chaotic staff. The next mission was to find our booking. We had email confirmation however the restaurant could not find the booking. My wife was then made to connect to WIFI to find the booking....it felt like they simply did not believe we had a reservation. Finally after a good 5-10 minutes of stood at the bar we are seated. We were seated in the darkest part of the restaurant close to another couple. I cannot understand why they would not sit people near the window on such a lovely day. When I asked if we could sit somewhere else the reply was " Well I have to set another table if that is the case". I decided not to agree to her setting another table as I was now concerned at how long this would take. Ten minutes pass and somebody comes to take a drinks order. I ordered an espresso, my wife ordered Tea...after all this is supposed to be afternoon tea. A further 10 minutes pass and the 'hot' drinks arrive. I immediately send the espresso back for being stone cold. You could not make this up! A new espresso is delivered 5 minutes later. Twenty minutes passes and another member of staff comes along with a huge pot of tea. I asked why they would bring this and the reply was " this tea is included in the afternoon tea, the one you have just ordered is charged to you". At this point I am about to explode with how crazy this situation is but I have given up. Eventually the food is delivered. Supermarket bread, bland fillings. Very average and happy this was a gift and not something I had to pay for. Looking around the restaurant I was actually shocked to see how dirty and dusty it is. I can imagine a lot of people being disappointed when they visit here. On a positive note, the toilet was spotless. So after a very disappointing experience I am presented with a bill for the espresso and tea (not included in afternoon tea). I paid and ran out of this place as quick as I could....never to return and unfortunately will not try any other Marco Pierre White restaurant as this experience was totally unacceptable. This is the problem with 'celebrity chains'. The high standards they set are not visible and it is merely a name above the door. Any country pub locally would absolutely win against this garbage hands down. I cannot comment on the main menu. Maybe the food is so good you can overlook the service. Somehow I doubt it. All in all I would not recommend this restaurant based on terrible customer service, poor communication, less than acceptable cleanliness and overall just a bad experience.

Came here today for Mother’s Day afternoon tea. The Best Western Plus Manor Hotel is clean with a lovely aroma. However, I feel the staff at MPW could be more attentive. Once we were both seated, the lady asked us if we would like tea or coffee. We got ourselves comfortable and the cake stand arrived before our hot drinks, we waited but no arrival so I had to ask someone and then they brought it over. My mom even asked for a takeaway box the lady said she would bring one over but didn’t so we just ate the rest. Overall, the experience was pleasant. We were even invited to a private Mothers Day event, where we was greeted by lovely people and enjoyed Prosecco with live music so can’t complain ⭐️

Shame - table of four vouchers to spend a christmas present -food was lovely but we waited 40 minutes for starter and another 40 minutes for main course which i dont feel was acceptable we were advised there might be a slight wait due to a large booking but I expected better service than this .
