Pepe's in Solihull

Only recently used this place and can only talk about two things. The grilled chicken and rice box and the service from Aman.....both were incredible! looking forward to getting back there soon.

The quesadilla (hot flavour) was spot on, the chicken in it was tender and cooked perfectly. However, the fries were bland, but with the piri piri mayo, they were nice.

I got food poisoning from this place a few years back. My friend just went to this branch a few days ago and also got food poisoning. Reminded me to leave a review. It put me off Pepe’s totally. I’ve never eaten at another Pepe’s ever again. I was a regular customer. Not worth the risk.

The food would have been nice if it wasn’t stone cold I had to call the shop numerous times when I arrived wax freezing I’m upset cause hit pepes is delious

Popped into Pepes Shirley after a while and was taken back with the new and improved look of the place. Ordered the usual extra hot strips meal and I must say it was cooked to perfection by the grillman Nad. Will be popping back in soon. Keep up the good work

Rip off pepes, would not recommend. They charge more than all the other pepes I’ve been too and charge 50p per sauce 😂😂😂🥴.

Terrible. Ordered food for my mother Got the pitta - no salad no tomatoes barely any sauce - the pitta was squished and broken and cold. How the hell was that £10! Attached photos. It’s a joke they even sent that out!!! Never again. Bunch of pricks, have no standard. That’s what I paid for. Absurd.

Quality is going down the drain on this Pepe’s, ordered a chicken Tasca meal. First the Tasca bread came half empty, only single piece of strip which was rigid 😞. No choice of drinks as they said only have tango or red bull asked the member of staff why so who said he dont know maybe we are boycotting pepsi 😅. It was an eat in order A35

Toliet was disgusting as I had to take my 5 yrs inside, was told I can only get one dip meanwhile other franchises they give 2 dips and then 20p for extra. Place was always short-staffed as person on grill was calling others to serve the till while queue was Piling up.

Food from here is always nice and staff are helpful and friendly. Can be longer waiting times here as opposed to elsewhere but this is because food is cooked fresh. The only issue we ever have here is receiving partially wrong order both by collection and delivery - maybe staff could pay slightly more attention when putting together orders. Minor inconvenience but can be easily avoided.

Extremely disappointed with the customer service. I had to wait over 30 minutes at a fast food restaurant, only to be informed that they had forgotten my order. On top of that, the place was filthy, with uncleaned tables and insects around. Definitely avoid.

the food was very good quality but everything in the order was wrong and its almost always wrong. i ordered extreme and everything was sent as mild. I ordered regular fries and they gave me peri salt ones.

I asked for leg piece chicken and received thigh piece and when it arrived it was cold

I ordered one whole mild chicken with portion of fries. chicken tasted old and had a weird smell as though the chicken was off and to top it off fries was cold! ruined my evening as I had nothing to eat and lost out on £20 worth of food.

FOOD WAS LATE AND COLD ON ARRIVAL. NO UPDATE ON DELIVERY UNTIL I CONTACTED THEM.

Food late made me late for my shift

Beware they use a company that fines £100 for parking outside even for a minute. Spent £100's in there in the past but boycotting from now on principle. Plus other local Piri store also deliver.

Said it would take 15-30 mins but TOOK AN HOUR. Would have appreciated it to just be honest

My colleague at work (Mohammed) ordered 2 meals for collection, the guy who took the order said it was £17 something to him. I went to collect the order & the dude charges me £18.42 instead. I didn't know the price difference until I came back with the food & colleague half the price. He sais maybe it was because I was chinese & not his brother. The food was dry ans so plain, no wonder why they had to give u plenty of sauce to mask the tasteless favour. Was my 1st time eating their food and definitely the last. My work guy said the hit wings were so little as if it was baby chicken wings. The only thing that was big in size were the dried up fries. Next time u go there, make sure u get a proper receipt 🤑 Stop deleting my negative review 🤐

Beautifully cooked and flavoured chicken.

Food has not arrived, although it says ‘enjoy food’. Called restaurant numerous times and couldn’t get through to anyone. It is over nearly two whole hours since the food was requested and we are now having to cook from home. It is late and we have work in the morning. Not very happy as it wasn’t particularly cheap either. Need a refund. Finally got through the restaurant, there was a lot of confusion on there end. We are understanding and respect they are busy. Sorry for this, just being honest

Very slow service - took over 30 minutes for a takeaway burger. Only drink choice was Fanta or water.
