I refuse to ever step inside this shop again. Me and my family went to eat and the food wasn’t cooked, the rice was hard and the chicken was raw and it also wasn’t grilled how it’s supposed to be. They didn’t give us any sauces and charged us money for drink and sauces. The staff wasn’t being respectful and didn’t let us enter the toilet. Never ever going again if I could I would give 0 stars .

My rice box was half filled. I always order from here so abit disappointed i have ended up with half a meal.

I have been a pepe connoisseur for many years now and I have found many mixed experiences in other Pepe's establishments. The Pepe's in Shirley however has given me a calm, composed and consistent experience, which has left me thoroughly impressed with the food on offer. Zeeshan is an outstanding colleague, who was represented the Pepe's brand with exemplary conduct and consistency and is a fantastic role model example of professionalism. His customer service oozes elegance and class similar to when you drive a Mercedes Benz S Class straight from the dealership. Fantastic service. This was not generated through AI, these are my real words.

The chicken was chucked in not even cut up, strips on chicken with rice, bland - some chicken was shredded. The rice to chicken ratio was shocking, hardly any chicken so disappointing

if I could give this pepes 0 stars I would . Worst food / service ever They messed up my order once and when they tried compensating for it the second time THEY STILL RUINED IT . THERE COMPENSATING WAS NOT CHARGING FOR SAUCES AND MAKING YOUR MEAL LARGE .THE CHICKEN BURGER IS MAINLY BUN NO CHICKEN . THE FRIES ARE NOT EVEN COOKED PROPERLY !! How do you mess fries up ?. When you call them they put you on hold for ages and pass you to loads of different people . The guy said to me on the phone specifically it’s £23.00 and when we got there he was £26 . SERIOUSLY SORT IT OUT !

zeshan is a star, my first time coming to pepes and he was very welcoming and ensured that i was looked after as i have allergies. i will be coming again

The restaurant notified Just eat that order was delivered at 4:50pm but it actually arrived at 5:45pm. I even called the restaurant at 5:25pm to check and they said it will be a other 10mins. Restaurants shouldn't be allowed to say delivered on the app in advance, only when actually delivered

The chips were soggy and I always order pepes they are always crunchy and fresh but this time they were soggy as if kept in the bag for long. The delivery was late 20 minutes.. Maybe I won't choose this branch next time.

Shaid service was great. He made sure that the meal was made and served in good time. Overall the stores service and staff was 5 star.

Only recently used this place and can only talk about two things. The grilled chicken and rice box and the service from Aman.....both were incredible! looking forward to getting back there soon.

Nice food. Waited 30 mins for a chicken and rice box and some chips. Staff treat it like a lads club mixed with a Gordon Ramsay style kitchen, shouting and swearing whilst working. Stop shouting “come on lads” and just put the chicken on the grill

A meal of 2 halves, chicken, chicken salad were very good, fries - small portions, even the large, and stone cold, not even slightly warm, will not order again

Rip off pepes, would not recommend. They charge more than all the other pepes I’ve been too and charge 50p per sauce despite what they already charge😂.

Disappointed with the service provided. The server was asleep behind the till, or at least may has well have been. After a painful 5 minute order process repeating ourselves several times for each item, we waited over 30 minutes and they gave our meal to another customer. Instead of coming over and explaining the situation and apologising, the staff essentially laughed along with the group of lads next to us who had eaten our food. The manager was completely dismissive and showed a lack of professionalism by walking away mid conversation and I had to calm him back. Visit the store often but will not return to this branch or the other 2 owned by them. Will stick to the wonderful Kings Heath and Selly oak branches.

The quesadilla (hot flavour) was spot on, the chicken in it was tender and cooked perfectly. However, the fries were bland, but with the piri piri mayo, they were nice.

I got food poisoning from this place a few years back. My friend just went to this branch a few days ago and also got food poisoning. Reminded me to leave a review. It put me off Pepe’s totally. I’ve never eaten at another Pepe’s ever again. I was a regular customer. Not worth the risk.

Popped into Pepes Shirley after a while and was taken back with the new and improved look of the place. Ordered the usual extra hot strips meal and I must say it was cooked to perfection by the grillman Nad. Will be popping back in soon. Keep up the good work

Terrible. Ordered food for my mother Got the pitta - no salad no tomatoes barely any sauce - the pitta was squished and broken and cold. How the hell was that £10! Attached photos. It’s a joke they even sent that out!!! Never again. Bunch of pricks, have no standard. That’s what I paid for. Absurd.

Quality is going down the drain on this Pepe’s, ordered a chicken Tasca meal. First the Tasca bread came half empty, only single piece of strip which was rigid 😞. No choice of drinks as they said only have tango or red bull asked the member of staff why so who said he dont know maybe we are boycotting pepsi 😅. It was an eat in order A35

Toliet was disgusting as I had to take my 5 yrs inside, was told I can only get one dip meanwhile other franchises they give 2 dips and then 20p for extra. Place was always short-staffed as person on grill was calling others to serve the till while queue was Piling up.
