Lovely open, relaxed bar/restaurant. Staff were very friendly. I love the little snug area. Great for kids, they have books to borrow and board games to play

Food good and the atmosphere is great.

I was visiting friends in England and they brought us here. It was a fun, lively place with a good atmosphere. There was no ordering at the table unless you used your device. I had trouble with mine so I ordered at the bar. The food came in reasonable time and was good quality. There were many choices and they were very accommodating to dietary requirements.

forgot my wifes breakfast. limited menu due to problems with gas oven. tiny amount of beans with breakfast. Just a bit disapointing.

I came here as part of a staff Christmas meal! (30th nov) Food was delicious with plenty of variety and was served hot! 🙌 staff were lovley and checked in on us throughout! The place was decorated really cute aswell! Great place. 😊

This is part of a chain all with different names before Lounge. Have to say this one was pretty bland compared to others I have visited.

Really nice relaxed atmosphere at Vivo Lounge, Dorchester- Tapas before the cinema, regular visits with the girls or husband and family. Lots of space, no need to book unless it's a large group, love the mocktails, and there are clean, designated ladies toilets. Also the quirky furniture and decor and friendly staff and the Mezze Salad so please don't take it off the menu!💚💛🧡

A lovely place, me and my friend went there after a day out in Dorchester. They had amazing food and lovely staff. They were very kind to us when we said about allergies, and helped us to get what we wanted!

My husband and I visited this morning after a recommendation on the breakfasts. You did not disappoint! Everything was delicious. We also noticed that all the staff were very happy and looked like they enjoyed their work. Well done!

It's ok. Food is OK. Staff were OK enough. Not overly fast at service. But all in all it was OK..... nothing really to write home about

Terrible food had the butter chicken they ran out of slaw but refused to offer a discount or even substitute it with a salad staff very off and rude well over priced for a piece of chicken & some chips giving it one star for the cider

Vivo Lounga had something for everyone. Their menu is very inclusive and the vegan options are endless. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the deco is very tasteful with some beautiful furniture and interesting pictures adorning the wall. The food itself was superb and quick to arrive. The meat options and the vegan options were equally well prepared and presented. All in all, you MUST have a meal here for a great time!

Staff were amazing and food was very good. It was a birthday celebration 🎂 and because of staff and food it was perfect.

Don't get the hype. The foods pretty good but you certainly pay for that. Service is awfully slow (especially at the bar) and the birramoretti is always flat. Disappointing everytime when it's over £6 a pint....

Great choice of food. Our party of 7 had a variety of dietary requirements which were dealt with very well. No problem with getting a table and the service and ambiance were great.

Had an evening stop here. I went for the halloumi burger which was so good I'd eaten it before thinking to take a photo! The place was clean and tidy, and the staff friendly and welcoming.

Charming semi-basement lounge, with a good range of food and an excellent choice of drinks - good beer and cider, freshly-made coffee. Welcoming, pleasant staff; quick service, bags of atmosphere. Very pleasant place for lunch.

Went for a few drinks to support a local event here and ended up not being served after having a laugh with some friends. The manager, Betsy, didn’t approve of us enjoying ourselves after having a couple of drinks with food! We were wanting to support a venue that we have loved going to for years but have had a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning but Nautico Lounge in Weymouth is always great and all the staff are lovely!

Went for lunch there today. Very very busy but staff were fab. Didn't like the sauce on my pannini and mentioned it when asked. The waitress said, no probs I'll change it. Couldn't believe it. So, thank you Ellie, you were very kind.

Love the decor on the walls gives it a unique feel to the place. The food not really top notch but if you want to sit there and use WIFI while you have a coffee and read a book in a private corner or couch then that is a place to go.

Was visiting my parents for the weekend and we came in here for some drinks and dinner on a Friday night. I was pleasantly surprised! The service was friendly and efficient, the food was really delicious and we all enjoyed it (but watch out if you have the chicken Kyiv burger as it seriously garlicky!) and the cocktails were good. The place was full but didn’t feel cramped as tables are all spaced out really well and (hooray!) the music was at a sociable level so you could chat and still hear each other! Would come again when next visiting.

Wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. Clientèle of all different ages, etc. in on a Monday night, the place felt busy. Service was quick regardless. Various signs up welcoming LGBT, etc. to invite everyone inside. Order using QR code at table. Food was sensational, I've been thinking about how I can recreate the dishes at home since I've left, and ultimately come to the conclusion that the chef's skills are far beyond my own. Price very good, with the meal and drink deal me and colleague paid less than £35 total to eat and drink.

They organised an event of decorating pancakes that lasted 3 hours (3-6pm) but ran out of pancakes in 30 minutes, we were there at 3.30 and they didn't serve us. Disgraceful event and service, not coming back again.

Have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. The food is always excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great selection of food - even if there are dietary requirements such as vegan or gluten free there is still a great choice of dishes, alternate milks etc. Very welcoming and accommodating. Will continue to visit!

Looking forward to having a meal and drinks.They had No processcco,NO savingour blanc,three lagers out of stock!!!! Then the food,NO steaks,no veggie dish 😔 You felt like asking what have they got? Staff were nice but not embarrassed about the lack of food or drinks available. Apparently they had a busy night before? Is it just me astonished by the lack of pride and organization skills needed to keep on top of things or am I expecting too much?You decide.

Wide choice of tapas. I ordered three because they were on offer but they were plentiful and I couldn't finish them. The area is beautiful especially in the evening.

We always come here for lunch when we visit Dorchester. Yesterday we spent vouchers we had received for birthday /Christmas. I had the lounge burger and my husband had the breakfast, love the chilled and friendly atmosphere. And the best bit? They're opening a Lounge in Yeovil! !!! But we'll keep going to the one in Dorchester as I've discovered a fabulous wool shop, Fudge.

My sister and I had dinner here and we were so looked after by the team! I have coeliac, and Paul on the bar made sure everything I ordered was gluten free and safe for me to eat. The food was delicious too! Highly recommend especially if you have allergies or are gluten free.

Fish finger sandwich a bit of a letdown. For nearly £10 I would expect better bread and not just thin square catering bread. Maybe some crisps on the side too. Just felt like they were cutting corners.

OK people! If you aren't eating here... what on earth are you doing with your life? The chefs are like magicians with food and the staff are like your best friends! Incredible place and I would recommend it to anything and everyone! You are all incredible! If I knew all your names, I would mention you all but I did pass on my thanks to the chefs whilst in. You know its good when my husband wants the same again for pudding! Tell everyone! This is the place to eat!!!!!

have eaten here a bunch of times but especially one time with my friend who is gluten intolerant. lots of options of food and drinks. very very happy with all of the waiters and chefs. all really friendly and go out their way to show you a good time. Gabe, very friendly and Niall too. got the food out on time and got everything sorted within reason:)

Had one of the best breakfast ever. Food cooked fresh, friendly staff. Would differently come back here again 10/10 Barvo to the chief.

I ordered the lamb & lentil soup which was unbelievably salty. People on a nearby table had two dogs with them, one of which was on the lap of the owner with its front two paws on the table. Waiter was aware but did nothing. Other dog kept barking which was very irritating. Will not be returning & don't recommend.

Two of us ordered a breakfast/brunch that was poached eggs on a spicy pepper and tomato Ragu with spinach, crispy chick peas and greek yoghurt. The dish arrived but didn't contain the crispy chick peas or the greek yogurt. I mentioned it to the waitress who said the chick peas were in the dish but they certainly weren't. She did however fetch us both a pot of greek yogurt. The dish was tasty but disappointingly lacking some elements.

Not nice. I chose the "Korean Fried Chicken Burger". Well, nothing Korean about what I got. A (very) greasy bun with a tiny piece of dry chicken that smelt of old oil. Taste was predominately of salt and texture was of greasy bun with a ladle of mayonnaise. Won't be back. Annoyingly, noticed the Nando's next door just after I left.

Probably the best meal we had on our 5 day break in Doset. The meals were very reasonably priced. My wife has to have wheat free diet, the staff were extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the menu. We had the 3 small plates (times two); the differing tastes and flavours were excellent. It's a pity we live over 2 and a half hours away.

The beer choice has improved over time, and my wife really likes the cocktails. Unfortunately the last visit the beer choice was worse again. Only one ale, yet 4 types of lager 🤦

This chain of eateries suits me nicely. Good food at honest prices, good atmosphere too.

Went expecting to sit outside as we had the dogs and was just on the off chance , more than welcoming and greated with dog treats , our food was great and not a long wait

The food I had was fine (chips cold tho). Queue for drinks (only one person serving). Prebooked Inc food but kitchen weren't told we'd arrived. All food late therefore, but some orders took unbelievable 1.5+ hours to arrive (small child could not cope that long). One defensive staff member. Nice private room. Pre booking over internet complicated and pointless unless it saves time and increases efficiency. A shame, but won't be returning as think the local pubs much better bet.

Food was really nice well cooked and tasty, we had a small problem with our deserts and when questioned the lad with a ponytail/bob he was very rude, got manager involved who gave us our money back. We go here most weeks to eat, will not be back until that person of the staff has moved on, he really does bring the quality of service down.

Rude and inconsiderate staff at the Dorchester venue. Doesn’t seem to be any experience on site, just young people with an attitude problem.

Good mix of foods, reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. You'll not be taken on a culinary adventure there, but it works for an easy brunch/lunch with friends.

The Vivo lounge is the first place we go to when visiting Dorchester. The place has a really relaxed chilled out vibe. Great for all different age groups, families, couples, singles. Really welcoming, engaging staff and fantastic menu. The Miami brunch and bang bang chicken just bursting with flavour. If your in Dorchester it really is worth a visit.

Great atmosphere on Friday night. Very chilled place with great service. I had the cheeseburger and it was really good. I would highly recommend. I also ordered a banana milkshake which was not so great unfortunately. It wasn't cold and barely tasted of banana, so was just room temperature milk. BUT other than that small disappointment I had a lovely time and really enjoyed the food. I will be back again.

We had a fantastic time at Vivo Lounge, it was my wife's birthday and the staff were very accomodating and couldn't do enough for us. In particular, Montserrat was great and brought us out the cake and put a lot of effort into making our special occasion really great. Thank you to all your wonderful staff.

Well done staff at The Vivo Lounge. They catered really well for our group of 18 all having 3 choices of Tapas on Tuesday evening. Good food and great service. A fun evening.

Staff were friendly. Was the best burger I've had since I left Kent 5 years ago. I will admit to not being the biggest meat eater. But I know where I'm going for my next fix.

Sausage and bacon only cooked on one side missing mushrooms disappointing experience. The food used to be a lot better quality there was nothing special about anything now all tasted a bit cheap.
