Popped in for a drink, they were ridiculously overpriced and 2 out of 4 cups split due to poor quality. The server was vile to us scorning us for the split (which wasn’t our fault) told my 3 year old son he would make him another and then argued with us after we had awkwardly waited for over half an our. This place should be shut down.

My experience was good, by the photos I took you can see that it is a busy place, so I don’t think that food would “sit “ there for hours, in my opinion food quality wasn’t, as bad as a lot of reviews here say. And it’s one of the few Chinese food places which serves “halal” food for Muslims. I’m glad I found this buffet and hope I will be a regular customer.

The worst meal we've had in a very long time. Almost inedible. Food had clearly been sitting around for hours and was barely warm. Meat was dry, rice was crunchy, hygiene was worrying, the waiter bought out a fresh tray of beef and mixed if in with the old beef. The kitchen was right behind us and water was leaking across the floor whilst we were eating, mold all over the blinds and windows covered in condensation. We will not be returning!

We ordered a takeaway from this place and it was vile. Un- Eadable. And 3 out of 5 of us where sick. I've never tasted such awful Chinese until that evening. Plus becareful when you click on there website link via Google as it leads to a virus.

Just don’t … I won’t bother going into it from beginning to end Seeing rice being refilled from a red dirty washing up bowl and then as the guy walked past clearing a full table putting it all in THAT bowl !!! I pushed my plate away and left The toilets though …. Next door to the kitchen and I’ve seriously seen and smelt old dirty carpark stairwells in better condition I worried for 48 hours I was going to witness my lunch retuning. How it’s opened I don’t know.

Food was disgusting, the noodles were bland and dry, my chicken wings were raw, I paid £9 for 3 spoonfuls of rice as that was the only edible thing on my plate, which was also hard and dry.

We paid £36 on entry for 3 buffets, a can of Diet Coke, a Yazoo milkshake & a bottle of Budweiser. The food & drinks seemed reasonably priced at £9 for an adult buffet. Unfortunately the food was totally inedible. The chicken was hard & overcooked, the beef fatty, the noodles dry & flavourless and the rice was dry & clumpy. Even the chips were undercooked. I avoided the prawns for the good of my own health. The only edible thing on offer were prawn crackers - which were just this side of stale. On our departure the person behind the toll apologised - I’m not sure if it was for the state of the food, or for the screaming children who were seated behind us. Avoid.

I cant even give this one star rating. God only knows what's in those washing up bowls they bring the food out in. I only hope people read these reviews first because they certainly aren't lying.

Went there this afternoon, food looks fabulous, through the window, however it was cold and tasteless had to spit some out into a napkin would never go there again only had 3 mouthfuls and left so try the Thai restaurant a few doors down it’s much better.

Kicking myself as I always look at trip advisor before eating anywhere! So you pay upfront, before you see the food. Not much of a selection, and the food that was out, the meat was tough as old boots, no egg rice. Saw them topping up the sweet and sour dish with this red runny liquid from a washing up bowl! Avoid!! You would think this was good bearing in mind where the restaurant is situated.

It's simple food, no fancy, but cheap and honest. The guy at the door stays out in the cold trying to call the attention of people who are passing by. He is very polite and that is a massive plus, since in those cheap Chinese buffet restaurants staff tend to be rude and 'unsmiley" but not that guy. It made us feel welcome and that was the mais reason we chose him and not the other similar one down the road.

i often come here with my parents for a take away, the service is always quick and incredibly professional and polite. The place is very clean and the food is absolutely lovely, it is great value for money and the food is always kept warm and wrapped up. If you haven't visited yet then what are you doing go there now!

Rush decision to go in for food in window looked good picked up few items from buffet took one bite and stood up told my family to leave totally disgusting I eat out two or three times a week never came across anything like it

Please avoid this place at all costs. We visited tonight and barely managed to finish a plate and a half of food between us. The food was absolutely disgusting, the chicken was bone dry and everything was flavourless. The toilets are located downstairs in the staff area, the ladies was our of order and the only available toilet was filthy. Staff only smiled to get you in the door, after that you were left entirely to your own devices with not so much as an 'enjoy your food'. There were flies around the tables too. I'm honestly not sure how this place is still operating, and wish we'd read the reviews before visiting - no wonder it was empty when we arrived on a busy Friday night!

The male owner was great at luring us in with his sales pitch. More fool me I never normally fall for this. Buffet all you can eat is not real Chinese food it’s a disgrace! Extremely dry absolutely tasteless. Total embarrassment to the area. Charged an additional 2 pounds per can of Coke!! Rip off. His wife was only happy and friendly at the point of paying as you pay before eating when leaving she could barely lift her head to acknowledge. I now see that paying before eating is to lock you in so you don’t feel like you can change your mind as i most definitely would have walked straight out having viewed the mess up close! Sweet and sour chicken was Bright pink. Absolutely regret dining there for lunch today. Money for nothing total waste they have 0 humiliation serving this crap. Not for for Consumption. Noodles literally boiled noodles in a tray no seasoning nothing! The soups are like thick glutinous bowls of nothing with a few strands of carrot or a disgusting looking sweet corn thick tasteless mush! Chicken, pork beef dryer than the Gobi desert. Chewing each piece for a good few mins before spitting it out. Humiliation being right in front of the castle on the high street. AVOID at all costs! Absolutely ruined a lovely family day in windsor. As frequent visitors I won’t ever be fooled again.

The food was cold, no atmosphere and the toilet was not nice. They also wanted cash only. The only good thing was that there was ketchup.

terrible costumer service, the manager or whoever he was shouted at us in front of an audience because we told him we got raw chicken, he kicked us out which is fine because i’d never go there again

This place is awful- bought some very overpriced bubble tea and had to throw it in the bin because it was that bad (and I’m not the pickiest eater/drinker- can’t remember the last time I didn’t finish my food/drink). Do not recommend at all.

Whilst the portion was generous, all of the prawns had the poop shoots in which made me feel sick. I tried to take them out but they were so cooked that they were thick and mushy - not a nice experience.

Really good for the price, The prawn was amazing and noodles aswell, and the staff were very friendly and nice! Definitely recommend!

Just had my takeaway dinner from their buffet (limited due to the pandemic) and it was a lovely surprise! Between me and my husband we tried all their chicken, beef and (incredible!) prawns and we were very positively surprised with the quality of their dishes....

Such good value for money, lots of variety & the owner is very friendly & helpful. Drinks are also reasonable. Food was lovely and in abundance (especially king prawns!) will be returning soon.

As a party of 4 we called in here as we were passing. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Covid regulations were followed. All dishes were tasty and plentiful Really good value for money.

I can’t even consider giving this place a one star review it was so bad!!! Don’t get fooled by the food in the display it was revolting, not fit enough for consumption, oily, tasteless and bland .... waste of money.

Poorest selection of food not fresh although they did make us a fresh curry as therefore was non available.I did have to ask as you can't eat plain rice on its own. The prawn crackers were the only other item I could eat.Apart from that the rest of the offering was very average.Could improve if they wanted to but guess they don't want too.

Mucho mejor que otro buffet de comida china barata, tenían variedades para elegir, incluyendo carne de res, cerdo, pollo, langostinos, muchos bocadillos, todo sabroso y bueno. El personal era amable y educado, teníamos una buena mesa y, para ser sincero, disfruté. Aunque no es una maravilla clásica china, es una buena opción por un buen precio.

My husband ate a takeaway box of numerous items from the buffet at this restaurant and within a few hours was violently ill with food poisoning - I have honestly never seen someone so poorly!!! DO NOT GO HERE! Reported to food standards agency.

The food was great and piping hot. Nice and small place. The kids loved the food and gave it a 10/10. From the curly hair boy. He cant wait to visit again when we are in Windsor. Thanks again

No creo que alguna vez haya revisado un restaurante u otro listado de TA como 'horrible', pero realmente fue así.Al hospedarnos en Windsor, nos encontramos con Viva y nos apetecía una buena comida china. El buffet era una oferta extremadamente pobre, empeorada por el personal que, obviamente, limpiaba y limpiaba a nuestro alrededor. Sin manteles y sin finura alguna.La comida era horrible. Observé las ofrendas y decidí no comer, pero las otras 2 personas de mi grupo lo hicieron.Hay muchas opciones alternativas en Windsor y recomendaría a los propietarios que revisen sus ofertas de comida y los alrededores en los que sirven.No volvería y no podría recomendar el restaurante a otros.

Hmm what can I say? Limited choice of Buffett mainly chicken dishes and served on polystyrene plates.Was seated in middle of restaurant on wooden table while at the back looked better tables with tablecloths but no one sitting there.Toilet was by the kitchen with a plastic toilet seat which was flaking. Definitely won't be in a rush to go back.

Asked if MSG was used in meals--- told yes but would cook me special MSG free buffet selection--- was absolutely delicious, piping hot and very tasty. I cannot eat MSG as it effects myheart so crucial I d ask before eating. This restaurant were only too pleased to help me enjoy a chinese buffet. will go back when in Windsor next time
