A wonderful little shop with all types of vintage items and a comfy spot to have tea coffee or hit chocolate. Good cakes too. Thoroughly recommend

On a recent trip to Portland we got off the buss close to Vintage7. We stumbled across this shop, thinking initially that it was just a clothes shop, but to our surprise they also sold drinks and snacks. The shop was decorated with various vintage items for sale including clothes and trinkets and also played lovely music. We had two hot chocolates and a latte which all came in warm glasses meaning the drinks lasted longer which was such a lovely touch. My husband commented on on hot chocolate saying it’s the best one he has had in a long time. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

I visited Vintage7 in May and was stunned by it. I love 50s rock'n'roll dresses and would wear them every day if I could. There was so much selection to choose from and the lady running the shop was so helpful! She helped me find dresses that suited me and matched the style I was looking for. It was all so affordable as well. Ended up buying 2 dresses and they definitely won't be my last purchase from this shop! I'm looking forward to coming back!

We first came across Vintage 7 whilst out walking and looking for a tourist map. Two lovely ladies sitting outside chatted to us and then the owner came along and handed us a map. The ladies recommended that we come back for something to eat, which we did and were pleased that we took their advise. We had toasted sandwiches made with lovely bread and stuffed full of filling, garnished with a side salad and crisps. It was certainly a filling lunch time meal. We also took away two pieces of very nice cake to have that evening.

This great cafe and vintage shop didn’t come up when I did a search for vintage shops on Portland, so was a fantastic surprise when we found it! The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming and it seems to be a hub for some of the locals, who all chatted to us and made us feel like part of the family!

My partner and I visited this lovely café/shop whilst staying in Southwell, just down the road. We received a very warm welcome from the owner (& Tilly, the Border Terrier). The coffee was excellent & (carrot) cake delicious. Our whippet enjoyed his dog biscuit offered by the owner. Vintage 7 has a lovely atmosphere and a very interesting array of items inside. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Portland!

Noticed Vintage 7 on way to a meeting and made the decision to call in afterwards. Great coffee and cake in a delightful retro setting.. The coffee is as good as any top coffee shop.

We discovered this café whilst detouring from our coastal walk and looking for a bite to eat. Coffees were great, and we can recommend both the carrot cake and the coffee & walnut cake... delicious! We were served by very friendly people, who made us feel very welcome and we will be sure to call again when we next visit Portland.

Popped in for a cuppa, our first visit. Loved the retro, shabby chic decor. We received a warm welcome, especially from the gorgeous Tilly. Lovely relaxing atmosphere, there was really nice music playing, you could hear it and were still were able to talk at a normal volume which you can't do in some establishments. We had a delicious hot chocolate which was bought over to our table. Lovely atmosphere, lovely service. Will definitely visit this little gem more often.

Enjoying a walk around Portland's coastal paths came across this lovely cafe for lunch. The service was friendly and our jacket potato and salads were excellent. This cafe truly goes the extra mile on all fronts and will definitely visit again. Also dog friendly so that's another big plus.

Being local and this being a relatively new establishment I thought I’d call in for a latte. You order at the counter and they bring it across to your table (either inside or out). Service was excellent and very friendly. Looking at the menu there was a wide variety to suit every taste for lunch or afternoon tea. I made a new friend of Tilly the resident dog who left her basket to greet each customer and then promptly returned in a most well behaved fashion. Many articles on display are things I remember from my childhood making it seem cosy. My next visit will be for lunch and I’ll be telling all my friends and relations to try Vintage 7 for themselves.

I'm so glad I looked this place up because it's the sort of place I love but I'd have dismissed it because of where it is in a bland looking unit on a business estate. Plenty of parking here, outdoor seating, a mezzanine and takeaways. We ate in - delicious cheese scone (to remember my Mum by), roasted veg pasty, Baboo ice-cream, and the tastiest decaf mocha I've had in a long term - maybe ever. All for around £20. Loved it.

Had lunch here, lovely place great service, although should have ordered something else that was value for money. Paying £8 for scrambled egg and advacardo, money was not the issue. But would of been nice to have abetter portion of advacardo. Not just spread on a piece if toast like thin spread of butter.

Probably one of the best authentic pizza we have had in UK. Fab lady serving, very profesional, polite and helpful. Clean and tidy restaurant. Small and cosy. And the FOOD IS AMAZING. we had pasta dishes and pizza. Also puddings...... yummy! Cheescake, Torte, profiteroles.... delicious and fresh. All beautifully presented too. We were lucky with the table (5) as it got busy while we were dining. Loved everything. Thanks !!!! If we're back in Weymouth again won't hesitate to come again.
