Village Inn in South Lanarkshire

Started going her a few months ago it's a great quiet pub and staff are nice too, good if you just want a quiet pint

Always a good night at the Village Inn. Live music on at the weekends and a good pint to be had.

I went here for a birthday party in the function room brilliant staff but couldn’t see any lifts or chairs to get into the club that’s my only thing I have to say

Absolutely first class service. Catered for myself and family being vegan. Staff were so nice and accommodating. Would recommend.

The staff are really nice, the drinks are very reasonable, and it’s probably the best spot for live music in East Kilbride; they book really good acts and I have been reliably informed that bands really like the venue.

Good few drinks here after dinner out. It was a nice end to the evening. Fab staff

Pints are way too expensive in this old fashioned pub. No atmosphere at all as its way too quiet, which is really sad. Get the punters in by lowering your prices to a fair level (and to your local competition like the Montgomery) and warm the place up a bit. Things then may change.

Busy at weekends, handy position in East Kilbride village.

Great venue for live music but when it is happening downstairs and the band are popular then it becomes too claustrophobic

Good sized venue although it was pretty busy when I visited and couldn't get a seat.

Village inn is a very busy ,popular bar with live music every weekend. There is a 1st floor function suite good for any occasion. Staff are friendly and helpful. The venue is a short walk from the centre bus station.😏

Not been in years, pleasantly surprised, will possibly come more often, pleasant atmosphere.

Paul Jardine has turned this pub around . We had been saying for years that EK needed live music and the Village Inn is now the best venue in town for it . Get yourselves along on a Friday or Saturday for some great live bands from all over .

Went on a Sunday afternoon and there was a live band on. Wow! It was amazing! Pub was jumping with people enjoying the entertainment. The bar staff worked well under pressure - always with a smile and nothing was too much bother. There is a fantastic atmosphere in here - friendly and welcoming. Definitely be back.

Stayed overnight in a comfy wee room. Meals in the restaurant were nice. Fantastic selection of ales in the bar. Will happily come back.

I don't no how anyone could say a bad review about the staff in chemist they have always helped me with any enquiries that I have had they are always there when I need them and I thank all of the staff for there kindness

Dropped in today for a quick pint, pubs looking good after it's renovation. Drinks at reasonable prices and Michael as friendly as ever.

Local, friendly and good live music

Excellent service last night, brought our drinks to the table. Never been to to Village before and I was very impressed. We were going to the theatre to see the Diva's with May and Robert Miller and other singers. Would like to thank the barman for his generous help. I will visit this pub again.

I had a brilliant night last night. The Full Hog are an amazing rock band. A great atmosphere and bar service was exceptional.

Great music bar that is well organised with Covid rules regarding signing in and wearing a mask while approaching the bar. I was pleased to see my favourite sing malt Laphroaig on the gantry.
