I ordered Mediterranean chicken and chips and underneath the chips was batter, not just a little either. Not sure as to why there was an extreme amount of batter underneath the chips and considering a large portion was ordered I did not expect all batter underneath the food I had ordered. It was not very nice at all.

I've been coming here for years. Usually the food it good. But there has been times where it's been disappointing. Chips tasting different and fish over cooked. Today I had to walk out because of one of them standing, chatting, bitting her nails constantly. She then done an order for someone straight after. Really put me off, so I walked out. Which I have never done.

Food was great but yet again delivery time just kept going back. Tried to call but no one answered. Driver was there for 20 mins while they prepared food apparently.

What can I say vist this shop on a regular basis, the food used to be great quality and fresh, but not on this occasion. Brought take away for a family of fourcosting £34:00 and this is what my daughter was give for kebab meat and salad, large chunky pieces of meat extremely dry costing almost £6:00 not fit for consumption not even by the dog, staff member shouldn't even be giving this to customers only fit for the bin.

Our food was stone cold….. my pitta bread was soggy, the meat seemed barely cooked and cold. The salad was soft and not fresh at all. The cod was all batter and very small fish. All was cold and extremely unpleasant on arrival. I have photos of the food and that it was too nasty to eat!

food arrived an hour late and was cold , was not what I ordered at all , I ordered large kebab meat chips and salad with yoghurt and mint sauce. I got small kebab meat and chips with bbq sauce on. phoned lea village to discuss and not their fault apparently. will never order from there again

Usually love the food from here but unfortunately the food was barely like warm today.

I have been going to this chippy for 15 years since school days. The food used to be amazing. There was a time i was eating here every day or every other day, but they never cook the chips long enough anymore that's when i stopped going. They ask for £6 odd for fish and chips that are half cooked. The fish was disgusting on my last visit, the chips were yellow and undercooked, this place used to get awards for their food. Me and the whole family have stopped eating here.

first time ordering from here and really fancied fish and chips tonight. I wasn't disappointed. Decent size for the small fish and chips, enough for me. The chips and the fish was so tasty and so hot.

My favourite chippy. Always tasty however there is something missing from my order every single time. Never the big stuff. Cans of pop one week, scallop the next. Not sure what their deal is. Is it lack of attention or stacking up?

First time ordering from here. FINALLY a chippy that does regular old fashioned fish and chips. In taste and looks. Food was hot and fresh and so, so tasty. Will definitely be using again.

Don’t waste your money here!! Fish was hard, not crispy, HARD!! Overcooked and clearly stale and old. Chips much the same. Mushy peas barely warm. Very poor quality. Owners should be ashamed to send out such disgusting food

Have been going here for many years ,can honestly say the food is really nice .The shop is spotless and the staff are lovely and work really hard. my favourite is the mixed kabab and chips if you go for the large you get plenty and l often share with a family member ,

Great food, looked like it was from a pub/restaurant and the taste matched. Great chips, gravy was perfect, fish tasty, fish cakes were good. Great burger

As usual, food was great. Best chippy around. But yet again, for the 3rd time, the drinks were left off the order. Im not sure why this keeps happening but it's adding up to quite a bit

Excellent quality food, fresh and tasty

1 scoop of chips, small portion of paper thin doner meat in a box £5.50, such a small amount I made some bread and butter. 2 small scoops of chips, very thin slice of tinned roe £5.40, again we made bread and butter. Absolute Jokers needless to say we will not be giving them free money again.

Best chippy around hands down. Food is always fresh and tasty and they're very generous with the portions.

You know, I was skeptical of the pricing at first, given that the chippy is a traditionally cheaper option. Regardless of this initial doubt, I was pleasantly surprised with both the food, and the speed of delivery. I am not joking when I say that the quality of this chippy is exceptional, and I will be ordering from here in future. Keep up the awesome work, guys!

Requested mixed meat on the kebab meat as when I go into the shop it’s offered, so requested it on notes which was ignored. Missing chilli sauce on chicken tikka and food was freezing.

The pasty wasn’t the best and the chips wasn’t at there usual best… maybe just a bad day… it’s very rare I have a unsatisfied meal from here I didn’t receive my can of pop either…

The battered mushrooms wasn’t the best could have been better.

We've ordered a few times now and have not been disappointed. The mini fish & chips is great value for money! I have to say, the pies are so nostalgic and are what we love to eat, reminds us of chippy old days not changing the pies to suit. Really enjoyed everything including the saveloy and scallop too! Must say, great portion of chips.

The food itself is amazingly good however the size portions of fish can be quite small and extremely expensive. Other than that, the food is amazing. The service was also really good compared to other Fish and Chip shops. The atmosphere is quite bland but it's not bad.

Rang mobile phone and wanted me to come to car. I said no bring to house and next time ring doorbell. I'm disabled.

Half the chips were either burnt or hard. There was the tiniest amount of sauce that was mostly smeared on the top of the box, the actual food didn’t have hardly any on it. There was no salad at all even though all salad was requested. Just a really disappointing dinner tbh.
