Villa Natura in East Riding of Yorkshire

Went out with friends to celebrate 🍾 birthday 🎂. Venue was excellent, clean and comfortable. Music not to loud. Toilets very clean and tidy. Food was superb. Coffee was top notch 👍🏻. I am not easily impressed, I will recommend Villa Natura to family and friends.

What a gem of a place, fantastic food and relaxing atmosphere nothing is too much trouble, Kim the manageress makes you feel like you've just popped around to friends for lunch. We travel half an hour to get to this place, my wife is a vegetarian and I am not and we know we both have plenty of choice from the menu. The food is better than we have had in some supposed London top hotels, and it bext value for mo ey we've found in a long time, the side salad you get with a sandwich is plenty.

Brilliant local cafe with the loveliest staff. Food is amazing and I love going here for a coffee and a spot of lunch.

Not sure whether this place has been taken over as the menu seemed to be slightly different from last time I visited quite a while ago. As there was no porridge I opted for a cooked breakfast. I can honestly say it was the worst breakfast I have ever eaten. Where do I start? The bacon was rock hard, the fried eggs overcooked, sausages undercooked, mushrooms looked tinned but the worst thing was the tinned tomatoes which hadn't been drained. The whole plate was swimming in tomato juice which put me off immediately. Judging by other reviews I may have chosen the wrong dish or perhaps they were having an "off" day. Whichever it was, I won't be back.

We’d just like to update tripadvisor about this wonderful cafe that we still come to almost every day for their wonderful Safi Coffee and snacks. We continue to make new friends here, and every member of staff continues to be a friend. We marvel at the care they give to every single customer and long may it last. Whether you want a snack or maybe just a coffee, I’d guarantee you’ll leave as a friend, and you’ll certainly be looked after very well. The Villa Natura cafe staff have looked after us so very well - but equally as important, the food they serve is wonderful, including their own home-baked scones, bread, soup, cakes etc. Thank you so much.

This is the 3rd time I’ve been in with my mother in law but sadly she can’t remember. It’s a really friendly place and the food is just a little bit different to most cafés and all the better for it. We usually have a drink and cake but we had a chicken sandwich today. Lots of proper chicken and they were happy to adapt the sandwich to suit my M in Law. The coffee really is something special and the tea was in a proper tea pot with a pretty china cup and saucer. Highly recommended.

The coffee (machiato) was just perfect. The staff are always so friendly. It's a lovely coffee shop. I am their postie and they always offer me a free coffee! So kind, thank you! I 100% recommend this place for a friendly relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely have to try the food too (as a paying customer 😄) as looks amazing.

Popt across for lunch today from hedon we have had the same meal each time brusheta and mozzarella for my wife and I had the chicken and mustard dressing salad both absolutely superb very fresh produce very tasty very well presented and excellent friendly service

Always delicious food freshly prepared so bit of wait but time to chat and worth it. The scones are the best I have ever tasted. Not as many desserts but amazing so happy to have again and again. Staff are lovely. Highly recommend.

Just had a lovely full English breakfast. The sausages were from the local butcher and poached eggs perfectly cooked. Always great coffee and Kim let us order before the cafe was due to open. Brilliant customer service.

Stopped here for lunch when in the area for business and can't recommend highly enough. Staff were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had sandwiches / salads and all was very fresh and tasty. Highly recommend a visit.

Awful lunch, food was nearly inedible. Rude lady, only brought half my frIends lunch, when asked where rest was, they had for gotten to cook it! . Don't waste your money.

Nice coffee. Nice surroundings. Small cafe, only 4 tables. Friendly staff. Let down by service. Got our drinks order and didn't come back to get our food order, we needed few mins to choose. I had to go up and ask him to come over. 3 cakes, one hot meal. We had hot drinks and waited till meal came out before being our cake. By that time coffee was cold (it wasn't hot anyway) and was already finished. Didn't try anything else off menu but it all looked very nice indeed. Best goto the black cat. Much nicer and better service.

We were both really hungry and were searching for somewhere nice to eat. Thankfully we stumbled on to this hidden gem. The food was fantastic: healthy, clearly fresh ingredients, very tasty and great value for money. Kim and Grant were extremely welcoming and made us feel at home straight away. My favourite thing had to be the 'executive' salad. Who knew salad could taste so good. All I can say is thanks for being such great hosts guys and recommend that everyone pays them a visit!!

Excellent coffee and comfy sofa. Above all, fresh scones, clotted cream and jam. Teacakes lovely but very small, less than half size of usual.

We enjoyed a couple of sandwiches with side salad from this little gem yesterday and the food was so delicious! Fresh, healthy and some great roasted peppers and pickles On the salads! The coffee was also great, nice and strong with some amazing looking desserts...

On a cycle ride to Humber Bridge from Hull I stopped off on a whim for lunch ...I have to say the sandwich and salad were a revelation..Best sandwich I can remember eating although I struggled to finish it all....

Stopped here for coffee on a cycle ride. Lovely, friendly staff, good coffee and the very best scones I have had in a long time - crusty on the outside, soft and fresh inside and served with real clotted cream! What more could you ask?...

Popped in today for a post lockdown lunch. The staff were very welcoming and clearly passionate about the cafe and serving great tasting food! The goats cheese bruschetta was delicious. Thank you for such brilliant service.

Called in for coffee today and were pleasantly surprised. Friendly service, great coffee and toast and right on the high street. Definitely worth a visit if you like great coffee in informal surroundings. Well done guys.

Visited for the first time today, a lovely friendly atmosphere. I ordered a sandwich and a coffee. The sandwich was beautifully served with a lovely side salad ..absolutely delicious. A great independent cafe, will definitely come again.

First visit today. I had eggs on toast and my wife had cheese sandwich with red onion. We both had flat white coffees. The bread was beautiful. It is homemade!! We prefer independent places and we will certainly be back.

What a great little coffee shop this is.The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming.Very cosy with comfy chairs and settees.A range of very interesting sandwiches and extremely good coffee.When I visited I was having to be careful of my potassium intake due to impending surgery,and therefore had tea,served in proper china pot and cups and saucers.I mentioned to the lady serving us that I could only have chicory coffee,and within a couple of minutes she came up with a jar.She offered to make me one and it was very good.Such a surprise to find a coffee house that can supply it!!!Brilliant service.Nice flapjack too!!!Will now make this our regular coffee stop whenever we are in Hessle.Great job all round.

Fantastic service, great foods.The staff really make you feel welcome.The coffee is some of the best I have had in years, specially sourced.The food is all home made and the bread is baked on the premises.Its all reasonably priced which is fantastic considering he great quality of ingredients used.

Visited this little cafe during my lunch break and left very happy! I ordered some coffee + the tomato, mozzarella, pesto, and balsamic bruschetta which came with a fresh side salad - the whole thing was beautifully presented, genuinely delicious to eat and reasonably priced! I managed to get some work done as there was free wifi and the cafe is a calm yet bright and stimulating environment to be in. The staff were really kind and helpful and just a pleasure to be around, often chatting to the locals who visit the cafe regularly. I also witnessed a deafened/hard of hearing gentleman who came in to buy coffee and the lady who works here seemed to do a brilliant job at patiently communicating with him through gestures and actions, it was lovely to see. Will be coming here again.

Have visited this coffee shop on many occasions. The owner Yaro and also Grant make it a lovely place to go for lunch, coffee,homemade cakes etc. The food is all homemade. Yaro makes lovely sourdough bread. Grant makes the gorgeous scones served with jam and clotted cream. My husband and I love the fun and friendly atmosphere. Always greeted with a big smile. Good location in Prestongate.

Popped in today in an effort to support a local coffee shop rather than the chain coffee shop in the square. So very pleased we did. Appears to be a family run business, (though we didn't ask to confirm) by a lovely couple plus another staff member. Everyone was polite and friendly, we immediately felt at home here.We had drinks, sandwiches and cake - all of which was presented beautifully and tasted great. The salad was fresh and crisp and I believe the cakes on offer are all home made. The menu offered a great deal of choice and was very reasonably priced. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone we spoke to was friendly and accommodating. A real gem to find this on our doorstep we wills definitely become regulars here.
