This restaurant is really amazing and the food as well. Is our second time returning here. The service is really good.

Food in here's quality service is too staff really friendly very popular place aswell not far to walk afterwards for taxis or buses

Nephew took us here when visiting Belfast. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, I had mushrooms as a starter and Calabrese pizza. Great service, and friendly atmosphere. Very busy for a Sunday night so would recommend booking

Haven't been here in quite a few years but everything was more or less as it was the last time I visited. Not sure if this is a good or a bad thing. I had meatballs as a starter and the stuffed chicken breast for my main. Other members of my group had the brushetta starter, carbonara, picantè pizza and lasagne as their mains. We paid slightly over £25 per person so our meal was good value. We were all satisfied but I'm not sure we'll be back again soon.

Not a frequent visitor to Belfast but when someone at the table remarks that it's the best pizza they have had in 4 years. That says a lot. Great food, friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere. Will be back for sure

We picked Villa Italia as the venue for my friend's hen do dinner and it did not disappoint! We were able to decorate the table before the restaurant opened so it was ready when we got there with the bride, and the staff were so attentive and polite. A big shout out to Halla! Halla was so wonderful to our group the whole night, she made sure everyone always had a drink and when the mains came out she knew exactly who had ordered what and got it served to the right person quickly and systematically (there was 12 of us so a large group). She also made sure we had all the dips and dressings to compliment our food and she was just so professional! I had to get an allergy check on the profiteroles as they were coated in nuts and another staff member (unsure of his name) was really helpful and took a photo of the box in the kitchen for me so I could be clear what nuts were on them. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing, I will definitely be back here again. Thanks Villa Italia!

Nice food, good value and nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly but a bit inattentive, perhaps because it was busy. Felt you had to ask for a lot of things and were not checked up on. Apart from that, it’s a nice family restaurant with good food.

Very nice restaurant with beautiful Italian decoration. We got a table quite quickly despite the crowd (in the dining room and waiting). Very dynamic service. We ate well there. A safe bet if you don't know where to eat!

We were a table of 4 here on a Wednesday night for an early dinner at 5.30pm. It was relatively quiet when we arrived and we were seated immediately. It took a few minutes for menus to be brought over but our food arrived fairly quickly. Everything was absolutely delicious. Two of us ordered the carbonara, and two ordered the pizza, we got a side of cheesy garlic bread to share. The carbonara was genuinely one of the best I've ever had anywhere, so rich and a really nice portion size too. Unfortunately, after we finished our dinner, it took about 15 or 20 minutes for our server to come back to our table to check to see if we wanted a dessert, so we asked for dessert menus. Our server forgot to bring them and after another 10 minutes we had to go up and ask for them again. We ordered 2 sundaes, a fudge cake and a tiramisu, but we were brought 2 fudge cakes and no tiramisu! Again the desserts were really nice! After we'd finished, our dishes were cleared by the server but then no-one came back to ask if we needed anything else or if we wanted our bill. After waiting several minutes we ended up having to ask for the bill to be brought over to us. We paid £95 for 4 soft drinks, 4 mains, a side and 4 desserts. For the quality of the food, I felt it was well worth what we paid and I'd definitely go back.

Unaware that the restaurant needed to be booked in advance before going, the staff were friendly, nice and helpful to get us a seat amongst the audience. The premises was neat and tidy, the food was delicious, tasty, well prepared and it is not expensive to afford. I am looking forward to my next visit at the restaurant to enjoy the atmosphere once more and try out other food as well

To be honest I was sceptical about coming back here as I came 3 years ago and it wasn't nice however, I decided to give it another go and I'm glad I did. We had the Pollo (chicken pesto) and Antonella (Salami and rocket) pizzas to share for starters and then I had the Linguine All'Angelo (tiger prawns in a creamy sauce) for the main course. The food was gorgeous. The pizzas were brilliantly cooked with loads of toppings on a smokey wood fired base. The pizzas came out 10 mins after ordering and smelt and tasted just as good as they looked. My pasta dish was light and just perfect for someone who likes cream but can't handle too much of it. The prawns were cooked to perfection and I honestly would have ate another one if I wasn't full. It was that good. Customer service was great to. No complaints at all. Yes its a bit noisy but ya can't expect it to be quiet when it's buzzing full of people. The prices were worth the food and experience in my eyes. Not too expensive and not too cheap just what ya should be paying for those dishes. Pizzas: £14.50 ish each Pasta: £15.65 To say the least I'll be back for more. Would highly recommend.

Best Italian restaurant in Belfast ever.

Group of 10 had mixed shared starters and an array of mains and sides. Food excellent, waiting staff very attentive and accommodating. Fabulous place for a reunion dinner. Will definitely be back again.

Great restaurant. We didn't have a reservation but we were accommodated within five minutes. I had three courses as the food was delicious. The kids agreed. The staff were friendly. Very reasonable price considering that I had one beer and my wife had two glasses of wine.

Overall a very pleasant experience. It is an extremely busy place.. The outside entrance unto the restaurant is really well designed and very welcoming. Staff are on the ball.... try and get a table beside a window.

Lovely food. There wasn't a vegetarian pasta option on the menu but the rustled one up for me that used to be on it. It was absolutely packed and service was still very good.

All in all a great night. Pizza and pasta are ace. Steak, not so much so. And I couldn't believe there was no draught beers.

Worst Christmas dinner I've ever had.

The food was delicious as always, I got the seafood pasta dish which was very tasty and fresh. The people I was with enjoyed the pizza a lot and everyone was happy with the portion sizes. The staff were quite friendly but a bit pushy towards the end to try and get the table back (unfortunate but to be expected near the city centre at the weekend). The decor is great and feels like a warm authentic Italian restaurant.

If there was an option for 0 stars this place would most definitely qualify. Disgusting. 1 and a half hour wait for a table we BOOKED. Very poor service, not a care in the world for the customer. We wont be back. Disappointed is an understatement.

Probably the worst take away I’ve had in ages 60 pound for it to go in the bin meatballs was rock hard 🤮pizza was hard asked for sweetcorn and there was 3 sweetcorn on the whole pizza

Simply the best restaurant in Belfast, proven in the fact that it is eternally packed out. Food, drink, atmosphere is top class and extremely fairly priced. Wonderful location for family and friends get-togethers and Villa always seems to find a way to accommodate large groups, despite their bulging doors.

Sorry but food was not good, 3 different pizzas were tasteless and lasagna was dark brown as if reheated several times. Desert was the worst cheesecake I have ever had, disgusting. Service was great but very poor food

This place is buzzing all the time, and its a really nice setting. The only probe is the food is below par. I had the Pork Fillet, Pan-Fried and complimented with a Creamy Marsala & Mushroom Sauce. The fillet was really soft and nice, the sauce however lacked any taste of Marsala at all, just mushroom- i did tell the waitress, i did eat it all as the pork was great, which is odd, the sauce should be the easy bit. ~My wife had the canelooni, which was ribbon's of pasta tossed in a tasteless sauce. I thought you cant go wrong with the pancakes in orange sauce, but again they were cold and tasted like from a packet. Please sort out the simple things. Reviews on here are great, i am from London so eaten in many Italians maybe we had an off day. Buti can only review what i had

Best Italian restaurant in Belfast and beyond! Great food, service and lovely decor and atmosphere . We always meet friends here, that love this restaurant too...and we treat ourselves at least once a month to a Villa Italia meal.What more can I say!! Very reasonable pricing too 👍

Was very busy so obviously a popular place. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Service a little lacking but they were very busy so understandable. They definitely wanted us to leave quickly though as they had a lot of people waiting for tables.

Our visit to Villa Italia was like putting on a most comfortable pair of slippers. As our children were growing up we more or less spent every special occasion celebrating at Villa Italia and last Sunday was like Deja-vu though we were celebrating a 27th birthday! We had a wonderful family meal for 11 including 3 grandchildren and the food, ambiance, service and friendliness were as good as we remembered. Well done Villa Italia!

Hard to fault this long time restaurant, make sure to book on weekends as it gets packed. There are lots of staff so you are never waiting long to order or get your meal. Pizzas have a good tasty base, pastas are cooked spot on, the polpettini entree are delicious. If i had to find a fault it is that it is always so busy and packed it can get a little noisy. Try get the upstairs far end, you feel like you’re in an Italian Piazza!

Villa Italia is our favourite Italian restaurant in Belfast. We are always able to get a table and the owner remembers our daughter's name, which makes this a special family treat every time we visit.

The worst meal ever, please, I'm a global traveller and I've never encountered this in any other part of the world, first of all our party of four was given a window seat to dine, initially an unskilled ordering waiter was packing us money to get a knife and fork when the knife and fish fork fell straight down on my friend's hand which had been injured and had undergone an operation. But this waiter even a sorry did not say even this knife and fork fell on the table, I think all need to say a sorry, this waiter even straight away, at the same time, his work clothes and his microsoft above stained, grease stains. It was very unpleasant. The second is also the most let us angry point in another waiter to us on our side of the time, the threw a very casual and even arrogant and his colleagues chatting with his colleagues on the day to take a broken rags to us on the dish plate directly hit the corner of my friend's eyes, my friend directly scared, and was scalded by the zap in my body and the waiter even in there laughing. The jaw-dropping handling of the hysterical classes by the already numb restaurant management, especially Angelo, makes it seem like a place where exploitation and oppressive rule over the little people, full of arrogance and prejudice, congregate.🤢🤮😂🫵🏻

I have been to so many cities and countries, and have eaten many restaurants, even running my own restaurant. However, I never expected to encounter a waiter accidentally dropping a knife and fork onto a guest's hand while collecting dishes without showing any apology, just smiling. After that, another waiter stepped on my foot without any indication, not even moving his foot. When I looked up in surprise, I was hit by a plate held by another waiter and the corner of my eye was hurt. I cried out in pain, and the waiter didn't express anything. It wasn't until I was helped down by a friend to the bathroom and finished processing it, and after my friend complained to the manager, that I finally said 'sorry'.This is Villa Italia
