Great food with strong flavours and interesting menu options. Food is consistently amazing. This is my favourite place for food in Belfast currently. There are so many options but my go to is the beef birra tacos and nduja mac and cheese. It’s also a beautiful setting and has a lovely feel to place. Cocktails and their own brand beer go down a treat

We came for lunch with some friends and my 4yo daughter. From arrival the staff were so attentive and friendly. Menu was hard to choose from as there were so many delicious options! The service was great , we didn't wait long at all for our food and the all our meals looked and tasted amazing! We sat in the outside covered terrace area which was so pretty. We had some mocktails also and the staff brought my daughter a wee cocktail glass so she felt like one of the girls. Will definitely be back 😊

Impresionante lugar con un ambiente muy acogedor. El personal es increíble y merece un gran saludo por la atención y la amabilidad. Nuestro servidor estaba tan en la pelota siempre registrando para pedidos de bebidas y si todo estaba bien. Incluso notó mi placa de cumpleaños y me trajo un helado de cumpleaños tan encantador. La comida era impecable tan encantador y único. Los tacos Birria iban a morir. Grandes porciones y precios una experiencia de cumpleaños muy agradable.

Visitamos Hendrix anoche por primera vez y ha sido una de las mejores experiencias de restaurantes que hemos tenido. Desde las opciones de menú hasta un servicio fantástico, este restaurante realmente no tiene fallas. Elegimos asientos interiores, pero al aire libre también era una opción que parecía muy atractivo. La pasta se cocinó a la perfección y se terminó muy bien con un pudín de toffee pegajoso esponjoso. Sin duda volveremos a visitar!

¡Las primeras impresiones cuentan y Hendrix realmente brilla! Personal amable y acogedor, ambiente encantador, decoración navideña impecable y fabulosa. Los cócteles están bien hechos y realmente pegan en el punto... lo mejor que hemos tenido en mucho tiempo. El menú es variado y se adaptará a todos seguro, todos coincidimos en que nuestras elecciones eran muy sabrosas, bien presentado y buen tamaño de porción. Nos encantó el lugar y sin duda volveremos de nuevo seguro. Gracias a todo el personal!

Realmente gran lugar, no puedo creer que hemos pasado por alto este lugar durante tanto tiempo. El menú era genial, las porciones eran enormes y la comida encantadora. Sin duda volveré!

No podría recomendar más. Viajé a Belfast desde Escocia para un viaje de cumpleaños con mi pareja. Visitado el domingo tenía la cena asada. Honestamente, ¡entrega el mejor asado que he tenido en mi vida! El personal era todo increíble y se esforzó para asegurarse de que disfrutamos de nuestra comida y lo hicimos extra especial con un helado de cumpleaños. ¡Planeando un viaje de vuelta para venir aquí a cenar y beber!

Visitamos Belfast desde Gales para nuestro 13 aniversario de boda y cenamos en Hendrix y fue fantástico. Teníamos tacos de birria, tacos de pollo, patatas fritas Hendrix, patatas bravas y el bueno sundae y todo estaba delicioso. La comida salió rápidamente y el servicio fue genial fue encantador para obtener una copa de Prosecco y deseó feliz aniversario. Sin duda volveremos en nuestra próxima visita a Belfast.

Fuimos aquí para nuestro aniversario de bodas el sábado, la primera vez aquí y no será la última, es un lugar tan encantador, el personal es tan atento incluso cuando está ocupado y eso es muy difícil de conseguir ahora. Escribimos una fiesta de cinco, un niño. Todo el mundo tenía una comida hermosa, y el tamaño de la porción vale la pena el dinero, la comida era deliciosa y los cócteles son encantadores. Lo único negativo sería que los desiertos fueron los mejores, se ven muy bien, pero no mucho sabor, pero puedo lidiar con eso ya que la comida nos llenó lo suficiente. Prueba las margaritas picantes

Hendrix boasts an exciting fusion of Italian and Mexican cuisine and vibrant cocktails; the best of both worlds! I booked a table to celebrate my partner’s 19th birthday and from start to end, everything was immaculate. We had three members of staff looking after us, namely Bronagh, Jack, and Chloe. We started off with some breads and the Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings which were exceptional and bursting with flavour. The main courses impressed us even more. The Double Chorizo burger was fantastic and my partner really enjoyed her Nduja Penne pasta. We had sides of the Cholula Fries and the Patatas Bravas. Everything was first class! Hendrix facilitates a cosy interior and the open kitchen setting of the restaurant really provided a thrilling theatre for us, something that is often overlooked by many restaurants. After dinner the staff brought out my partners birthday cake with a sparkler candle and music. This was a really special touch for us and made the night stand out for her. While on the topic of service, It should be said that we were so well looked after by the aforementioned staff. Our water glasses were topped up, glasses cleared and new cutlery replaced promptly after each course. Staff were so attentive and friendly, a perfect example of what restaurant service should be like. I can’t thank the staff at Hendrix enough for making this occasion that extra bit special. We’ve definitely discovered a new favourite spot and we will certainly be back, hopefully sooner rather than later!

I had a meal here on Friday evening and from the outset the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, this would continue for the duration of our meal. Extremely well run establishment, drinks and food order taken straight away and starters followed soon after. Then not long after the mains arrived. Delicious food & drinks, can’t fault this place whatsoever. Lovely decor and vibe about this place. Will definitely be back and recommending to others. Thanks to lovely staff for their service.

Just a short stroll from the Lyric Theatre, the Ulster Museum, and the Botanic Gardens, Hendrix has a stylish, relaxed vibe with some great weekly specials to complement the modern menu, including small plates, pasta dishes, tacos, and popular favourites such as burgers, nachos and loaded fries. We started with a glass of fizz, and a couple of excellent cocktails from this week’s specials list; an Old Fashioned and a Spicy Margarita. Our beautifully presented small plates of Caprese Salad with buffalo mozzarella, pesto & garlic bread, and “Crustacean Sensation” from the specials menu, with plump, juicy prawns in a Marie Rose sauce with piquant pickled radishes on a fabulous homemade parmesan soda bread, were perfect appetisers before the main event. To follow, the Chicken Parm, a golden, breaded chicken breast with tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella, crunchy fries, and a charred corn rib, was perfectly moist and flavourful, and the generously stuffed Baja Fish Tacos with slaw, salsa roja, pico de gallo, and pickled onion were a spicy delight. We also loved the side of Honey Chilli Tender Stem Broccoli: sweet & spicy and sprinkled with flaked almonds. Desserts are also extremely good; the “old school” Apple Crumble with ice cream and crème anglaise was comfort food at its best, and the Affogato was covered in crumbly amaretti biscuits with a shot of Amaretto on the side for an extra almondy hit. Hendrix’s first birthday celebrations on Sunday will be an amazing night of incredible dishes, food and cocktail specials, and lots of other fun surprises in store.

We saw this restaurant on TikTok, and were so glad we did! We shared a couple of dishes, all of which were delicious. The cocktails were also a 10/10. Very friendly server, with great recommendations!

Went here for our dinner prior to a show at the opera house. Lovely welcoming atmosphere and really attentive friendly staff too. The halloumi fries & chicken wings starters were super tasty & the birria beef tacos & chicken parm mains with the buffalo fries side were absolutely fantastic!! Was our first time here but it will definitely not be the last. Could not fault a single bit of our dining experience here. Great service from really nice staff, great atmosphere & outstanding food!! You can't to wrong here! Very reasonably priced too, job done Hendrix, five stars all the way! See you again soon.

Amazing value for money, fantastic atmosphere, food was delicious, service was fast and very friendly, drinks were great.

I had a meal in here on Saturday evening and I can't fault the place. We had a warm welcome from staff and were quickly seated. The menu was great with plenty to choose from including some specials. The starters were great and there was plenty of food on the plate. I had the beef tacos for my main and they were fantastic. The only negative for me was how close the tables are together but thankfully we had noone beside us. I will definitely be back. The service throughout was great and the staff were very attentive

Absolutely beautiful food. We were running late and they were very accommodating. I ordered chicken wings and they were perfect and actually spicy unlike a lot of other places. I got tacos for my main and again they tasted so lovely. I wasn’t too keen on the corn ribs think there was a bit too much spice on it. My husband loved every bit of his meal also. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Could not fault any aspect of our meal. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Belfast.

Cocktails were nice but all 4 plates were basic, terribly bland & over cooked. The pasta was mushy and tasted weird, The chicken was like cardboard with chilli mayo as topping. The Hendrix loaded fries were sadly nothing special, you can purchase the same at your local shop deli. It’s such a shame.

The service and the friendliness of staff is really prevalent in this new trendy restaurant. We were greeted very enthusiastically and made feel really welcome by front of house. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and are confident enough to make recommendations. Drinks are very reasonably priced, however I think the food menu is on the slightly overpriced side for what you actually receive. Menu is simple, easy to navigate and is effective which I appreciate. The food was great, very tasty and extremely well presented however I thought the portion size for the main was slightly small when compared to the price. Our bill was approximately £70 for two drinks each (two cocktails, two gins) , one main with fries and three small plates which I thought was very reasonable. Definitely will be back and have booked again for the end of the month. Very positive experience and makes a change from dining out in the city centre. One small improvement - you stock good quality gin and a nice range of tonics, so get cucumber so gins can be garnished correctly.

Decor was nice and a lively atmosphere (music was on the loud side). Feel it caters to a young, trendy crowd who appreciate the cocktails and instagram opportunities. The food was quite average and underwhelming. My friend and I both ordered different pasta dishes which were both very oily and quite bland. The drinks were good and the service was excellent. Unfortunately the food is just not nice enough for me to want to return.

Me and my boyfriend came here for our anniversary; we were kindly given a glass of Prosecco each for this. The staff were very attentive and the food was full of flavour it was delicious and also didn’t take long to come out. Nice atmosphere for a dinner date, we will definitely be back!

I had seen this restaurant all over tiktok and instagram with rave reviews so decided to give it a go. Overall I was disappointed. The decor and staff are lovely and portion sizes are generous however the food for me was very very average. I ordered the nduja penne pasta which was undercooked and had items missing from the dish (no chorizo or roast peppers as described on the menu) and the potatas bavas which didnt come with a lot of sauce leaving them quite dry.

Booked this restaurant after a few people had recommended it and we were not disappointed! The food was top notch and so was the service. Our server Emilia (I believe that was her name) was very attentive and polite, definitely an asset to the restaurant! 10/10 would recommend and will be back again soon.

The menu defies categorisation, a sort of European/American mash-up, but what we had was very tasty. Can't fault either food or service but the music was a bit too much - and, despite the name, no Jimi Hendrix! A major plus was that it was open on Sunday, unlike many others in Belfast. But when we, by chance, rocked up outside a place that was clearly open we were amused to see that Tripadvisor claimed it was closed. That bit of misinformation couldn't be doing Hendrix any good.

Beautifully presented and incredibly tasty food, excellent service and a really great experience. Only wish we lived closer so we could visit more often!

Went for lunch today and had a great meal. All food ordered was so tasty, well presented and cooked fresh. The decor was lovely and staff were so attentive and friendly. Definitely going to return!

Booked this place after seeing a good few videos about it. Order the Birria taco and the chicken tacos, buffalo chicken wings, salt and chilli chicken and buffalo fries- all of it was amazing especially the buffalo fries, they are a must!! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back, thanks to everyone at Hendrix:)

Happened upon this place, which has not been opened long. The Hendrix fries were a real hit (comfort food at its best) as were the nachos to share. Sat outside because we had a dog with us, but indoors looked very nice too. Friendly staff
