Excellent Sunday lunch here today. They have a new chef who is cooking everything fresh, all the vegetables were freshly cooked to order and the taste difference is amazing. The meats were beautifully cooked and the homemade Yorkshire puddings are huge. Add in the homemade cauliflower cheese with smoked apple cheese and you know you're in for a treat! Very friendly place, great service and yummy food, we will definitely be back. Thanks guys. X

We visited The Victory inn and had a few drinks and a meal. We were served by the delightful Kelly who was super friendly and helpful. The food was really good as well. I had rump steak with peppercorn sauce and my partner had steak fajitas. Both were cooked perfectly and were truly delicious.

Came for a roast today, it was really great. Piping hot, nice variety of veg, couldn’t fault anything. Staff are also great! Definitely would recommend a visit. You won’t be disappointed.

We were in the area on a sailing weekend with friends. We dined here on Sunday evening. A lovely menu was available. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I tried one of the homemade pies and it was absolutely delicious, served with mashed potato & a lovely selection of greens & gravy. There was a lovely atmosphere in this very traditional pub.Very pleased we visited.

After reading the wonderful reviews on here we decided to book lunch here with our dog. It was one of the nicest meals we have had. Everything so fresh and home made. Service was excellent and Sarah and Kelly were so friendly and helpful. They also have a doggie roast and doggie desert!

Wow. Went down just for a few pints. I was served by Bev, I said I was hungry and she said go for the steak, this was amazing. Nathan bought the food out with a smile. Jackie was great who picked up our dishes for Jack the kinda to wash up. All in all a great experience. Will definitely be back.

Arrived late afternoon and was served very quickly with cheery smile. Atmosphere was very good and service was superb by Bev and Co. Meals were served piping hot, really enjoyable and quite filling. Will be recommending to Family and Friends.

Saw earlier in the week a new menu was being released and knew we had to come and try it! Fantastic options for all courses and plenty of gluten free and vegetarian choices. We went for the garlic mushrooms and chilli and garlic king prawns to start, they were both incredible! For mains our son had the pizza with added ham, a brilliant sized portion for a kids meal! We had the sirloin steak medium well and the new Nelsons Column burger, both cooked perfectly and the burger was definitely impressive! Sadly we were too full for desserts which was a shame as so much to choose from! Amazing food, great atmosphere, brilliant service!!

Had a fantastic Lamb, veg and dauphinouse in a delicious jeux. Good chef, great meal so let them know. Definitely eat here again.

My brother and I visited the Victory today for lunch. Ordered one fish and chips and one steak and ale pie. Also ordered a couple of drinks. 2 girls serving or rather one girl did the work while the other looked on as people quad to get served . I think she was in charge of food section which was not busy at all. I would say she was lazy whilst the girls serving the drinks was fast and served as fast as she could. The food came, the fish and chips fine but the steak and ale pie seemed like it had been heated up the day before. It was dry, hard and the contents also dried out. The worst pie I have ever had, the pastry was inedible. A pity as it was a lovely day out and we were hungry. Disappointed to say the least.

We visited the pub and was lucky enough to get a table as it was Good Friday. Staff were lovely and we enjoyed our food. Highly recommend the fish and chips

We were lucky enough to win a Sunday roast for 2 in their completion. It truly was a really great dinner, delicious food tender roast beef, amazing pudding. The staff could not do enough for us (Rachael) we would happily have paid for this. 100% recommend. Dog friendly too!

Popped in on a busy Sunday, at lunch time. Service was very quick, staff were really polite and friendly. Our waitress was Sami, she was quick to seat us, take our orders and was happy to help and answer any questions we had about the menu. The food arrived quickly and was the best meal we've had out in a long time. Would (and have) 100% recommend this resteraunt to anyone and will be returning soon.

After winning the Facebook Sunday roast competition. I gifted it to my mum and dad as I wasn’t able to attend. They called me later once they were home and said they had a lovely meal. Their Sunday lunch was really nice and had lots of it. They said the service was nice and friendly and they had a warm welcome. Thankyou for looking after them.

We had a booked for Sunday lunch today we were seated quickly & efficiently by Izzy. The roast dinner was a perfect size with crispy fluffy roast potato’s and a cauliflower cheese with a cracking cheese pull. Would highly recommend Sunday lunch!!!

With a large group of over 30 people... pre ordered food and all came out piping hot and really tasty. Cannot fault their service and food today.

We visit hamble about twice a month and usually eat out for one evening out of two. Over the last couple of months we have tried the food in the Victory, mainly on Friday or Saturday evenings. After 4 visits, where we have said we must review them each time, I've finally gotten round to it. This particluar visit, was about 8pm on Thursday evening, and not wishing to delay we ordered two steaks medium rare. Service was prompt and the steaks were cooked perfectly. The barman was friendly and even took the food order whilst juggling another drinks order, so we wouldn't be waiting so long for it. Previously we have had their brisket fajitas, sizzling with tender, smoky meat and vibrant vegetables, which are a must-try and still the high bar we compare all fajitas too. My daughter also complemented the burger on a previous occasion. All in all this is our go to pub for a quick drink after the drive down and then for a meal when there is no live entertainment as that seems very popular.

We went here on a Tuesday evening. The menu was varied and we were very pleased with our experience. Food and drink were affordable and the staff were very friendly.

Food, mediocre. Drinks, overcharged. Staff, scruffy and unknowledgeable. Gentleman with very short hair mouse coloured hair was unprofessional. Change of ownership. Welcomed by everyone in the Village. No one wants a pub with a seedy reputation (the Landlord and Barmaid scenario says it all ). Good riddance !

Some stockily built girl provided the wrong order, overcharged and provided terrible service. Seemed to eat all the time whilst on duty !

I came here on a Monday with my Husband, he ordered a chicken burger and it was like rubber! It was totally awful, never had chicken like it. We have been here and eaten before and had a Sunday dinner. Which was relatively nice. This morning I have tried to call on 3 occasions and the phone had just rang out, I have tried to call other mornings to try and book a table for 10 last Sunday too but no one is available to answer calls. I have previously called and booked tables before for my family, and they have always been answered even from 8am. I have been calling between 9-10am! Has something changed at this pub recently? A lovely lady use to answer the phone, but I can’t seem to get hold of anyone in the mornings! I was willing to give this pub a chance to redeem itself with my family for Sunday dinner as that’s always been relatively good! I was hoping they were just having an off Monday! But I will be going else where from now on.

Staying in Hamble and found The Victory in a quaint street leading down to the marina. Delicious home cooked food served by friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Un encantador y pintoresco y animado pub hicieron sentir muy bienvenidos. La comida, aunque le faltaba un poco de sabrosa algo, tuve el horneado de queso Camembert y aunque había un montón de cosas y un montón de pan para ir con él, si no ha sido un poco y además de grosellero indio o cranberry hubiera totalmente levantadas este plato a un nivel diferente. Mi marido pidió un plato que venía con patatas fritas de camote, que no todo el mundo le gusta. Quizás sea una buena idea para servir con patatas fritas las patatas fritas normales, pero venderte camote cuando la orden es tomado? Tuve el jamón, huevos y patatas fritas, que otra vez estaba bastante bueno, pero estaba pensando que estaría bien gruesas jamón asados, pero era muy finas. Aunque en general fue agradable, buen tamaño de las porciones y un ambiente encantador. Volvería!

Haber tenido una "experiencia decepcionante" en un pub cerca entramos en un año 1.913 totalmente diferente! El personal era cálido y amable y nos sirvieron dos de los más encantador (y más grande) porciones de pescado delicioso 'n chips que habíamos tenido en mucho tiempo. No pierda sus vacaciones pub en Hamble - siga aquí!

Venía de una comida de domingo con mi amigo exigente. Para todas sus necesidades. Asado de domingo era perfecto. Gran variedad de cervezas y el personal era muy amable y hará cualquier cosa para ayudar. "Laura", el personal del bar no podían hacer nada más por nosotros. Tan servicial!

Always a good choice when we have foreign visitors they love the atmosphere and the friendly staff. The house speciality is a variety of Pies and great Fish and Chips. Pub Grub at its best great value and a good choice of hand pulled beers.

We stumbled on this pub when looking for somewhere to eat in Hamble. The good was far more than standard "pub grub" with good fish dishes and homemade pies and desserts. If we were in the area we would definitely go again.

Been here many times. Great pub in a really quaint little street. Really lively at weekends. Gets very packed on live music nights. Large beer garden on side so great in summer. Had a great Sunday lunch here last week but need to book.

This is a terrific pub, clearly a favourite with locals, but also welcoming to strangers. The food was excellent and the service superb. We are in Hampshire for another month and may well return.

Mi esposa y yo, durante un descanso en la costa sur, decidimos tener nuestra cena aquí como las críticas en Tripadvisor eran tan buenas. Guau, desde el momento en que llegamos en Hamble pensamos en lucha por un espacio, ya que todo estaba lleno! Dos Rondas de bebidas, y un plato principal, todo por más de 50 libras, y se realizaron. Fue una experiencia maravillosa y volveremos a hacerlo todo de nuevo!!!

Hamble-Le-Rice a place we visited last year, searched on tripadvisor pubs to eat in Hamble, checked out few pubs and decided that while visiting extended family members who live locally we'd decided to give The Victory Inn a try.

No tienen también un menú interesante y bastante variado.

Cenamos aquí con la familia y los amigos de Liverpool. El servicio era excelente, amable y rápido. La comida era deliciosa, tuvimos una variada selección del menú, pescado y patatas, carne tarta, rape y bacon pinchos, bistec, lasaña, sin olvidar el menú infantil de palomitas pollo, que tenía una buena selección de vegetales opciones para los pequeños sin haber tenido la una condición para su aplicabilidad patatas fritas. Los postres eran variados y todavía no hemos decidido si la banana split, pastel de plátano y toffee estaban o los brownies de chocolate es de lo mejor!

Fuimos dos parejas, reservamos una mesa en fue una noche de sábado hora del almuerzo. Muchas personas dentro, algunos se prepara para ver los deportes en televisión grande. Nos sentamos lejos a por la ventana, todo el personal era muy agradable y servicial. Comida llegó a la mesa rápidamente aunque un montón de mesas en uso, buen tamaño de la porción, caliente y bien presentada. Varios extra/s de tema a bordo de especialidades incluyendo varios entrantes, platos principales y postres. No estamos apresurado de ninguna manera así que pasamos un tiempo disfrutando del tiempo juntos. Bien hecho la Victoria llegará otra vez. .

Basándose en el examen pasado, nos hizo una reserva el viernes por la noche pasada. Un pequeño pub acogedor con un personal muy agradable y el servicio. Menú era normal pero no era enorme y precios módicos con ofertas especiales. Nos dos comidas especiales de orden de la Junta y dos del menú. Comida caliente y bistecs estaban muy bien preparado. El pub es un poco lejos de todo, sin embargo, un buen ambiente y me imagino que sería bastante popular en el verano cerca del río Hamble.

Pleasant pub in a picturesque setting. Oak beamed, cosy atmosphere, well stocked bar, pleasant and helpful staff. Reasonable menu with separate Light Bites section. Can thoroughly recommend their Fish and Chips and Omelettes.

El servicio atento sin ser excesivamente intrusivo. Excelente bodega de cervezas y una variada carta de vinos. En general, una buena comida de pub experiencia que recomendaría a cualquiera.

Esta era la segunda vez en este pub encantador en Hamble-le-arroz. Un pequeño pub con un gran corazón. El personal es siempre muy amable y profesional. La comida tengo que decir que era magnífico, una porción masiva de pescado y patatas con guisantes blandos y salsa tartar. Muy sabroso bien por el chef y bien hecho en la parte frontal del equipo de casa. El único inconveniente es el aparcar un pequeño aparcamiento situado detrás del edificio, sin embargo son más grandes zonas de aparcamiento pero un 4 minutos a pie. Así que no te desanimes.

Yo probablemente eligió el plato equivocado del menú como no me impresionó mucho de mis amigos disfrutaron de sus comidas; la lasaña y tarta de pasty. El servicio era bueno y los precios razonables. Visitamos el Victoria Inn el domingo 30 de agosto para un almuerzo en familia. El ambiente era relajado y cómodo, y las comidas salió a nosotros en el momento oportuno. El domingo pasado una pinta estupenda de Adnams Topaz Gold ir con mi almuerzo. El servicio es bueno y hay asientos fuera algunas de las cuales está cubierta. Exactamente lo que comida de pub debe ser. Los domingos, se puede llenar así que hacer una reserva para un grupo grande es recomendable. Si vas en coche parque por la carretera de la Iglesia o el bosquecillo Lane, donde puedes aparcar gratis.

La comida también era muy buena, mi marido tenía carne asada y nos encantó, todo es casero un delicioso. los precios son muy razonables y las porciones son muchas.
