Excellent Sunday Roast, plenty meat , vegetables , this is a must. good food friendly staff well worth a visit

We eat here when we feel the need for a good experience I personally love the beer at this restaurant, the food is good value for money and I have not had a bad meal. This weekend we had the Sunday roast sadly we didn't get chance to finish our meal as there was so much to eat. Great value for money in these financial challenging times, we have taken all our family and friends for meals and never heard anything but complimentary remarks. Thanks for a great meal and friendly atmosphere and keep up the good hard work.....good times ahead.

This pub used to be a standard drinkers pub until it was taken over by the current owner. Now it's absolutely fantastic and nice to see it has shaken that image. The inside is totally overhauled and modern, the staff are incredibly friendly and the food, wow. I was blown away with how good the food was, a proper "don't judge a book by its cover" place. Prices are fair for the amount and quality of food served and drink prices aren't bad either as it still tries to be a mixed pub/restaurant It's actually quite hard to get a booking on some Fri evenings at times as its become rather popular. If I had to moan about one thing it would be the lack of parking, but don't let that put you off. Would definitely return again

We were feeling the need for some refreshment after a long walk in very warm weather an called in to the Victoria Tavern during their lunch service, and were met by lovely aromas of fresh cooked meals, but we only wanted cool drinks so from choice took our drinks out to the litte patio at the rear. The pub has a very traditional and homely feel and I assume it is well used by locals. We were given a warm welcome and the drinks did the trick for us. A great pub.

We booked a table for Sunday lunch. OMG this was amazing. We both had Lamb that was delivered to our table by staff who were friendly and very professional. This was the closest to. Home cooked meal that I could wish for. I tried Butternut squash for the 1st time and it was incredible. 10/10 for the Victoria and thank you xxx

Great food, very friendly and our go to place when in East Cowes. Aides and his staff are always helpful and we feel the steaks are the best on the Isle of Wight
