Victoria Inn in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

After a random Google map search for somewhere to eat we came across this little gem Despite the temporary reduced menu, the food on offer was still a good variety I had the homemade mac n cheese with garlic bread and my partner had the homemade steak and ale pie with a side of garlic bread which tasted amazing Good portion sizes and very tasty Staff are very friendly and helpful Would highly recommend 😀

A lovely place to eat. The food and service is top class. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. We will certainly recommend The Victoria Inn to our cottage guests and campers, seeing as it's less than 3 miles from us.😀

One of the best meals we've ever had !

Stopped in here for an evening meal, they managed to fit us in. The owners and staff are amazing and really welcoming. This pub is what pubs should be, fantastic atmosphere. We had a fantastic meal in here and the beer was great too. Live music, could have easily stopped here all night.

Absolutely delicious Sunday Roast today, had the Pork with all the trimmings including scrummy homemade stuffing, crispy crackling, proper yorkies puds, fresh veggies, tasty cauliflower cheese and plenty of hot, meaty gravy - definitely on for another visit very soon. Cheerful, friendly and helpful staff, excellent value for money!

Really nice pub, good drinks and food.

In the area for the weekend visiting family, popped in for lunch. Food was absolutely spot on, really great value and super quality. Something of a hidden gem. Would 100% stop in again.

We went on a Sunday evening, only roasts available, which is fine. One thing you want is for the food to be hot and it certainly was not. I sent my Daughters plate back as her meat was cold. My meat was also cold and was advised it should be luke warm! 😳 It was barely that. When our plates were collected I mentioned that everything they served was cold apart from the roast potatoes and gravy and the waitress said, "I will mention it." We heard nothing more, we paid our bill and left. Needless to say, we will not be returning!

Very good food and excellent prices and very nicely decorated inside. Can’t really fault it. Service is very good also.

Great service, good price and great food

Had an absolutely spot on dinner this evening. We both ordered off their specials board. My husband had pan fried chicken, dauphinois potatoes and veg and I had homemade falafel, hummus, mint yoghurt and pickled cabbage on flatbread. Honestly couldn't fault any of it. We had desserts too which were amazing. Great service, price and atmosphere too!

👍😊 Visited here for first time yesterday, as we are moving in to the area, and it'll be our closest local. What a fantastic pub it is! The Landlady was very welcoming, and the locals were super friendly too. The food was really good, with fair portion sizes also. Has a good selection of cornish ales, 🍻 beers and cider 🍏 on tap. Love the fact it has a pool table and jukebox aswell. The cozy log burner 🔥 was the finishing touch. Can't wait to make it our local pub. Dan, Abigail and Ziggy 🐕 🐾

What can I say so friendly and welcoming Turn up on a day that the chief was trialling a new dish offered it to the staff .I was sat in the bar and it smelt wonderful Had already placed order for food and was offer the opportunity to first customer to try the new dish. Its was amazing you need to visit here the food is truly wonderful and has a very good vegetarian menu It'd a family run good pub and restaurant you walk in and feel the happy vibes. Oh and I believe Grandads the brilliant chef

Absolutely brilliant place rang to pre book for 10 of us no problem at all one lady working the bar taking orders and bringing food out bless her but did brilliantly what we liked was she brought kids food out first then the adults nothing was of any bother very friendly and helpful couldn't fault anything food was delicious would definitely go back sorry forgot to take pictures husband said he would highly recommend the lamb shanks

Great roast late on a Sunday, sensible prices and friendly staff. Not much parking outside or behind the pub but there is parking on the roads nearby.

Good beer good food and a warm welcome from both the staff and the locals.

One of the few places that actually sells food all day. We had the steak and ale pie. Absolutely delicious. The staff where very friendly as well.

It was my local pub when I was younger went back for the first time in 40 years watt a change to the pub and all for the good very clean and lovely staff who was interested in the pub about watt it was like 40 years ago well worth a visit for the old boys from four lanes

Had a fab meal here recently. I had fish pie and my wife had the hunter's chicken. She asked for a doggy bag as the meal was huge. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Good beer and cider. Definitely will go again.

We're recommended by the guys ar Lanyon Camp Site. Good food great atmosphere and prices . Good proper pub food , nothing fancy . Piping hot and a good sized portion . Highly recommend and DOG FRIENDLY in the bar and outside , not in restaurant.

I went to the Victoria Inn Fourlanes for a Father's day meal on Sunday with my family. We all had a Sunday roast. It was a lovely flawless meal which all members of my family thoroughly enjoyed. If you want to enjoy a fantastic meal, washed down with superb beer and served by friendly helpful staff, go no further. We will be back soon. Fabulous service in difficult times. We organised and covid specific. Great food as always from dedicated staff.

We were pleasantly surprised we hadn't been since reopening. We were warmly greeted and given a table sufficiently distanced and we had a very nice drinking evening.

Nice place to enjoy with nice food. We been in the area for a few days and we repeat to have dinner in there. Staff was excellent service and you feel like you're in home. My family and myself we really recomend this restaurant to have a nice dinner with good quality, fresh and good environment plus the staff was lovely. 100% recommended and for sure we will be back.

Best pub for a village you can get

New owners are providing a bright clean pub with great lunch time food. We had Chicken Curry, Fish & Chips and Chilli all of which were cooked to order and very tasty. Will be going again!
