Most Chinese takeaways cater for English taste, I doubt if folks would eat chicken feet for example..This takeaway firstly is ultra clean unlike many we have tried. You won't get fag ash in your food. As far as anglicised/Chinese food goes it's consistent and has been for years. The food is freshly prepared and represents good value. I believe the critics are working for other takeaways in the area.

The Worst ever in my life. I am a food critic. These guys laugh at you. They will never eat what they serve. ( my sister worked there) horrible stories

This is definitely number 1 the worst chinese in hull , doesn't taste like Chinese food at all , just like star anise and soy sauce in everything , the most awful thing we've ever eaten , please if you like chinese food go anywhere apart from this

Collected my food tonight, had HKS Sweet and Sour Chicken and spicy salt chicken…….. never tasted a Chinese meal so disgusting. Tasted like it had been cooked 3 weeks ago, and by the speed it was ready I’d say it probably was. I will not be back any time soon that’s for sure. Shame, this used to be an amazing takeaway.

Called to ask for delivery. He said they cannot deliver as it's too far, I said you have always delivered to us and I didn't understand. He then got a massive attitude with me and started been clever saying he dosnt know what i dont understand. Will not order from here the staff need to habe training on customer service!!!

We love this takeaway! My favorite is their hot and spicy chow mein and the prawns' toast. While my partner's favorite is chicken curry and chicken soup. They have good quality food and brilliant service.

Bought a selection of dishes for ourselves and visitors. Quick polite service and brilliant food. Everyone was full of praise for the quality and value.

Unfortunately when you just want some quick food this is our local Chinese. Poor quality skips on ingredients. If you have the choice go elsewhere!

Been a resident to this area for over 20 years and a frequent user of this chinese take away since it opened it has been taken over by new occupants and since then the standard of the food has gone down hill. I have returned a couple of times to give a second chance but I am always disappointed on the last visit asked them if I could have the curry spicey. It was watery and no flavour I can only come to the conclusion that either the food is made in advance and the standing are watering the flavour down or they are cutting back on ingredients. The only thing I have been satisfied with are the pancake rolls. This used to be a buzzing take a way always busy now people go in dribs n drabs residents seem to be voting with their feet!

Have been using this one for a couple of years now. Quality is usually spot on, never had a bad meal. Home made spring rolls are good, nice curries. Foo-yung dishes not bad - noodle dishes good. Run by a family who really try hard and are very sympathetic if you want a dish tweaked. There are better takeaways, but you'll pay more.
