Up date It's gone down hill Was very crap with manky chips, very Shady on the food Portions

Excessive prices. One roe, two scallops, and mushy peas over £6.20!!! Where a few years ago, you could pick a meal for less than five pounds, say goodbye to double that now in many circumstances.

This chippy is just the best. Always delivered quick and hot. Ordering on line is easy to use and pay. The quality of the food is always the best if you haven't tried the Victoria chippy you are missing out The staff are so friendly and welcoming 20 out of 10 xx

Foods was wonderful even the fussy ones in my house couldn't fault their food

Don’t get me wrong the fish and chips here are amazing but they have a few problems First. Their plain chips are so bland they are more bland than toast without anything. Second I found lots of hairs here and there, again in the plain chips Third Their fish was NOT fresh it just seemed they have me a hardened fish as once I tried to take a bite to eat the fish it ended up being more difficult to eat than steak that was 2 days old But the food is really good so leaving a 3 star review

I ordered food from here to be delivered at 6.40pm and never turned up to 8.20 on arrival it was cold I contacted the people who I ordered through and the ower only offered me £4.90 back and my order was £13.10 and all the food had to go in the bin

Oh dear, what has happened.Wife went in Monday 7.50 we haven't got this haven't got that, not going to cook anything more either. Got the fish and chips back , dry fish rank chips,the mushy peas were good, but they were out of our cupboard. Sorry but speak as you find.

I’ve been going here for 30 years since moving to Tipton, the prices are now astronomical, the customer service from one member of staff is not good she did leave but has returned. 16.45pm on a Friday they serve me chips like this absolutely disgusting inedible, cold, unfortunately I will never visit this chip shop ever again!

Twice we’ve found hair in our meals. Hoped the first time was a one off but clearly not. Won’t be returning 🤢

What happend to this place? I had an chicken wrap and the meat was terrible... It was dry and hard and there was deffo to many spices i could only taste curry spice but not chicken, in a past it was grate but its goes complitely down. And also wrap cost ne 6.70 each, thats jokes....

I think I might have popped in at the wrong time, Chicken and battered sausage was just a greasy mush not good ☹

Always used to like their fish and chips but our last meal will definitely be our last meal from Victoria chippy! The fish and chips were by a long long way the worst we've ever had from anywhere! The large fish was so small with no actual fish inside the batter apart from a small chunk of Pollock because there's no way cod would taste that bad! the woman server had to give me 2 & she even said sorry while serving me! Because she obviously knew it would be a waste of money! And the chips were not not only the afternoon chips I'd go as far as to say the day befores chips they were only rock hard scraps! Never again! 🤢

The best battered chips I've ever had, generous portions - I had the halloumi pitta but couldn't eat it all!! - and super friendly staff serving tasty, hot food!

If you want to wait 25 minutes for your order and then for it to be below average this is your place to go!!! Having waited 25 minutes for two simple meals (a pie and chip special and a kebab and chips, doesn’t take Einstein to put it together in less than 10 minutes), a total of 4 customers got served before us and we ended up hearing everyone’s life story’s. Oh and as for Annie also found out she’s an orphan as she was chit chatting away with everyone else instead of getting our order together. The only nice one would be the young girl so not orphan Annie or the curly haired glasses lady. Won’t be coming again but then again I’m pretty sure that’s what they wanted with that shoddy service.

Absolutely exceptional chip shop best in the Sandwel area and beyond - today I was served by liz always welcomed with a smile friendly service and freshly prepared food every time I go - can’t fault anything about this place all the staff are fantastic food is always brilliant regardless of what I eat each time I go! Would recommend this chippy to everyone it’s always open so your not sitting around till 5pm like most chip shops and always busy which is always a great sign for me 👍🏻 Thank you all again for yet another pleasant visit and the food was lovely yet again

I have been up and down the uk, I have tried lots of kebabs but this one was disappointing. All the meat was burnt and crusty, the only edible thing was the pita bread! Awful!

Excellent food as always did get order slightly wrong but when I called them to explain they sent out the correct order again at no extra cost no argument or judging and were very apologetic.....I can not fault the staff or the chippy they serve the best food in the Midlands very hot on delivery spotlessly clean. Fish and chips have taken a serious dive , chips were soggy oily and refried and the fish was dried out looks like it had been refried a few times as the batter was rock solid near the edges and fish inside was dry and turned brown. I don’t mind paying top prices but don’t expect food not fit for a dog’s dinner too . This is a regular occurrence too

Ordered 8.30 for delivery had phone call to say no scollops at 8.35 then got phone call at 9.05 to say I had ordered for collection when I had not Not the first time I have had problems with them so lost 11.50 worse things in life But I won’t order from them again Waist of space From what I got back was manager owner had gone home leaving the staff to sort things out Just about sums it up

I literally drive past 4 chip shops to get to this place - Zak and the girls are fantastic genuine down to earth people always welcome you with a smile and always friendly service and top notch food at great prices. The battered chips are the best I’ve had in the Sandwell area and surrounding can’t fault them never had a bad bag ever. I have a learning disabled son who I take in from time to time and again polite caring and friendly which goes along way even gets a drink or a lollipop each time we go. Always leave with a smile on my face and well wishes with each visit and will continue to drive past the 4 other ship shops to come to this place as long as it remains open. Opening hours are also all round brilliant if you get hungry early they are open where others places don’t open it’s always busy and that should speak for itself - massive thanks to Zak and all the girls will see you again later today

Food took 47mins to come when came the food was stone cold salad was( slimmy the cucumber ) the chips were cold and horrible 15pound down the drain waste of money as none of us could eat it will not eat from there again

Utterly utterly shocked and disappointed! Wish Google had the option for zero stars because I cannot think of anything good to say! Fish was horrible, tasted like it came out of a cheap ASDA brand box. Chips had no taste to them and the batter was way too oily. Never been so disappointed!

Used to be a lovely chippy this was the 1st time I’d been for a long time and wish I hadn’t, chips hard and dry fish disgusting wasn’t fresh and tasted like last nights old fish and chips warmed up. No thanks and never again.
