Met up with my girlfriend for a couple of drinks, The barman George was great, very engaging, and made our visit very warm and welcoming. A credit to the pub George, thank you

No acknowledgement when walking in, server on phone - did take eyes of phone screen briefly... only 5 other people in pub. Boards up outside advertising food and all tables laid up with menus and condiments. Sat down, removing wet coats etc - it was only when trying to order, after waiting for person to get off their phone, we were told they weren't doing food... Use your initiative - take the menus and condiments off the tables and remove the food advertising boards from outside. Maybe you could have actually acknowledged us when you glanced up from your phone while we were standing at the first table, nearest the door we came in, looking at the menu...

As a pub located in a railway station, this needs to be nothing more than an expensive sh****le, which is exactly what it is.

After reading reviews we decided to meet here for some food before catching our train, the bar staff were very nice and was having a lovely time, we ordered a couple of platters when the food arrived it was barely warm, i spoke to a member of staff who felt the food and agreed, he then got the manager who also felt the food and agreed it was not hot. he offered to re-make the food but as we had a train to catch and was hungry we didn't have time for this, he offered to refund the platters which we agreed to. About ten minutes later he returned to the table with the chef to take the food away or he could not refund it, we said to him again we have not choice but to eat luke warm food and did not have time to wait for more. If after feeling the food and offering a refund he wanted to take the food away he should have said that at the time and not returned with the chef which made us feel like were lying, he also could of offered a partial refund which would have been acceptable. He didn't refund any of it and we were left feeling embarrassed and uncomfortable as people were watching leaving us with a bad taste in our mouths and it wasn't just through the food. the complaint was handled very badly by the manager

Had the chicken and bacon club sandwich which was tasty. Bacon not too fatty and the chicken perfectly seasoned. Will be back to try more!

I was working late last night and couldn’t get home in time to watch Real Madrid vs Man City. I was so pleased to find the V&A had BT sport and was showing the game. A convivial atmosphere, not overcrowded, service was excellent with staff engaging in conversation even when busy and also beer was good. Would thoroughly recommend, I’ll definitely be returning

Came in for a quick pint and unexpectedly met friends and a new aquaintance. Today we were at the bar a Watching the Champions League with friends, I like it is not too full,But it was enjoyable. The staff was smiling compared to the fact that only two of them were at the bar and were quite busy.

This pub is unbelievably dirty. Staff are dispondent or can't be seen. Toilets are like something out of a slum. In fact this pub is like a slum. Go somewhere else.

Pub asqueroso. Come aquí bajo tu propio riesgo. Si debe beber aquí, tome algo de una botella. It is an utter s**thole that stinks, charges scandalous prices and is only in business because they are in a train station. The owners couldn't care less as it's been this way for 15 years I've been passing through, the toilet have been a disgrace for this long too.Vile.

This pub was ok, nothing special sticks out. Service was quick but the bar was empty. The Sports Bar next door seems to have taken most of their clientele.

Don’t be fooled by the exterior, this has to be the worse pub I’ve ever visited.I’ve never given a one star review before but this is a truly shocking pub.1 - £5.79 for a pint of Heineken?! Really?! it’s a pint of Heineken, not sure how the prices at this place are justified.2 - Staff not particularly friendly.3 - There’s more atmosphere at an undertakers.4 - Not a good choice of beers/ales.Do yourselves a flavour. You’re better off walking two minutes around the corner to the Allsop Arms, better priced, better staff, better atmosphere and better beer/ales, or a further two minutes to the Metropolitan Bar (Wetherspoons) on Baker Street!!

Great staff. Always remember their customers and drinks they order. Nice seats and good tables to meet and chill. Can spend a lot of time here waiting for trains and/or any other business. Good pub food range. Always clear tables very quickly. Outdoor seating area also and useful toilets. Opens at 1000hrs; is definitely a place to come if in Marylebone station. In short amazing pub.

The Pub looked ok from the outside so I popped in to use the loo and get a drink. I could smell the loos before I entered them. I would not drink there.

Stopped for a quick drink en route home. I think the lady serving me was a local but when I questioned paying £2.99 for a half of very standard bitter she stopped talking to me. It was served in a plastic cup which just summed it up really. I do hope visitors to London don’t stop here. Awful advert. I won’t make the same mistake again.

This place should be heaving with customers. The fact it's a pub is not obvious and one tentatively enters thinking it might be part of a hotel. Service came with a smile; and so it should at the price charged. £5.35 for a pint of Trumans bitter is eye-wateringly expensive even by London terms. The pint wasn't good either - lifeless and bland. Food was on offer but not really attractive after taking a closer look at the shabby furniture and decor generally. Very smelly toilets. Unpleasant.

Stopped in at the station to get a late lunch after some appointments.

Stopped here for a drink and some crisps with colleagues this evening. The bar staff couldn’t be more disinterested if they tried - seriously like something out of Little Britain. No atmosphere either.

Staff are the most incredibly rude people, no manners, no service, no smile... management need to take a long hard look at their appalling behaviour

Whilst waiting for our train back home after a busy day walking around London, we decided to have a quick drink, the selection of ales is not large, and prices are high, but worth a sit down.

The pub needs a bit of a face lift, the toilets were a shambles, beer was okay, and had fish and chips for lunch, sorry chip's with a lump of batter, contained hardly any fish, my mate had a burger and chips, which he said was ok, but for nearly £16 pounds it's a meal he wouldn't have again.

I go in here occasionally when I’m waiting for my train. It’s one of the grottiest pubs I’ve ever experienced.

As I was enjoying my expensive pint I observed a well executed robbery at the next table. It was so well done I didn't realise it had happened until the man discovered his mobile phone had gone.

The place is filthy; the toilets are disgusting; the staff are surly; the food is atrocious. And the worst part? They charge £6.10 for a pint of lager! Please, do yourselves a favour - NEVER visit this horrible place.

Hanging around for a train back home ay Marylebone. Dropped in for a pint mid-afternoon. Uninspiring at "London prices". Whistle wetted, onwards.

This is a station pub. Nothing fancy, but it’s a place to stop on your way to somewhere else or waiting for a train. Commuters liked it until recently. There must be new management or bar managers. Tonight I was served by a disgustingly rude woman who was training a member of her staff who has learning difficulties, in a terrible manner. It was awkward. I ordered my usual small glass of wine to which she said it was £8. I said this was ridiculous and we’d been coming her for years and she told me I should have read the new board. This continues for a while, before I told her to poor it back and walked out. She was so unbelievably rude and I heard other commuters talking about how they used to enjoy stopping there but never will again. What a shame to lose a good station pub.

We stopped by for food as it was Saturday evening in London and everywhere else was rammed. This was an average pub, a bit like a weatherspoons but worse. Not much interaction from staff, average pub grub but limited menu. Toilets were a bit battered.

Ordered the special burger and pint for £10 I would advise against this in future microwaved to death the bread was hard maybe the rest is ok not many eating here mainly a bar which is probably what it should stick to.

Worn out, unfriendly place charging exorbitant prices (£3.25 for half pint of beer). Staff unkind and unpleasant. Our table outside dirty and full of dirty glasses...NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!! Even if our train is 2 days late!!!!

I have been to few station pubs before but never encountered one as bad as this one!

They have hiked their prices over the years and book the quality has got even worse. Just bought a large glass of cheap Sauvignon Blanc for almost 8 quid. It wasn't chilled and had to send the v dirty glass back to be changed. Smacks of another greedy brewery short-changing the public. Noticed 99% of the friendly staff have changed too, which tells you something! Distasteful. Marylebone Station 6 June18.

Its an ok bar to grab a quick beer before getting the train home, although expensive its convenient - not a place you would spend much time in.

Centrally located in Marylebone Station, this pub/restaurant needs a complete make over as the furnishings and fittings have seen better days. The English breakfast fast large but needed to have better quality ingredients

I went in here a few years ago and was impressed by the layout and the selection of beer. How things have changed! The surroundings are now scruffy (we sat on the street side of the pub) but the biggest shock was having to pay £5.10 for a pint of London Pride. Even by London standards, that's steep. I won't be going there again in a hurry.

Popped in with my wife on the way back home. Very nice FishnChip Meals- well cooked,presented and reasonable price. Excellent Real ales available. Recommended.

We arranged to meet here before our adventure to Warwick. Service average no please or thankyou offered. Beer was ok. Several staff wandered through with lunch bought from other outlets !!

Tuna melt nothing special, served it on wooden platter not even a leaf. Looked very Lonely :( . £5.60 a pint and went to get another round and the Barmen took my pint away still had mouth full left. Told him and he said oh and tried to give it back after fingers been in and all over glass. ? No snob but come on !! Don't sit near toilets, STINK! Pub for the lost tourist me thinks.

Stopped here on my way to watching spurs at Wembley. Good little bar, more character than a lot of station bars, you still feel like you’re in a proper bar and even get some outside seating.

Not been here for 30 years ,last time on way to Wembley. This is a traditional old Station bar. Prices are good and good choice of beers. Small terrace in station coutyard and you can watch the world go by.

I had half an hour to kill so called in for a beer and to do some work. The place was busy but there was only one person being served when I arrived.

Nobody spends long here, but they make a real effort to keep the interior clean and tidy. Good choice of beers, lagers and cider, plus plenty of food options. There's an outside seating area in the station concourse. This is another reason if you can to travel to and from Marylebone Station, which is probably the best main line train station in London.

I'm in the Victoria & Albert now. A single girl on her own. I feel fine, not intimidated nor lonely.

Having about 90 minutes to kill before my train left, I though I would visit the V and A for some food and a pint.

Probably the only station pub in London that serves decent real ale - shame I don't often have to travel from Marylebone

The worst food I have ever eaten! Ordered burgers which were greasy and undercooked! I left half of it even though I was hungry after a long journey! My son ate all of his but later felt sick! Disgusting!

you know the feeling, you've had a busy day, time to kill before your train so you want a traditional pub with decent beer. I had the IPA which went down well and I understand the Estrella was good as well. Typical London prices but it hit the spot. Would have been 5 star if the toilets were better

This Pub is in a good location in Marlybone close to the Landmark Hotel. Friendly, warm and lots of beer options. The food is not real good but the atmosphere, and the beers are worth a visit.

We wanted a pub meal before travelling home (and due to the lack of availability of pubs in the Marylebone area) we settled on this pub, it's very dated, the tables were dirty and uncleared (but this could be due to a busy period or lack of staff) so we sat and ordered.

A meeting place or place to wait for your train home, standard food offering but good selrction of beers at sensible prices... Toilet...could do with some cleaning...

Typically expensive station pub inside Marylebone station. Beer not massively cold. Music way too loud for comfort. Tables rarely wiped or cleared. And the lounge bar smells like a decaying putrid corpse that's been urinated on by the undead. Genuinely unpleasant. Needs a thorough clean or closing down completely.

My friends and I were en route from Marylebone Station to the Cockpit Theatre and stopped at the Victoria and Albert for lunch. Suffice to say I shan't ever be setting foot in there again.

I was the only person standing at one of the two bars for over 5 minutes without any of the 3 members of staff acknowledging or serving me. Little care for the customer experience, a simple "someone will be with you in a minute" would work rather than walking past me multiple times and staying mute.

We stopped in here at a bad time - it was a beautiful hot sunny day, and the trains st Marylebone station (to which this is attached) were suspended, so there were lots of customers, particularly lager drinkers outside.

I've been popping in for 10 years for the occasional pint whilst waiting to commute and it's an impressive enough looking place at first, classic mahogany station bar etc but under the surface lurks dirt....

I work in the station, and on pay day Friday each month we treat ourselves to a cooked breakfast here. The food is actually very nice, considering it is a pub - not greasy, good quality bacon and sausages and nice bread.

This bar is between Travelodge and Marylebone tube station.A lovely quiet bar although it is always busy.We had a breakfast of crusty rolls and bacon on our last day in London.Extremely filling and reasonably priced.The staff were polite and friendly.I would have enjoyed going back to sample the lunch menu if we had more time.I would recommend this as a good eating place .

Came here for a quick glass of wine before my train trip. Situated on Marylebone station, it has a small seating area outside and get get quite busy early evening. Nice decor. Did not try the food menu but it looked OK from what I saw being eaten by other patrons. A single glass of Pinot costs over £6 so it's not cheap. A handy pub but not the best station bar I have been in. But nice for an early evening drink.

Nice food but have to say the portions a little light.... Small serving of fries and the risotto should of been an extra 50% in volume ...., good food but just need more of it to make it value for money Outside seating available

Local meeting and in the absence of a meeting room to go to, my colleagues and I used this place 1st thing in the morning when it was very quiet indeed. We were the only customers and ordered breakfast.

I basically selected classic breakfast and a drink. Should have picked ultimate where you get a drink, more food and hardly any higher cost. I did make an error but surely the bar lady could have said that it would be better to go for ultimate !

I must have been to Marylebone nearly 100 times over the years and never even saw this place before. Popped in here a couple of times this week as I arrived at the station 1 minute after my train left. Nice enough place, don't think I'd have ever visited had I not had 30 minutes to pass.

This is a perfect little up pub. Ancient looking with a fireplace, a great selection of speciality beers and not too overcrowded. A pub as it should be.

Walked in to order, nobody around. Left and came back a few min later, still nobody around, called out for someone but had no luck. There was a fresh produce delivery on the floor waiting to be put away. I could of helped myself to anything I wanted on the bar. Wont be back.

A nice, well situated pub in the middle of Marylebone station. Great for enjoying a drink until your train is boarding, or waiting for friends to arrive.

Was looking for a quiet bite to eat for lunch whilst awaiting the arrival of colleages on the train. Have noticed the V&A; before on the concourse but this is the first time actually using it.
