We were sent to this pub for fish and chips. Ordered at the bar as the wait seemed to be long. Just what I expected. Good beer and good fried fish. I tried several others fish and chips in London. This was my favorite.

As an ex-pat Brit visiting the UK for the first time in years, I was looking forward to going to a pub again. What a mistake we made in wandering into the Hog in the Pound after going to a show nearby. Yes, it was late but it was before last orders. Vince ordered a pint. After it was poured, the barmaids proceeded to chat to her colleague in a foreign language for some time before even acknowledging us again. She then asked us for the

I would advise to never go here, however hungry you are, however convenient it seems. The food is low quality and over priced. I think they prey on the tourists...

Our first day in London in 20 years! My wife and I had been out and about in the city with our two teenage children since the morning, our shopping bags were full, our feet were getting tired, our mood was changing. Then we stumbled into this Pret branch on Argyle Street: Without any particular expectations and quite annoyed, I reached into the refrigerated section for a ham & cheese sandwich, chicken shawarma, chicken avocado and carrot cake. Cold drinks too. I actually just wanted to pay at the counter and leave. Then I couldn't decide on a coffee so quickly... The manager and his employee noticed that we all needed a break. They were super relaxed, mega friendly, and offered us an extra tea. So we went upstairs to the pleasantly bright lounge with a relaxed atmosphere and enjoyed our first delicious "picnic" in London for half an hour. If there were more good hosts like this in London, the city would get more than 5 stars from us tourists!

Different bagels to choose from, I opted for plain. Liked that I was able to customise my order with ease and no faff - I had the Vegan Cream Cheese Stack, but with regular cream cheese, and tomato instead of avocado. The bagel was toasted and the whole thing was fresh & tasty! Would visit again.
