Victoria in Barking and Dagenham

Went in here for the first time as me and the other half just wanted a few beers. We did not know about this pub and were drinking in the pub near the station . That other pub was not at all good so we stopped going. Then came across this pub and it was a nice enjoyable evening. So we have found a place to have a few beers.

I have never seen such rude service anywhere. They should be feeding the pigs, not running a bar. The manager told me to leave after 5 minutes because... I didn't order anything. Come and buy something now and if you don't, **** **f. It's dirty and disgusting inside. He explained to me that these are the rules in the UK (sorry what? where? Can you show me?). I have never seen such rules anywhere in the world. 30 years ago in Russia, there were similar bars where it smelt, it was nasty, disgusting drunk people were lying around the whole pub. But even there, no one kicked people out after 5 minutes for anything. Worst service I've ever seen. I will not come back.

Great pub, fantastic atmosphere. Sadly they do not serve any food.

A great local pub within 10 minutes of the hotel. Rob & Lee were great hosts! The veer was well priced too!!

Lovly little quite place if you fancy some peace... Not very expensive has karaoke there on certain days .. but alround not a bed boozer

avoid like the plague. couldn't recommend this place. Literally the most disgusting pub we have ever seen. we will be reporting them and will not be told we can not have my honest opinion about this farce of a pub!! Save your money people go elsewhere as we have done.

Very historic place to visit . Captured the Roman Britain history very well. Very interesting especially the prison part which was very real . Excellent customer service from the staff especially the fellow who dressed in Roman clothes upstairs. However, I wish it will be free for kids to help them learn the history.

quiet pub, It is a lot better then it use to be, and now have new chairs and just got a new pool table 🎱.

Been coming here for years and this place just gets worse every time I come in this will be my last visit here time for me to find a new local the service just gets worse as the weeks go by and the new land lady needs to learn some manors I won £50 on the fruit machine it paid me £36 in old pound coins and she refused to change them up into new ones or give me notes telling me I shouldn't have played it then and if don't like it just put them back in piss poor I say I'm deffo finding a new local after this

Good old fashioned East End pub. Friendly clientele and bar staff, speedy service. Certainly recommend.

Old-fashioned, friendly local boozer. No real-ale and no fancy snacks, just lager, cider and John Smiths.

Tiempo no ha sido amable con pubs ingleses pero no cabe duda de que este es un clásico atemporal. Lleno de obvias asiduos, el ambiente es amable y acogedor. Pasamos 3 noches disfrutando de la riqueza de la música en vivo los sábados por la noche, la camaradería del día del juego el domingo y la diversión y risas de karaoke en el lunes por la noche. (No creo que al final del lunes por la noche!) decoración es absolutamente espléndido, cálido y rico. Y el personal del bar es amable como pueden ser (aunque no les importa algunas bromas lúdico). No es lo mismo que te dan con un pub de cena Wetherspoon y eso es enormemente perdido y de agradecer! ¡Seguid así!

Need to come into 21st Century - Decor needs to be updated probably the only pub in Barking. No atmospher only had 1 then left.
