Outstanding service from our waitress, Loredana —friendly, professional, and always with a warm smile. The food was decent but didn’t quite justify the price. The mash was underwhelming, and the red wine sauce lacked depth. However, the steak was well-cooked and full of flavour. The setting is a highlight, with a fantastic view of Tower Bridge and a relaxed, mellow atmosphere for lunch. The outdoor seating is a great option, featuring comfortable chairs and effective heating, making it a pleasant spot year-round.

I visited last January, and the steak I had while looking at the illuminated Tower Bridge was absolutely delicious. All the food was great, and the service was very friendly. Enjoying delicious meals while traveling doubles the happiness!😉

I went for the view. The tables with the fireplace are the best in winter. It's a good idea to book. The view of the bridge is beautiful. It's worth going for a few drinks.

An absolute disgrace. Service was terrible food was appalling dirty floor wobbly table completely completely overcooked food didn’t even give us cutlery that we had to ask. Waitress, who looked like management started spraying the tables behind us and made us start coughing with the fumes. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and I’m even annoyed that I had to pay For what I received.

03/2025 We dropped in late but the kitchen was still open. We got super friendly service, nice staff. Lady Rumin We ordered beer and: Fish and Chips. All perfect. Tasty sauce, super fries and brillant fish, fresh, crusty and hot. A top recommendation. We will taste again. RSeib

Was here for afternoon tea. Food was not fresh, sandwiches was probably yesterdays. Cakes was ok. Scones was ok, but not that fresh either. Tea was from teabags, and the kettle held enough tea for two cups only. Server did not offer a new kettle. Save your money, have tea somewhere else.

As we visited Vicinity restaurant so the ambience is so good and service by Rubel is outstanding. He is very polite and friendly to us. It is very nice go to be here and very clear view of tower bridge😊

We had gone for the afternoon tea which we had reserved in advance. We were given a seat with the worst view, almost at the corner by two sides of the wall which cut of most of the view for some of our party. We asked if there was a top floor and the manager of the restaurant said I can go ask up stairs(which is another part of the hotel if they have seats, didn't offer to do it for us, which they didn't have). We finally sat down in the original place and they brought the tea. It didn't have some of the flavors mentioned in their list. One of our members had allergies to a wide range of allergens and we let them know and they said they would provide a fruit bowl instead of the normal accompaniments. They took a long time to bring the food which we later found was due to them creating some of the savory treats and scones from scratch, kudos to them for that. But unfortunately that delayed the food a lot (I had drunk 3 cups of tea by then) and the staff didn't clearly explain or give attention to us during the time. I felt some of the staff didn't give us much attention, brushing us off and we're looking down on us. The food was not that great too. All in all not a great experience.

We had booked for a high tea , the staff were not very welcoming towards us may be a tad racist…. Having a few allergies we had requested regarding the allergy friendly menu which they tried to accommodate … no much options on the tea though..would never recommend it for anyone… overpriced and unwelcoming …. Service was pathetic ..

We came here for the afternoon tea service that is £35 per person. When we entered, the servers didn't seem too helpful to get us seated. When we asked for a seat with the view of the Tower Bridge, the manager asked us to go check it for ourself on the top floor but it won't be their responsibility. The hosts were hostile. We had requested, 5 hours prior to our appointment about an allergy friendly food plate, but they were not prepared for it. So they made us wait, did not come in to check in on us. We had to call them and they said it is being prepared. We were on our third cup of beverage when they finally got the food. The food in itself was super underwhelming. The finger sandwiches tasted horrible and the deserts were way too sweet. For an establishment with such a premium view and price, this place is trash. Would never reccomend it.

Lovely late valentines, anniversary meal eve of 15th Feb, arrived late as a damsel in distress to our pre booked reservation due to road closures and cab cancellations. Both doors had lengthy ques coming out of them but the manager of the day Boisey ensured despite our late arrival our evening wouldnt be ruined and seated us at the lovely spot beside the window overlooking tower bridge as id previously requested in my booking. We both had calamari and machos to start, steaks were charred outside and medium rare as requested inside. The peppercorn sauce for dipping is lovely(much preferred to the blue cheese personally) then followed by a vanilla cheesecake rich but lovely sauce drizzled over it and strawberries added made it! Boisey then brought us over our complimentary happy anniversary plate with a chocolate fondue brownie on, a lovely touch! Despite upon arrival expecting our plans of a lovely meal to be sabotaged Boisey salvaged it for us, he even took some lovely photos also and was generally nice guy to converse with. Thank you due to him and chef of the evening.

Today i been to the Vicinity restaurant and the restaurant was empty i ask to the staff who is working there if i can seat with my friends and he said the table is reserved and i ask him what time for is reserved he said now in a rude way and after he even didn’t offer to us another table or he could ask do we want to seat in other table wich was free the guy was rude is this the new staff behaviour ti the customers???are they treating the customers in a rude way as he did today the time was 4 pm afternoon i am so disappointed shame i love the restaurant with the nice view to the tower bridge!!!

I ate at Vicinity and everything was perfect, the food was amazing and the atmosphere too but the best part was the service: Mahbub was our waiter, I must thank him, he was extremely friendly and he took great care of us! I highly recommend him and the restaurant.

We were walking past and happened to see a couple of empty tables with fire pits and managed to get sat at one of them. I suspect you’d normally need to book well in advance, so think we just got lucky. The service was good for both drinks and food. We just had a couple of snacks (Onion Rings and Fries) - but both were good, and arrived quickly. Great views too - and the fire pits were a nice touch on a cold day. Whilst not cheap I’d say the prices are reasonable for such a prime location.

If you plan a visit using a voucher - don’t! They move you to a shabby corner of the restaurant and treat you like third class! So the view you think you will get of tower bridge- NO! Staff don’t really want you there and they are looking for 15% tip! Food is very very average- similar to take away food. Ended up paying over a £120 for 2 even though we had paid using the voucher. There are hidden charges they don’t tell you about in the menu. Over all POOR! Definitely won’t come again and if you’re reading this, there are far better places you can dine in and this isn’t one !!!!!

Really didn't appreciate it. I ordered a Caesar salad, I ended up with salad, a sauce that had nothing to do with it and chicken that was too tough and filleted. I don't recommend eating there and I paid 21 pounds for this salad.

We went there and it wasn’t the first time, it is one of my favourite places in London!. You should book it if you want to fire place. Their food is great.. Try their mocktails, fish and chips and teas

Boisey is one of the most inattentive staff I have ever come across words can't describe how he ruined my evening after proposing to my fiance zero respect or decorum. I waited from 18:30 for 3 hours to reserve the flaming table only to be told I can't because a late booking had finally arrived. I was in there the night before the way he spoke to staff even was really rude. I felt bad the way he spoke to Iqbal the Friday the day before when we were at the flaming table. I never write bad reviews but Boisey gets 10/10 for ruining my engagement day with my fiancee. We love the hotel and even Iqbal was a great waiter Friday 10th January. I really hope people see this because every bit of feedback should be monitored. Thanks Boisey you will certainly go far in life when you deal with customers and staff members like that. I won't return to Vicinity but I love the hotel and the staff are all incredible. Thetower hotel made my staff extremely amazing and can't wait to stay again. Thanks so much tower hotel we had an unforgettable experience shame about Boisey.

A real disappointment. Booked well in advance and paid the full price (almost €500 for the dinner on 31.12 for two people): food of very poor quality and preparation, staff who rushed you and were poorly prepared. They had guaranteed me dinner, party with DJ and view of Tower Bridge with fireworks show at that price but the evening went terribly. The dinner started at 7.00 pm and ended at 8.30 pm with waiters who made you hurry and anxious. DJ present but only played music and didn't involve dancing, nothing! An absurd and deadly boredom to wait until midnight without doing anything. The worst thing: at midnight not even a countdown, best wishes, nothing! And even worse we don't have half a firework on Tower Bridge, nothing. An evening to forget, I felt cheated!

We decided to come to this Bar after my son walked past and wanted to sit by the fire pits! It was a Saturday evening and all the fire pits were taken. Luckily we were served by a lovely man named Rubel, who said you usually have to book them. However he did say that a group should be going soon and that he’d reserve it for us. The drinks were lovely and he made a 6 year old VERY happy. Thank you Rubel for being so kind.
