Move on, I work in catering, what is done here is simply very expensive for really not much, the service is just passable and the chef I think has nothing left to do, a magnificent kitchen is at his disposal but frankly no more desire at all, he left at 9 p.m. sharp no dessert possible nothing to do I don't know who the manager of this establishment is but your kitchens are a big problem too bad. Sorry for the bad comment but with the price paid I can't say anything else.

Great venue for our Corporate event dinner. The food was superb and the service second to none.

I found the Grill Restaurant very comfortable and friendly. The food was good and reasonably priced.

Excellent meal very good cooking and service in comfortable restaurant, good value for Central London.

My girlfriend and I choose this restaurant thanks to a discount (very expensive for what we get by the way : 1 main course for each including just a salad for my girlfriend + one drink for each = 71 £ ) But they didn't apply the discount and they would like to contact me for a refund at the price of the discount, Great ! 1 month later, I don't have any refund yet and they don't answer me... I'm still frustrating and that's why I published a bad review.

Huge gap between the starter and main dish even all the tables mostly not occupied!!!

Decent food, nice setting and good staff

I almost don't want to review this place because it's so good and yet not over crowded and noisy. Fast welcoming service with fantastic quality food. Not too much choice on the menu, which can also be nice sometimes.

I've read the only other review of this restaurant and I have to say this doesn't echo any of my experiences over the years. I stay here at least once a month for a few days and eat from here at least once. Food is cooked to order so is not going to appear like magic after 5 mins. I have always found the food well cooked, tasteful and enjoyable. Some of the best fish and chips I've had! Staff are attentive and I've never had to wait more than a minute or two whilst they are serving somewhere else. Room service standard of food is the same as if you were dining downstairs.

I simply can't understand why the service was so slow. To be fair, we were given large rather than medium drinks to acknowledge that the staff forgot about us after we sat down, but afterwards was just as bad and the place wasn't busy. And the food wasn't very good anyway...except the salt and pepper squid starter. We're not coming back.

I rarely use such emphasis, but this was sadly by far the worse Afternoon Tea I have ever experienced. Full review as follows: ★★☆☆☆ Ambience Less an afternoon tea venue, more a quiet sports bar vibe, which puts the staff at a huge disadvantage to start with if they are trying to serve what is traditionally a “posh” lunch. ★☆☆☆☆ Sandwiches Seven rather slap-dash cut finger sandwiches, with little variety or flair. Seriously, did the chef only have a blunt knife to hand? • Three ham and mustard • One cheese and cucumber • One cheese and tomato • One tomato • One salmon ★☆☆☆☆ Scones and Cream Bland disappointingly small scones served with some kind of cream that had the consistency of a yoghurt. Whatever it was, this was not high quality clotted cream and certainly not delicious. ★☆☆☆☆ Cakes Bland, stale cakes. No fruit at all. Descriptively tasty looking too. ★★★☆☆ Service Service was friendly and kind, if not entirely conscientious: my tea pot was served without anything to drink it and I actually had to request a cup and saucer. Certainly not worth £26 per person, neither half that price should you book through a third-party. It was frankly dire and they really need to invest in a higher standard of ingredients. Fantastic service from friendly accommodating staff. The Cajun chicken burger was excellent and the chips perfect, crispy on the outside soft and fluffy on the inside.

We were guests at this hotel, but also visited the restaurant and bar. The food in the restaurant was okay in terms of taste, but the price was exorbitant (mac and cheese for just under £14). In addition, the portions were very small. The bar was convincing, but that was also due to the very nice bartender. Prices okay and lots of selection of gin

Horrific.... service, food, drinks, price you name it was horrific. 45 mins to get a drinks order from 3 different people. Food over priced and cold. Table booked for 6pm only table in restaurant and there was only 3 of us! 4.50 for 3 florets of brocoli burnt garlic Steak over priced and came with no sides 18.50 for 2.5 scallops When we complained to the manager on duty he was not apologetic just defensive. Didn't charge us for cocktails but honestly had better food and service at nandos!!!!

I've had 2 delicious meals here over the past couple of weeks. The hostess/manager was delightful, the food was great, and they really adhered to social distancing measures, which is refreshing. Real credit is due to the hostess/manager - she really made the experience.

Had a training session in Aldgate and just happened to come across the restaurant while walking to the station. Wanted something not too heavy so went for the Glazed Salmon, I was pleasantly surprised with it being so tasty. Will be coming again for the Parmesan and truffle chips!

Fantastic meal at this restaurant. Plenty of choice, reasonably priced and superb service. Looking forward to the next visit!!

My wife and I recently enjoyed a great meal here. We started with the burrata. I'm not certain what I was expecting from "English Garden pesto", but it balanced well with the fresh tomatoes. For the main course, I had the double-bone pork chop and my wife the glazed salmon. Both were exceptional. The menu isn't extensive, but each dish had it's own distinct presentation and flavors.
