Amazing steak dinner! It was my Italian parent’s first time in London and first time at Gaucho. Chinmay, the receptionist, kindly greeted us at the door and showed us to the table - he speaks 4 languages so he was able to communicate with my parents. Adrian and Adelina had great wine knowledge and recommended us 2 Malbec to pair with our stake selection. Marga, the chef (Italian) came out to explain to my parents the different stake cuts. The staff also wrote a ‘welcome to London’ message with our dessert! Overall a fantastic experience thanks to the great staff that made us feel very comfortable. We left happy and satisfied. Food, service and location 10/10

Went for my partners 30th birthday and the service and food was exceptional. Karim was our wonderful host and really made us feel at ease and cared for throughout the night. He was super knowledgeable about the wine and told us a great backstory behind the name of the wine we ended up picking. He is a great asset to your team and we will certainly be coming back. His recommendation of the steak was absolutely spot-on—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Amazing food in a first class location. Not cheap but it is a premium experience. Location, service and food are all top notch.

Good vibe and atmosphere but very average food. The peppercorn sauce is probably the best, but otherwise, the steaks were quite average.

Visited last Thursday for dinner, had an amazing time! Table was quite dusty at first, but our waiter, Adrian, promptly switched us to another table and provided us with a new set of clean glasses and cutleries. Adrian was also very friendly and knowledgeable, and provided great recommendations for different types of steaks, sauces and wine to go with it - they match perfectly well with each other! Adrian checked in with us from time-to-time to ensure all is good, and we had a great conversation, even in Cantonese! Overall a great time, thank you Adrian for the great service.

I had a sunny catch up meal with a friend this evening and the food was delicious. Our steaks were cooked just right and the mushrooms were a surprisingly welcome standout as well. We had a range of cocktails there between us which we enjoyed a lot. The staff were professional and attentive and looked after us throughout the experience. The outdoor area is quite spacious as well and a good spot to catch the sun as it sets

Had a wonderful evening in the dome, up until we were asked to vacate within 2 hours, for a smaller party. We had only just finished desserts too and would easily gotten more champagne and cocktails. We were offered a table inside and a round on the house, which never came, Nor did glasses for our bottle of water we hadn't finished. When we highlighted our disappointment, it was met with by a very abrupt and rude manager who was more interested in the party of 2 than the party of 4, 2 of whom dine, regularly. In the end, we left without spending a penny more and you have now lost regular customers. What a poor reflection on the amazing team and service weve always received. Food wise, everything was delicious bar the lobster tail that was so overcooked and tougher than rubber also, do not waste your time on the wagu martini with lemon oil, what a vile drink! Great team, great location, fab food, awful leadership.

We decided to have a great Sunday lunch and where better then at Gauchos by Canary Wharf Pier. So I booked in advance for mid afternoon to avoid the earlier crowed. They texted us to confirm that our table was ready while we were on the way, which I only saw once we arrived, but nevertheless it was a nice touch to the experience. We had a warm welcome when we arrived as the weather just turned windy and cold it wasn't advised to eat outside, but the hostess made sure we get the last available window table, which was greatly appreciated. We ordered the beef roast and the vegan and both were near perfect. They looked great, the textures were perfect on all items and the flavours came through as much as needed. Full compliments to the chefs for including roast garlic on the plate, it a nice touch! The vegan roast was also sublime, its a mushroom and nut mixed loaf which was flavourful enough but not overwhelming with a good texture that is hard to get in vegan dishes. Tomato sauce with roast wouldn't be my first choice, but understand within the concept of a vegan dish it made sense. The dish was overall well balanced, the amount of food was also well proportioned so we were able to finish it and still left some space for dessert. I loved it! The only criticism is that the food arrived colder then expected, but the flavours made up for it a bit. Overall the best Sunday roast we had in London so far this year and we are planning to come back for more. It is now our go to place for well prepared beef, especially following a disappointing visit to Hawksmoor the other week. I also loved the fact that we were able to order mocktails off the menu. Service was good throughout our visit, food was a definite 9/10 overall. Good to note they take both cash snd card payments. We will be back.

There are better places in the area and much better Gaucho chain restaurants. Do not recommend. The food was below average and the service was horrendous. Felt a bit out of place to be honest, not worth it. Empanadas were good though..

I had a fantastic time dining here! The food and drinks were top-notch, and the service was spot on. The staff greeted me warmly and even offered great recommendations, making the whole experience feel special. The atmosphere was perfect, and everything was clean and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Bit of a dead and 'cheaper' atmosphere than it's sister branches in the city. Has got great views of the canal, so outdoor seating in summer can be nice. Their daily special was too 'dry aged' which was not mentioned by the waiter unfortunately, but the ordinary mains were great. Kids menu could be a little more elaborate to be fair as there were more families. We tried all the deserts, the cheese cake was inedible, nor was the white chocolate creme brulee, however, their Sundae was spot on! Waiter wasn't first of very happy with us, but then cheered up later and was actually quite pleasant.

Late booking for a party of 10, so we were delighted to get in. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially as one of our parties used a wheelchair. Spacious seating, lovely decor, clean and fresh toilets 26th high quality hand wash and hand cream... sometimes, it's the little things that matter. The menus is 90% Argentinian beef, steaks, and burgers, but I had the seabass, which was delicious 😋. Others had either rump or fillet steak with side dishes and all feedback that it was delicious. The 🍷 menu is extensive but pricy, cocktail menus availability also. Did not have time for desert. If you love your steak and have a deep pocket, then this is highly recommended. The only little negative was that one of the waiters was a little brusk at times, but he warned up towards the end.

Tried their 3-Courses Spring Lunch Set Menu with Beef Tartare Tacos, Sirloin and their Pancakes for dessert. I liked the beef tartare tacos, and find the beef tartare presented in a taco topped with pepper and chilli seasonings to be quite creative. The sirloin was cooked to medium rare and it comes with chips or salad and chimichurri sauce. Finished with Pancake topped with ice cream. The restaurant interior is quite dark but if it does face the Thames, which is nice on a good sunny day. The service was good and fast, got seated quickly (although mainly due to not a lot of people at lunch hour on a weekday) and they got the food out fast. The price is reasonable for typical dining in London, the portion sizes of the foods are about right when compared to the price.

Tiny portions, pretentious and OTT decor. Pricey. Argentinian steakhouse this might be, but not a very good one! The only saving grace are the staff - polite, helpful and attentive.

From the moment I stepped onto the terrace, bathed in glorious sunshine, I knew this Sunday roast at Gaucho Canary Wharf was going to be special. The stunning waterfront views provided the perfect backdrop to a truly exceptional meal. The roast itself was cooked to perfection. The beef was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavour, and the Yorkshire puddings were light and fluffy. The roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside. Every element of the meal was clearly prepared with care and attention to detail. The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel incredibly welcome. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. Combine the delicious food, the stunning location, and the fantastic service, and you have a truly unforgettable dining experience. Gaucho Canary Wharf is the perfect place to enjoy a Sunday roast on a beautiful sunny day. I can't wait to return!

If you go for steak, this may be a great choice. But other food is not worth even 10 bucks. Drinks are ok. Google shouldn’t bring this as an italian restaurant in search. It is very disappointing . Paid close to 200 bucks for three but poor food menu outside the steak menu.

Went here for a friends private birthday dinner. The food was meh, but staff were amazing and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure our group were fully catered for.

Food and staff were excellent. There was a slight issue with one of my dishes and the way it was handled by the staff was impeccable. I've only dropped star as the decor is not to my taste and sitting by the bar meant atmosphere was a bit lacking.

OK but somewhat overpriced for what it is. Ribeye steak was good, cooked to perfection; but, chips and mushrooms could have been a good deal hotter. Apparently the fillet steak was rather sinewy... not what one would expect at the price, and again chips were sub par.

Came here for an early Valentine’s celebration, waitress was very attentive and had a lot of personality making the service enjoyable. The steak didn’t wow me it tasted quite burnt on the outside in certain parts. The mash was nice and creamy and the mac and cheese was average not bursting with flavour.

Welcome was very poor. Stood waiting to allocates a table for several minutes with staff passing us at least 8-10 times without even an acknowledgement let alone a ‘sorry, with you shortly’ had to stand the way and force a conversation before someone actually dealt with us. After that all fine and the guy serving our table was great.

This is an amazing restraunt and the food was delicious. Our waiters, Robert and Baker, were excellent and provided a fantastic service.

Went for the Valentine’s set menu on Friday. Food was lovely and came out perfect, the timings in between each course gave us enough time to relax and chat whilst enjoying the food. Our server Adrien was knowledgeable and welcoming making our experience that extra bit more special. Will definitely be returning if we are back in London

We were visiting on a voucher as a Christmas/ Birthday present purchased by my daughter and her partner. The manager and staff treated us as very special people. The service and food were excellent. Would recommend this to everyone we know and definitely go back

Ate here for a business lunch and had the 3 course menu which proved to be great value with lots of choice. Also indulged in some cocktails which were amazing. It’s a very well laid out with an open kitchen. On a Tuesday early afternoon very quiet but the service was excellent. We were well looked after. Excellent for special occasions and on a good weather day some great views of the Thames.

I booked via their free lunch campaign and their prawns starter is one of the best prawn dishes I've ever had 🤩They also make a mean margarita!!

The steak is amazing and the service is excellent. The restaurant was quite empty as the winter light festival was taking place in the same area.

My burger was cold, I ordered the wagyu burger but got the American style one. The waitress just put it on the table without specifying which one was which, we were left unattended on a few occasions, had to search for them for the bill. I was very disappointed

Very busy, nice food, nice decor.

We used to visit once in a months on average, and we loved the igloo experience! Food is good quality, and service is always fantastic. However, there is now healthy competition in the area for steak restaurants, and this Gaucho lags behind in terms of food quality for the price segment. The restaurant facilities also clearly need an upgrade and I’d recommend they change their cleaning company - the tables are often sticky and bathrooms are not the most pleasant. Worth noting it is dog friendly. So, if you don’t enjoy having a bunch of fluff thrown into your steak from a furry friend at table nearby (not to mention the smell), this Gaucho is not for you.

I dined as part of a large group that could choose two courses from a pre-theatre menu. I opted for the steak tartare tacos for my starter and, for my main, the chorizo, a style of sirloin steak.

Went for new years last night, food was cold, steak was cooked well done when we asked for medium rare. The one vegetarian option turned out cold and extremely plain for £16, got given the bill before our food arrived which included a £17 service charge, staff were very rushed and no one asked how the meal was while we were eating. The staff used the excuse of “it’s a late night booking” that’s why they weren’t attentive. I don’t think they should be accepting bookings at a late time if they are unable to accommodate for all guests, there were other people booked in after us so I guess they received the same poor service. Another waitress came over and apologised for the long wait for our second round of drinks and offered to refund these. Only at this point after we were eating was when someone asked how the food was. We explained the situation and the poor service, they did refund the whole bill which was nice and glad they took accountability for it. But we wanted to have a lovely meal with good service which we did not receive. Would not recommend at all. As per the reply, we arrived at 20 past, very poor service don’t offer tables late if you can’t provide good service.

Nice service, but I'm not sure the meat was real Argentinian Angus; it tasted different from other Argentinian Angus I've had. It was also very pricey for the quality and didn't even include sides. You can get much better value for £100 per person elsewhere.

I celebrated my birthday at Gaucho Canary Wharf, and it was amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly and made the evening so special. The food was outstanding, especially the steaks, and the wine selection was perfect. The stunning location and great service made it unforgettable. Can’t wait to visit again!

Went to celebrate my flatmates' birthday yesterday, and the food and service were impeccable. Pacar, our sever, was extremely thorough and thoughtful, tending to our every need. So shout out to him. The managers also made an effort to make us feel welcomed, which made such a difference to the experience of Gaucho. Food was delcious from start to finish. My Churassco de Chorizo was cooked to perfection. Enjoyed every moment of it and would highly recommend going again.

I love Gaucho. It's just ruddy expensive. Otherwise, I'd go more often. Steaks are lush. Some of the sides can be a miss. Cocktails are great. Service is usually some of the best I've found in hospitality. Recommend!

Worst dining experience in a long time. It was truly terrible which was shocking, dined at Gaucho at the O2 two years ago and it was ok. The experience at the Canary Wharf one was so bad. My friends and I didn’t enjoy a thing. The steak was burnt and not in a good way, mash wasn’t good, even the cocktails were bland. The cheesecake we ordered for dessert was also burned and tasted stale. When the bill arrived we were shocked to see £500, thank goodness we checked every line item, we discovered we were given the wrong bill. Terrible terrible experience.

With so much competition for good steak restaurants in Canary Wharf now I must say I was a bit disappointed overall with Gauchos. Value wasn't there for the quality we received, what once was many years ago a favourite of mine, doesn't quite live up the expectations I had. The sauages to start were far too burnt, the steaks overall were OK, none of them were great. 3 out of 5 represents a fair reflection of the experience and quality we had.

We had an incredible late lunch at Gaucho Canary Wharf in one of their outdoor pods, and it was the perfect setting for a relaxing afternoon with friends. From the start, the experience was exceptional. We began with a nice selection that set the tone for the meal, followed by a fantastic Argentine meats, expertly cooked and full of flavor. The wine selection was excellent, perfectly complementing the food, and the cocktails were equally impressive. Special thanks to Francesco, the talented bartender, for crafting such delicious drinks. What truly stood out, however, was the outstanding service. Our waiter, Adrian, was a star throughout the meal—friendly, attentive, and making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our experience. He truly elevated the evening and made it memorable. All in all, it was an amazing dining experience: phenomenal food, great drinks, and impeccable service. I will absolutely be back soon!

Underwhelming experience. Service was rushed but friendly, steak was well cooked but nothing special, fries were cold and the Bernaise sauce was absolutely terrible...straight from a packet. Chain, high volume restaurant at high prices. There is much better out there.

Loved it! They keep delivering same fantastic food and service to me and my guests on every visit. This time I visited in a busy day during the festive season while they had a lot of groups and still have received amazing hospitality. Can't fault this place !

This is a solid choice in Restaurant in Canary Wharf. We tried the Churrasco Lomo and the texture was great. In terms of price point, we are though not fully sure whether that is worth it, but with rising prices everywhere it just needs to be taken to account. Otherwise the steak salad was great too, but would recommend two sides if you need it to be very filling. The restaurant staff was fabulous. Very friendly and helpful despite of the restaurant being busy. Great choice to go!

Lovely place have been many times, service is good but had an experience where staff not so friendly, however would recommend it, I have going to Gaucho all over London over many years.

So we thought Gaucho Canary Wharf would fit the bill to celebrate two Birthdays on the same day. One of them a 50th. We were looking forward to the food and the atmosphere. Unfortunately we were seated outside in one of the pods. Bear in mind it was absolutely freezing and that door opening on the pod was awful and let the coldest air in so we basically sat in the pod freezing for entire duration of high killed any birthday atmosphere we were seeking to add to the enjoyment of the night. Thanks Gaucho for that! The service was otherwise very good and our waiter was attentive and helpful. Nothing to fault other than like an arm food that had to make the journey from the restaurant and through the cold air to our pod! The food was otherwise of high quality but given the price charged you would expect it. Shame really that the high points where marred by a few low ones given we wanted to celebrate a 50th.

Fabolous experience here. Celebrated a lovely lunch with them, again and enjoyed it. Restaurant looked very good with the Christmas decorations. Shaffin looked after us and he was not only very knowledgeable but also kind and polite. He truly made our experience memorable!

We are a Spanish family who love to eat well and we have 100% enjoyed this experience at GAUCHO CANARY WHARF. I especially want to highlight the attention given by Jorge, a man from Cádiz living in London who captivates with his friendliness; and, as an overdose of good treatment, attention, professionalism, friendliness and kindness, we highlight the service provided by Shaffin, an expert in exolicarnes, cuts of meat and good wine. We give a 10 to Jorge and Shaffin for their special and wonderful attention. In food, we highlight the SALMON TACOS AND THE LOMO CHURRASCO, two authentic delicacies. And as it came, the MALBEC SUSANA, delicious. A totally recommended gastronomic experience.

We had the best waiter Shaffin. Shaffin was very attentive and friendly.He was very knowledgeable about all the different cuts of meat. We loved him and his positive energy.The igloo pod was a fantastic experience. It was heated and had a Bluetooth speaker which made our time even more enjoyable! The steal was delicious. Highly recommended!
